Roboticized Eve Saga Episode 2: A Precious Rescue! A Daring Escape!

Moments later after the blinding light of the Genesis Wave, Sonic finds himself back in the Death Egg in the Arctic Tundra.

Sonic rubs his head and mutters to himself, "Man, that Genesis Wave was a big one. I'm glad that Eve and I were able to fix it before…"

But gasps in realization, "...EVE!"

Sonic turns to see the Arctic Freedom Fighters in a pile as they soon get up. Silver, Amy, Tails, and Jazz walk towards the group as they get up. Sonic rushes over and looks to see Eve, who is almost completely roboticized sit up.

Eve turns her head and softly says, "Sonic…"

"Eve," Sonic says, and kneels down to her, "Are you okay?"

"I… I think…" Eve says, but tears begin to fall from her face, "No… I'm not… look what's happening to me."

"Don't worry sis, now that the Deroboticizer has been fixed up, we're going to head straight back to New Mobotropolis to fix this," Sonic says with a reassuring smile.

"Thanks," Eve replies.

But becomes confused and asks, "But how did I gain control? I was going out of control and I was in pain."

"I'm guessing the Genesis Wave must have done the trick, and help you gain control," Sonic says.

"I suppose," Eve replies.

Just then, Guntiver rushes over, "There are more Badniks incoming! Augustus is hurt, and we can't retreat and fight at the same time!"

"Sonic, we'll never get anywhere like this," Tails says to Sonic, "We should scout ahead and find a way to cut these robots off at the source!"

"And clear a path for you to get out of here," Sonic says.

"What can we do?" Amy asks.

Sonic then turns to Silver, "Silver, hold on tight to Eve for me, okay?"

"Can't I come with you?" Eve asks.

"Sorry sis, I'm not taking chances in case you start feeling pain or lose control of your body, and I don't want Egg face seeing you like this. You stay with Silver," Sonic says.

"Okay," Eve says.

"Don't worry, I'll hold you very tight," Silver says and uses his powers to hold Eve.

"Then this'll be a piece of cake," Sonic says, and calls out, "Let's go, little bro!"

And with that, Sonic and Tails speed off ahead.

Amy rushes to Augustus who is being supported by Flip and Sealia.

"Hrgh-" Flip says, struggle to hold him, "Marginally better than when Ahklut threw him off a cliff."

"I theenk he is just stunned. Worry about covering us, Mon Ami," Sealia says.

"Right!" Amy says, and slams her hammer at the robot, "Freedom Fighters… Let's do it to it!"

Back in New Mobotropolis, the Tails Doll has turned into a monster, and is trying to attack them.

It swings its tail, and Rotor cries out, "Get down!"

Everyone quickly ducks their heads or jumps over the tail.

Nicole kneels to Rotor, "Rotor, it's absorbing all of the nearby nanites to maintain that form. That means, you Heavy, and Bomb are all susceptible as well."

"You're right…" Rotor says, "But we can't let that thing destroy the power scrubbers and irradiate the city."

"I certainly would dislike being absorbed into that monstrosity," Heavy says.

Sally says, "We need a way to lure it away from the Power Plant while also keeping our distance."

"How do we so that?" Cosmo asks.

"One of us has to volunteer as a decoy…" Sally answers.

Then Cream volunteers, "I-I-I'll d-do it. I'm the one who found that doll and brought it into the city, so it's my responsibility."

"I'll help you too. I'm kind of also responsible as well." Maria says.

And with that, Cream flaps her ears and flies over with Cheese and Chocola. Maria does the same with her Chaos Energy.

"Cream, Maria, wait!" Rotor calls out.

Soon, the girls and the two Chaos reach the monster's view.

"Mr. Dolly, you don't need to listen to that nasty Dr. Eggman," Cream says to the monster with a sweet smile, If you give Ms. Nicole her Nanites back, we can all go back to my house and have tea parties like we-"

But the monster tries to attack her, and Maria quickly saves her. Soon, they begin with the plan and the Tails Doll monstrosity follows them.

