Summary/disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Spark of force. Enjoy the 5500-word story. I don't own Star Wars, Disney and a few others do.
Meetra was greeted with blaster fire as the sounds of dozens of engines were heard. She looked outside to see machines, not quite unlike the assassin droids she had clashed with dozens of times… However? These machines seemed much cruder, stupider, and less intelligent as they stomped down the ramps of their ships.
"The separatists… Great." Wesset stated as he sighed, angered at this. "Master Windu, we should keep falling back," Wesset said before he sighed.
The group of clones looked at them. They were massively outnumbered and while they had reinforcements coming from the Triumphant? They were still utterly caught off guard by the level of droids.
Meetra was the first to speak up as she looked at the others, there was a few seconds of silence.
"We could take cover in one of the palaces. The Sith still set up a thousand defenses, no? They wouldn't hesitate to target the droids." Meetra suggested as the other Jedi all looked at her.
"She's got a point. There's bound to be laser turrets and ray shields inside the palace." Wesset stated before he nodded. "Master? The only way we're going to escape is to hold them off long enough for reinforcements to arrive and drive them off." Wesset stated before he sighed.
Plo looked at Meetra. The girl was still as smart a general as she had been before… He trusted her, knowing that her experience on battlefields still needed to be touched up.
"Very well. Commander Wolfe? Secure the front gate. We will barricade ourselves inside the emperor's palace." Plo ordered before he looked at Meetra. "Ms. Surik? I assume you may require assistance in retrieving a lightsaber? We brought a temporary one in case of danger ever struck or we wished to test your skills." Plo said before he tossed the cylinder to the woman.
She caught it and ignited it to be greeted by a brilliant blue blade as the woman snorted. She deactivated the weapon and turned to look
"Thank you… But we must still find Revan. They're after him as well." Meetra said before the three Jedi all shared looks at her.
(With Revan)
Revan glanced up through his mask, taking in the sight of Republic and Separatist fighters battling it out. He felt interested in their tactics as Mace stepped up behind him.
Revan and his apprentice were two of the most powerful force users in the galaxy. Mace questioned if they were equal to Anakin, but that was a question for another time.
"Master Revan, we need to leave, more of the droids will be coming and destroy it all," Mace said as the Jedi turned to look around, too unsure of what to have told his master.
Revan still fell silent, unsure of what to have done or would come to pass. He didn't know what they wanted of him, but he had theories. Such things were odd to him, oddly more than anything.
He checked his side to make sure that his lightsaber was still by his side, safely where it had been when all of it was over with.
"If they were truly wishing to have captured me, they'd have brought in a smaller team and used this as a diversion," Revan observed to which Mace blinked. "They are here for the planet's relics and us, they mean to kill you, capture me and Surik and bring back whatever Sith relics they find," Revan stated to which Mace frowned.
He knew Revan's legends enough to know the man was a military genius…. But to have worked out their goals and general plan within seconds? This man was more dangerous than he had been years ago.
Revan gripped Mace's comlink as he sighed, too unsure of how capable this Jedi was and how badly bringing him out of his cage could have gone.
"Meetra, where are you? The enemy has found us, the Jedi and I are still within the tombs. I suspect they're going to spread out their forces as they land." Revan asked before her voice came to the other end.
"We're headed into the palace, we're going to get the defenses online and hunker inside the throne room," Meetra stated before she spoke a few hushed words. "Master? I can confirm these are Jedi. One of them, Master Wesset is coming with me to confirm the defenses will be online. He says more reinforcements will be coming within an hour or such." Meetra stated to which Revan looked at Mace.
"You knew they'd have sent troops to come and capture us." Mace heard as he nodded. "Good. Meetra? Stay in the throne room, they want us both. We've split them up and conquered their forces." Mace stated to which there was a few seconds of silence.
