Summary/disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Spark of Force. Enjoy the 3400-word story. I don't own Star Wars, Disney and a few others do.

The Nu-Class Attack shuttle touched down upon the moon of Dromund Kaas. Mace and the group of Jedi could still feel the anchors of the Dark Side here… Mace wasn't stupid, centuries before, this moon had been something odd, now? it felt as if it had been tainted by the Dark Side.

Mace led the group of Jedi down the ramp, keeping one hand on his lightsaber as he did so. The half-dozen Jedi Knights flanked him as did the squad of clones that followed them. They were all prepared for the worst if said came.

"I sense… Something." One of the Jedi Knights stated. "Powerful. Master Windu? Wasn't this place a former Dark Side world?" He asked which wasn't wrong.

This place stank of the Dark Side. It was a wound in the force. Mace was not stupid, everything in this place was formerly tainted by the Sith Emperor which meant that this place was something else. It was where the force died. It was where all of it came to a crashing end.

He didn't know what was to happen next, only that this place held what he needed and they had to find it.

"Master Koon? Take your strike team and find the other force signature, I will take mine and secure the other one." Mace ordered as he pondered what else was to happen next.

They had something else to have done. A lot more danger lurked here… Yet? If he was honest? This place sapped the force from him even as he spoke. There was more to have done, a lot more to have focused on for now. This wasn't to be fun, it'd not yet be the way that he wanted.

The Jedi and clones moved into the jungles of the former planet. This place sapped the strength from their bones at the time. This didn't help, but it did help them when it came down to it. There was little time to mourn the losses and so much more to have to do. This wasn't to have been fun, a lot more to have questioned for now.

Mace sensed something, whatever he felt within the force was massive species, something that made him quite curious, something that had made him question for now…

What was here? He heard rumors, but it was just that. There was little to nothing to have handled these rumors and he didn't know if they were true, there was only one way to have confirmed them, and if he was honest? The fact the republic's government had taken an interest in this planet worried him. This place was a nightmare better lost to time, the only time he could find it to be something for now. He didn't know what else was going to have been done for now. He didn't know what else was coming.

The Jedi found his armor to be heavy, unsure, and uncertain of what to focus on as of now. There was a lot more to handle this was all going to change as of now. This was to be something else, something worse… Something beyond what he was for now. This wasn't going to have ended it for now.

They marched forward into the former city. Corrupted buildings and shattered ships from centuries past greeted them, but they didn't at all tell them much. The planet, its beasts? All of it seeped into them as they walked through this place…

Its twisted workers called to them, its foundations reeked of the dark side. It had been tainted down to the bone of their skin.

It was as they passed closer that the stink of the force signature settled across the Jedi… It was something that cut and sunk into them. There was a lot here from times long past and it hurt to walk through it all at the end of the day. This was going to be something for the history books when they left this place.

"I can feel… Something, it's strong, Master Windu." One of the Jedi stated as he and the others drew closer.

"And I know that… Revan and his apprentice were some of the strongest in the force." Mace stated to which there was a few seconds of silence.

"Are the legends of them both true, Master Windu?" The Jedi questioned to which they closed their eyes, trying to feel the force signature as it came down to it.

The strike team split in half for the time being. they had more ground to cover, a lot more ground. They had an entire planet to check and the less time they spent looking? Well, there was the best they could have done for now. It was only as time passed them by did they slowly pass the tombs and entered the place they had come here to find. A place that belonged to them.

There was nothing more here besides hate and chaos. There was nothing here besides monsters and whatever else came with it. They didn't know what lurked there, but they did know it was horrible, chaotic, and beyond control.

Plo looked at the Jedi who stood next to him. there were many new faces and he didn't know how much they could do against a Jedi or Sith of Revan. His power and legend rivaled the best of them. He was a master of what to happen when they found him, his views split the Jedi in half and he seemed as if he and his apprentice could be a problem for them sooner or later.

Mace and his team split off, marching into the darkness as the Jedi led by Plo Koon stepped into the tomb where Revan's apprentice was appearing to have been.

The Republic barely knows about Meetra compared to Revan. They knew she was a Jedi Knight, they knew she was Revan's best general, and they knew she was almost as skilled and gifted as her.

This would be interesting, they knew that much. The clones spread out, sweeping their rifles around the room as the Jedi stepped further into it, there's a lot more they didn't know, that didn't make sense, this was only going to end so badly given enough time and effort. They had to move or be killed and there was no moving anywhere else.

Still? there was so much more that could have been done for the moment, yet? This had to be done.

"Master Koon, there's a sarcophagus over there." One of the Jedi Knights stated before they pointed their lightsaber over.

