Phase 1: The Mission
The year was 2000, Leon is at a diner in Chicago which is the city he now lives in after becoming a government agent to hunt down and destroy BOWs. "Gee it's been two years already," Leon looks at the TV to see news about the Raccoon Trials with the data he is recovering from Umbrella labs to aid in putting away Umbrella for good. "These are delicious," he thought to dig into his ice cream to drink it down with tea to enjoy his meal but something catches his eye.
A woman is approaching in his direction with all the men in the bar staring at the snow-white beauty and women being jealous of her looks. Her hips were swaying sensually for the guy admits is quite distracting by them.
"Hey there big guy, it seems like you are distracted," she said in a smooth silky voice that made his heart race.
"Oh, you need something?" he asked feeling nervous around such a lovely beauty with her giggling from this.
"It's okay for a woman to be with a man for a nice lunch," she said playfully.
"It's fine, I don't mind at all," Leon said as he looks upon this woman to be in awe at her appearance. She is a pale-skinned young Japanese woman of 20 years with a nicely shaped face. She has cool brown eyes, pale white skin, and short brown hair, and stands 5'6 tall.
She is wearing a blue sweater and a grey skirt that fitted her curvaceous pear figure, especially her nicely shaped chest, curvy hips, slender waist, and shapely legs along with a bountiful behind.
"Damn she is amazing, right out of my dreams," he said as his eyes dwell on her face and onto her bust which hugged the sweater not hiding its volume.
"See something you like, big guy?" she asked as the guy is blushing from her nice C-cup bust.
"Oh nothing, nothing at all," he said trying to act cool while he is eating his ice cream.
"Nice right since you seem so curious about my chest," she said slyly.
"Sorry, it's been a while since I see such a beautiful woman," he said as he looks at her curves fitting her outfit. The woman feels flattered by that.
"It's okay, boys will be boys of course," the woman said. "My name is Makoto Suzuki by the way," she said.
"Leon Kennedy, please to meet you," Leon said.
"Likewise, is that any good?" she asked pointing at his dish which has three big scoops of ice creams with chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry with the sweet sauce poured all over them.
"It tastes pretty good," Leon said.
"Man, he is so cute," she thought as her face glowed a deeper shade of red. She looks upon Leon's pretty face as she leers her eyes over this new guy.
He is about two years older than herself and has light skin, standing 6'0 tall, blue eyes, and light brown hair. He is wearing a brown shirt and black pants which highlights his lean yet lanky frame with white boots.
"You know it's rude to stare, you know," she teased him as he has a blush on his face feeling embarrassed.
"Sorry," he said as she goes up to him with a pretty smile making his blushing worse.
"I don't mind getting looks from you though," she said slyly for Leon looked at her to see if she looks familiar. "Wait a minute, you are one of the head agents in the US STRATCOM currently," Makoto said as Leon looks confused by this.
"Oh, you are part of the agency?" he asked.
"Yes I am, I am pretty new. So, I hope you can show me the ropes, Mr. Hero," Makoto said.
"I would love to get hands-on with you," Leon said as Makoto enjoys that idea.
"That is a thought, well I need to get going. Have a nice meal big guy," Makoto said as she gives him a sexy little wink to walk away as Leon is checking out her big round butt.
"She is quite the gal, is she," Leon wondered as he is going to see her at work. Soon everything begins to blur in Leon's vision to begin to close his eyes.
He opens him back up to be in a police car for the year 2004, he is in the back with two other people besides him. "Taking a nap prince charming?" Makoto asked to be saying in a teasing tone. Leon looks over to see his best friend Ark Thompson on the other side and his current girlfriend Makoto in the middle of the back seat of the car.
These two were Leon's partners on the field for a long while now going on successful mission after another until they were called on by the president to go on this dangerous mission in the middle of rural Spain.
"Yeah, you were knocked out golden boy," one of the police officers said.
"You can say that, how much longer until we get to the village?" Leon asked as President Graham send three of his best agents in the search for his missing daughter Ashley Graham who is captured by an unknown person who send her to rural Spain.