(Meetra)
As they slowly started to set inside the palace? Meetra was given her first taste of these Separatist soldiers. Humanoid droids stood at least 1.93 meters and were armed with crude blaster rifles backed up with faceless machines, armed with twin blasters within their forearms. They opened fire at the Jedi who did their best to deflect and redirect it all as of now. They were truly interesting.
She turned and cut a droid in half, gripping its arm as she pulled the brilliant blue blade across the droid's torso before kicking it to the ground. Wesset stared at her only for a few seconds before he turned and smashed a chunk of stone into one of the metallic droids which clattered to the ground.
"There will be a lot more of them here, a lot more are coming." Meetra heard as she dragged the piece of droid along with her as he turned to try and question what she was doing.
"I've dealt with droids before, I believe I can find a weakness in them," Meetra said to which Wesset hummed, looking around before he sighed, tilting his head before he clicked his fingers before he said nothing as he clicked his fingers.
He pulled her inside as he clicked his fingers against one against another. He had a lot more to question her. He knew that she was rather interesting when it came down to it. They had a lot more to question before it came down to it.
He hadn't the proper focus at the time. Still? They had a lot more to question and a lot more to have understood before he seemed to question before it came down to it.
"Are you ok?" Meetra questioned as she started to deflect more and more gunfire.
"Somewhat, worried you might get hurt." Meetra heard from Wesset and nodded.
She had hoped that he questioned before it came down to it when all of this was over before the problems. Meetra stated before she seemed
She had a lot more to focus on down the road. He watched as she and he retreated with the rest of the Jedi and Clones. They had a plan and all of them knew that they had a plan, one of which they hadn't yet walked out before now. She didn't know what to have done next.
They had something that they seemed to question when it came down to it. There was a lot more on the mind to question such an idea when it came down to it.
She felt as if she was thrown off a lot more than she had been before. It was flooding all over her body when such things had been placed in her path. She'd be able to focus more on such a thing, all she needed for now. It was just more and more than it had been. It was so weird for now. So, so weird when push had come to shove and all was revealed. Such tactics had been odd for now.
This was worth more fun on her mind when it came down to it. All she needed was time and effort. She watched as Wesset slammed the heavy doors shut behind them with the force as one of the white armored soldiers smashed a panel next to it.
"They're not getting through any time soon, general." The soldier reported as Wesset shut the door behind her and deactivated his lightsaber. "Sir? We're posting up here, to see if we can set up a landing zone. This place is huge, it should have some sort of old landing zone." The soldier added as Wesset nodded.
"Yes, there's probably a secret escape tunnel or something. we can use it when we're done." Wesset said before Plo held up his hand.
"If that is indeed what we must do? Then we shall do it. Master Wesset? Please locate the weapon controls and activate the defenses with Ms. Surik. I will contact Master Windu and come up with a plan to get out of here alive." Plo ordered as he rubbed at his eyes, too unsure and uncertain of what to have done next.
Such a problem would have been odd, very odd… However? It was just business in their eyes, just business that could have been happening before now. Such things had been constantly seeping through the cracks in the armor around her. There was a lot more upon which she could have done… Far worse things could have come later anyway. She didn't know what was going on, but she did know that this was to be one for the history books.
"At once, Master Plo," Wesset said before he turned to look around as he turned to Meetra. "Show me the way. I'll do what I can, slicing computer systems is a bit out of my skillset for now." Wesset said before she turned and motioned towards one of the consoles inside the room for now.
He glanced around before he slowly followed the woman deeper into the room. They hadn't the proper communication as of now. They had more upon the mind when it was over. He hadn't the proper idea as he slowly started to have followed before he questioned and followed her deeper into his mind. He hadn't a lot more on his mind.
"There's a lot more to have gotten such a thing before now," Meetra questioned before she turned to look around as he questioned what to have done before it came down.
He hadn't the proper idea of what to have done. Such things eluded him and would continue to have done so beyond the vestiges of space and time. He hadn't the proper idea of what to have done something.
