Lazlo returned to Jelly Bean Cabin, laying on his bed. He was still thinking about what to do concerning Patsy, Andy made a solid point. The Monkey could not just string her along, and openly returning her feelings was off the table. he laid there, relaxing as his body went limp.

Lazlo tended to phase out of body when he needed to think or be by himself. He floated out of the cabin, heading through the camp to his special spot, the peak where he usually went to clear his mind. Making his way around the camp he noticed Raj and Clam; they were playing another round of cards outside.

Stephanie and Andy were working on the Bean Can. meaning the Tiger was handing him tools and Stephanie was doing most of the most, checking the injector.

"You're really sure this will work?" Andy asked handing the wolf a rag as Stephanie wiped her hands, telling Andy not to doubt her. The two kept working as they heard a cough. The two turned seeing Amber for Tree Squirrel, standing before them.

Lazlo was a bit surprised to see her as Andy turned to the rabbit explaining that Tusk was busy and unable to hang out, as he was helping Mcmuesli wash dishes. Amber nodded, explaining that she was actually there for Steven, handing the wolf a card as the wolf gently took it, opening it.

"Are you serious?" Stephanine asked, reading the card, which was from Suzie, asking him to meet up with her tonight despite him telling her constantly that she wasn't interested in the poodle. Amber could tell that Steven was not interested in the poodle. asking if he could just meet up with her.

Amber explained that she had never seen Suzie this determined about anything and if he could just humor the Poodle and meet up with her. Stephanie was against the idea of leading her on as Amber rephrased it as giving Suzie a chance.

"She's actually really sweet, just a little stubborn, she's not used to be rejected" Amber added as Stephanie looked at her, asking if she felt the wolf was obligated to go out with her. Amber denied this but would like it if Steven just gave her a chance. Stephanie denied this.

"Maybe I should go and tell her that I'm not interested" Stephanie decided as she wasn't going to let Amber tell Suzie on her behalf. Lazlo decided to leave as his goal was to clear his mind, not think about Steven's love life. Eventually The Monkey made it up to the peak. There he rested, trying to figure out things out. he could not keep leading Patsy on and had to make a choice.

He took a while pondering on his thoughts, trying to figure out how he felt. The first time he thought he might feel something for her was the Pinecone Sitting contest, but he always chalked it up to heatstroke, as he was sitting under the hot summer sun and the pain of pinecones jamming his rear did not help and led to his hallucinations. Lazlo sat there pondering what to do before coming to the realization that maybe he did like her.

Lazlo pondered as he floated alone on the peak, he knew he could not 'be with Patsy' and concluded the best thing to do would be to break it off with the Mongoose, well Reject her as they weren't officially together. it would be painful as he did not want to hurt her feelings but felt it would be for the best.

Lazlo could have got up from his bed but decided to remain on the peak, he and Patsy agreed to meet up there in the evenings and he wanted to get it over with. He took no pleasure in doing it but realized it had to be done. At must it was a summer crush and after Camp ended, they would return home and probably never see each other again.

Despite this he did have feel feelings for her but felt this would be the right choice in the long run as he decided to wait, eventually an hour or two passed as the monkey felt a pair of arms wrap around him from behind.

"Olá Lazlo" he heard concluding that Patsy had been practicing her Portuguese to which see nodded, explaining that she got some books to read in her spare time. Lazlo was impressed by her accent, it wasn't natural sounding yet, but it was decent as he requested, she say some something else as she giggled. "Como está meu macaco favorito hoje?".

Lazlo blushed as he reminded himself he had to break it off. he looked at Patsy, prepared to end it despite not wanting to... It was something he had to do. Lazlo looked at the Mongoose, hoping she took it well as he told her.

"Patsy, I think we should talk about the whole 'us' thing" Lazlo pointed out wanting to get it over with, hoping she would take it well as before telling her that it would not work out for them in the long term. "It's better we break it off now than I string you along and give you false hope".

Patsy looked at the monkey, asking if he was being serious, Patsy believed that Lazlo know how much she felt for him and was hoping he was just kidding but Lazlo told her he was serious. "Between the camp rivalry, our status of head scouts, our friends and your father. It would not work out for us" Lazlo admitted, adding that he actually did return her feelings.

This was not painless for him as he wanted to be with her too, after discovering his feeling towards her but accepted the reality that it was not likely for them to be together. Though it hurt she did understand it and it really did hurt, like Lazlo just slammed his hand into her chest and pulled her heart right out.

"That being said, I don't want any sour feelings between us, you're a great friend Patsy and I really value that. I would really apricate it if we could be on good terms with each other" Lazlo requested as she nodded. after the rejection the two interacted as normal, Lazlo teaching her his language, them comparing stories around camp, them floating on their backs, looking up at the stars.

Patsy admitted that if she was being honest, she could not hold it against Lazlo, seeing that it hurt him as well, and they agreed to still be friends. Patsy still had her massive crush and it hurt to be rejected but she managed to hold herself together.