"Impatient are we, why are a bunch of Americans doing in the middle of buck fuck no more," the officer at the wheel said.
"That is classified," Ark said in a stern tone.
"Not just jerking off in the middle of nowhere, that's for sure," Leon joked.
"Yeah, we need you to take us to the location for us to do our jobs," Makoto said trying to be nice to him for she is trying to be reasonable, unlike the guys.
"Yeah whatever," the cop said.
"I don't want anyone else getting involved," Leon said as Ark and Makoto can see the pained look on his face.
"You mean like Krauser right?" she asked as this loss cut Leon deep since Jack Krauser was a mentor figure to Leon when he was put through the agency giving him all the tools he needs to fight against Bioterrorism.
"Yeah, I can't believe he burned up in that accident two years ago. Marvey, Kendo, Emma, Ada and now Krauser. No one else is going to die to this and Ashley needs to be found as soon as possible," Leon said.
"Noted and well said," Makoto said.
"I know Krauser, seems a bit off he died in a gas explosion," Ark said for he was a former military and ex paramilitary of Umbrella before becoming a secret agent of US STRATCOM under the direct orders of the president against the remains of Umbrella's bioterror spread across the world after their destruction in the US courts.
"And after what happened with Operation Javier, Krauser lose his arm in the last fight against Javier's mutant form. He changed after that," Leon said.
"Well, he always seems to be deep in military work government or private sectors. After that loss of his limb, he seems so directionless," Makoto said.
"Yeah, I can see that. He might have lost his edge and died in that explosion," Leon said.
"Speaking of Javier, how is Manuela doing these days?" Makoto asked.
"She is doing well despite all the tests with the T-Veronica virus inside her body," Leon said as Makoto didn't get the chance to see her before the mission started.
"Oh good, I am just happy she is doing well after all that happened with her and her family," Makoto said.
"Me too," Leon said as he looks out the window to see the endless forest around them.
"What are you guys talking about?" the cop asked.
"None of your concern," Ark said.
"Yeah, yeah," the cop said as they stop at the outskirts of the village. "Well, you cowboys and cowgirl stay here. We will go forward and greet the locals; tell them you are no threat to them. These people are not fond of outsiders," the second cop said.
"Alright, we will wait for your signal," Leon said as the two cops go outside to go deep into the forest.
"Hope this doesn't take long," Ark said as he pulls out his M1911 pistol from his gun holster to check its ammo count along with his magazines.
"Yeah, this place gives me the creeps," Makoto said as she checks out her personal MP-412 Rex revolver chambered for .357 magnum rounds to have six in the chamber.
"Yeah it has that weird folk horror vibe to it," Leon said as there is a mist coming into the forest making it even eerier.
"Yeh I can see that. Good thing I dress for this place, it's pretty chill here," Makoto said as she has on a blue jacket over a white shirt, dark blue jeans, and tall black boots. Black fingerless gloves, utility belt, and gun holster on her right thigh.
"Dress up nicely," Leon commented as Makoto sports a bright smile from his nice comment.
"I have to be sharp on aim and presentation," Makoto said feeling cool in her outfit.
"I keep it simple," Ark said as Leon sees him wearing his green jacket over his dark clothing.
"Evergreen in the middle of the desert," Leon joked.
"Oh, joke all you want. This is my lucky jacket. I wear this on missions and it never failed me before," Ark said being weirdly attached to his jacket with Makoto laughing at this.
"Oh Ark," Makoto said giggling at this. "Well boys, we are going to be waiting a bit until the cops come back," she said.
"I am getting anxious, I want to go out and find Ashley already," Leon said.
"Yeah. You saved Sherry and Manuela, you going to save this one as well. We have our help of course," Makoto said.
"Hey, you didn't forget about me did you?" a female voice asked on the radio in their ears.
"No Hunnigan, we did it. You are part of the team too," Leon said.
