Jose and I fought hard, and the Walking Guild seemed to be crumbling around us. We had dealt a few good blows to each other, though my Magic seemed to be running down, his stores far outclassed my own, but I wouldn't back down. "My, what an unruly Dragon you have." Jose mused.

"Natsu may be reckless, but he's one of the most powerful wizards Fairy Tail has to offer, none of your guys could ever come close to him." I stated. "In fact, with a little more training, I'd say he could match even me one day."

"There's no need to be so modest, Eclipse Yui, your magic is just as spectacular as Salamanders. You're the first Wizard who's been able to last this long against me in battle. Truth be told, we'd be more equally matched in power if you hadn't used up all your energy to fight my Guild Members. You know what really irks me about Fairy Tail, the fact that there are so many powerful Wizards, like yourself, who align with Makarov." Jose lifted his hand and flicked at me. I raised my arms to block his spell, and felt a force hit my clawed arms which pushed me back a little. "Since you can't be tempted to join Phantom, there's only one way to change that. Kill you!" Jose started to shoot bullets of purple energy at me, which I dodged easily, flying around the room. "That'll send the old coot into a deep despair. Imagine how he'll feel when he awakens to find his dear Guild Hall destroyed and his 'children' dead and gone. He'd be lost, completely consumed by sorrow. Once he's been reduced to that miserable state, I can swoop in and kill him, but first I'll make him suffer. I'll torture him until he has no choice but to wither and die!"

"I won't let you do that!" I shouted, shooting towards Jose with a flaming foot. He phased out of the way and I landed where he was with a resounding crack of the stone breaking under my feet.

"As long as I can remember, Phantom Lord has always been at the top. We have the most powerful Wizards with the strongest spells, we also have more capital and more members than any other Guild. However, recently, Fairy Tail has begun to catch up and our position as leader is in jeopardy. The names Erza, Laxus and Mystogan became widely known, and stories of Salamanders and Eclipses spread across the land like wildfire. Now, Phantom Lord and Fairy Tail are considered equals! The top two Guilds representing this Kingdom." Jose scoffed. "The thought disgusts me. I refused to be equated to such a feeble Guild!"

"Shut up!" I roared, flying towards Jose again, my claws ignited with silver flames. "Everyone is fighting for their lives, the lives of our friends, so you can settle a score?! You let your jealousy take you over!"

"Jealousy? That's absurd! We simply wanted to prove to the Kingdom that we are the dominant Guild."

"If you were, then you wouldn't have attacked us, you wouldn't have taken Lucy!" I continued to attack Jose, managing to get a few good hits in. He managed to one-up me though, and knock me back, wrapping me in some of his purple shades. Before I could do anything, though, they started to electrocute me, the lightning coursing through my veins.

"While I've never been particularly fond of your Guild, my distaste for you is not what triggered this War. We were hired by the patriarch of the Hartfilia Family to find his missing daughter. The child of one of the Kingdom's wealthiest men is now in Fairy Tail. So Makarov's trying to buy his way to the top, isn't he!?" Jose sent another bolt of electricity through me, causing me to scream in pain. "Now that your Guild has unfettered access to the Heartfilia Famuly fortune, it's only a matter of time before that happens. That is, if we don't completely wipe you out first!" I grinned, realising that Jose didn't have the whole picture.

"You know, it's funny." I grit out. "You're so concerned with something as benign as your Guild's ranking in the kingdom. But what I find hilarious is how misinformed you are about our Lucy!"

"What!?"

"I found Lucy in Hargeon, she was a runaway! She had no access to her family's money! We didn't know who she was until this morning! She rents a home for seventy-thousand jewel a month! She takes jobs and works hard to make a living for herself! She fights with us! She cries our tears! She joins in our laughter! She's just like everyone else in our Guild! She loves us and we love her! And she's the reason you started a War with us!? She may have been born to the Heartfilia family, but people don't choose their parents! You know nothing about Lucy of Fairy Tail!" I roared.

"Well, I'll find out soon enough!" Jose said. "I'm not going to hand her over to her father without reaping a benefit of some sort. I'll make her my prisoner until her father meets my demands. I'm going to beat the Heartfilia Family of their fortune and their precious money-making business!"

"Screw you, you bastard!"

"I wouldn't keep struggling like that if I were you." Jose advised, summoning two more of his creatures. "It's going to make this more painful!" I suddenly felt something ripping out of my body, as if my very soul was about to be separated. "You're not feeling very well, are you dear? You're going to have to buck up because it's almost time! I want you to make an appearance before your peers. Once they see their beloved Yui in such a pitiful state, they're sure to surrender to us!"

"You're a horrible man!" I managed to get out, but my eyesight was becoming fuzzy.

"Now, now, insulting me like that isn't going to help your situation." I heard a faint roar. "What the hell is that?" Light spilled from behind me, and I felt my wounds being healed. I opened my eyes as Jose's creatures faded and I was lowered to the ground. I looked behind me, and tears formed in my eyes.

"Master." I sobbed.

"You have shed the blood of our children." Master Makarov snarled. 'And that is unforgivable. They have been made to suffer because of the incompetence of their parents. We are both to blame Jose. This war between us has gone on long enough. Let's end this, here and now!" Jose opened his eyes, only to reveal black pits with beady yellow iris'.

"If we fight, it could create a catastrophe." Jose stated, debris floating around him. Master Makarov lifted a single finger that shone with a bright light.

"In order to save my Guild I will gladly take that risk!" The magical pressure between both Guild masters was intense, whipping my hair back and forth around me. Jose attacked, but Master Makarov created shields to stop them in their tracks. "You need to get out while you can!"

"If I do, Master, I ask you one thing…" I started, pushing myself to my feet. "Kick his ass for me…he hurt my Erza."

"I will do my best, my child." Master Makarov said, turning to me. I gave him a gentle smile.

"Thank you." I spread my wings and turned, flying out of the hole in the Guild. I managed to get out of the Guild just a bright light exploded from the Main Hall. I brought my arms up to block my face as the spell washed over me…and then the light died down. I felt calm, and tears fell down my cheeks. We had done it, we had beat Phantom.

"Yui!" A voice called. I turned and saw Erza, grinning up at me from in front of the Guild Hall. More tears escaped my eyes as I flew down to her, collecting my Mate in my arms. My Dragon Force faded from my body, leaving me exhausted. I almost collapsed in Erza's arms, sobbing happily. "I'm ok." Erza assured.

"You're ok." I repeated, holding her close. "You're ok." We all turned when Master Makarov appeared on top of the fallen Phantom Guild Hall.

"We are victorious!" He declared. "But I had very little to do with it. This victory is yours, my children!" And with that, Fairy Tail erupted into celebratory cheers. We had done it.