"Lazlo before we leave, can I please just" Patsy fumbled as Lazlo looked at her, confiding that she could say whatever she wanted and he would not judge her as she gathered her bearings, admitting she wanted this to end on a good note. "Could I have ONE kiss?"

Patsy explained if this was the closing chapter on their relationship, she wanted it to be pleasant. Lazlo was on the fence, but he owed her at least that plus, they were out of body so there was no way anyone could find out. Lazlo agreed to kiss Patsy but swore her to secrecy about it, no one could know. To which she agreed. The two leaned in, pressing their lips together in what could only be described as magical. if felt unexplainable.

Patsy had waited so long to lock lips with the monkey as they both treasured the euphoric moment.

In the woods Stephanie was following the map through the woods, holding a flashlight on it as he seemed to follow it, Stephanie could not believe she was actually doing this, but she needed to nip this Suzie problem in the bud before got bigger, despite this Stephanie did not want to break her heart, for what; just loving the wolf.

Stephanie knew the reason Suzie wanted to be with him was because the Poodle thought she was a boy so it would not work out between them, plus she was trying way too hard. Stephanie walked around the woods, her feet getting tired. she eventually saw lights in the distance, walking towards the source.

The lights were coming from an old building. Stephanie put the map in her pocket approaching the building. it was an abandoned shack, covered with graffiti. the most noticeable were the words 'Love Shack' panted in vibrant yellow bubble letters. Stephanie could not believe she was actually here. She approached the door, creaking it open as she entered. Inside the small shack was an old mattress a bunch of hearts carved into the wall with various names and initials carved in them. the walls were lined with a mass of melted wax and few of the candles lit.

"Ok Suzie, where are you" Stephanie called out, desperate to get this over as she felt a finger tapping on her shoulder. Stephanie turned to see Suzie. the wolf partially expected her to half naked, wearing fancy lingerie or more realistically a nightgown but no, the Poodle was wearing her Scouting uniform as she held out a basket.

"Sticky buns, I baked them myself, just for you" Suzie offered as Steven saw no harm in taking a bun, considering Camp Kidney's food. he held one of the buns, covered in a glaze, taking a bite. he claimed it tasted weird but was actually good as she giggled, hugged him.

"I'm glad you actually came Steven" she admitted as Stephanie stood still reminding herself, she was here to break it off, glancing at the poodle who in return was giving him lovestruck eyes, as the hug continued. "I knew you would come around".

Stephanie ducked away from Suzie as she leaned in to kiss her, flipping the Poodle onto the old mattress, a cloud of dust filling the room. Stephanie looked at Suzie telling the Poddle she was not there for romance, and that a relationship between them would not work out. Suzie sat on the mattress, realizing her seduction failed as she laid back. "Wow I'm pathetic"

Suzie admitted, she tried everything she could think off, candles, her watermelon perfume, baked goods, flirty behavior, none of it worked. Suzie tried to ponder why but remembered the rumor around Acorn flats about the wolf. "I Guess the rumors about you are true Steven".

The Talk of rumors made Stephanie jump as she looked at the Poodle, demanding an explanation on these 'rumors'. If Patsy went behind his back, Stephine was going to..., she did not know what she was going to do as Suzie explained the rumor, she heard from Rachel that Steven 'Played for the other team'. Stephanie felt some relief at the fact that her secret was still safe but was surprised by the fact that the squirrels thought she or 'he' was gay.

"Suzie, I'm not gay" Stephanie countered as she laid on the mattress not believing it herself but could not come up with an explanation. Stephanie felt bad about not being honest with Suzie but could not tell the poodle her secret. "It was actually pretty thoughtful of you do this, but the problem is you're too headstrong. I've told you I'm not interested but you keep perusing me" Stephanie commented as Suzie looked at her, apologizing.

"I'm sorry, it's just... My sister told me the trick to getting guys is to keep pursuing them" Suzie apologized, finally seeing how she was coming off, offering to make it up to the Wolf. Stephanie asked how she would do that.

"By dispelling the rumors that you're gay. as you know if this gets around you might get kicked out of the Bean Scouts, but if I tell the girls that you were into me it would cover you" Suzie explained her plan as She and Steven would pretend to be a thing. "And I still get to hang out with you".

Stephanie could tell that Suzie was offering this to save her own rep and technically have Steven as a boyfriend, but the Poodle was right, and Stephanie did not want to get booted from the scouts for this rumor. Stephanie agreed to be Suzie's mock 'Boyfriend' as the poodle jumped with delight, wrapping her arms around him. still having belief that she could win the wolf over.

"Just give me an honest chance, that's all i want" Suzie replied and Stephanie was partially regretting this.

And a double of couples. Lazlo finally deciding to break things off with Patsy and Suzie finally getting that 'Steven' is not into her.