"Cool, well all we need to do than wait for your escorts to come back," Hunnigan said. Makoto dwells within her memories to remember her first date with Leon.
-Flashback Begins-
Makoto is waiting by the steps of her apartment complex to see Leon pulling up on a car to see his smile and dark sandy hair coming up on the street. "Need a lift Mako?" he asked using her Mako which she smiles at.
"Of course, time to hit the road," she said as she enters his car to go towards the diner.
"This place is great, they got some amazing stuff to eat," Leon said.
"Favorite place of yours?" Makoto asked.
'Yeah, they got some real dishes that punch above their weight. By the way, that dress is looking quite fresh on you," Leon said as he noted her blue dress with black tights underneath and brown high boots. Her short brown hair is styled and looks quite nice.
"Thanks, Leon, I wanted to look my best for you," she said for the dress highlights her bottom-heavy figure.
"It worked out," Leon said as he does know Makoto's best feature is her killer plump behind and broad hips along with her shapely legs.
"Well, I am looking forward to these dishes that punch above their weight class," Makoto said.
"Indeed, I am just getting hungry just thinking about this," Leon said as Makoto can see a photo attached to Leon's dashboard to see Leon, Ark, Makoto, and Krauser along with Manuela after Operation Javier was a success stopping her father and stopping the T-Veronica.
"Oh, that is a cute photo of us. Krauser is such a grump," Makoto said.
"He said some weird things when the mission was over," Leon said.
"Yeah, something about us being cowards and not seeing the value of the Virus and its power. I think that wound of his is making him say some crazy things," Makoto said.
"I guess," Leon said as Krauser wasn't the same after that mission with his wounded arm taking him out of commission and forcing him out of the military lifestyle which he craved so much.
"Hopefully he can get back into action. Despite never fighting bioweapons, he did well for himself on the field against them," Makoto said.
"I can't expect less from him. Pure soldier thick and thin," Leon said as they pull into a parking lot to see the dinner in front of them.
"Very nice and comfortable," Makoto said as they walk inside to see a waitress greeting them.
"Hey Leon, good to see you here again," the waitress said.
"Hey there Alice," he said as Alice looks at the Japanese woman being very comfy with him. "Who is this"? she asked.
"Oh, I am his girlfriend. Makoto, please to meet you," Makoto said trying to be friendly as Alice eyes her up.
"Right, come with me to your booth," Alice said as the couple get into the booth. "Here is the menu, what would you like to drink?" she asked.
"I want some citrus punch," Leon said.
"Oh, I want some blueberry tea please," Makoto said.
"Okay, I will be right back and you can look over your orders," Alice said as she is envious that the handsome Leon got himself a pretty lady around his arm. "Lucky bitch," she thought to walk away.
"Wow, this place is very comfy inside too," Makoto said.
"The atmosphere is quite nice," Makoto said as they see a bunch of people here eating their meals and chatting it up.
"Yeah, killer melts bring the bacon here," Leon said.
"Melts, am I stuck in the 50s or something," Makoto said.
"Speaking of melts, I going to get one myself. The bacon melts here are true works of art," Leon said as he is thinking about the caramelized onions and juicy beet patties right now. "Hey, I wonder about your knife?" he asked.
"Oh, you mean this?" Makoto takes a Tanto dagger out of her purse to place it on the table. It's within a pearl white sheathe with a flower emblem in the middle. The blade has a gold and white rounded handguard.
"Yeah, where did you get something like this, You were using it pretty well in Operation Javier," Leon said curiously about it.
"Oh, I see. Well, this is a family lucky charm. Its been in my family since the 1800s in Japan. Many people within my family use this tanto to help protect people. When in the 1880s, my family moved to America the Tanto dagger went with them serving in police and military work for years after," Makoto said.
"A symbol of justice?" he asked.
"You can say that. Now I use it as an agent of the US government protecting my home from bioterrorism, so things like Raccoon City would never happen again," Makoto said as Loen can feel the fires of justice within her tone of voice.
