Everyone free fell through the region as Weiss snapped her fingers to create ice platforms for everyone to land on and slid their way down to the starting area, then Weiss turned back to normal.
"There we go." Weiss said.
"So… this is Eldin Volcano…" Link said as he stared at it, a bead of sweat rolled down his forehead from the heat.
"Hoo booooy…" Groose fanned himself. "We couldn't have landed somewhere cooler?"
"Mmmm, this is the right temperature!" Leone said, stretching. "I feel like I can just turtle right here and call it good!"
"Next to lava?" Lana raised an eyebrow.
"She's from Vacuo just like the rest of us." Akame said with her team nodding.
"Althoooough we're used to the cold unlike her." Mine said.
"Hey, you guys are from Vacuo too! You should be freezing in cold weather!"
"We don't wear tube tops in wintery areas!" Mine shot back.
Leone frowned. "And what's wrong with tube tops?"
"Do you see anyone wearing such ludicrous outfits in the winter? I didn't think so."
"She's got you there." Wave said. "Not to mention you still kinda flaunt it even in the Winter Ops uniform."
"Has she gotten used to the cold yet?" Akame asked.
"Depends on the day. Seryu keeps teasing her about it every time Leone complains about the cold." Kurome responded.
"Sounds about right…"
"So hot…" Anya complained.
"Yeah, I agree with the little one. How are you guys not complaining?" Groose asked.
"I'm used to it." Weiss said. "Helps that I go into the Koopa Kingdom every so often these days."
"The what Kingdom?"
"...I'm not going to question why you go into a place filled with active volcanoes." Maki said.
"Alright! Now let's go find Zelda. I'm sure she's not that far." Cardin said.
"I hope you're right." Link agreed.
"We should exercise caution. There is no telling what this place has in store for us." Fi cautioned as they walked off, with Anya climbing on Loid's back.
"That lava scares me…"
"Don't worry, I'm not going to let some scary lava harm you." Loid reassured.
"Wait, hold up a second! There's a Goddess Cube right there!" Lana pointed out.
"Right off the bat? Interesting!" Midna said as Weiss used a Snow Strike to hit the Goddess Cube, where it glowed brightly.
"Oh wow, I didn't think that'd work." Weiss said.
"I mean, it's technically a Skyward Strike in your own way…" Lana shrugged as Weiss picked up a Silver Rupee lying there.
"A Silver Rupee? I always thought they came in green, blue and red."
"Not all of them do! This one's worth a hundred rupees."
"A HUNDRED?!" Weiss yelled.
"A hundred Rupees, good Oum…" Shuichi said.
"So if we converted a Silver Rupee to Lien…"
Kaching!
Lien symbols appeared on Kokichi's eyes. "Ooooh, I smell a fortune!"
"Doooown boy…" Shuichi said, bopping his head to snap him back to reality.
"Well, it's true… I've heard some people go to Hyrule just to gather Rupees and convert them to Lien and they come off rich as hell!"
"Probably the higher ups in Atlas just making their fortune even more inflated." Akame said.
"The sad thing is, I can see that happening…" Kurome groaned just thinking about it.
I'm glad dad's dead, otherwise he'd probably make a profit out of it… Whitley thought.
"Unfortunately, I could see Jacques doing something like this… although, we don't have to worry about him anymore." Kirumi smiled as she helped Weiss up and walked further, when suddenly, two moles popped up from the ground.
"Oh, just our luck… there's more red creatures going around here! That's lovely!"
"Wait, Ledd… I don't think these are those red creatures going around…"
"Oh? …Oh, they're shaped just like that one that ran through this place like a Keese out of hell!"
"Yeah, didn't even bother saying hello… the nerve of that one."
"Wait, what did she look like?" Link asked.
"Eh… yellow hair, looked like she was terrified of something, I dunno… didn't get a good look at her."
"Cobal, you think we should trust these guys?"
"Why not? They're not monsters-" Cobal looked over at Kokichi. "Although that one kinda creeps me out a bit."
Kokichi smirked. "Oh, I'm creepy, eh? I'll show you creepy… nishishshi~!"
"Oh boy…" Shuichi sighed.
What kind of laugh is THAT? Everyone who wasn't related to Kokichi wondered to themselves, even Fi looked a bit uneasy.
Glad I wasn't called creepy for a change… Cia thought.
