BGM: Faron Woods (The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword)

The heroes made their way deeper into the woods, when all of a sudden, Oran stopped and narrowed his eyes.

"Hmm? What's wrong, Oran?" Laura asked.

"I'm… not sure. Ah… it's probably nothing."

"Probably just sensing something like an ambush." Whitley guessed.

"A Bokoblin ambush? Ha. They're not much." Cardin chuckled.

"I wouldn't be too cocky… those weapons they hold can prove to be dangerous." Kirumi said. "Even if there were Grimm that we can easily take out, they can still overwhelm even the most seasoned fighter if they're not careful."

"She's right. One Bokoblin might not be anything, but a whole army of them might put a damper on things." Lana said,

"Not unless if you have magic~" Cia smiled, darkness swirling in her wrists with a grin.

A Bokoblin spotted them and was about to blow into his conch shell, only for Midna to grab it with her hair. "Looking for this~?" Midna smiled tauntingly, crushing it with said hair, causing the Bokoblin to whimper and take off running, but Midna grabbed him. "Who said you could run!" She smirked, throwing him straight into a tree… and then a Hornet's Nest landed right on top of the Bokoblin as he screamed and ran around said tree while the hornets stung him repeatedly.

"Ooooh, he's gonna need a lot of medicine." Lana said. "The hornet's venom can cause some pain that can last for up to thirty six hours."

"Thirty six hours?!" Yuri said in surprise.

"Dude… Hyrule's insects are next level." Kokichi said, where a wicked grin appeared on his face. "I love it! I could snag one of these bad boys and threaten a suspect if they don't comply!"

Shuichi noticed the Bokoblin swelling rather fast. "...What if they happen to be allergic to the venom?"

"Skill issue, bro. That's their problem!"

Shuichi sweatdropped. "I had to ask…"

"And you just… put up with their antics?" Weiss asked.

"Well, when you have a son like Kokichi, you just get used to it." Yuri said.

Yor shrugged. "He does care… in his own twisted way."

"Where's the magic in caring if I don't have some fun?" Kokichi grinned.

Groose sweatdropped. "That's… some weird logic."

"Hmm. Humans always do have a unique sense of character to them. Same is true with all species." Fi said.

"You're not wrong." Leone agreed as they came across a tightrope over an abyss along with a hornet's nest. Link immediately shot it down with a slingshot and then Weiss made an ice platform for them to get across safely.

"Hey down there!" A voice called out as they looked up to see Gorko waving to them. "Come up here for a second, there's something you gotta see!"

"Alright, just hang tight." Lana said as they walked around, only to discover a tight rope. A Bokoblin spotted them and started to carefully make his way toward them.

"I guess we're gonna have to fight him mid-tightrope." Chelsea said.

"...Or, maybe we could just knock him off by jostling the rope." Shuichi said.

Kokichi gasped. "O-Oh my Oum! My brother has finally seen the darkness!" He grinned wickedly as he knelt down, starting to shake the rope as the Bokoblin teetered a bit but kept his balance. "A little bit of jostling, a little bit of waving…"

He undid the rope and held it up. "Aaand this little pig faunus cried "wee wee wee" all the way home to his caring mother!" He swung his arm down, creating a "SNAP!" sound as a wave went straight for the Bokoblin that knocked him high into the air… and into the abyss below.

"I thought the little pig faunus went to market to get some bacon?" Anya wondered.

"You mind if I fix the rope? You're never that good with knot tying." Shuichi said.

"Oh please, I've been practicing." Kokichi said. "All I gotta do is make a square knot here and-"

The rope fell limp, swinging to the other side.

"...Huh. Well, I guess that's what happens when I learn how to make knots from grandmothers." Kokichi rubbed the back of his head with a goofball grin.

"Oh, for the love of…" Mine facepalmed.

"I guess there's no way to get to him now." Loid said.

"Nonsense!" Lana clapped her hands and made a platform appear next to a cliff wall. "We can get to him by other means!"

"You couldn't have done that earlier?" Laxus raised an eyebrow.

"I didn't think we needed to." Lana smiled as they climbed up and met up with Gorko.

"Ah! Glad you could make it! Now, you see this cube right here?" He asked, pointing toward a metallic cube. "I've been hearing about these cubes for the longest time but I never thought I'd run into them."

"Oh, these are Goddess Cubes!" Lana said.

"Yes, indeed! I read that the Goddess Hylia left these for the Hero of Legend. Something about… they have to hit it with a bright light or something…"

"A Skyward Strike." Fi said as Weiss immediately went into her Fierce Deity form and used a Skyward Strike of her own, striking the cube as it glowed brightly and left behind a pouch.

"Oh wow!" Gorko said with awe as Link picked up the pouch.

"Hmm… I could use this." He said, putting it on his belt.

"Well! Safe travels! I'm going to go see if there's anything else that's of interest." Gorko walked off. "By the way, there's a temple up ahead called the Skyview Temple! Not sure what's in there, I couldn't figure out how to open it up. If you do find a way to get in there, good luck!"

