Summary/disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Spark of force. Enjoy the 3000-word story. I don't own Star Wars, Disney and a few others do.
Plo looked back at Wesset. The man held Meetra in his arms, unsure of what to do about the woman in his arms as he looked back at the others, unsure of what to do next.
"It seems Revan had a lot more security than his apprentice. Interesting…" Plo said to which he looked around. "Master Wesset? If you'd please? Put her on the ship and we get going… I will talk to Master Windu and make sure that we're allowed to get going." Mace stated before he hummed, unsure of what to have to do next.
Wesset slowly yet surely started to walk up and into the shuttle's bay. The woman still hadn't yet stirred which bothered the Jedi Knight, but he had a lot more on his mind than such a small thing.
The other two Jedi joined him, marching up with heavy footfalls behind the Jedi Knight. They had to get back at any rate. The sooner they were able to comfortably rest in their chambers on Coruscant? The better and it wasn't as if they hadn't completed the mission. The game had to end sooner or later.
"This planet should be destroyed, it's all too wrong… It feels like it eats the light side from within you." One of the Jedi, a Bith stated to which Wesset looked at him, raising an eyebrow as he sat on the ground, gently placing Meetra on the ground.
He looked at the blonde-haired woman. He had heard so much about her, a great strategist, a skilled officer, and a powerful Jedi. The council feared and respected her and Revan all the same. It had been something that he had to focus upon.
Still? He felt he could feel something missing from her, something that didn't belong. The feeling felt as if it were a hole, one slowly yet surely eating her up, feasting upon every little morsel of pain and suffering inside of her.
"Master Plo? She's going to take a while to wake up. We're going to need the tech on Coruscant unless we get lucky." Wesset stated before he sighed, power growing over his hands as he did so.
There was a moment of silence, pondering what the Jedi would have done if she awoke. This was a new era. There was so much missing, so much had changed. He didn't know if she'd break down if she'd be allowed… He couldn't be allowed to let this go downwards towards the path he had ended. Yet, more was due. This was a nightmare, something that wasn't yet over… He was unable to get to the path he wanted… Still? he wasn't going to be able to focus on such things for now… No, he had to save her and protect her, then he could focus on such little things, this wasn't going to have been possible. He didn't know what else was going to be able to relax, to let the panic inside him spill outwards. No, that couldn't be allowed to escape and panic others.
He was to be one with the force and let it was yet beyond his reach as were most things.
He felt the force glow through his hands as he looked over at the woman in front of him. he wasn't sure of what to do next. This was a tiring thing before now. He didn't know if he could do much for now.
He was watching as Plot and his men entered and he slid into the seat. He wasn't sure of the intention; he wasn't sure if they'd ever manage to get over such things… Yet? To him? this mission was important.
"There's a republic cruiser on the way… General Windu said we are cleared for takeoff for now." Wesset heard as he looked over at Plo Koon whom it could have been for a time.
He didn't know what the future brought. The next Jedi was going to terrify him. He was just one Knight.
Then came a grasp of life. A short one, made him look down to see the Jedi starting to stir as her crystal blue eyes snapped open.
"Master Plo, she's waking up!" Wesset heard before he poured his energies into his healing. "Easy. You've been asleep for a very long time, whatever Sith Magics…" Wesset got out before there was a hand held up.
He and everyone aboard the shuttle floated as the woman used her other hand to push her to her feet. Wesset felt as if he was more weightless in his life.
"Where am I?" She asked as Wesset spoke before Plo.
"A republic shuttle on Dromond Kaas, me and a few Jedi rescued you from a Sith tomb," Wesset said before he sighed. "Another team of Jedi went to rescue your master from the tomb he was trapped in. We know he's alright from chatter… My name is Wesset, Jedi of the Grand Republic." Wesset stated as the girl slowly lowered them to the ground.
"Revan… Master Revan, Lord Scourge, the Emperor…" She said before Wesset shook his head.
"The Sith Empire has been dead for many years, Ms. Surik. That is why we were able to rescue you and your master." Plo stated before he hummed. "If things were different? We're able to explain things better when we are in orbit. Please, we wish to help you. If we wish you harm? Your body would be resting within the void now. Master Wesset wishes to heal you as do the republic medics." Plo stated as she took a seat back at the rear.
"Master Wesset, what is the extent of her injuries at the moment?" Wesset heard as he sat next to her, starting to heal her at the time. "Are her injuries as severe as they seemed to have been back then? She was stabbed through the spine, yes." Plo stated before he sighed before now.