"Anyway, if you're looking for the lady, just keep going straight from here. You can't miss her… though I'd be careful, those monsters have been poppin' up all over the place." Cobal said.
"Although if you're into treasure, just don't get in our way. We Mogmas love treasure!" Ledd added as they walked off.
"Mogmas?" Weiss wondered.
"Yeah, they love treasure way too much." Lana explained.
"Who wouldn't?" Groose chuckled.
As they walked down the pathway, Kotoko backed up a bit to be side by side with her sister. "Hey, sis?"
"Yeah?"
"I've been meaning to ask you something…"
"Hmm? Oh! Sure, what is it?"
"I'm curious. How was Team ATMC like when you guys first formed?"
"Hmm…"

BGM: Nyuutai Kibou (Akame Ga Kill)
"Mmm…" Mine narrowed her eyes at Tatsumi.
Wh-what is this…? Tatsumi wondered.
Mine turned around in a huff. "Fail." She smirked. "Based on your face, I can tell you're not cut out to be full fledged Huntsman material yet."
"H-huh?!" Tatsumi looked at her angrily, balling his fists in anger. "What did you say?!"
"Hmph! You heard me!"
Chelsea gently caressed Akame's hair. "I already knew that you were cute the first time I saw you at the entrance ceremony, but you're adorable from up close, Akame!"
"...Why are you touching me?" Akame asked in confusion.
"Oh, right! Let me introduce myself again. My name is Chelsea Neves! And since we're now together on the same team together, I hope that we get along!" She pulled out a strawberry flavored lollipop from her pocket. "Here, this is for you."
Akame gasped, her eyes sparkling as she drooled a little where she gleefully took it. "Welcome to Team ATMC!"
"Did she just win Akame's heart with a lollipop?!" Tatsumi yelled in shock.
"I guess the whole initiation test earlier must've made her hungry!"
"Hmm?" Chelsea turned her head to see Mine and Tatsumi, but laid her eyes on Mine's… lack of features. "Oh, my goodness! You're flat as a board, aren't you?"
Mine growled in anger. "SHUT UUUUUP!"
Tatsumi opened up the room in ATMC's dorm room. "Hey, Mine! Are you gonna sleep all day or are you gonna-" He paused, seeing Mine in her underwear. "Uuuuh…"
Mine stared at him with a blank expression on her face.
In the courtyards of Shade Academy…
Chelsea giggled. "And then I told my mom-"
"KYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" Mine screamed, blasting a hole in the dorm building.
"Hmm?" Akame turned her head.
Back with those two…
Tatsumi trembled in shock and fear on the ground while there was a large gaping hole behind him. "Y-you… YOU COULD HAVE KILLED ME!"
"WELL, I MISSED!" Mine shot back as she had an embarrassed blush on her face while holding Pumpkin in her hand. "You filthy pervert! How dare you dodge when you know you're supposed to die!"
"Oh, whatever!" Tatsumi pointed at her. "If you hadn't slept in so late, then Akame wouldn't have ordered to come to our dorm room and get yoooooooouuuuuuu-" He paled as he noticed Mine charging up another shot at him with Pumpkin.
"Maybe so, but haven't you heard a thing called KNOCKING?!"

"Well, let's put it this way… we bonded right out of the gate." Mine lied.
"...You were at each other's throats, weren't you?"
Mine flinched in surprise. "N-no! W-we were-"
"You flinched~! That confirms it~!" She teased.
Mine slumped. "Okay, yeah… but I almost killed Tatsumi only for a couple of times."
Kotoko raised an eyebrow. "...Only for a couple of times?"
"To be honest with ya, I was kinda a bit… rough around the edges when I first started out on my journey to become a Huntress back when I was still at Shade Academy with my teammates."
"Rough around the edges…?" Kotoko asked in confusion.
"Aheheh… weeeeell…"
Pause BGM
"To be honest with you, I want to prove myself to be more than just a hotshot gunwoman in Vacuo. I want to make a name for myself… I want to make the Strauss name proud." Mine said. "That's why I chose to become a huntress."
"That sounds reasonable." Tatsumi nodded.
"...That said, once I manage to successfully graduate from Shade Academy and become a full-fledged Huntress, I'll work hard to earn lots of reward money and grow old to live a life of luxury after my retirement! AHAHAHAHAHAHA!" She laughed haughtily like a noblewoman.
"Grrr… forget I asked!" Tatsumi growled.