He walked away.

"So… Goddess Cubes, huh?" Groose wondered. "Sounds pretty neat."

"How come I've never heard of them?" Midna wondered to herself. "Oh, wait, this era's Link probably hogged them all to himself."

"What?!" Link said in surprise.

"For shame." Ravio nodded in agreement as even Wolf Link let out a few growls.

"For a Hero of Hyrule, you're sure greedy." Midna teased.

Link slumped a bit. "Not cool…" He mumbled as they walked off and found another Goddess Cube, where Fi used a Skyward Strike as a Piece of Heart appeared.

"Huh? What's that?" Kurome asked.

"A heart!" Anya smiled.

"With this, you can power yourselves up a bit." Lana said, picking it up and snapping her fingers as everyone glowed faintly.

They then walked over to Skyview Temple where they would see a switch above the doorway. "He couldn't be bothered to look up?" Cia wondered.

Lana shrugged. "I… got nothing."

Link aimed his slingshot at the switch, firing a Deku Seed into it to open the way forward. "Alright, we're good to go."

Weiss turned around. "Alright, let's go and-" She blinked, seeing Kotoko sitting on Masaru's back, Leone sitting on Wave's back and Akame's on Tatsumi's back. "...What… are you doing?"

"Well, considering we're going into potentially a dragon's den, we might as well train some of these guys up for the road ahead!" Leone said casually.

"I… don't think we're gonna be running into Argorok here." Lana said.

"Eh, if we do, we can just use his hide for meat." Cia shrugged.

"Woooow! Look at my second big bro go!" Laura said with her eyes sparkling in awe.

"Impressive…" Nesta mused, immediately pulling out her scroll. "Smile~"

"Aw mom…" Masaru chuckled.

"Wow!" Leone whistled. "For a thirteen year old boy, you sure do know how to do a lot of push ups without breaking a sweat."

Masaru smiled with pride. "Hehe~ I get that a lot! As the former Lil' Ultimate P.E. and P.E. King, doing stuff like pushups and running nonstop twenty four seven, three sixty five are not a problem for me!"

"Wh-whoa…!" Tatsumi said in surprise. "Lil' Ultimate P.E.? I mean… I've heard of Ultimates before, but I didn't know that L'il Ultimates were also a thing for you guys!"

"I have to admit… the idea of a "L'il Ultimate" is quite ambitious…" Kirumi mused.

"Well, you know what they saw, dream big." Shuichi said.

Kokichi grinned, his hands behind his head. "Go big or go home. Start 'em young!"

"You see, where we come from… there are two divisions in Hope's Peak Academy. A high school division and an elementary school division." Kotoko explained. "The elementary school division has, well, elementary school kids with talents scouted by Hope's Peak. Does it necessarily mean that we'd actually attend Hope's Peak and become a full fledged Ultimate? Not really. The Elementary school kids were called "L'il" Ultimates"."

"Wait, High School level and Elementary? Nothing for college students or middle school?" Kokoro wondered.

"I can get middle school." Kokichi said. "It's the middle child between elementary and high school and we all know middle children are often forgotten about, so Middle School Level Ultimates are probably in the sidelines and-"

"Oooor it could just be redundant to have a middle school level." Shuichi said. "Same with college level."

"Sheesh, ya gotta make a sad tale boring…" Kokichi mumbled.

"I don't think we have any of that in Remnant… which makes me wonder how you two and Kirumi are "Ultimates"." Leone said.

Kirumi smiled sweetly. "Oh. Back when miss Weiss was little, I was just another maid for Jacques, but I had a sweet relationship with the rest of his family, especially Weiss. She always looked up to me. One day, she thought of me like a super hero and said "Kirumi, you need a superhero title. I got it! The Ultimate Maid!"

Weiss's eyes widened. "Oh my… I forgot about that…"

Yor put her hands over her mouth. "Oh my gosh, that is so precious!"

Whitley chuckled. "Definitely sounds like her…"

"As for me, I wanted to be a little extra in my life! Ultimate Supreme Leader!"

As if you aren't already… Shuichi thought. "I was just doing detective work one day and a few of my fellow peers called me "The Ultimate Detective" because of my semblance and how I'm really good at it. I just ran with it." He shrugged.

"Sounds about right…" Leone nodded and turned her head to Yuri. "You got some good sons here."

"Yup. They're pretty good, even if a bit extra." Yuri chuckled.

Leone looked to Maki. "And you? How'd you get "Ultimate Assassin"?"

"...I'd… rather not talk about it."

"Ooookay!"

"Anyway, back then, my classmates often used to call me the "Lil Ultimate Drama" because of my incredible knowledge and talent for acting."

"Acting? So you used to be a child actress or something?" Leone asked.

Kotoko shrugged. "Well, you could say that…" She sighed. "But I decided to retire from my career at some point due to certain… complications."

"Whoa… what kind of complications, exactly?" Wave wondered.