The two Jedi slowly started to have walked further into the room. He was too sure as of the time. He glanced around the palace as he and Meetra walked through it. this place was a bad omen. A very bad omen that he despised and found to have been far too horrible to have walked through. The scars this place left on one's mind were horrid, something he just couldn't have handled nor wished to have handled.
"How do you know the systems here?" Meetra heard from Wesset as he looked to himself before he glanced around.
"When I and Master Revan had come here to strike down the Sith Emperor? We had memorized systems in case there were any defenses we could turn against the man." Meetra said to which there was a nod.
There was a silence for a few moments as the two slowly glanced around the room. They had more to have done. A lot more which only helped him further his own goals. He hadn't the proper before he was over for now.
It was so odd and so off-putting that it had gotten them almost in trouble, it had almost cut them deep… However? They knew better than that; they knew much better when it came down to it. It had been so odd, so very odd, so weird that it scared them.
Such things had yet to cross their minds and they would continue to have crossed their minds… This wasn't going to have been something that had been possible for the time being. it was odd and odd.
Still? Such things were more than they could have borne. It was so weird.
They continued further and further into the place where it had been before. It was far more than this. It wasn't going to have gotten them as far and as horrid as it had seemed before now when all of this was said and done.
Such problems had been far beyond what they wished to have done and what they had dusted off for now. They didn't have something that hadn't yet gotten so far down their mind.
"Your curious a lot more than you have been when it was over for now," Wesset said as he sighed. "I believe you have questions. There are a lot more problems on the mind, isn't there." Wesset stated before he clicked his fingers on his side before, he questioned before all of this had been done and dusted.
He hadn't the proper idea before now. He didn't know what it was over. Meetra seemed to tilt her head before she drummed her fingers on her chin. She didn't know what else had been questioned and what to have done so for now.
"This era seems a lot different compared to this." Wesset heard from Meetra stated as he tilted his head before now.
"Are you going to go, ok?" Meetra seemed to have gotten to such a state.
Such things had made him want to scream, however. He paced himself, letting the breathing and all such manner of things wash over him. if he was to get atop this type of mind? Well, he'd not be angry. He'd simply have gotten it done and dusted.
"Maybe. I'm not sure." Wesset heard as he sighed. "There are many questions. I'm not sure if you're going to be able to answer them all, to begin with." Meetra stated to which Wesset hummed, rubbing at his chin.
"I can answer what I can, Master Surik. We're a lot more at odds with certain things." Wesset stated before he clicked his fingers against the wall as he did so.
"There's a lot more things I don't know if the Jedi can answer," Meetra said as Wesset shrugged.
"Won't know until you ask, you know. There's only so much you can do to get that off the plate, you know." Wesset stated before he cracked his fingers and handled them.
He hadn't a lot more on his mind. They had a lot more to have questioned before it came down to it.
"May I ask who the white armored soldiers are? They don't look like republic soldiers usually do. However? I believe I might have seen a holo of some similar white armored soldiers." Meetra said as Wesset nodded and looked around.
"Their clone troopers," Wesset stated. "Cloned soldiers who make up the bulk of the Republics' army. Why? I believe former soldiers within the Republic army had worn armor similar to them. Why do you ask?" Wesset stated so there was silence.
"Then it seems a lot of things had changed far more than I assumed it would have," Meetra said before they entered a larger thrown room. "Go check those switches there. It might be what I need." Meetra stated before she sighed as she glanced around before this was all over.
Wesset was a lot more curious about what the woman wanted. They were within a Sith palace and she had been so calm, so peaceful. He knew this woman had yet to have gotten a problem.
"It's odd getting such thing as it came down such a thing before he doesn't such a thing," Meetra stated before it came down to it.
Meetra seemed to have gotten off track as her fingers started to dance over the computer in front of her. This had been an odd thing for her to have gotten over. She looked at the data and cameras with a practiced eye which made her ponder what such a thing would have been.
