Hero Cat
Chapter 15: The Pink Knight Part 2
We fade into Hero Cat and Fishboy sitting in their seats for their interview.
"We're once again here to greet our favorite dynamic duo of Elmore Hero Cat and Fishboy."
"Good morning, America!" Hero Cat cheerfully waived to the audience.
"H-hi." Fishboy nervously waived to the audience as well.
"Now, Hero Cat, the viewers at home wanted to know what happen to your series? It was going somewhere but then went silent ending on a cliffhanger. Care to explain that?" the announcer asked.
Hero Cat sighed and answered as honest as possible. "Well, to tell you the truth. The Story of Hero Cat was quietly cancelled with no further update as the creator started to lose interested on doing it and rather do other stuff. Something call Ace-something I don't know. Never heard of it. It was literally hard on us but understandable as we had fun and decided to move on with our lives. Which actually sucked."
"That's rough." The announcer said.
"Yeah. Then, out of nowhere a phone call from the creator calling us to say "Time to get the band back together". And with those words from him, we all stop what we were doing and just meet up with him and thus...Hero Cat is back."
"That's great news. But aren't you worried that the Hero Cat story will fall into another long hiatus without any announcement?" The announcer asked.
Hero Cat smiled and respond. "Well if that happens again, I'll kill him!" Hero Cat shouted.
Everybody laughed including Hero Cat until he growled meaning he's serious.
Fishboy quickly jump in to change the subject. "A-anyway. Here's part 2 of the season 1 finale of Hero Cat. Enjoy."
The story starts of Richard enjoying his time in candy land. The first thing he done was skipping with the chocolate rabbits all the way to chocolate city. Next, he eats a milk chocolate tree and then eats a chocolate dog. Finally, he stop by at a candy story to to look at all the different kind of chocolate sweets which made him drool like crazy.
"Soo good. I don't know where to start."
Richard that noticed three chocolate kids that look awfully familiar to Gumball, Darwin, and Anais. But Richard doesn't see the obvious similarity and greeted. "Hello, kids. You look awfully tasty. May I take bite of you?"
Chocolate cat respond. "Dad, wake up!"
Richard confused.
Chocolate Cat slap Richard in the face.
That hard slap woke Richard right up as scream. Apparently, Hero Cat and Fishboy woken up earlier to rush back home to check the rest of his family if they're alright. As they arrived, they're too late. Warlock and Anais are still out cold and his mom is missing. Before they woke his dad, they already woke Anais up which leaves a dire consequences with scratch marks on their faces sucking up the pain.
"I was in the candy land again." Bunny Warlock said while still rubbing his cheek in pain.
"Get up dad! The Pink jerk took mom!"
Warlock quickly got back on his when hearing his wife got kidnapped. "WHAT?! We got to rescue her. For God's sake, if he lay a finger on my wife..."
Fishboy cut him off. "Hang on, We don't even know where that guy taken her."
Warlock then quickly realized that Fishboy is right. "You're right. What are we going to do? We have no leads or clues to fond." Warlock sobbed.
Anais facepalmed. "Why don't you wish mom to return home?"
Warlock said. "And end the chapter? No sir." Bunny Warlock think for a sec and got an idea. "I know." He took out his wand and waive around to make a wish. "I wish we have something to track down Nicole Watterson."
*POOF*
Warlock holds a tracking device that pinpoint Nicole's location. The device active to point north where Nicole.
"Haha! We got it. Let's go!" Warlock said.
Meanwhile:
The Pink Knight removes her helmet to show her mother who she is. "Hello mother."
Demolition Woman gasped. "L-Lexy?"
Trivion was sleeping as he drool but woke up when his head about to go down. "Wh-what? We're finally back? Geez it's like we just take a very long hiatus. And I got to tell you, I ain't a fan of-"
Lexy knock Trivion at the back of his head with her gun to shut him up as she's getting really annoyed by him, and turn back to her mother who is still shock seeing this twist. "Honestly, you should have guess the obvious twist since my armor is pink and design looks like a cat. Plus, I'd expect more words coming from you."
Demolition Woman is still lost of words.
Lexy chuckles. "You probably wondering how am I alive? Here's the full on detail."
*Flashback*
At Logan's Chemical Plant, The Danger Family fighting Trivion's goon while Trivion sneaks away trying to escape the factory. Lexy spotted Trivion making a run for it so she went after him.
"I chase after the criminal and I thought I could capture him myself, but I was wrong. Trivion already knows one us will be on hot pursued on him so he knock me out from behind."
Lexy slowly woke up to find out she's tied up into a chair and is gagged. This isn't the first time she was kidnapped a very common for young sidekicks. She looks around to know where she's at and it looks like she's in some sort of warehouse. Then, she heard laughing that's sound very like Trivion as he slowly walk out.
"When will sidekicks learn not to pick fight with me all alone. It makes it too easy, but it makes sooo much fun. And I'm going to have some fun right now."
"Then, the nightmare begins. I don't know how long but it feels like a week has past. The pain I've witness were just awful. Listening to Trivion's terrible jokes, forced to watch a lot of awful movies, getting hit by banana cream pies, and then watch more terrible movies. I've yelled and call my family save me, but all I hear was Trivion mocking me and telling that their not coming to rescue me. And he's right.