Plo finally took a look around the room in which they found themselves within. There were massively carved stone statues similar to the ones which had been upon the planet the Jedi called home. There were several dozen tombs that seemed to branch off from this one, possibly telling them exactly where they shant go.

It was as they approached the tomb, the massive metallic sarcophagus seemed to float, ancient sith carvings etched into it as they looked at it, entirely transfixed.

Then? Like any good tomb? That was exactly when the defenses kicked in. Plo Koon watched as laser turrets, ones from countless years past opened fire upon them as the Jedi began to deflect laser fire.

"I believe this is the correct tomb, Master Plo." One of the Jedi joked as Plo hummed, unsure of what to have said in response.

He knew there was less security here than with Revan. Why would the lord of the Sith, emperor of the galaxy possibly consider the apprentice of Revan to be as dangerous as the master himself? It boggled their minds, but it was what they expected from the planet where Revan had laid his head.

This place was as full of traps and things that wanted them dead. Shocking it was not, there was a lot more to have done when they finished here and managed to have gotten where they needed to without sufficient problem.

Plo disabled one gun with its fire before tearing another free from its moorings. There was too much upon which this could be done… And he had come too far for ancient Sith guns to stand before him and the council's prize.

He tore another free from its moorings and smashed it into the final gun, waiting more and more for this. Then? Came the metallic footfalls of droids that made Plo Koon sigh as he turned to the group of wolfpack clones.

"Commander. Let's get rid of these droids… I leave the job of extraction to you, Masters… Get her to the ship. We will speak there." Plo stated before he sighed, gripping his lightsaber and advancing forwards as he did so.

There was time for action and time for silence and well? He expected better of the Sith than battle droids, maybe that was where Dooku had gotten the idea from. It wouldn't have surprised him at all.

The other 3 Jedi turned and started to surround the Sarcophagus which held their quarry. They didn't know if it was smarter to lift it with the force, fearing possibly an explosive or some sort of trick. This was to be something of a nightmare. He didn't know what else was coming… This was something else.

"Um… How are we supposed to open this?" One of the Jedi questioned with a raised eyebrow, unsure of what to do about this.

"We carry it the way Master Koon said to the ship. Remember the orders, we get there? We leave, nothing more and nothing less." One of the Jedi stated to which there was a sound.

Blaster fire made them turn, their hands on their lightsabers. They had to be faster and adapt better. This couldn't end with them retreating, they had to get back to the shuttle, and they had to escape. They had to be free from this place lest it became their tomb.

"It isn't going to budge, we need to look for an access code… Or a power supply." One of the Jedi said before they looked at the writing etched on the wall.

"Or we can just go where the glowly power box is and break that?" One of the Jedi suggested before he leaped the railing. Looked over at the edge and around the room.

They knew the traps were more here than before. This had to be over with, they had to focus on them. He didn't know what else was going to be able for now. This was a nightmare was a lot more to question for the time to act and that time was not when he was allowed to relax.

Still? they had traps to focus on or they'd not be getting off this planet anytime soon. The sooner the trap was ripped apart? The sooner they could leave with the two and make sure the Sith didn't gain a pair of powerful warriors. It was all in a day's work for them, or it would be if they managed to get so far. He had a feeling that wasn't going to have been easy. This wouldn't have come down to it anytime soon. This was something else, it'd be fun if not for the nightmares springing up around them as they did so and making them sigh.

The trio of Jedi slowly started to trace the power source towards its holder so they could escape. They didn't know who was inside, but they did know for a fact that by the power signature within the force she let off? She was either far more powerful than them, or they were just around someone who had eclipsed her.

Then again? The Jedi supposed nothing was as simple as the Sith willed it to be and this infernal jest and sadism was just part of them being themselves. It made them sigh, but it was still something as of now. This was far too much at the moment.

But? They had a mission to do. One which was far more dangerous and powerful than ever. This was a nightmare and one which could be a problem… It could be if they didn't have the training to have seen this through… Then again? This was a nightmare, one which could be properly focused upon and handled… And all it would take is sometimes.

(With Mace)

Mace stepped over the last of the broken droids that kept him from the chamber he and the others had discovered. Some machines would not keep him from this, nor would they stop him for a longer time.

No. They had come here for a purpose, one which could shatter the Jedi Order and the Republic. Some machine soldiers were nothing compared to what Revan and his apprentice could do if they fell into the hands of the Sith.

Mace looked upon the device, one which housed the man they had crossed stars to reach. This was the thing that could split the Jedi in two? It looked as garish and overblown as the Sith probably intended it to. Their insane machinations were something the Jedi master found to be ridiculous and droll at the same time.