Resume BGM
Kotoko sweatdropped. "You… still want to do that?"
"Honestly, I changed my mind… for personal reasons." She admitted.
"Ah, that's fine, I won't pry on that." Kotoko said. "Still, kinda insightful on how you used to be."
"We all grow."
Weiss chuckled hearing that. "Boy, do I know that." She said as they walked through a cave, taking care of some fire Keese and made their way further into the cave, finding another Mogma with Bomb Flowers.
"Huh? You guys look new… you're not affiliated with those red guys, are you?"
"Nope, not in the slightest." Mercury said.
"Ah, okay… good! I was worried there for a second. Name's Kortz, nice to meet ya! And if you're lookin' to explode something, these Bomb Flowers will do the trick!"
Weiss blinked. "...Excuse me, wha-... BOMB Flowers?"
"Yeah. What, did you think they grew on trees? Get out of here with that nonsense!"
Hyrule's getting wilder all the time… Weiss sweatdropped.
"You can throw 'em, you can roll 'em… do what you want. Bomb Flowers grow really fast too… oh, and if you pluck 'em, they automatically ignite, soooooo… if you value your arms, you'd want to get that away from you."
"Oh please! As if these things can automatically light up." Wave said as he picked one up. "See, totally-... oh hey, the fuse is lit. OH CRAP, THE FUSE IS LIT!" He immediately conjured up water to try and extinguish the fuse… only it didn't do anything. He paled and quickly threw it at a pile of rocks, which exploded and freed up a Red Chu Chu.
"I have something better than regular ol' Bomb Flowers." Cia said, opening up a portal and pulling out a large bag, and in said bag was a Bombchu. "Ta-dah~!"
"...A mouse?" Shuichi raised an eyebrow as Cia wound it up and said Bombchu took off toward a small crevice in the wall and exploded instantly, blowing up said wall and freeing some rupees.
Kokichi's eyes sparkled. "EXPLODING mice!" He said as he smiled creepily. "Yes, this gives me IDEAS!"
"You want some? How many do you want, five, ten… twenty?"
Kokichi smiled gleefully. "I'll take your entire stock!"
Cia snickered. "Here, have 'em all. The bag's enchanted to the point they can regenerate."
Shuichi's eyes widened. "Kokichi, NO!"
Kokichi grinned gleefully, taking the bag for himself. "Kokichi, YES!"
"Oh boy…" Yuri shook his head.
Lana groaned. "Why do I feel like you created a monster?"
"What you talkin' about, sis? He's already a gremlin!"
Lana sweatdropped. "Fair point, I guess…"
"There is a one hundred percent probability that someone is going to lose a limb from this…" Fi said, looking at Kokichi warily.
"Oooh, I'm gonna be having some fuuuuun~!" Kokichi grinned, putting the bag away as Link decided to throw a bomb into a rock wall, causing the boulders to explode that would lead the way out as everyone walked off.
"...That boy with the exploding mice ain't right." Kortz grimaced.
They walked out of the cave and kept walking along the path, where Chelsea took a detour and crawled underneath a rock to find a small treasure chest, and opened it up to pick up a Red Rupee.
"Oooh, nice!" Chelsea smiled and crawled back through while Fi used a Skyward Strike on a Goddess Cube to reveal a small seed satchel, which Link promptly picked up and put it away as they walked off, only to come across another Mogma.
"Sheesh… what the heck is going on in our neighborhood…" He mumbled as he turned to see the group. "Aaaand more creatures… lovely."
"You got a problem with us?" Akame asked.
"Our area used to be quiet until those things showed up… of course, then that woman in black showed up at one point… who honestly knows? Well, the good news is that we blocked off the entry way in there with lava, so there's no need for anyone else to go in there! As for us Mogmas, we can dig underground and avoid the lava altogether, so ha!"
"You think the lava will deter us?" Lana asked.
"Exactly! What ya gonna do-" Lana snapped her fingers to make platforms as everyone walked over the pool of lava. '-...About… it…" He jawdropped in surprise as Lana looked down to see it was a long way down.
"Alright, looks like we're free falling!"
Midna looked down and looked at Wolf Link. "Alright, hang on to something!"
Wolf Link sweatdropped, not sure what Midna was gonna do as they all bravely jumped down as Weiss noticed a Goddess Cube on the way down where she threw a Snow Strike from above and struck the Goddess Cube where Fi immediately flew down to snag the item as they all landed on the ground.