Months later, Trivion was getting really bored of Lexy as he yawned. Lexy has not say a word since with her head down in shame with dry tears on her face, her body is dirty and sweaty and smell like pee. It looks like Trivion had finally broken her.
"Well kiddo it's been fun, but daddy got to go to work know. Remember to do your homework and eat your greens, okay?"
No respond from Lexy.
Trivion smiled. "That's my girl." He began laughing and left the warehouse.
With him finally gone, Lexy gain back her conscious. She used every bit of her strength to break out of her chair but collapse on the ground. Her legs are a sleep since she hasn't got out of the chair in months so she has to crawl already to the door.
"At first I thought I could finally escape, but I should have known better because Trivion also plan this as well."
As soon she turn the door knob, the entire warehouse exploded.
"It was the end of me for good...as I thought. I don't know how but I woke up from the explosion, I'm...still alive. It was a miracle. It looks like I got my mom's powers after all. Heh. How convenient. But I don't care about that, right now I need to get home. I don't believe a word what Trivion say. My family do care and they've been searching for me for months and probably crying for me after I've been missing. Until..."
When she arrives out of the Watterson home and through out the window, she sees her family laughing and hugging, and leaves crying, thinking that they didn't even bother looking for me and aren't upset. Trivion is right. They don't care.
"I was heartbreaking too see the truth. Not one shed of tear of sorrow. It's like I've been forgotten. Then, I begin to feel the rage that grows and grows each everyday. The feeling makes me want to...to...take REVENGE!"
Lexy drops down to an abandoned building where we see criminals selling illegal and stolen D.E.F.E.N.S.E. armor suit and kick the holy hell out of them so she can take them. Next, she customize the suit to look like a cat and painted pink. Later, she train herself to used guns and how to operate the suit. Near at the end of the month, Lexy is ready going by the name "The Pink Knight."
"For a long years, I've watch you in the shadows and by myself for the right might. The only reasons I save you and others is that I need you alive until Trivion break out of asylum. I could have broken him out myself but I want my appearance to be secret."
*Flashback end*
"And hear we are."
"We...We thought you were dead." Demolition Woman said.
"Don't you dare lie to my face! You guys don't seem to care when I was kidnapped after I escape. That's right I saw everything. Is that it? Was I never good enough for you, mom? I'm not smart like Anais, I don't have good reflex like Dante, or have powers like Gumball?!" Lexy yelled.
"That is not true!" Demolition Woman yelled back.
"Well, guess what, mom. I do have powers after all. I guess I'm just a late bloomer. But right now I'm putting my personal grudge aside towards you so we can play a game and it's call "Judgement day." Lexy said aim a gun on to Trivion's head.
"Lexy, stop this."
"Come on, mom. You can't be serious. This piece of fifth kill and torture so many sidekicks...Boy Wonder II found dead in the alley, Robo-Boy recycled into a paper clips, Rocket girl living in a asylum for having an extreme meltdown, and those are few from a very large list. Trivion keeps getting away Scott free as the court send him to the asylum for being insane. Which yeah he is insane, but he deserved a death penalty."
"We're not judge, jury, executioner." Demolition Woman then explained. "Yes. This monster deserved death, but I want the court receive punishment on him. Me killing him want make things right, I'll just be as bad as Trivion."
Lexy scoffs. "Well the court did a good freaking job punishment as he got away with it and put into the asylum. It's time to end this once and for all!" Lexy break the chair where Trivion is sitting to hold him like a hostage and point a gun onto his head. "And if you can't kill him, I will!"
"I can't let you do this!"
"Then, you'll have to kill me then, mom! Or else I'll kill him!" Lexy shouted.
Demolition Woman sees Lexy shaking as she struggles to pull the trigger. It looks like Lexy is about too shoot and she's not kidding, but she couldn't do it after all as drop the unconscious trivion while she fell onto her knees crying. She thought she could do it but remembered that she was a hero and follow the hero code too well.
"Lexy." Demolition Woman walk over to her daughter to comfort her but stay back when Lexy aim her gun at her mother.
"Get away from me! That's still no excuse for not saving me sooner! Admit! You, dad, Gumball, and Anais were all so happy that I'm gone because I'm just dead weight!" Lexy sobbed.
"Lexy, that's not true and you know it."
*Flashback*
"When we learn that Trivion has kidnapped you, we search the entire city inside and out for three agonizing months and no sign of you until we got a surprised guess at our front door."
*DING DONG*
Demolition Woman opens the door to see who it was and shock to all shock, it's Trivion dressed as a mail man holding a letter.
"Telegram." Trivion grins.
Demolition Woman dash to grab Trivion by the neck in full fury. "WHERE'S MY DAUGHTER?!"
Trivion hand over the letter to Demolition Woman for her to open it. The widen on her eyes of both shock and frighten to see photos of her dead daughter (which she's not) with bruises, blood, and her torn costume. This makes Trivion laugh after seeing the look on her face which pissed her off even more leading to a brutal fight. The family quickly step in and stop Demolition Man while Trivion still laughing while coughing out blood in pain.