"Are we doing it right, Rotor?" Maria calls out.

"You're doing great, girls! We just need to draw it out a little more," Rotor says.

But Big notices, "I think it's stuck."

Rotor looks to see if the monster seems stuck, "Shoot, you're right! We've got no choice but to make it mad enough to chase us."

"Seems that we don't have any other choice," Sally says, "Rotor, you try to get its attention."

"Got it Sally," Rotor says and starts firing at the monster

Then Sally says, "Heavy, Bomb give Rotor some covering fire!"

"With pleasure!" Heavy says.

"Ping-Ping!" Bomb replies.

"Everyone else, start running!" Sally says.

Everyone then begins to run as Heavy throws Bomb at the monster.

Meanwhile, Sonic and Eve are smashing through the Egg Swat and traveling through the Death Egg.

Tails kicks one, "Ugh! I think that's all of them, Sonic."

"For one, anyway," Sonic says as he spin dashes another Badnik. "Let's book it!"

Once defeating the Badniks, they rush off.

"Y'know, can't we just blow this whole place up like before?" Sonic questions.

But Tails says, "It's too risky; we'd never make it out in time. We need to focus on getting Eve out of here safe and sound!"

"I know, I know," Sonic says, "But it'd be nice to end this once and for-"

But Sonic hears a familiar voice, "Where's that blasted part?!"

Sonic stops as he whispers, "Hey, did you hear that? And uses his hand to stop Tails.

Tails reacts, "OOF! What-"

"In the next room. That's Eggman!" Sonic whispers.

Again, they hear Eggman's voice, "I know I left it in one of these boxes."

Sonic and Tails sneak over to the room to see Eggman searching for something while Orbot and Cubot are chatting.

Eggman scolds the two, "You two, stop dawdling and help me find that Bio analyzer! If Sonic manages to get past Mecha Sally, he cannot be allowed to get a hold of it!"

"That sounds important. You don't think…" Sonic whispers.

"That it could be used to either stop Mecha Sally or we can use it to help change Eve back?" Sonic says.

"You got it!..." Sonic says.

He then walks into the room and calls out, "Hey Eggman, wanna get scrambled?"

"Wha-" Eggman questions, turning his head, and gasps in shock, "Sonic?!"

"Jokes on you, Eggman! We've already got Mecha Sally, and you're-" Sonic says, running towards Eggman.

"Oh, we'll just see about that!" Eggman says and dashes ahead.

"Koodpye!" Cubot says and waves goodbye.

"-Running toward a dead end?" Sonic says, confused as he comes to a stop.

Tails rushes into the room, "Eggman must have something in there. You should go on ahead?"

"Well, someone has to keep him distracted long enough so you can find that part," Sonic says, "Besides, it's probably just another robot of the week. I've been starting to miss those…" and dashes odd.

"Good luck, Sonic!" Tails calls out.

Sonic soon leaves the room, and follows Eggman while Tails looks for the part.

Back in New Mobotropolis, the monster is out of control and is starting to go after the citizens.

"No!" Rotor cries out, "It's heading for the civilians after all!"

And calls out, "Cream, Maria, can you district it just a bit longer?!"

"We'll try, Rotor," Maria calls out.

But Cream notices Cheese and Chocola heading towards the creature.

"Cheese! Chocola! Where are you going?!" Cream calls out.

The two Chaos arrive towards the mouth of the beast to see the red gem.

"Chao Chao?" Cheese questions.

"Chao?" Chocola replies.

Unknown to them, the monster is raising its tentacle towards the Chaos.

"Cheese, Chocola, look out!" Cream cries out.

She then swoops in and rescues the Chaos just in time. Meanwhile, the rest of the Freedom Fighters are blasting at the robot.

Heavy notices, "Sir, I couldn't help but notice it was quick to defend that red gem even against two Chaos. I believe I've found its power source," Heavy says.