But he could feel Revan's power, he could feel his strength. This man was charismatic enough to decide on the Jedi or lead them to a new era. He was stronger than almost any of the council… He might even match Skywalker in terms of power. There was a lot he'd ask the man when they woke him up.

But unlike his apprentice, the Jedi were given the ability to wake up if they believed it was a good idea… Revan was a possible problem. The man belonged to neither the light nor the dark when it came down to it.

Mace was a lot more focused before now, sure of their problems. This was a lot more to do. He hummed, questioning what to do before now.

Revan looked as if he was asleep. The state of suspended animation almost made him look asleep. There was more to this.

He questioned what else was happening as he looked around as questioned what else to happen when it came to this.

"Master Koon? We're taking Revan back to the ship. We're be taking him back to Coruscant." Mace stated before he sighed while he tilted his head.

There were a lot more moments before he questioned what else this was to be something before now. He was tired. This was something else, a nightmare. He didn't at all know what to question before now.

(With Plo Koon and his team)

Plo Koon turned and then cut down one of the Sith droids before he rolled his eyes… Still? He was too unsure of what else was coming, what else this day would have brought? He wasn't sure. This nightmare was going to consume them all for now. He didn't know what else would go wrong.

He sighed, rubbing at his temples before he turned and cut one of the Sith Droids in half, flinging the rest of the wreckage into the wall. These droids were no match for him, but he didn't entirely expect them to be a problem.

There was an explosion as the lights in the tomb went off, the power dying as well. He was cut off by one of the Clones looking at him.

"Master Plo? The power generator blew. We had to take it out to try and get the tomb out…We're going to try taking the body out for now." One of the Jedi stated before another explosion rocked the entire room.

He sighed, unsure of what would be happening. This felt as if there were more details than it had been done…. He knew the Exile and her master would turn the tide of the war if push came to shove. He didn't know what to have expected from the exile. The nightmare was just beginning for the time being as of now.

Then again? This was a puzzle inside of a mystery for them, one which didn't reveal itself so easily… No. it had to be different or else.

One of the Jedi removed the stone lid slowly, glowing circuits and tubes feeding bacta and all manner of material into it. They heard a hiss as the thing slid up and off its hinges, crashing to the ground and crumbling to dust as it came down to it. He sighed, unsure of what else was coming next and how they could stop it.

The Jedi crowded around the spot as they looked into the object, glancing down with interest as they pondered whom they were looking at, and who was to be inside the object. It was who would either help save the Republic or destroy it down to nothing at the end of the day. They were all terrified of what could happen if they weren't at all caring enough to mind themselves.

One of the Jedi looked into the pod and was greeted by a woman who looked barely older than most knights with long blonde hair. She looked at least in her 20s for then and it seemed as if she was still preserved as if she were years ago by the looks were right. Then again? He didn't exactly know what she was like or whom she was before now and she looked as if she was a ghost at this point. Her skin was coated in whatever material the Sith had used to force her into suspended animation, but they could see the white Jedi robes as clear as day.

One of the Jedi, a man with Brunette hair and piercing blue eyes slowly reached into the box and lifted the woman, gripping the woman before slowly lifting her up and out. He held the woman in his arms before they slowly started to walk towards the ship.

"Master Plo, we got her!" One of the Jedi yelled as more gunfire drowned out their words. "We need to get back to the ship, now, Master Wesset? We need to heal her back at the ship, she could be in suspended animation for a longer time than we can think about the next move." The other Jedi, a female with long blonde hair said.

Wesset said nothing as he leaped down before rushing as fast as his legs could carry him, the other Jedi followed behind them. They had a job to get done and Master Plo Koon was well aware of what the stakes were when they had come to this planet.

Then again? It had been something that they didn't know when it came down to it.

They kept moving, knowing the Jedi Master and his clone trooper soldiers would meet them at the ship, that was always the plan when it was all said and done. They had the thing they needed and they'd be able to focus more when they get aboard the ship and left. The Jedi had what they had come for anyway.

Plo gave them a nod through the smoke and pushed another group of the droids back, their screeches, unlike anything that had been made in their era. One of the 3 looked at the Jedi Master who simply nodded at them. There were a lot worse things to be around…. But Korriban and Dromund Kaas? Well, it was a nightmare, a living wound in the light side of the force.

If they were off it sooner? The better, they couldn't waste a minute, they could feel it corrupting them, slaughtering their souls, feeling like it was seeping in like ice cold water.

All Wesset focused upon was the woman in his arms, the one who has been the exile, the one whom legends spoke of as a monster or a savior.