"After Trivion taken custody, I broke down swallowed in sorrow. I've already lost my son Dante and now Lexy. It was my fault for putting my kids in costume and fight crime which resulting them getting hurt or killed, I even try to convince Gumball to quit and have normal life. Gumball refused and then we had fight. But for while, Gumball made several goods points. I know that Lexy and Dante wouldn't want us to just through away all the good we've done. They know the risk and choose to do protect Elmore from criminals. He was right."
Lexy arrives out of the Watterson home and through out the window, she sees her family laughing and hugging.
"What you saw was your brother and mother cheer me up and then we talk about all the good moments with you and how we missed you. "
*Flashback end*
Lexy knowing the truth is very overwhelming her. All these years, she thought her family had given up on her but it was all just Trivion's twist it game. They thought she was dead and talking the happy times when she's here. This makes her wants to kill Trivion but in reality she won't. All she could do is dropping her gun and cry hard, she's choking on her words as she tried to apologies to her mother.
Demolition Woman already know what her daughter is going to say so she walk towards to Lexy to hug her tight to comfort her.
"It's okay. I'm the one who should be sorry. I shouldn't fall for Trivion's trick. And you were right, I 've push you so hard and I'm truly sorry." Demolition Woman apologies as she too began to cry.
The two Watterson's cry together.
The moment interrupted when Hero Cat, Fishboy, Bunny Warlock, and Anais finally found Demolition Woman as they burst down the door.
"Don't worry, Honey, we're here too rescue you!" Warlock shouted.
Anais stared at dad and said. "We would have gotten here sooner if dad had go to the bathroom a lot sooner."
"My bad." Warlock apologies.
Demolition turn to her family with a smile on her face while tears still running down her face. "It's okay, guys. It's all over. And guess who the Pink Knight is?" She let go of Lexy to reveal herself to the rest of the family and waive "hello" to them feeling nervous which get the family even Fishboy to be surprised that it was Lexy who kidnaped Demolition Man.
Fishboy pointed and said."No way." Is that..."
Hero Cat finished his friend sentence. "Lexy."
Lexy feeling shy.
Hero Cat, Bunny Warlock, and Anais rush over to Lexy to hug her as they cry showing how much they truly missed her and thought that she was dead.
Lexy smiled. "It's okay guys. I'm okay. Sorry that I cause you a lot of trouble."
"The more importantly is that you're alive." Hero Cat cried.
"And we're never going to let you go." Anais cried.
"And I'll be a father." Bunny Warlock cried.
"Oh you guys." Lexy began to cry again.
The Watterson family cried together once more in happiness. Fishboy watches as he crossed his arms and smile to see a sweet family reunion.
As Dawn approach, everything work out fine. Lexy is alive and well, Trivion was sent back to the asylum again but they know it won't hold him for long but Demolition Woman swore that she'll find a way make him and find strong evidence to receive his punishment by the courts. But unfortunately, Lexy is planning to leave the family.
"What?! You're leaving?! But why? We were going to be a family."
"Sorry, dad. But after years of being mad for so long and experience a long time of trauma by the hand of Trivion, I need some time alone and find some help for me." Lexy said getting on her motorcycle.
"Oh man, and we got so much to catch up." Hero Cat said feeling sad.
Lexy smiled and pat him on the back. "Don't feel sad, Gumball. I won't be gone forever. When I return, we finally catch up our game that we still haven't finish."
Hero Cat chuckles. "Looking forward to that."
Demolition Woman gave Lexy a communicator.
"If you're in trouble, just call, okay?"
"Will do mom." Lexy smiled.
Lexy says her goodbyes to her family and drove off with her motorcycle.
"Where did she even get a motorcycle?" Anais asked.
Demolition Woman deflect Anais questioned. "I'm so happy that Lexy is alive."
"Same here. Looks like everything turn out to be better than I expected." Bunny Warlock smiled.
"You said it dad." Hero Cat smiled.
Fishboy added. "Yeah a happy ending with nothing bad hap-"
Suddenly, Fishboy got shot in the head by a snipper, who was hired by Clare and Mix, and fall to the ground dead. The sappy happy ending music abruptly, ends, the Wattersons stares in both silence and shock as Fishboy bleeds out.
Suddenly, Granny Jojo arrived when she learn that Lexy is alive as she quickly got off the bus.
"Is it true?! Lexy is alive! Where is my granddaughter?!" She then notices her family are still in silent and shock with a confused look on her face. "Did I missed something?"
A/N: After a long, long, long, long, long, long, long hitaus. We are finally back with Hero Cat. And yes the opening segment of Hero Cat and Fishboy was true. I unfortunately was going to quietly cancel the first as I lost interest, but after re-watching Gumball and seeing how much superheroes fell into decline, this got me in the mood to reactive Hero Cat...that end it on a cliffhanger. But don't worry, next chapter will be in next month which will be Season 2. In the meantime, check out the previous chapters before reaching the season 1 finale and until then, see ya.