"Well said," Leon said as Makoto feels embarrassed by her choice of words,"
"Gee, I feel like a Shonen hero or something," Makoto said.
"It's pretty cute actually," Leon said as Makoto glows in the face from this.
"Gee, lying it thick huh?" she questioned.
"It's the truth," Leon said.
"It's a bit geeky if I have to be honest on my part," Makoto said.
"Still cute though," Leon said as Makoto takes the Tanto dagger back into her purse.
"Thanks, so what about your knife? It looks like it has seen a lot of action?" Makoto asked.
"I got it on the first and last day I was a Raccoon City cop. Given to me by a good man who didn't deserve his fate," Leon said.
"Sorry for bringing it up," Makoto didn't want to make him uncomfortable.
"No, it's okay. I can't keep looking into the past. Sours things," Leon said.
"Yeah, you got to keep going forward. No matter how painful it is," Makoto said.
"Okay now you are sounding like a Shonen Hero," Leon teased her as she pouts. "Also, thanks," he said as Makoto's smile crosses her face.
"No problem big guy," she said placing her hand on his. Alice comes in to place their drinks to be not amused with this scene.
"Okay lovebirds, you ready to order yet?" she asked.
"I will have a bacon melt sandwich with curly fries," Leon said.
"What about you?" Alice asked.
"Give me some crispy chicken tenders with curly fires as well please," Makoto said.
"Okay, I will get on it," Alice said as she takes their orders and menus to leave them.
"Why she so bend out of shape?" Makoto questioned.
"Oh, she wanted to go out with me but I decline her a while ago," Leon said.
"Oh, I see. You picked me over her. She is pretty, why me over her?" Makoto asked.
"She is pretty but you are not just pretty. You are reliable, determined and a ray of light I needed in my life after what happened. You are more than a pretty face to me," Leon said.
"Thanks, hon. That's so sweet," Makoto said as Alice place down their orders.
"Here you go if you need help. Just call me over," Alice said.
"Thanks," Leon said.
"You are welcome, hope you don't choke on your chicken missy," Alice said being green with envy to walk away.
"Oh, you burn your woman alright," Makoto said as Leon looks down at the sandwich to be bothered by Alice's rude comment.
"She will get over it, I think. Anyway, let's dig in," Leon said to grip the bacon melt to bite into it. The toasted bread, beef patties, melted cheese, crispy bacon strips, and caramelized onions along with some secret sauce. "Now this is perfection," he said as Makoto giggles at this.
"Seems like it with that look on your face," Makoto said as she dips her tender in honey mustard sauce to bite into it. Her mouth twists with delight filling up her warm brown eyes. "Goodness, honey mustard is truly a gift from the heavens. So good," Makoto said.
"Can't agree with that," Leon said as he noticed his shoes were untied. "Oh snap, got to fix that," Leon said as he gets under the table to tie his laces to see Makoto's thick legs and peek at what was under her dress. "Quite the view," he thought as she is wearing lacy pink panties.
"Like the view honey?" Makoto asked as he was down there for a bit too long as Leon pops back up.
"Sorry, I saw something very nice," Leon said as Makoto glows in the face.
"I bet you did, I am wearing them to feel pretty for you. They are pretty new too," Makoto said.
"I would love to get a closer look at them," Leon said.
"Trust me you will soon," Makoto said in a whisper to giggle at his cute expression. "Come on, let's dig in. These fries are delicious," she said as they finish up their meal.
"That was good," Leon said as Makoto lets out a little cute burp to press her fingers on her small pink lips.
"Pardon me, that was good. Thanks for taking me here, it was swell," Makoto said as she kisses him on the cheek.
"Well, I aim to please," Leon said as they go into the car to take Makoto home for the date is a success.
-Flashback Ends-
Makoto gets out of her memories to see it has been a while since the two cops went into the woods to speak with the villagers.
"Hey, you okay," Leon asked.
"Oh yes, I was enjoying a happy memory before we dive into another nightmare before us," Makoto said.
'Seems like they are taking their sweet time," Ark said.
