Ah, je ne suis pas très aimable avec le vieux Dumby dans mon histoire, et Rogue va prendre cher aussi, mais après une bonne dose d'introspection, il va retrouver son intelligence.

This fanfic is strongly inspired in All The Young Dudes by Mskingbean89 on Ao3. I like to think of it as the same thing just that in Jily's universe and not as good writing, it might change a bit but the general tone remains. It's from after the 'mud blood' incident with Severus, on fifth year, to seventh year (no war chapters because ignorance is bliss).

In a AU where Severus Snape and Lily Evans never broke their friendship and Severus got civil with the marauders, Sirius comes up with a plan to annoy his parents. But he is in need of help from his long abandoned brother.

During the battle at the Ministry of Magic Harry was captured and he wasn't the only one. Seeing that the teen was used by the light and abused by his family Voldemort changes his plans. He also finds out that the teen is his horcrux. He puts his best followers as his guards. They fall for him.

Life goes on after the war, though not alway smoothly. Some chase world changing goals, some fight guilt and shame, while some others simply care for a peaceful family. Sorry, the summary does not give much informations, but I'm afraid of spoiling the plot. So I'd say, try the first chapter, see if it suits you, and then stay or leave. :)