"Good observation, Heav…" Nic says, still shooting.

"Now we just gotta find a way to hit that gem hard enough," Fiona says.

"But how? Ze monster would not let us near it," Antoine asks.

Then Rotor says, "I have an idea. Nicole, are you there?"

Nicole soon appears, "I'm here, Rotor. Have you figured something out?"

"Huddle up, everyone. Here's the plan…" Rotor says, and begins the plan as Cream and Maria distract the monster.

With the plan figured out, Rotor says, "Got it? Then let's get to work! Hit it hard, but watch out for collateral damage!"

"Controlled demolition? My specialty," Heavy says.

Soon, Maria, Cream, and the Chao fly down to the ground.

Big asks, "Are you okay, Cream? That monster is scary."

"Thank you, Mr. Big… we're alright," Cream says.

Maria sighs, "I feel like I need a moment to get my wits together."

Soon, Nicole appears, startling the girls.

"Forgive me for startling you, girls, but we have little time. Rotor has a plan to defeat that monster, but we'll need your help," Nicole says.

Maria and Cream turn to each other, and then turn to Nicole.

"We'll do whatever we can to help, Ms. Nicole. What do you need?" Cream asks.

Nicole then whispers into Maria and Cream's ears about the plan.

"Can you all remain calm and do that for me?" Nicole asks.

"Yup!" Big says.

"Yes, I… I think so," Cream says.

"We won't let that doll cause any more trouble," Maria says.

"Very well," Nicole says, "I'll reroute some power to the city's defensive system in order to protect the civilians. I'm counting on you!"

"We won't let you down, Ms. Nicole!" Cream says.

Then turns to the others, "Let's do our best!"

"Chao-Chao!" The two Chaos reply.

And with that, the group rushes off to carry out the plan.

Back in the Death Egg, Sonic is chasing Dr. Eggman, Orbot, and Cubot down the hall.

Sonic calls out, "Dude, you can't outrun me! This is over. You've got nothing left to fight me with!"

"He's gaining on us!" Cubot cries out.

Orbot cries out, "Shut up and hover faster!

Sonic manages to catch up and spin dashes at them, "Doesn't that feel familiar?" And sends Eggman and his robots flying, "But now there's no Mecha Sally here to save your skin."

And Eggman with Orbot and Cubot crash into the boxes.

"And this time. I'm not really interested in mercy," Sonic says.

Eggman stands up and takes breaths, "...Sonic.. Please, I'm begging you… I just need to-" And opens one of the boxes, "DO THIS!"

Eggman opens the box and it is revealed to be another version of Emerl, but with differences. It's a humanoid, mostly black, robot. He possesses five-fingered gray hands and feet in the shape of shoes with black soles and yellow lines around them. His upper arms, abdomen and thighs are gray, and he has spherical black joints as shoulders and pelvis-leg joints. He also has relatively thick armor around his forearms and lower legs, (each one possessing yellow cuffs), fin-like yellow kneecaps, fin-like yellow objects on his forearms, and some kind of jetpack on his back. On his chest, he has three gray circles. Lastly, he possesses a spherical head with a gray mouth plate, blue eyes with red rims, gray caps resembling ears, and a curved yellow horn with points sticking out from the sides and a blue eye in the center on his forehead.

Eggman laughs, manically, "Oh, ho, ho! Did you really think you and your little friends had me cornered, Sonic? This lovely gift from the Soumerca chapter will wipe that insufferable smirk off your face."

However, Sonic is unimpressed, "Another robot of the week after all, huh? Let's see if it can last longer than five seconds. Then we'll get back to business!" and then gives it a spin dash in the stomach, making it fall on its back.

Eggman yelps, "Yipe!"

Sonic lands on his feet and says, "On a scale of one to ten, that was a minus three. Nice try, Eggman."

Eggman soon begins to scold the robot, "Fight! Why won't you fight!? Even Cubot could've lasted longer than you!"