Kotoko glanced at the side uncomfortably. "I… I don't wanna talk about it…"

"Nah, don't sweat it. You don't have to tell us if you don't want to." Leone said.

"Although…" Kotoko looked down at Masaru. "Come to think of it, now that we're already thirteen, don't you think we should have outgrown our former "L'il Ultimate" titles by then, Masaru?"

"Huh? Where'd this come from?"

"Oh, I've been thinking about this for a while ever since Kokoron and I introduced ourselves to that Kaede girl."

"Hmm… honestly, yeah, you have a good point, not to mention we're a bit too old to be called "Li'l Ultimate PE" or "Li'l Ultimate Drama"."

Kotoko chuckled. "I know right? Can't argue with that one either."

Masaru smiled proudly as he continued doing push ups. "With that said, maybe it's time for the Warriors of Hope to get new titles! Starting today, the Hero and the leader of the Warriors of Hope have now officially leveled up and evolved into the Ultimate Athlete!"

"Well, technically… I may not be working as an actress anymore…" She shrugged. "Eh, who cares? Just because I retired early from my career doesn't mean that I still can't put my acting skills to good use!" She giggled. "Alright! Right now, the Li'l Ultimate Drama has now evolved to the Ultimate Actress!"

"Hell yeah! We both leveled up!" Masaru high fived her.

"Hell yeah!"

Meanwhile, with Chiaki…

"Achoo!" Chiaki sneezed.

YOU DIED

"NO! Aww…" She pouted. "Why did I have to sneeze in the middle of a boss fight… ugh, curse you Elden Ring!"

Back with the others…

"Do you even know what the heck they're saying?" Groose whispered.

"Not really…" Link responded back.

"They grow up so fast…" Nesta giggled.

"Heh… well, I'm not gonna be outwitted by someone who's barely a teenager! Why, I can become an Ultimate myself if I wanted to." Wave began. "Since my semblance deals with water, I can be the Ultimate Water Bender or something like that! Heh, I'm not gonna be shown up by you!"

Leone smirked, giving him a wink. "It's cute when you talk all big, since you haven't done as many push ups as Tatsumi and Masaru here."

Wave grumbled while glaring at her. "Shut up…"

"But it's not his fault." Akame spoke up. "There's a considerable weight difference between me, Kotoko and Leone."

"Mmmph!/Aaah!" The four of them, plus Mine, had their eyes wide and their bodies frozen in fear.

POW!

"Huh…?" Akame painfully clutched the goose egg that formed on her head while staring at Leone in confusion, the latter's back turned to her with her fist raised and steam coming out of her fist while Mine was staring at Leone with a blank look.

"Yeah… you kinda deserved that one, sis." Kurome said while everyone else sweatdropped.

End BGM

"Soooo… ready to go in…?" Weiss asked.

"Yeah, I've been ready for a while. Let's go." Midna said as Wolf Link walked in as did everyone else.

However, Link hesitated as he looked at his sword before clenching his fist. I'll prove myself that I can wield the Goddess Sword… He thought to himself as he walked in proudly.

BGM: Skyview Temple (The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword)

"I have bad news. The scent for Zelda's location is gone. We won't be able to track her whereabouts here." Fi said.

"Did we make a wrong turn?" Groose asked.

"No… I don't think we did." Lana said as they walked down the hallways, where they would see cobwebs in front of them as Fi and Weiss cut through them.

"Hope you guys aren't arachnophobes." Cia said.

"Pah, I ain't scared of a spider!" Groose said proudly as they kept going down as they cut through some trees and Keese as they got to a locked door. However, Maki climbed up and cut through a Deku Baba that tried to bite her, then she found a crystal switch.

"Hmm? Curious…" Maki mused as she hit the switch, causing the door to be open.

"Aw sweet!" Masaru grinned.

"I guess that opened the door." Maki said as she hopped down as they walked in, only to discover an eye in a wall.

"Eeeek!" Anya yelped and hid behind Loid.

"Ah… I know what to do." Ravio said, pulling out a bow and fired an arrow, striking the eye… but it did nothing. "Eh? Usually that works."

"That's weird… doesn't that usually do the trick?" Lana wondered.

"I wonder if this is immune…" Cia guessed as Cardin walked up to the platform, rubbing his chin in thought.

"Eh… I got nothing." He shrugged, only to notice the eye followed his arm movement. "Hmm?" He moved his arm to the left, causing the eye to move in that direction. He moved it in a zig zag pattern, which the eye moved again.

Heh! Cardin smirked, quickly moving his arm in a circle as the eye followed, only to get dizzy. "Heheheh! Sucker…" He said, and then the eye dropped and the door opened up. "...Oh!"

"Eyyy, way to go, boss!" Sky said.

Cardin rubbed the back of his head, chuckling. "I, uh… meant to do that…"

"Oh riiiiight, these ones were way different." Lana said as they walked through and came across a room where they would see a green Bokoblin wandering around, foliage on the walls that can be climbed on, along with some Walltulas, they would also see a locked door up ahead along with two branching doors.