He was a lot more to focus on before it came now to do next. He was too unsure before now. He was a lot more focused on the extent of her injuries.
Wesset closed his eyes and started to focus his energies back on healing her.
"No, actually I believe she and Revan actually might have protected one another. Their force powers were focused on healing one another…" Wesset stated before he sighed as he clicked his tongue.
"Her wound doesn't seem as fatal as it could have been, it merely subdued her," Wesset said while he touched a hand to her back.
"She's alive, but she's possibly handling some shock from being woken up after several centuries in suspended animation. I don't know, there might be Sith magic at work." Wesset stated before he rubbed at his temples, he wasn't exactly sure as of now.
Meetra turned, glancing at him as he focused on healing. Plo Koon turned on his comlink.
"Master Windu? Ms. Surik has awoken from her sleep. We don't know how long this could have gone…. Are we still clear to take her to the Triumphant?" Meetra heard as Wesset hummed, focusing as he looked around.
He was too unsure before he questioned what to do next. He wasn't going to be ok at the time. He wasn't going to have been ok for now.
Wesset hummed, he was too unsure of what to do next as of the time being. Wesset was going to be ok as of the time being, he wasn't going to be tilting his head, he questioned what else was going to have been over. He was all too thrown off by such things, focused more on his work than anything else. He could be bothered to handle it, but he was also bothered more and it was something yes. He wasn't sure for now.
Meetra looked around, glancing at him as he did. This was a lot more to focus upon, such things rarely seemed to work out, for now, such a thing as of the second before as of the time being.
"Revan, where is he? The Sith Emperor… He's come back." Meetra said before Wesset shook his head.
"Tenebrae has been dead for several centuries, cut down by a Jedi Knight and defeated later by several Sith and Jedi," Wesset said as he started to focus more and more and more as of now.
Wesset was silent before now. He didn't know what to do next, such a problem-focused more on her health than he wished to have figured out… It vexed him; truly did it bother him. him to the ends of this moral fiber, and yet? He could only ponder what else was in store for them, how badly this could go, how willingly she was able to focus upon before now, such an odd thing would have made him hum as he hummed before he focused on now.
He looked around, too unsure. Meetra hummed and let this sink in. There was too much knowledge flooding in, such things. There were far too many things to consider, to understand. Such things terrified her, yet they weren't that much of a thing to consider, such a thing as what to do next. He questioned before it was over for now.
She looked around at the others, making him think of what to question for now. He wasn't able to handle what such a nightmare would have brought and such little things when it was over before now, he was able to get it all done. It was all too odd for now as of the time.
"This… Isn't the age of the republic?" Meetra questioned to which Plo Koon hummed, too unsure, too thrown off by certain factors.
This bothered him, made him unsure, too thrown off, he was caught mostly off guard by such simple little things. Such things also bored him. yet? He was thrown off, too unsure, uncertain, and scared for the time being.
If the Sith were allowed to capture Revan? The sheer order of chaos and death that would follow would flood the galaxy with pain and suffering. Such things could not be allowed to get out of hand to such a degree.
"Wesset? Please stay with Ms. Surik. I am aware you are one of the order's proficient healers and I would be grateful if someone were to help her and Revan's recovery… Whenever Master Windu wishes to respond about Revan's fate." Plo Koon ordered before the comlink beeped.
"Master Plo? We are busy dealing with Revan's defenders, the Sith have amassed more weapons around him than possible." Mace stated before he sighed, too scared of what to do next.
"We have Ms. Surik within our care, Master Windu. We will be bringing her to the medics aboard my flagship for further care. We are alright to depart, yes? I will come back to assist you if need be." Plo stated as he rubbed at his temples
"We're fine, Master Plo. Get Master Surik back to the Triumphant, I'll bring Revan to the ship within an hour… if not, however? Then come get me." Mace stated as Wesset rolled his eyes.
"And I thought Master Skywalker could be a bit overzealous when it comes down to it," Wesset said before he sighed as of now.
"Master Wesset, Master Windu is very confident in his abilities," Plo stated to which there was nothing else as of the time being.
He was silent for a moment as he contemplated such a thing, there was a moment of silence as he wished to turn his full attention to the woman in front of them.
They had a lot more to do for now. He wasn't focused before now. This was a lot more focused on healing the woman could have done. Such a thing was maddening and it hurt. Yet? He was a lot more to question before it was over.
He was a lot more to handle and he knew this was only going to get worse and worse and worse given enough time and effort plunged into it.