"Yeah, we should check up on them," Leon said as they get out of the car with him checking his sidearm which is a custom KP-94 pistol aka the Silver Ghost.
"Best to check up on them," Hunnigan said on their radios. "Keep your commlinks on, they will be useful to keep in contact," she said.
"Please don't be our version of Navi Hunnigan," Ark said.
"Don't compare me to a ball of light please," Hunnigan said sounding a bit annoyed by this.
"Yeah that is a bit harsh on your part," Makoto said.
"I ditto that," Leon said.
'Sorry about it," Ark said.
"It's okay, move into the forest and find those police officers," Hunnigan said.
"Noted," the three agents said as Ark goes to the back to unlock the back compartment.
"Let's see if they got something good back here," Ark said as he opens the back to reveal an R700 bolt action sniper rifle.
"Nice find," Leon said as he takes the rifle and heads it to Makoto. "You have the best eyes," Leon said to hand it over to her.
"Got it, it will come in handy," Makoto said slinging it on her back for they go into the forest to leave the police car behind.
"Wait a minute, Hunnigan. You play Legend of Zelda?" Ark asked.
"My brother plays it a lot and I watched him. It's interesting to see," Hunnigan said as the trio head down the misty path with trees all around them and crows shouting up in the trees.
"A murder of crows up above us," Makoto said.
"I hate those things," Leon said as he remembers fighting lots of them back in Raccoon City.
"I can guess," she said as the trio saw nothing for a while until they find a dark sight.
"Oh goodness," Ark said as Leon looks over to see it was a deer corpse whose insides were exposed to the elements.
"Someone torn this poor guy to pieces," Makoto said as they push moving forward. She checks her bolt action rifle to see 5 rounds of 7.62x51mm rounds inside the built-in magazine with a nice scope to go with it.
"Stay sharp," Leon said.
"Yes boss," Ark and Makoto said at the same time playfully for them to be on guard. They see barbed wire blocking their path but they managed to get through by crouching under it. They see a hunting cabin here in the misty forest.
"This looks odd. You two stay here, I am going to check it out," Leon said.
"Alright hon, be careful in there. This place gives me the creeps," Makoto said.
"Watch yourself," Ark said as Leon approaches the door of the hunting cabin but it unlock for some reason.
"Maybe the cops are inside?" he wondered as he goes inside to see dark hallways and animal bones lining the ceiling and walls. "They must love to hunt animals," he thought as he goes check the nearby room to see a pump action shotgun the R870 on the table along with buckshots. "Oh nice," he thought to grab onto the shotty which holds 7 rounds in the tube plus 1 in the chamber.
He slings the shotgun on his back and takes the ammo with him to keep pushing into the house. Leon finds a door that is locked to go into another room which has a pot in the front, a table, and some rotten meat on plates.
Leon looks around to turn around to be surprised by a villager just looking very dazed. He is chanting something in Spanish to go over to the pot to check the soup.
"Oh, sorry about that. Do you know any cops around here?" Leon asked in Spanish but there is no response to this. "Okay," Leon said as he looks at the floor to see one of the cop's badges covered in blood. Leon is getting uneasy with the village taking an ax and going to strike Leon.
Leon catches the strike with his knife to shove him away. He then delivers a strong kick to the head to snap the villager's neck and crash onto the ground.
"What is happening here?" he thought as he hears someone screaming downstairs. Leon takes the key from the fallen villager to head over to the locked door.
"Hey Leon, what is going on inside?" Makoto asked on the radio.
"Things are getting weird. Stay alert," Leon said as Ark noticed someone coming up on the road.
"Hey Makoto, there is a truck coming up," Ark said as he pulls out his M1911 pistol to be ready for a fight.
Leon reaches the locked door to unlock it to see a fleet of stairs that goes into the basement. Animal bones and tanned hides all over the place. Leon hears a voice behind a door. He opens it to go over to the corner to see one of the cops dead laying in his blood.