"Okay… I see a locked door up ahead. That means we gotta find a key." Midna said.

"Please." Weiss chuckled as she walked over to the door, slashing away the green Bokoblin as she hopped over the gap and conjured up an ice key. She inserted it into the lock… only for the ice key to snap in half. "Gah! Aww…"

"Yeah, that's not going to work. Locks work differently in our world." Lana said.

"Maybe it needs a good kick." Chelsea suggested as Yor smiled and then immediately took off running, jumping over and kicked the locked door… only it did nothing.

"Huh?" Yor wondered as she tried to yank it off. "Mmph! Nnngh! Gah! …Nothing?"

"It's enchanted! The only thing that's gonna break are the keys here. No amount of strength is gonna yank it off!" Lana continued.

"You couldn't have said something earlier?! In case you didn't notice, most of us aren't native to Hyrule!" Weiss said.

Lana sweatdropped, rubbing her head with a chuckle. "Right… my bad…"

Hy… what? Groose thought as a Walltula leapt off of the foliage and landed on his neck. "Huh…? AAAAACK! GET IT OFF, GET IT OFF, GET IT OFF!" He yelled, trying to get it off of him where Maki brushed it off of him and crushed it with her foot.

"There. It's dead."

"Oh… it was just a spider? I thought it was just something else… creepy!" Groose shuddered.

"Eh… I've seen bigger." Weiss said. "Alright, let's go find this enchanted key. Should be around here somewhere."

With a nod, they all split up as the Ultimates, Loud, Yor and Yuri climbed the foliage and discarded some Walltulas, the Thunder Legion and CRDL hopped down and discovered a crystal switch, when, once Zapple zapped it, a door opened up as they curiously went inside.

Fi, meanwhile, flew over and opened up a treasure chest in the room, revealing a map. "Hmm, so that is what it was that I was sensing." She mused, noticing various markings on it. "Hmm? What is this?"

The others walked through the other door, cutting through some webbing and went toward a ledge, only for the kids to spot a small entryway as they hopped down and crawled through the crawl space as Mine decided to do the same thing, all of them seeing a crystal switch where Mine shot at it… only it raised the water level.

"Oh!" Weiss mused, gears turning in her head as Mine and the kids climbed through the foliage and hopped out.

"Okay, I wasn't expecting to activate a water trap." Mine admitted. "Sorry about that."

"Nah, it was refreshing!" Laura smiled.

"Felt great!" Albedo smiled as well, then Weiss put her hand on the ice and together with Whitley, they froze the water solid and then Lana made a platform where they climbed over it and came into contact with a larger Skulltula.

"Eeeek!" Anya yelped and hid behind Kokoro. "B-b-big sc-scary spider!"

"I've never seen a spider that big before…" Kurome said in surprise.

"You've never seen a Scuttlebug eat a Mega Mushroom, have you?" Weiss mentioned.

"Have you?" Whitley asked.

"Yes…" Weiss shuddered. "It wasn't pretty…"

Cia snapped her fingers as dark fire wrapped around the Skulltula and burnt it alive, incinerating it on the spot. "There we go." She said as Laura walked over and waved her arms around to the two eyes to make them dizzy, and then they fell, opening a cell door as Mine walked over and opened up the chest.

"Alright, come to mama, what did we-... ARE YOU KIDDING ME!" Mine yelled as she pulled out a small key. "Is this some kind of stupid joke?! Who puts a damn key in a chest?!"

"Someone with a sense of humor." Weiss said.

"I believe that's the key we need." Lana said as they turned around and walked off.

"Think of it this way, Mine. We solved a puzzle, so we were rewarded with a key!" Laura smiled.

"How is that supposed to make me feel better?!"

"First time?" Midna chuckled as they walked off and regrouped with the others as Mine opened up the door and found themselves in a larger room.

"Woooow… spacious." Groose said.

"Okay, split up. We'll probably find something of use in here." Weiss said as with a nod, they went in separate directions as Weiss walked through with ATMC, Link and Lana into the building in the middle.

Pause BGM

Once they walked in, they would see some skeletal remains in the room… until it started reanimating.

BGM: Stalfos Battle (The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword)

The Stalfos roared, readying his two swords in action as everyone else readied themselves. "Here we go!" Lana said, her hand crackling with electricity.

Weiss immediately lunged at the Stalfos, impaling it with Myrtenaster as it then countered her, forcing her to back up to avoid getting hit as Akame, Tatsumi and Link flanked it as they slashed it from the side, then Chelsea threw her needles at it to impale the bones, and then Mine shot it in the head.

"You're done!" Lana snapped her fingers as a thunderbolt struck the Stalfos, making the skeletal creature stumble.

End BGM

Unbeknownst to them, Ghirahim was watching the fight through a hole in the wall. "Hmph… perhaps I could lend a hand." He said, opening his mouth in an oval shape as music came out of him, sounding just like the Ocarina of Time.