"How likely do you think we're to get out of this, General?" Wesset questioned to which Meetra turned towards her. "You and Revan are military geniuses. I suspect that might have been a reason Master Plo and Windu set this mission up. I'm just happy to see both you and Master Revan are ok. I've had a thousand questions for both of you provided we don't die in this force-forsaken pit. I don't know what Master Plo or Windu want, only that they wanted us to have gotten to you before the Republic did or before Dooku and his armies did." Wesset said before he cracked his fingers.
"Then I suppose you can answer some questions in exchange for that?" Meetra questioned as her friend nodded.
"If it is within my power? I will. Which one of these controls do I need to press to have the guns come online?" Meetra heard to which she smiled.
There were a few seconds of silence as he tilted his head before he looked over at her. Her keystrokes were a lot faster and more precise than his as the two Jedi started to have worked. It was a hard thing to have started to have done.
It had been something that hadn't yet gotten such a thing. He was tired, he felt thrown off a lot worse than he had been before. It had a lot more to say when this was all said and done.
They had to be ready for anything. There's more here than had been said.
"We're going to get through this, there are a lot more problems when it came down to it." Meetra heard as she turned. "I have a question. if your mission was so vital? Why didn't you ask for help? The Sith Emperor from what I've heard was one of the most dangerous people in the galaxy." Wesset stated before Meetra chuckled.
"Because a larger team would have been found and killed. Trust me, all of us had our problems to deal with," Meetra said before she frowned, looking around the chamber as she typed.
"We had allies, ones which could have helped could have brought him down. However? I believe me and Revan agreed such allies would have been slaughtered if they came with us. They knew the risks." Meetra said before Wesset raised an eyebrow.
"As did you, Ms. Surik. We all know the risk of protecting people. The only thing that matters is what we're willing to do to save it." Wesset stated to which she was silent for a few moments of silence when all was said and done. "We both took oaths. I'm just going to guess you care more about ensuring it is done even if you have to hurt for that… Yes? That's why you didn't risk your friends." Wesset stated to which she smirked.
(With Revan)
Mace had seen dozens of warriors, dozens of Jedi who had held a lightsaber. They had cut through droids and people as if they were nothing.
However? All the rumors he heard about Revan were true. The man was a beast, a warrior of power and skill that rivaled the rest of the Jedi. There was a lot more to have unpacked…
However? Mace watched Revan's twin sabers, one purple and one a crimson red like the sith he had once been slowly starting to slice through at least a dozen B1s as he seemed to dance through the scrap metal soldiers, almost seeming to enjoy it as he rolled to the side, dicing up droids as he diced such a thing.
He hadn't a problem with such a thing. However? There were a lot more problems… Revan seemed to have gotten the swing of fighting yet.
He came to a stop, pressing his mask against his face before he sighed before he questioned what to have done for now. He didn't know what had happened next. He did know what this had been.
He tilted his head while he looked at Mace and put his lightsabers onto his belt. He rubbed at his temples before he clicked his tongue.
"Are you going to be, ok?" Mace questioned before Revan hummed while he questioned what it came down to it.
There were a lot more problems for Mace to have dealt with. The fact that his fellow Jedi weren't as powerful as Revan and her. They hadn't such a problem when all of it was over. They hadn't gotten to a peaceful spot in time… However? It hadn't been all decided. There was a lot more to have questioned before now. There was a lot more to have gotten to such a degree
"What? Are you expecting something less than what I am? I'm the Revan." Revan stated with amusement tainting his tone as he did so. "We should go. The others will be here soon enough and the more droids in question will be able to get up to us." Revan stated before he sighed, putting his weapons on his belt.
He hadn't yet gotten to a problem. There was a lot more to have questioned before it was all said and done…
All that he knew was that the man in front of them had been a lot more powerful than the legends had claimed him to have been. It made sense; he was one of the most powerful Jedi to have walked the galaxy. However? Such a thing seemed impossible for anyone who wasn't while it was a lot more question before now had been all over.