Midna, meanwhile, slowed her descent while carrying Wolf Link in her hair and smiled, putting Wolf Link down. "See? I wasn't gonna drop ya." She said, as Wolf Link let out a growl with an eye roll.
"This is for you." Fi gave Weiss a Gold Rupee.
"A Gold Rupee? …How much is this worth?"
"Three hundred."
"THREE WHAT?!" Weiss yelled.
"Goodness!" Kirumi said in surprise.
"I wonder how much that's worth in Remnant… it's probably a lot." Whitley said.
"Probably a lot higher than what I'm thinking of." Ling responded.
"Ten thousand Lien!" Masaru said.
"Oh, don't be ridiculous! It's obviously twenty thousand." Kotoko winked.
"I think I'm gonna need to sit down when we find out…" Nesta admitted.
They walked further into the cave where they saw another Mogma. "Huh? Oh! Hello there… you look like you have some fight in ya!" He said. "Name's Merco, and I need some help dealing with those guys. They popped in and started making a mess of things." He said, pointing to the large group of Bokoblins wandering around.
"Oh, we can handle them!" Chelsea said as she hopped down, and was joined by Laura and Kotoko.
"Laura, wait!" Nesta and Cardin tried to stop her, but Laxus put his arm out.
"Wait. Let's see how this plays out." He said as the three of them looked at each other and pulled out a few Nest Balls.
"Adonis! Let's go!" Kotoko called out.
"Mmboro, Sprout! You're up!" Chelsea said.
"Let's rock, Cyfrin!" Laura called out with a smile.
"Machop!"
"Cacnea!"
"Weedle!"
"Ralts!"
"The heck?! Where did they get them?!" Mine wondered.
The Bokoblins took notice and sounded the alarm as they charged ahead, with their Pokemon getting in battle stances and charged ahead, with the Machop punching through several Bokoblins to knock them into a wall, Weedle using String Shot to wrap around a Bokoblin and then Cacnea clobbered the strung up Bokoblin with a Drain Punch, and then the Ralts, which was a shiny, no less, used Psychic on the other Bokoblins and threw them to the side where Chelsea got into position and proceeded to slash through the rest.
The last Bokoblin paled and tried to get the heck out of there, but the Machop grabbed him by the arm and threw him straight into a wall to knock him out.
"See? Nothing to worry about." Laxus said.
"Way to go, big guy!" Kotoko said, high fiving her Machop.
"Macho!"
Chelsea knelt down and patted her Cacnea on the head while her Weedle crawled up and nuzzled against her neck. "H-hey! Stop! That tickles, Mmboro!" She giggled while Laura picked up her Ralts with a smile.
"Soooo, when did you get those guys?" Russel asked.
"Remember when Mine and Russel had their Pokemon battle?" Chelsea asked.
Earlier…
"Neku, use Bug Buzz!"
"Quickly! Dodge it and use Hydro Pump!"
As they battled, a male Machop, male Cacnea, female Weedle and a male Shiny Ralts curiously watched on to see what the commotion was about.
"It was right when Mine defeated Russel in battle, and then Lana and Cia came running up to us. Once they recruited us and we were about to head out, that's when those Pokemon showed up."
"Hmm?" Chelsea turned her head, which caught Kotoko and Laura's attention as they would see the Pokemon approaching them. "Oh! You guys look so cute!"
"Oooh, nice lookin' muscles you got there!" Kotoko smiled.
"Adorable!" Laura giggled as the Pokemon immediately took a liking to them.
"I guess they like us." Chelsea said.
"Hmm? Oh hey… use these." Akame said, tossing them a few Nest Balls.
"Oh, thanks Akame!" Chelsea nodded as Kotoko aimed her Nest Ball at the Machop and caught him instantly along with the rest of them for the others, then they called them out.
"Ooookay, so what do we name these guys?" Kotoko wondered. "...Ah! Adonis!"
"Mach! Machop!" The Machop smiled.
"Hey, he likes it! Welcome to the team, Adonis." She said, offering him a fist bump as the Machop returned the favor.
Chelsea rubbed her chin, snapping her fingers a moment later as she pointed to Cacnea. "Sprout." She then pointed to Weedle. "Mmboro."
"Cac~!" The Cacnea's eyes sparkled and lunged to hug her, but Chelsea caught him in mid air before he could hug her face. "Upupup! I'm sorry, Sprout, but I don't do spiky hugs."