BGM: Song of Healing (STL Ocarina)

As Ghirahim played, the Stalfos glowed as they would see skin growing on the bones. Weiss's eyes widened. "Oh my gosh… it's… growing skin?!"

"No… whoever's playing that… it's reviving him!" Lana said in horror as she looked up to see Ghirahim. "Ghirahim!"

Ghirahim said nothing, continuing to play the song while casually flipping her off as the Stalfos turned into a warrior filled with golden armor, a scarab beetle attached to his wrist as he wielded both swords, getting in a stance.

End BGM

Ghirahim stopped playing, smirking at them before disappearing from them. "Wait!" Lana exclaimed.

"He… he revived a Stalfos?" Mine asked.

"Yes… now he's an ancient warrior of the past, back when there was a great war before Hylia created Skyloft." Lana readied herself. "Be careful… the warriors were no laughing matter back then. To him, this is just another battle in his prime."

BGM: Remnant of Twilight (Hyrule Warriors)

Great Warrior - Ancient Hylian Warrior

The Hylian Warrior lunged, where they would learn very quickly that he was faster compared to when he was just a Stalfos, swinging his swords as Link blocked with his shield, but the force was enough to make Link stumble.

Weiss quickly stabbed him a few times with her rapier, but the Hylian Warrior quickly parried her and then went to slice her, but she backed away while creating an ice clone, where the clone shattered to bits but the warrior lunged, quickly slashing at Weiss as she tried to defend herself, quickly bringing out Eiskönigin and parrying him, knocking a sword off of him.

However, the warrior aimed his wrist and let the Beetle fly out of his wrist as it latched onto her face. "Mmmph!" Weiss grunted, feeling the Beetle's claws dig into her cheeks. "Aaagh!" She cried as the warrior picked up his sword while Weiss dropped hers, trying to get the Beetle off of her while trying not to tear her face into pieces.

Akame saw this, immediately activating her semblance and lunging ahead, slashing away to knock the warrior away while Tatsumi called out his Klefki.

"Klef Klef!" Klefki handed him the keys as Tatsumi immediately picked one.

"Open! Gate of the Lion! Leo!"

Loke immediately burst into action, jumping in and Regulus Punching the warrior away while Mine's hand glowed and put it on Tatsumi's shoulder,, buffing him up as he lunged straight for the warrior. She did the same with Link as he felt himself power up as he charged forward.

Chelsea jumped in to help Weiss get the Beetle off of her face. "Does it hurt?"

"Ith clothing ith grip aw mah keeks… aw worthenin'!"

I see here… it's trying to crush her jaw! Chelsea thought as she grabbed both ends and tried to unhook the Beetle, however it was putting up a fight.

The Warrior blocked Akame and Tatsumi's advances, slashing them away as Mine shot at him as he charged at her, only for a wall to form in front of him as Lana vaulted over it and shot a bolt of electricity to make the Warrior stumble and then she sweep kicked him.

The Warrior sprang back up and slashed at Lana, but she gracefully avoided the attack as Link jumped in and shield bashed him. The Warrior proceeded to counter him but he jumped back and countered with his sword.

"Mmm… got it!" Chelsea pried the Beetle off of her and tossed it to the side.

Weiss shook it off before she turned to the Warrior. "Now you've made me mad." She said, going into her Fierce Deity form and lunging with her weapon, immediately snapping her fingers as a hand of ice came out of the ground and grabbed the Warrior as she then slashed through him in the blink of an eye, landing behind him.

Darkness overtook the warrior as he turned back into a Stalfos before falling to the ground in death.

End BGM

"Hmph. Good riddance." Weiss said, turning back to normal as Tatsumi and Loke high fived before the latter disappeared.

Resume Skyview Temple BGM

"Hmm? Hey guys!" Chelsea said as she picked up the Beetle. "We could probably use this!"

"Yeah, we can!" Lana agreed as Chelsea walked over and handed it to Weiss.

"To the victor go the spoils!"

"Um… while I'm flattered…" Weiss handed it to Link. "I believe he could use it more than I could."

"Oh… well, if you say so!" Chelsea smiled as Link equipped it to his arm.

"Perfect fit… interesting." He said as he decided to take it for a test run, making it fly around before it decided to land… on Weiss's scalp.

"...Can I help you?" Weiss asked with a raised eyebrow.

"I think it likes you." Lana said.

"I'm not a huge fan of those wanting to claw my face off." Weiss said, taking it off of her head and giving it back to Link as they walked back outside, then Link cut through the dangling boxes held together by rope, freeing several rupees, a fairy that Lana immediately bottled up, and then the Beetle went around the holes in the walls, collecting rupees as it dropped down and landed right back on Weiss's head.

"Huh…?" Link wondered.

"Would you get off of me!" Weiss said, taking it off and tossing it to Link, putting the Beetle away as they regrouped with the others, with Nesta holding a key.

"So, we took care of a few Skulltulas!" Kotoko said. "How about you?"

"Took on a warrior." Mine responded.