"Ee . . . Ve're not testing zat theory, right?" Cubot asks.

Just then, the robot's eyes begin to glow and says, Spin attack - copy."

And suddenly, the robot spin dashes Sonic in the stomach, leaving him in shock.

Eggman is shocked as well, but soon gets over it with confidence, "Now that's more like it, my feisty robot! Destroy those Freedom Fighters while I get out of here!"

"Okay, maybe a five," Sonic says.

The robot then comes towards Sonic for another spin dash

But Sonic jumps up, "You might be able to copy my moves…" And begins to spin dash, "But I bet you can't keep up with my speed!"

And with that, Sonic zooms to a spin dash, the black Emerl does the same.

Back at New Mobotropolis, The Freedom Fighters are carrying out the plan, the Freedom Fighters distract the monstrous Tails Doll.

Heavy concentrates while holding Bomb, "Steady… steady…" and throws Bomb at the monster, making an explosion.

Rotor then fires as Cream and Maria move out of the way, and strike at the monster.

"Now's your chance, Big!" Rotor calls out, "Do it!"

"Okay," Big says, and casts his fishing line at the monster.

With a hard cast, he has his fishing hook hooked onto the red gem.

And soon begins to pull, "Hyup!"

The monster roars in agony, "RROOAARRR!"

And swings the tentacle to attack Big.

Cream stomps on it in the nick of time, "No! Don't attack my friends anymore!"

Big pulls as hard as he can, pulling out the crystal out of the monster and lands on the ground, shattering it in half. Without the gemstone, the monster soon begins to lose its power and shrinks back to normal.

Nicole notices, "The nanties are dispersing… it's over."

"Good work, team!" Sally says.

"Once again New Mobotropolis is safe because of us! Another Eggman robot was defeated, no one was injured, and the city's automated repair systems should clean all the damages in no time," Rotro says.

"All in a day's work, right Bomb" Heavy says.

"Ping!" Bomb replies.

"Fighting inside monsters is weird," Big says.

Cream sternly says to the doll, "You're in very big trouble now, Dolly…"

"Thank you all for defending our city, I only hope… that the others are having similar success," Nicole says, concerned.

Back in the Death Egg, The robot slams Sonic into the wall.

Causing him to scream, "Yeow!"

Sonic stands and holds his shoulder in pain, "Fine, you're a seven."

And then zooms away, "But I've got some friends and a half roboticized sister to save! Ciao!"

The robot simply stands and watches the event.

Sonic soon arrives in what appears to be the control room, "Hmm. This looks like some sort of control room. It'd be a real shame if someone decided to . . ." And then Spin dashes into the control panel, ". . . Smash it!" That causes everything to be shut off.

Meanwhile, Amy and the Arctic Freedom Fighters are fighting the Egg Swat, but they all suddenly collapse.

"Wha-" Amy says, confused, "They all deactivated?"

Guntvier says, "Sonic and Tails did it! Time to move!"

And with that, the Freedom Fighters begin to move.

Meanwhile, Sonic dashes off out of the control room, "Okay . . . Now what else can I blow up?"

Just then, Tails shows up, "Hey, Sonic!"

Sonic stops and turns to see Tails, "Tails! Did you find that Bio-Doohickey?"

"You bet, Sonic!" Tails happily says, giving a thumbs up.

Soon, the pair dash down the hall together to meet with the Arctic Freedom Fighters.

Sonic also gives them the bad news, "Eggman got away though - Pulled out another one of his robots again."

"Heh. Well, there's always next time," Tails says, "Eggman won't be able to get away from us forever."

"Yeah, yeah, I know," Sonic says, "Let's get Eve home."

Back in the control room, Eggman is furious to find the state the control pads are in.

"Zee Badnik control room. It is kaput," Cubot says.

Eggman is so furious, "Ooooh, I hate that hedgehog…"

However, he notices that one of the monitors is staticing and able to show The Arctic Freedom Fighters. However, something else has caught his attention.

