"I am the Messenger of the Order- "Lupin!"
The creature announced to the two teens. Kira looked down to see that she was now wearing a white cape, a short white skirt with a light gray corset decorated with light gray lace around her breasts, sleeves and around the skirt, and underneath the skirt she was wearing white tights and knee high white boots and blood red gloves. "What the…" Sakamoto sputtered before gawking at the sight in front of him.
"I am the rebel's soul that resides within you. If you so desire, I shall consider granting you the power to break through this crisis."
She explained to Kira who nodded, and said to Lupin "I don't want to die." She pleaded.
"Very well, Please use it sparingly."
Amongst all of the chaos that had taken place over the last few minutes, the two of them had completely forgotten about the fake Kamoshida. It was only when he spoke up that they remembered the situation they were in. "Who the hell are you!?" He demanded "Guards! Start by killing that one!" He ordered the two guards while pointing towards Kira who was still trying to comprehend what just happened.
The guards seemed to levitate for a second before red and black ooze exploded from the armored bodies before transforming into two pumpkin headed spectors. "You'll learn the true strength of my men!" The false Kamoshida shouted
Behind Kira stood Lupin.
"This power of mine is yours! Kill them however you please but try to be tactful."
She said before fading into Kira's mask. Somehow Kira knew that her new companion was still there, just waiting to be called into combat. "Persona!" As soon as those words left her lips the mask that she was wearing disappeared and Lupin appeared behind her again ready and willing to fight for Kira.
"Destroy them" Kira commanded before Lupin summoned an orb of light out of nowhere that spiraled down and hit one of the pumpkin headed enemies causing it to evaporate into a small black cloud of smoke before Lupin retreated into Kira's mask.
"That attack was a Kouha, it's one of many moves I can use, but at the moment I don't have anything besides that attack yet, I will learn more as time progresses." Lupin said to Kira as she nestled back into her spot in the girl's mind. The remaining pumpkin headed specter attacked her, but for some strange reason it didn't hurt her as much as she expected. Kira then thought about how useful it would be to have a weapon, suddenly she felt a light weight in her left hand.
She brought her hand up to her face to see that she was now holding a knife in her hand before thinking to herself (Where did this knife come from?) only to be interrupted by Lupin's voice from somewhere within her psyche. "I provided you with a weapon, use it however you wish."
(Thanks Lupin! I appreciate it!) She thought to herself, causing Lupin to respond. "You're welcome my dear." Kira had a strange feeling that they would get along fairly well. Using the knife that was provided by her new companion, she then sliced the remaining enemy before being attacked again.
Finally after another round of attacks from Kira, the enemy vanished exactly like the one slain before it, except this time some yen fell to the ground and Kira felt slightly stronger than before the battle. "What…What was that just now?" A confused Sakamoto managed to ask Kira who was now looking down at her new costume before a fuming Kamoshida approached her.
"You little…" He started to say before Sakamoto stood up and body chucked him to the ground "Ha! You like that, you son of a bitch!?" Sakamoto yelled at the doppelgänger before Kira realized something. "He dropped the Key! We can lock him in the cell!" She told Sakamoto.
He looked to the ground to find a key ring with multiple keys attached to it. "Y-You mean this!?" He asked frantically before grabbing them and running outside of the cell. Once they weren't in the cell anymore Sakamoto turned around and locked the door with a 'click' before turning to Kira.
"Okay, it's locked!" He exclaimed before Kamoshida stood up. "Damn you!" He grumbled before approaching the bars. Kira quickly turned her attention back towards Sakamoto. "Hey! What was that just now!?" He demanded before continuing. "And…your clothes…" he said before Kira suddenly felt her costume disappearing and being left with the Shujin uniform.
"Whoa, it went back to normal!?" He said after her costume was completely gone. Suddenly the doppelgänger started to rattle at the cell door, startling the two teens out of their confusion.
"You bastards!" He yelled towards the two of them before Sakamoto put a hand to his face. "God, this is effin' nuts!" He said before turning towards Kira. "Anyways, let's scram! You lead the way!" He said before chucking the keys into the river and running away.
"Goddamn thieves…" Kamoshida muttered to himself before continuing. "After them! Don't let them escape!" He ordered.