The Cacnea slumped sadly. "Cacnea…"
"Aww, don't worry. You're still cute~!"
Sprout smiled, hopping down her arms and hugged her leg instead, being careful not to try and prick her, causing Chelsea to giggle. "Love you too, thorn ball." She said as the Weedle crawled up her shoulder and nuzzled against her neck. "H-hey! Hey! That tickles!" She giggled as a Pokeball opened up.
"Spoink!" Bebop happily welcomed them. "Spoink Spoink!"
Laura held the Ralts in her arms, smiling at him. "You, Bobby and I are gonna be a great team together, Cyfrin."
"Wynaut!" The Wynaut agreed.
"Ralts…" He blushed with a smile on his face.
Back in the present…
"We just haven't found the right opportunity to show 'em off." Chelsea explained.
"Soooooo, how do you even know the gender on these guys? Do you just know or do you… look for features?" Groose asked.
"Do cacti even have those features?" Ravio wondered.
"I was about to ask the same thing." Zapple agreed.
"I'm not gonna tear my hands up just to see for myself." Hazel said as he and Zapple glanced at Mercury.
"...What?"
"You're an android. You take a look!" Zapple said.
"ME?! Nuh-uh! Just because I have a metal body doesn't mean I'm gonna reach down a cactus's butt and see for myself, thank you very much!"
Link sweatdropped. "That paints a pretty picture…"
Of all the things to see in my head… Maki sweatdropped.
"Eh… we just ask." Chelsea said.
"Well, that's boring! …Although very less intrusive, now that I think about it." Midna mused.
At that moment, Mmboro scurried down off of Chelsea's shoulder and then, she started to spray silk while pointing her head in the air. "Huh?! Mmboro, what are you doing?" Chelsea wondered.
"It looks like she's… spitting silk on herself?" Kotoko tilted her head.
"I think your Weedle is starting to evolve!" Ling said as Mmboro kept doing it until she was completely covered.
"Ah! I see now… this is similar to what happens when a silkworm wraps itself in a cocoon with its own silk." Loid said as the Weedle had then evolved into a Kakuna.
"Mmmph!" Albedo whimpered, turning pale as he backed away in fear until he was hiding behind Blanche''s legs. "I know what that thing turns into next and I'm SO not loving the idea!"
"Afraid of wasps?" Laxus whispered to Blanche.
"He's got entomophobia."
"Aaaah…"
"Wow!" The Mogma exclaimed in surprise. "You were able to tear through all of them! Now… do you want something as a reward or…?"
"Who was the woman in black?" Yor asked.
"Eh, heck if I know!" He shrugged. "But, maybe this will get you to her faster." He pulled out Digging Mitts. "Who wants 'em?"
Link raised his hand. "I do!" He said as the Mogma tossed them to him as he caught them and put them on.
"Now then, you just gotta find some good digging spots and you'll find treasure, or the woman in black, whatever floats your rock."
"...Wait, do we even need those? We got a digger right here!" Midna said, pointing to Wolf Link. "Someone's slacking on the job~!"
Wolf Link let out an annoyed growl with another eye roll.
Many dug up spots later…
"Whoooooa!" Weiss yelped as she went through a massive wind tunnel that popped her out of the other side. "Okay, that was pretty fun." She said as she looked up and caught Oran. "Got ya!"
"Thanks." Oran smiled as he hopped down.
"Okay, that's like… how many Eldin Ores did he dig up?" Cia asked.
"Well, I'd say… a lot. Plus, it would help on upgrading his items down the road…" Lana pointed out as they walked forward where they saw the bridge was out, only for Weiss to create an ice bridge as they walked across and went into a cavern, taking out a few Fire Keese before finding a large slope up ahead with some Bokoblins.
"This looks like a job for my minions!" Kokichi said, pulling out a few Bombchus. "Go, my minions! Wipe them out with your beautiful explosions!" He laughed evilly as the Bombchus rose up the hill and exploded near the Bokoblins, sending them flying everywhere. "Hehehe, look at them fly!"
"Well… that's one way to get rid of them." Weiss said as they started climbing up the hill. "...Hooo, okay… this is a bit steeper than I thought!"