"Goodness," Leon said picking up the radio to hear the second officer on it. "Hey what's happening?" Leon asked.
"These villagers lost these minds. Get away from me!" the second cop shouted as he is screaming at the top of his lungs.
"Gee you got to be kidding me. What is wrong with this place," Leon said as he draws out his Silver Ghost to hear gunfire outside. "What is going on?" he asked on the radio.
"We are being attacked. A group of villagers is trying to kill us," Makoto said as Ark fires rounds into a man's leg to stomp on it breaking it. He delivers a kick to knock the villager into the truck breaking his back.
Makoto ducks under the swing of a villager's ax to fire her revolver to destroy the man's head. She fires several shots to take them down. Ark kicks the last villager to knock him onto the car to fire several shots to kill him.
"Goodness, we are fine but there are more that went into the lodge," Makoto said.
"Okay, keep watch outside. I can handle this," Leon said as he hears groans by the stairs to see the villager who attacked him still walking with his neck broken. "What the hell?" he questioned as he fires several shots but the villager still lunges at him to grab onto Leon's neck trying to snap his neck.
"Not so fast," Leon fires his pistol at his kneecap to stun him and then shoves him away. He switches to his shotgun to blast the villager in the chest with buckshot to put him down for good. "That is no zombie," he thought as he goes up the stairs to see more villagers going into another room.
He spots a secret door he didn't see before to go inside to see stairs heading up to the next floor. He opens the door to close it behind him. "Interesting. Guys, I found info that Ashley is here within this village," Leon said on the radio.
"That is awesome," Makoto said.
"Better Hunnigan to give her an update," Ark said.
"Hunnigan this is Leon. I managed to confirm Ashley is within this village," Leon said as he sees the young woman in a photo on this map of the region.
"Good, our intel was spot on. Good work Leon," Hunnigan said.
"Yeah, the region is quite big. There is a lake nearby and there is a village as well," Leon said.
"Alright, I will get some recon on the area to give you a better view of the place," Hunnigan said.
"Thanks. Also, I found one of the cops, they got torn to pieces by the locals," eon said.
"That is insane, what is going on here? This is no T-Virus here as far as I know," Hunnigan said.
"Yeah, no zombies here but something is making these people go mad," Leon said as the door is being cut down. "Got to go, I will talk with you later," Leon said.
"Right, keep safe out there," Hunnigan said as the door breaks down with several villagers ganging up on the agent.
"Well, I will see myself out," Leon quipped as he leaped out of the window to land on the ground like a superhero. Makoto and Ark head over to see his crazy stunt.
"Oh Leon, that was nuts," Makoto said as Leon took a light beating but shakes it off.
"I am fine, I did get intel in that house and a new weapon," Leon said showing off the hunting shotgun the R870 on his back.
"Nice find. It's going to be handy against these guys. They are infected with something but not the T-Virus or anything similar to it. This is new grounds for us," Makoto said.
"Well. we can only move forward. Got to find the other police officer," Ark said as they head off towards the main village where the horrors are only about to begin.
The trio keeps going down the road keeping watch over the Villagers if they do anything fishy. "Ark, I read your file. You have a very impressive record," Hannigan said.
"Yeah I did some work," Ark said holding onto his M1911 pistol.
"Yes, you were ex-military and then went into private work with Umbrella Paramilitary forces. You were into clean-up duty going into sites and labs wiping out all traces of bioweapons," Hunnigan said.
"And survivors, not my best moments," Ark said.
"Well, there is that mission Leon send you on a personal note when you were Private Detective. You went to Sheena Island and destroyed that Tyrant factory," Hunnigan said.
"Along with fighting four Tyrants in a row including a new prototype Tyrant, which was insane by the way," Ark said as his experience against Bioweapons and training made Ark the heavy of the three-man team.
"I still can't believe you managed to do that. I barely survived one of those monsters," Leon said.
"It's a good mix of skill and luck. Also, the fact I had lost my memories at the time didn't help matters either," Ark said.