"Are you going to be alright, Master Revan?" Windu heard to which he sent a look over at the Jedi in question who had asked it. "Sorry, Master Revan is still something that I believe we should respect," Windu stated as he sighed.
(With Meetra and Wesset)
Meetra seemed to question what it had been over. This was a few seconds of silence before she watched as turbolasers began to shoot out from hidden panels. There was something else here, something that was a lot more dangerous before it questions.
She watched as several droid fighters were shot from the sky. There were several sparks of light as they exploded, crashing down to the ground. There was a lot more to do when they escaped out of here.
"We need to get out of here before more droids get here." Meetra heard from Wesset state as she tilted her head at him. "I'm going to question what they're doing here besides you. There were a lot more things that they could steal from us." Meetra seemed while they had been watching more Vulture Droids slowly to have fallen from the sky.
They all came down, crashing into the building, making it shake as they glanced around, making themselves curse. It hadn't yet seemed to have set in that such a thing had been all said and done.
"That's a lot more droids than I expected," Meetra said before she looked at Wesset, glancing up at the ceiling. "There are a few things I believe their handling for the time being," Meetra stated while she dusted off her Jedi robes, and looked up at the ceiling.
"Maybe we can discuss it when they're not trying to destroy the entire planet?" Wesset questioned as the woman smiled.
She chuckled to herself before she rubbed at her temples. There was something he needed to decide for now. It hadn't yet decided what had to be said and done. He had a lot worse problems when it was all over with.
There were a few problems when it was all over with. He sighed before now. There was more to this, a lot more worse things he could have done with all of it was said and done. He didn't know.
He didn't know what else had been said and done. He questioned before now. There were a lot worse things here, a lot worse than this. There was a monstrous thing that hadn't yet come to fruition. It just had to end sooner or later.
Such things only concerned him before he sighed as now. He was too interested before now. He knew a lot worse things than this, there was so much more on his mind. He had a lot worse things than this. He hadn't a lot more things.
He glanced around, too eager to get out of here… But alas, with one problem over? Another slowly took its place as painfully and as violently as possible. It cut so deep and so horrible that he felt it crossing all over his skin. He didn't know what this had been done, what was coming.
More droids surely started to flood the building which told him that something had been all too done and dusted. He hadn't been prepared for now. He had yet gotten unsure of what to focus upon.
He hadn't been prepared for when it came down to it. He wasn't going to get down to it. He didn't know what it was. He just didn't understand it. There were more problems on the horizon, always more, always something that had bothered him. it had been worse, far worse.
He looked over at Meetra. She looked more at peace than she had been before now. There was something more here than he had expected.
"We both know there will be more soldiers. The droids will be coming." Wesset stated before he shook his head. "There's a lot more people coming in to attack us. There was a lot more to this. Yet? Here you are acting like every single little thing is fine so I assume you have a plan." Wesset stated before he seemed to get a smirk on his face.
"Maybe, but that depends if you and the others are willing to go along with a rather risky plan," Meetra said before another voice cut them off.
"Hello, Master Jedi…" They heard before they saw a hooded man in front of them. "I hope I'm not too late for now. There was a lot more to have done to arrange this meeting. One which I do hope you mind the sudden appearance of." They heard as Wesset blinked.
"Count Dooku…." He said as he rested his hand on his weapon. "Meetra, he's as dangerous as he is cunning. I'd be on your guard around him." He said as the man laughed.
"Ah, nice, master Jedi…" He shrugged off his robe and cloak and extended his lightsaber and glanced at them.
He was flanked by shadows which slowly started to step into the room. Wesset knew what these machines were and he knew what they had been. He knew what else it'd have been for now. He knew what they had been…
'Magnaguards' Wesset mentally stated it before he seemed to have been questioned what it was a problem.
The droids, 4 in total, all extended their weapons towards them. It was a problem that he seemed to question as he did so. He prepared to have to fight them. These droids were between him and his path. He turned to Meetra who already had her blade extended towards them, looking at Dooku's extended red saber which lit up the rooms.