"Yes, but imagine how strong your leg muscles will be." Fi pointed out as they reached the top with them taking a breath, and then they went up ahead, easily taking care of a Bokoblin camp and knocking down a watch tower as they climbed their way up through the vines and went through another steep slope, with Kokichi gleefully blowing up Bokoblins as they made their way to the top, where they saw two Mogmas.
"I dunno, Ledd… something's fishy here."
"I know! How in the world did they manage to get into that door inside that building?"
"They probably busted the key or something… because there's no way any of them would go through."
"Eeeeh… so a blonde lady and a dark Wizzrobe go in there, two other people have a battle and then a clown goes inside?"
"Yeah, but the woman in dark followed him despite being gravely injured. Woman was bleeding like crazy."
"Huh, that explains the blood stains… well, maybe they went in there for treasure. A race to see who'd get in there first."
"But the key has been split!"
"Ledd, what's stopping us from going under?"
"Hey… hey, you're right! Let's go, Cobal!" Ledd nodded as they went underground.
"So Zelda was here…" Fi mused.
"We need to see what happened." Shuichi said as he walked forward. "Reveal yourself to me."
Pause BGM
BGM: Slimy Spring Galaxy (Super Mario Galaxy 2)
They would see what transpired earlier, with Wizzro attacking Zelda, only for Impa to show up to stop him.
"Impa!" Lana exclaimed.
"Oh gods…" Cia whispered as they would see Ghirahim appearing and then the two clashed, where they watched Impa and Ghirahim be evenly matched, but then then Ghirahim teleported away, noticing he was up top and played a song that caused it to rain. He raised his sword up as a lightning bolt flashed in the sky and then jumped down to attack Impa, the electricity was enough to stun her, giving him plenty of time to stab and slash her multiple times, causing blood to splash everywhere.
Darkness then swelled within Ghirahim's sword and slashed through Impa, knocking her down to the ground as she coughed out blood.
"No…" Lana whispered. "NO!" She yelled in anger.
Ghirahim kicked Impa down, saying something to her and then walked into the temple where Impa lay on the ground, bleeding. However, Impa weakly pulled out a bottle and drank a potion as she stood back up, holding on to her wound as she went inside the temple, the doors closing tightly as the key fell to the ground and shattered in six pieces, where some Fire Keese came by and picked them up to scatter them around.
Shuichi took note of where all the keys were at, pulling out a notepad and writing it down, then with a nod, he deactivated his semblance.

"He really caught her by surprise…" Weiss said.
"Alright, split up. We'll cover more ground. I know exactly where each of them are." He said, showing off his notepad.
"Good, that will make things easy." Fi said.
"Let's go!" Lana said as they split up, but before Mine and Tatsumi could go together, Laxus put his hands on their shoulders.
"Huh?" Tatsumi wondered.
"There's something I've been meaning to ask you two." He said. "Come with me."
"Uh… okay?" Mine raised an eyebrow as they went toward an overlook of the mountain.
"Soooo… what is it that you want to say?" Tatsumi asked.
"Well, ever since I got out of that crystal, I've been touching base with my friends' descendants. Usually I visit Atlas to see how James and Esdeath are holding up, or sometimes I go see how Nesta and her family are doing. Sometimes I hang out with my own descendant and Pyrrha…"
"You're just checking up with everyone?" Mine asked.
"Yeah, pretty much." Laxus nodded. "I'm like, the only one left in my era. Well, Mavis tends to stick around and then there's gramps with his curse… but aside from that, I just want to know how the offspring of Dragneel and Strauss are doing."
"Oh, I'm doing pretty well." Tatsumi said.
"Yeah, so am I." Mine nodded.
BOOM!
The three of them jumped, turning to the source of the noise.

The three of them sweatdropped. "That boy worries me…" Laxus said as he turned to the two. "Aaaanywho, I'm curious what you've been up to, like what has your family been doing?"

"Oh! Well, in my case… truth be told, I was actually born in Mistral." Mine explained. "My family inherited a large fortune and nobility, so basically, I'm actually a noble."
"That explains that laugh you did a long time ago… I thought you were being dramatic." Tatsumi said.
"Yeah… they rubbed off on me."
"Nobility, huh? Well, I know how that turns out, knowing how ninety percent of Atlas operates…"
"Unlike the nobility in Atlas, my parents are actually decent people. Sure, they may be a bit snobbish that can turn people away, but they're good people."
"You live in a mansion?"
"Yeah, I do. And unlike the Schnees who had a hellish life because of that asshole of a human being, my folks donate to charities and actually funds Healthcare to Faunus."