"You thought you were the bad guy in charge of the island," Makoto said.
'Yeah that was freaking embarrassing, to be honest," Ark said.
"Well, all that made you an easy fit for the special unit in U.S. STRATCOM to fight Bioterrorism," Hunnigan said.
"Yeah better that than what I was doing with Umbrella before," Ark said.
"Yeah I heard about Umbrella is going to be reformed into something else by the US government," Makoto said as Leon groans from this.
"Seriously?" he asked.
"Yes, after what happened with Raccoon City they became Blue Umbrella. Becoming a PMC to try to regain their image in the eyes of the public," Makoto said.
"Things can't be wiped away so easily. I wouldn't forgive them easily either," Leon said.
"Yeah but only time will tell if this is going to be a good idea," Makoto said.
"Yes, keep going forward. The village you were seeing on the map is up ahead," Hunnigan said.
"Of course," Leon said as the trio go down the dirt road to see abandoned shacks and houses.
"We should check these places for anything useful," Ark said.
"Good idea," Leon said as they spread out to see anything for Leon goes into a shack to see a couple of green herbs in pots. "Nice," Leon takes these to make some healing sprays.
Ark goes into a house to groan in the corner of the house. He enters a bedroom to see two dead people lying on the sheets. "Man, these folks never stood a chance," Ark said as he turns around to see closet doors shake violently. "Oh crap," Ark pulls ups his pistol for the doors burst up for an infected villager to pop out. Ark fires a few times to stun him and then uses his bowie knife to drive it into the neck of the villager to execute him.
Makoto hears this on the radio. "Something happened?" she asked.
"Yeah I got jumped by one of the infected villagers but I am okay," Ark said.
"These guys are not zombies, they can think and plan out an ambush. Be careful," Leon said.
"Yeah I will," Makoto said as she goes into a cabin to see for some spare ammo of pistol and shotgun rounds. "I found some ammo, come over here and collect them," she said on the radio.
"Thanks," Ark said as Makoto is looking for some ammo for her bolt action rifle. She enters a room to see 7.62x51mm bullets on a desk.
"Perfect," Makoto said as she hears a groan for a woman creeping under the bed trying to grab her legs. "Oh shit," Makoto draws her Rex to blast off the woman's arm making her let go but the infected woman is not bothered by this and keeps crawling towards Makoto.
She fires her rounds into her head and arms until she stops moving. "Goodness, they are even under the beds too," she said trying to catch her breath.
"You didn't get hurt right?" Leon asked.
"Yeah I am fine," Makoto said.
"They are just giving us the warm Spain welcome," Leon said lightly for them to come into the house to gather some ammo. They hear some people outside for a few villagers are trying to gang up on them.
"Speaking of which," Ark said as the door busted up with three villagers coming in with axes and pitchforks. One of the windows breaks for one of the villagers is trying to close them into the room.
"Not so fast," Makoto fires a few shots from her Rex to knock the Villager out of the window to fall outside. Leon uses his shotgun to line up his shot and blast through the group of three villagers to knock them onto the floor.
One of them is twitching with Leon stabbing her head to put the villager down. Makoto goes outside to slam her Tanto knife into the head of the villager to kill her.
"Well, no one else left here. Let's grab the supplies and get out of here," Leon said.
"Yes sir," Makoto said lightly as she take herbs, ammo, and other things to put in their bags to head back onto the dirt road towards the village.
"Hey, remember back in training in the early days?" Ark asked.
"How can I forget about that," Leon said.
"You two are close?" Hannigan asked.
"Yes, I and Leon were friends ever since high school. This guy was hell-bent on being a cop, he was saved by one after a deadly drive-by shooting leaving him parentless," Ark said.
"That's very harsh, I didn't know that," Hannigan said.
"It's okay, I made peace with it a long time ago. After that, I always wanted to be a cop to protect people. Too bad that blow that into the sky," Leon said.
"I mean you are an agent of the US government. You are stopping bioterror threats, so it wasn't in vain," Hunnigan said.