"Aw maaaaan… we missed that?" Kotoko pouted as they walked toward the locked door, taking care of a few Deku Babas and made their way into the next room, where Midna located a big treasure chest and teleported toward it, opening it up to unveil a golden carving.

"Huh? …That's new." Midna mused as she teleported back, to see Cardin messing around with the rope, swinging it repeatedly to get a green Bokoblin to fall into the abyss.

"There we go!" He smiled as they went across to see the big door up ahead.

"In this era, there were no "Boss keys", there was just a carving to put into this door." Cia told Midna.

"And I just have to move it around until it fits in properly? Seems like more work if you ask me…" She said.

"Well, hey, what's one last puzzle to work with?" Ravio shrugged.

"I guess so…" Midna put it in. "There we go."

Inside…

"So… you mean to tell me that Her Majesty woke up, managed to get off of you and ran into that door?" Ghirahim asked.

"Yes. She disappeared into the spring before I could get my hands on her. Unfortunately, Hylia's divine power prevented me from going further into the spring."

"Blast that Hylia… making sure no dark forces could enter those sacred springs." Ghirahim mumbled before smirking. "However, all is not lost. I know where she's going. She's heading straight for Death Mountain… or the Eldin Volcano, as that was not called Death Mountain in this era for a while…"

"What shall we do?" Wizzro asked as they heard the doors opening up.

"Cut her off. I'm going to toy with them for a while." Ghirahim said as Wizzro nodded, disappearing into the darkness right as everyone walked in.

BGM: Ghirahim's Theme (The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword)

"Well well, I expected a crowd to come join me." Ghirahim said. "I assume that you got my message?"

"Young Link's in critical condition because of you!" Lana glared.

"Ah, Lana. So nice to see you again. Why, if I had the audacity to bring Zant here, it'd be a touching reunion, wouldn't you agree?"

"Sorry to burst your bubble, but Zant's good as dead!" Midna said.

"Ah… well, I can just have him here in spirit if I wanted to." Ghirahim said. "I must say, I'm noticing I'm way outnumbered." He would then spot Mercury. "Ah, the cyborg."

"You…" Mercury growled with anger.

"All of us against you! What are you gonna do about it?" Kokichi asked.

"Hmm… whatever shall I do? Ah yes!" Ghirahim looked at Anya. "Perhaps the pink haired young lady could use some help…"

Suddenly, in the blink of an eye, a blur came through and grabbed Anya. "Yah!" Anya yelped as they immediately turned to see Donovan holding Anya hostage.

"Anya!" Loid yelled in shock.

"Where did he come from?!" Yuri said in surprise.

"Donovan?!" Weiss said in shock.

"Y'all better back off or she's drained!" He smirked as he spotted Oran glaring at him. "Hmm? Wait a moment, now that I'm getting a better look at you… you seem familiar." He said as his eyes widened, flashing back to meeting him in Dark Ruby's world. "Ooooh, I remember now! Hey, Oran!"

Oran responded by growling at him.

Donovan smiled, scruffing up Anya's hair. "Picture this for me, will ya? Doesn't this little lady look a lot like Mr. and Mrs. Featherbeak from our old village? You know… pink hair, green eyes?"

"Huh…?" Oran wondered.

"...What?" Anya asked. "What do you-"

"Hush, girl! …Yes, I remember now. I remember draining her mother after which I killed her father… and then of course, I killed your parents. You remember that, Oran?"

Oran's body shook with anger, his eyes getting angrier as Weiss immediately took notice of this. "Oran, don't!"

"Ah yes, it's coming back to me now! They all died for nothing because they. Were. Nothing." He smirked, watching Oran curl up into a ball, charging up a Spin Dash and lunged at Donovan, only for him to grab him. "Gotcha! Now, I recall that back in that good for nothing's dark world that we'd kill each other later… and you know what? It's later."

His amulet glowed, Grimm Wings sprouting behind him as he kicked open the door and took Anya and Oran away.

"ANYA! ORAN!" Loid yelled as he instinctively ran after him, along with Kokichi, Shuichi, Yor, Yuri, Kokoro and Chelsea. Laxus immediately giving chase as well.

"Oran…" Weiss groaned, trying to decide what to do. Go after Oran and knock that hyena down or let the others, especially Laxus, handle it. "Ooooh… Ruby's gonna kill me if I don't go and-"

Whitley put her hand on Weiss's shoulders. "Loid's got it covered. He also has Laxus going after him. He'll be fine."

"Oooh… right… I just won't reveal this to Ruby…" She said, taking a deep breath.

End BGM

"Now that hardly seems fair… he only took two away when he was supposed to deal with all of you so I could have a fairer fight." Ghirahim chuckled. "Oh well… I guess I'll do things my own way." He said, putting his mouth in an oval shape.

BGM: Nocturne of Shadow (The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time)

"What in the name of Hylia are you doing now?!" Lana wondered as Ghirahim surrounded himself in a dark aura, clapping his hands as darkness swelled within his body as he stopped singing.