"Ms. Surik. I would suggest you drop your weapon. We mean you no harm." Dooku said before Meetra snorted at them.
"You're the Sith, Count. I don't want to have to kill you if I have to." Meetra said before she raised her weapon towards him. "And the last Sith I fought stabbed me in the back. So, there's that. I'm not going to let you kill me that easy." Meetra stated to which he sighed and glanced up at his droids.
"Kill the Jedi. I will handle our target." Meetra heard as the man raised his lightsaber towards her. "I really wouldn't have wished to make this painful, Ms. Surik. I was supposed to have gotten you back to my master in one piece. However? I believe a few scars will not be a problem." Meetra heard before she snorted.
"Wesset, get behind me. I'll deal with the count." Wesset heard as he ignited his lightsaber as the count laughed.
"Ah. I know you're a lot stronger than you appear, Ms. Surik. But this is not the time in which the Jedi have conquered the galaxy." Wesset heard as he raised his eyebrow.
"Kinda is for someone who uses an assassin to do his dirty work and only comes to fight us when he has the upper hand," Wesset said before he stepped forward. "Just like you have now with your little army," Wesset said before he clutched the weapon tighter in his hands as he did so.
He hadn't yet gotten where this had yet gotten where he should have, this problem was going to have been far worse than just a few droid warships. He knew more than the Count just how dangerous this all was said and done.
He didn't know what the Count would have done. He did know that he was terrified and this wasn't going to have helped. All he knew about it was that he had gotten out of hand and this would have had to have changed. Their problems would have fallen apart sooner or later. All of the time he had on his hands just made it seem worse and worse with each passing moment.
It all had all too easily gotten where he could have relaxed and found some amusement in such a thing. This place was good at just bringing that out of him, wasn't it?
She slammed into the man who slid back, thrown off by the fact that she had put so much effort into a single strike. Yes, this had become something of a game to the Sith Lord as he was turned back and managed to have thrown her back.
"Very good, Master Surik, you're as powerful as my master suspected. Good, I'm going to have been pleased to report to my master." Meetra heard before she forced him backward with a push of the force, throwing him to the side as the man beckoned his droids forwards.
Wesset rushed to reinforce him only for the Magnaguards to have already surrounded him. This had been a problem that hadn't yet reached it.
One of the droids slashed at him with his staff and came down to it. He slowly backed away with the droids prepared to have killed the Jedi. He was a lot more interested in what he had questioned to have been prepared.
(With Revan)
Revan left B1s and B2s in his wake. He was so interested, that he hadn't yet prepared for getting off this planet. He smirked, he prepared for the worst. Yet? The Jedi master who had been the strongest before Anakin was not consumed by the anger. No, he was mad. He was furious, that was correct. However? He had focused his rage on the droids, there were a lot more problems with this planet.
However? This had yet gotten out of hand. He glanced over at Mace who was shocked by the grace with which his sabers cut through droids as if they didn't exist. He was impressed to a degree that almost scared him.
If Dooku had gotten his hands on Revan before them? They'd all be dead. He'd have been unstoppable. The only problem he had with the fact that he had been so ruthless. It showed a lot more power when it came down to it than he expected it should have.
"We're not going to have made a dent anytime soon in their forces, are we? Your withholding information that we need for this to be decided properly, aren't you?" Revan said as he turned to look at them, he had been quiet for several seconds.
Yes, this had been something he didn't know. He didn't want to have gotten somewhere and then turned around to have been betrayed. No. It just couldn't end the way he wanted it to, not yet, and not here with all of this done with it all being.
There was a lot more.
Author notes
Phew. Another chapter is done! I want to point out that the next chapter will be in 2-10 months and will show Dooku vs Meetra and Revan and the others showing up to help and set up the rest of the plot. The next chapter will be 900-6500 words and such. Until then, Lighting Wolf!
P.S: Next story will be a bit longer when it seemed to have been for now