"Yeah, your right. Thanks for that," Leon said.
"No problem," Hunnigan said as Leon remembers his times in the early days of his training when Ark first came into the service to reunite with his old friend.
-Flashback Begins-
On the date of January 18, 1999, a few months passed since Ark managed to destroy the Tyrant Factory on Sheena Island at the request of Leon. The US government was aware of this and saw Ark's record on the field to be very impressive. They brought Ark into the secret project within U.S. STRATCOM to be an agent to fight Umbrella and expose their crimes in Raccoon City and beyond.
Ark and Leon were in a training base within the mountains in the Rocky Mountains. They were both in the firing range for Leon is quite happy to see an old friend join him in the agency. "Man, I can't believe you managed to do all that," Leon said being very impressed.
"Yeah, luck was on my side that day. So, any luck with the ladies lately?" Ark asked as Leon has an image of Ada getting smashed into a machine by Mr. X breaking her spine to slowly die in Leon's arms.
"Leon, I love you," Ada's final words echoed within his mind with her giving him one final kiss on the lips before perishing in Leon's embrace. This image haunted his mind ever since.
"Not great. There was my ex-girlfriend who I dumped just a few months before Racoon City since she and I didn't see eye to eye. Then there was this beautiful Chinese lady in a silk red dress Ada Wong and then she died in my arms," Leon said as Ark shows sympathy for his old friend to place a comforting hand on his shoulder.
"That is rough buddy but you are getting caught up with a spy is some James Bond-level stuff right there," Ark said.
"Yeah I know, she could be tricking me but there was something there. You know, but I will never know now," Leon said.
"Yeah but I think it would be best to seek out a girl who is close to home. You know, no secrets and whatnot," Ark said.
"Yeah, your right. Can't dwell too much into the past or I will miss what is in the present now," Leon said.
"Alright, let's see who can shoot the most targets here," Ark said as he wants to make this a friendly match.
"Okay, I am game, what is the wager?" Leon asked.
'Yes one to get 200 points will get free lunch," Ark said.
"I am on, I need my melt fix," Leon said as he pulls out his new custom pistol.
"What is that little piece you got there?" Ark asked as he sees the Kendo logo on the side.
"Oh, this is a new weapon I got from the Kendo gun shop in Chicago. Its basic model was a KP-94 9mm pistol and make it for my needs. I dub it the Silver Ghost," Leon said to able to fit 16 rounds plus 1 in the chamber to have a 17-round amount.
"Silver Ghost sounds like a low-budget superhero," Ark said.
"Shut up, let's go with this," Leon said as he presses the button to see the targets moving around. The two men are using MP5s to blast away at the targets. Points are getting gathered as they push toward the 200 mark. Leon is ranking up points with Ark not too far behind.
Ark is gaining steam with him lining up follow-up shots with controlled burst switching between targets. Soon enough Ark has managed to complete the wager with 200 points and Leon has 200 not too long after.
"Not bad," Ark said.
"Well, you got me. I will pay you for the food," Leon said.
"Thanks, man," Ark said to playfully hit his shoulder.
"You ladies having fun?" Krauser asked as he appears within the firing range.
"Major Krauser, good to see you here," Leon said.
"Likewise, Leon. I see we got some new blood here. Ark Thompson, it's been a while since I last saw you," Krauser said.
"Krauser, it hasn't seen you since the army days," Ark said.
"Good to see you the president knows about your skills. They will be put to good use, I was sent to train you guys for the upcoming secret missions the president wants you to do. I will not go easy on you two," Krauser said.
"Right, we will not let you down," Leon said as Krauser nods his head.
"Good, we will have a lot of work to do. How about a shooting match between us to see who comes up on top," Krauser said.
"Okay I am game," Ark said.
"Yeah, count me in," Leon said as the three grabbed MP5s to begin shooting the targets having fun while doing this.

Leon fades out of his mind to keep going into the forest with Makoto and Ark beside them to get close to the village to go deeper to seek out the mysteries of this place.