"Making this interesting!" He said, unleashing waves of dark energy to knock several of them out of the room, creating a dark barrier, leaving Weiss, Maki, Kurome, Link and Cia by themselves as Ghirahim tossed away his cloak, snapping his fingers as a dark cloak emerged from his neck.

Outside of the room, dark portals opened up behind the group as ReDeads and Stalfos rose up from the ground.

"And now… I beat you with an inch of your lives. At least try to make this entertaining for me." He said, conjuring up a dark greatsword.

BGM: Lord Ghirahim (The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword)

Demon Lord - Lord Ghirahim

Weiss immediately went into her Fierce Deity mode. Interesting… that will prove to be quite problematic for me. He thought calmly as Weiss lunged and swung her weapon, but Ghirahim calmly blocked.

"I must say, love the new weapon. What do you call this?"

"Khione!"

"Fascinating…" Ghirahim mused as he slashed Weiss away and swung his sword down, creating waves of dark energy at her as Maki flanked him on the right and slashed him, knocking him away as he snapped his fingers, creating orbs of dark energy and sent them flying toward her.

She got in a stance and slashed through them right as Link slashed at Ghirahim, but he blocked the sword easily. "Ahahahaha!" Ghirahim laughed, tossing his greatsword in the air as Link slashed him, but he caught the blade between his fingertips.

"Nnngh!"

"Is this your sword? Why, compared to the Goddess Sword, I'd say this is more like a toothpick!" He said, as the dark greatsword came down and cut through the sword, breaking it and leaving Link with just the hilt, causing him to gasp as Ghirahim picked the sword up.

"You…!"

"Face it… without your precious Goddess Sword, you're NOTHING!" He kicked Link in the gut and then roundhouse kicked him shortly after to knock him on his side. "And your shield might as well just be cardboard!" He swung his sword down, but Link blocked it… however, it pierced through the shield as well.

Cia immediately brought out her whip and swung it, grabbing a hold of Ghirahim's arm and yanked him away from Link as she then stomped on the ground as dark energy blasts consumed Ghirahim, then firing dark orbs at him.

Ghirahim laughed. "Useless!" He said, striking back at Cia as she conjured up a dark shield to block the attack, sliding back while Kurome slashed Ghirahim to the side as Weiss front flipped and swung her sword down as Ghirahim jumped back as Khione stabbed the ground and created an icy shockwave that froze Ghirahim's feet.

However, he chuckled and teleported away, slashing at Weiss from the side as she was knocked down, but she got back up and swung her sword, knocking Ghirahim back as Cia conjured up a sword of darkness and tossed it to Link.

"Here, use this!" She said as Link nodded, getting back up and running ahead, side by side with Maki as they both swung their swords into him as he backflipped right as Weiss used a Skyward Strike.

"I have to say, you're giving me a workout here, Weiss. Are you sure you're not the real leader of team RWBY? You're far more fun compared to the rose petal!"

"Don't underestimate her!" Weiss said, firing electric ice bolts into him that made him back up but he immediately blocked the other shots with his sword, only for Kurome to flank him and slashed him away.

"What's wrong, Kurome? Don't you have your gravity sword? Why don't you use it?"

"You're not worth the effort!" Kurome glared.

"Not worth it, you say? Why, I'm appalled that you think that… maybe I should make it worth your while." He snapped his fingers as dark swords surrounded Kurome, then they pointed their blades at her and thrusted, only for Kurome to jump over them… only to get impaled in the back by a hidden one.

"Agh!" She grunted as she fell on the ground, the dark sword disappearing as she lunged directly at Ghirahim and slashed him, but he teleported away right as Maki slashed him from behind, only for the two to clash against each other.

Ghirahim chuckled. "I'd love to stay and chat, but… I'd say this was more than enough time. Until we meet again!" He said, snapping his fingers, but not before giving Weiss a devious smirk.

"So what do we call that, a draw?" Maki asked.

"I'm not sure…" Weiss went back to normal. "I just hope the others are okay…"

Meanwhile…

Donovan dropped Oran to the ground near a cliff, still holding on to Anya. He let out a growl. "Let her go!"

"Very poor choice of words." He smirked, tossing Anya off the cliff.

"ANYA!" Oran yelled as Donovan chuckled, getting in a stance and doing a "come at me" gesture as Oran's blood boiled. "You… YOU…!"

BGM: Silent Guardians (Hyrule Warriors)

Heinous Hyena - Donovan

Oran screamed, immediately going into his shell and spin dashing into him, only he backhanded him away into the woods as Donovan approached him calmly with a wicked smirk. Oran got up with a snarl, proceeding to flank him and spin dashing into his head from the side, bouncing away as Oran got up, pulling out a metal bow that Ruby had made for him.

He growled, immediately collapsing it to form a spear as he immediately went into a Spin Dash and jumped into the air, coming out of his shell and thrusting down to hit him with the spear, only he caught the tip of it with his fingertips and used his other hand to grab onto Oran's arm.