Such a thing was beyond him and he wouldn't question it. Not yet at least. Not without a proper focus upon it and not without answers which would help. He didn't see them coming anytime soon which seemed as if it wouldn't damn well be ended the way she had wished.
Yet? He couldn't exactly find the first Jedi to find something odd about it. He just appeared to be the first one to speak up about such things.
He looked at Meetra who seemed to have been a lot more focused on little things. If anything? He was able to relax, able to focus, such little things rarely bothered her.
If he was honest? He was a bit worried about what she'd do. She was considered one of the strongest force users in the galaxy besides her master. Anything seemed possible considering the fact of the matter before he questioned it before now. It was such an odd thing, such something like that came again? Well, she'd be ready for it. She'd be ready for whatever it tossed at her. Yes, she was far too unwilling to surrender, but that just scared him more and more.
He was a lot more on his mind as he stopped, withdrawing to his seat as he did so. This day had been a lot of things, but surprisingly it wasn't. Such things rarely seemed to bother him, but whatever was coming? Well, it would be less than what he was used to, but still, more than he could seek to manage.
Yes, she supposed that he was worth a few questions. At the very least? It would give her time to plan and learn more, find if this was really the republic or just sith pretending to have been such things… She was honestly too unsure, too unfocused by such tricks.
"Master Wesset, I have a question. if you are Jedi, why come to Dromond Kaas?" Meetra questioned to which Wesset hummed, scratching at his nose as he did so.
"To save you and Master Revan. All I know is that the council allows us to know… Master Plo over there sits upon it. I only know as much about the Jedi as a mere Knight is allowed." Wesset stated as Plo spoke, priming the engines and lifting the craft.
"The Council believes you and Master Revan might be under attack by the Sith. We recently found you within the tomb and we believe someone may have leaked your location which means the Separatists may or may not wish to kill or recruit you." Plo stated before he started to type in commands "Me and Master Mace Windu of the Jedi council came here with a strike team composed of myself, 6 Jedi, and a platoon of clones to bring you back to Republic-controlled space. We are currently moving to one of the republic cruisers, Ms. Surik. There's very little reason to hate us, but I understand given your misgivings with that Jedi Council and how it may or may not be what you expected. I can assure you we are willing to answer any questions upon returning to the ship." Plo stated to which the others for now were quiet.
Such things had yet been a problem. He didn't know what was to have happened, not at all was this was over. He wasn't able to get the job done. He wasn't going to be able to focus more on what else was coming.
"What will happen when we reach the ship?" Meetra asked to which Wesset hummed.
"Hopefully Revan shows up and we can tell you," Wesset said to Meetra hummed.
"Revan was dead last I saw him," Meetra said before the comlink crackled to life.
"Master Revan, I don't…" Mace said before the comlink crackled to life before now.
"Meetra, are you alright?" Revan's voice sounded over the comlink.
"Revan?" Meetra questioned before the voice chuckled.
"Ah, so she does live," Revan stated before he continued to hum and speak. "Master Windu? Take me to her. We must speak about what to do next. Meetra? These Jedi claim to be from centuries in the future, if this is true? We have a new plan. Stay with your Jedi, I will come to you and we can discuss this aboard their ship." Revan stated before the comlink went dead.
There were a few looks as the Jedi all questioned what to do. His instructions were easy, but the words were less clear. Such a thing was unsure, they didn't know what to do with such things.
Yet? They knew enough. If they didn't wait? Well, none save the two would have been enough, any who may know what Revan plotted would have been. None of them knew such things. They had more reason to stay put and ponder what he'd do for such things. Their nightmares weren't over yet, but their sheer fear eclipsed it all… These things didn't simply end because someone was telling them to, it didn't end when someone told them to and it didn't end at all at this rate, there were too many variables and too little and too late for such things weren't going have.
This wasn't the trip they wanted anyway. Wesset muttered something that hadn't yet been decided, they had to either leave or let the man who could end the republic catch up to them. Choices he felt were stupid
"Guess we either wait or take of… Great choices, neither." Wesset muttered before he let out a sigh.
(Separatist controlled space.)
Dooku watched as at least 3 Lucrehulk class battleships entered hyperspace. He turned to the hologram of Darth Sidious who put the orders in. He bowed, watching from the throne room
"Soon, Darth Revan will be once more among the ranks of the Sith, master," Dooku said to which Sidious snorted.
He knew well enough that there were more fortunes for now. they had the proper problems
