Chapter Sixteen
Somewhere on the L.A. highway…
Don woke up with a splitting headache, briefly wondering what had happened when he saw one of his captors sitting on the other side of the vehicle, surprisingly not paying attention to him.
'This really wasn't planned out.' Don thought with tired irritability, as he also found that he wasn't tied up in the slightest.
After a few more moments to regain his bearings, along with a vehicle that was also going way too fast, even for the highway, Don knew he had to think quickly before something else happened and he needed to get back to his family friends.
After seeing that nothing was changing with the man ahead of him, who was still intently looking at the driver, Don made his move.
After punching out the clueless man, Don immediately went for the driver, who was completely surprised to see the agent behind him.
"What the…" The man shouted before Don punched him in the face, as he just had about enough of this craziness.
"Crap…" Don said as he quickly grabbed the wheel, as the car was now swerving around slightly, as he was still dealing with some dizziness from everything he has dealt with in the last half hour and it took him a couple minutes to even get the car under control, though he still narrowly missed several other cars before he finally got the vehicle under control.
The car still almost slammed into one of the concrete walls and Don now found himself having a whiplash.
After awkwardly getting out of the car, still feeling dizzy to the point he had to sit down in front of the seat, he heard sirens coming.
'Good' He thought to himself, 'Maybe they'll find out who these guys are.'
He then passed out, with his last thoughts being what was going on with Charlie and the team, along with his father.