"Nnngh!" Oran grunted.

"What's the matter? You seem like a strong warrior… but then again, you're just a whole little shrimp! But what fascinates me is that Ghirahim told me you have a new family with you! Maybe I can go pay them a visit, dropping your corpse on the front doorstep… and I can lead them into the woods where I can drain them all!"

"Rrrrgh!"

"By the way, some of your family doesn't have auras, correct? Byleth? Dorothea? Bereto? Rosalina? Maybe I can kill them first with no aura protecting them! All it will take is one little ambush when they least expect it! But maybe… maybe I can pay Ruby a visit, I heard she's not herself at the moment, maybe I can toy with her!"

"SHUT UP!" Oran yelled, freeing his spear and stabbing Donovan in the gut.

"Mmmph!" He grunted as his grip loosened, where Oran freed himself and jumped back.

Mmm… I feel a bit weak… that dumb semblance of his…! He winced.

"Goodness, you do have some spunk in ya!" He touched his amulet as Grimm Claws came out. "Finally, someone I can actually clobber and it's not that dainty princess I work with! Give me your best shot, squirt! I'm sure you can hit better than Aria!"

Oran lunged, both of them swinging their respective weapons at each other as Oran struck him a few times as Donovan did the same, the latter smirking sadistically while Oran scowled, both of them striking each other with ferocity.

"You got some spirit, kid!" He touched his amulet again, Grimm Wings coming out as he flew up. Oran switching the spear back into its bow mode as he fired a flurry of arrows, infusing each element of dust as Fire Arrows, Ice Arrows, Lightning Arrows and Ground Arrows as a few of them struck Donovan.

Oran went for a Gravity Arrow, only for Donovan to swoop in and slammed into him on the ground, pinning him to the ground as he delivered swift punches into him with Oran getting no time to block the attacks as Donovan punched him in the gut and face.

"Hahaha! Oh, this is ever so fun… but this is over!" He said, grabbing Oran by the ankle and walking over to the cliff.

Donovan smiled, tossing Oran off the cliff. "Toodle-loo! Say hi to the kid for me! See you in hell! I'll be off saying hi to your family when I get back to my time… I'll have a friendly chat with your red headed sister! Hahahahahahaha!"

Oran's eyes opened, growling. "You… you… I WON'T LET THAT HAPPEN!" He declared, as his armadillo shell glowed brightly… before white wings sprouted out of his shell and flew up into the air.

Donovan turned around with hands in his pockets. "That was easy." He said.

"HEY!"

Donovan gasped, turning around. "What…?!"

BGM: Fairy Tail Theme (Fairy Tail)

Oran flew, flying over and punching him in the face to knock him down. "Rrrrgh!" He grunted as Oran switched his bow back to the spear and impaled him in the gut. "Aagh!" He growled as Oran proceeded to punch him in the face repeatedly… until Donovan pulled back his mechanical foot, a retractable blade coming out of it and sliced Oran's stomach to kick him off of him.

"Heh… you're full of surprises, aren't ya!" Donovan smirked. "You're still struggling though… heh…" He chuckled as he winced. "Still… you got me pretty good, admittedly." He said, holding on to his wound. "I'll leave and lick my wounds for now… we'll fight again sometime."

He turned around and walked off. "Oh, and forget about what I said about me killing you. I'd rather just torment you from here on out. Later, shell boy!" He ran off, disappearing into the woods.

"Rrrgh… AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" Oran let out an angry wail, struggling to keep standing… but right as he was about to fall over, Laxus gently caught him, while having Anya on his shoulder.

"Easy now…" He said as he saw the wings. "Those wings look familiar…"

Back in Laxus's era…

"Happy, my boy. What seems to be troubling you?" Makarov asked.

"I… I feel useless…" He said. "Everyone's got these great semblances and my best friend is a pyromaniac… but me? I'm… worthless. I don't even have a semblance…"

Makarov smiled. "Do not worry about that. I have just the thing for you." He said, aiming his staff at Happy's back and chanted a spell as wings came off of Happy's back.

"Whoa!" Happy exclaimed. "Are those… wings?!"

"Yes, indeed. They're not a semblance, but this will allow you to have the power of flight for the rest of your life. It might even help Natsu getting around with his motion sickness."

Happy's eyes sparkled. "Awesome! Thanks Makarov!" He hugged him and then took off running. "Hey Natsu, check this out!"

Laxus leaned against a wall. "You sure about this, gramps?"

"I'm positive." Makarov nodded. "Keep this a secret, but I'm not going to give his magic away. I feel like it'll help him on the road ahead no matter what."

"I see…"

"And, whenever he has the chance to get a date, I made it that so that when the time comes-"

Back in the present…

Laxus softly smiled. "I thought I sensed some familiarity with you. I meant to bring it up, but I kept forgetting about it because of that Dark Ruby wench." He said as he chuckled. "Still, I never would have imagined that Happy's bloodline would keep those wings."