Eggman holds the monitor to see this, "Wait, is that really-"

Orbot looks to see what's happening on the monitor himself.

"Why yes, I do believe it is. That robot appears to be Eve," Orbot says.

Eggman continues to watch the monitor and has his eyes towards Eve who is over half roboticized. He evilly smirks because he realizes that the immunity she once had is fading, and is becoming roboticized.

Eggman commands, "Get to the main control room and prepare to launch the Death Egg. Now."

"Are you sure that's a good idea, boss?" Orbot asks. "The Death Egg hasn't been fully refunded yet, and…"

"Do it," Eggman says.

"Ve'll get it ready, meister," Cubot says.

And the two robots take their leave to start their departure.

Soon enough, everyone reaches the Tornado, T-Pup helps Silver with Eve and makes sure she is safe and secure for the trip back home.

" I'm so glad we're out of that stuffy place!" Amy says.

"Me too. I'll be more happy when we get home," Eve says.

"Chao Chao," Jazz replies sadly.

Eve looks at her Chao friend, "Chao Chao. Chao Chao."

"It's okay girl. I'll be more happy when all this is over," Eve says and pat Jazz on her head.

Sonic and Guntiver shake hands.

"Thanks, Guntiver. We couldn't have even done this without your help," Sonic says.

"It's been our pleasure. If you need assistance again, you know where to find us," Guntiver says.

Amy turns to the others and asks, "Are you feeling better, Augustus?"

"I'll be fine," Augustus says, and turns to his team, "Sorry I weighed you guys down."

"I'll get heem patched up in ze base, good as new!" Sealia says.

Soon enough, the Freedom Fighters take off in the Tornado while Silver floats next to them.

Amy waves goodbye, "See you 'round!"

"Goodbye!" Guntiver calls out.

"Bye everyone!" Eve says.

They soon leave the Arctic Tundra and are heading back to New Mobotropolis.

"So . . . What's the plan now?" Silver asks.

"The Tornado will keep Eve in stasis while we head back to New Mobotropolis," Tails says.

Then turns to Eve, who is being held by the claw of the Tornado, "Sorry Eve."

"It's okay. It's best to keep me like this in case I lose control again," Eve says.

"Don't worry Eve. I already radioed ahead to Uncle Chuck and asked him and Rotor to get started on a De-Roboticizer. Now it's just a matter of getting back home and installing this part for extra power," Tails says.

"Great work, Freedom Fighters! Let's finish this!" Sonic says.

Eve nods, "Right, let's get this over with! The sooner I get back to my normal state, the better!"

However, back in the Death Egg, Dr. Eggman is watching Sonic and the others heading back to New Mobotropolis. At the same time, Orbot and Cubot are trying to get the ship launched.

Cubot panics, "Mein freund, are you sure zis is a gut idea?"

"He'd find out sooner," Orbot says.

And radios in Eggman, "Sir, I'm afraid the Death Egg currently doesn't have enough fuel to launch."

Eggman remains silent for a minute and then says, "… Of course it doesn't. Then asks, "Have you launched Metal Sonic and that Copy Robot."

"They're just heading out, sir," Orbot says.

"Open the channel to Metal Sonic," Eggman says.

Meanwhile, Metal Sonic and the Copy Robot are heading out.

Metal Sonic activates his boosters and takes flight.

The robot says, "Rocket Booster - copy." and takes flight on the boosters

And with that, both Metal Sonic and the robot fly off the Death Egg to follow the Freedom Fighters.

Eggman says, "Sonic the Hedgehog has a very important asset for my case. Retrieve Eve the Hedgehog, no matter the cost to yourself or others. Do not focus on defeating Sonic or his friends, capturing the black and red hedgehog will be victory enough. But if you cannot bring Eve to me… you are authorized to destroy her."

And soon, Metal Sonic and the Copy Robot are reaching towards New Mobotropolis, to either retrieve Eve or destroy her.