Laxus smiled. "Now that's what I wanna hear."
"Yeah." Mine nodded before sighing. "Though, due to my upbringing, I didn't have any friends growing up. I was lonely all the time… and when I did try to make friends, my… personality came out and they ditched me within five seconds. Every time."
Laxus frowned. "Oh…"
"That didn't stop me from trying though, but I was a loner at my school. It didn't help that I got bullied because "Oh, look at that rich kid, thinking she's all that!" They harassed me, they called me horrible names… yet I held strong. I just learned to tune them out. And then when I got old enough, I immediately applied for every huntsman academy out there… and Shade Academy was the first to accept me. When I told my parents… well, they decided to pack everything up and move to Vacuo."
"They left their inheritance behind?"
"Oh no, they took it with them! It's honestly amazing given how it's next to impossible to have a fortune in a place like Vacuo, but they somehow succeeded."
Laxus whistled. "Impressive!"
"And… I met my team after that. Became a part of Team ATMC, we were chosen to be part of the Vytal Festival, although that fell through… but we studied hard at Beacon… aaaand then I come to find out, days after I moved to Beacon, that my folks bought a second home in Vale."
"...Somehow, I'm not surprised."
"Yeah… they're wild, but I still love them. And they also accepted Kotoko with loving arms, so that's a plus."
Laxus nodded and then turned to Tatsumi. "And how about you?"
"Well, I come from a more humble upbringing. I came from a village with my good friends Ieyasu and Sayo in Vacuo. I wanted to become a Huntsman while those two wanted to become an illustrator and author. Despite our career differences, we all supported one another."
"That's nice." Laxus nodded.
"When those two were sixteen, they applied for Hathaway, where they had to study hard in order to get in in the first place. Sayo scored high enough but Ieyasu barely passed, but it was good enough for him to get in. If it wasn't for Sayo, he wouldn't have gotten into Hathaway with her."
I swear, those two are interested in each other. Mine thought. "Sooo, how did they meet Blanche?"
"First day as freshman, they met Blanche there. Currently, they're sophomores."
Laxus chuckled. "That's pretty cool, honestly. Glad to see the descendants are keeping the names alive and well."
"I have a question, Laxus. What was my ancestor like?"
"Mira? Heh! Why, that lady was a sweetheart. Girl was friendly to everyone and had a carefree attitude."
…What the hell happened? We go from carefree to sassy with THIS girl? Tatsumi wondered.
"Wow!"
"Although, when she was a teenager, she was a bit of a wild child. Always picked fights with Erza, eager to fight, hotheaded-"
Aaaand there it is! Tatsumi smirked.
Mine slumped a bit. "Oh… so she mellowed out as she got older."
"Pretty much." Laxus nodded. "Definitely a sweetheart, took me by surprise when she had an attitude change. It was like she was a completely different person."

"Heeeeey!" Zapple called out to them as they turned to her. "We got all the key parts! You guys coming?"
"Coming!" Laxus said as they walked off, but before they could go in, Mine immediately grabbed Laxus's wrist.
"Wait… there's something else I got to know about my ancestor."
"Hmm?"
"The Celetial Spirits kept mentioning this darkness within me… what do they mean by that? Did Mira have some dark blood or-"
"Ah, that… well, that's because of Mira's semblance. Her Semblance was called Takeover where she could absorb part of a Grimm to become part of it. In fact, Elfman and Lisanna had it too, although the latter chose to do it with actual animals. But Mira? Girl mastered it pretty well and gained forms out of it, however Mira wanted to keep a lid on it because she was afraid if she unleashed it, her friends would get hurt. Although, as time went on, she was able to control it."
"Wh-what was the name of this?" Mine asked.
"Satan Soul." He explained. "...Well, technically, it's actually called Salem Soul, but…"
"Eh? What the heck is a "Satan Soul"?" Natsu asked.
"Natsu kept mishearing Salem Soul as "Satan Soul", and… well, everyone just ran with it."
"And… a sweetheart like Mira had this?" Mine asked, some fear in her eyes.
"Let's just say… it's always the sweethearts you got to watch out for. It ain't pretty…"
"Like Chiaki when Fecto stole Elfilin from her again?" Mercury asked. "Or when that Dark Ruby bitch pissed her off?"
"Honestly? Mira's fury makes Chiaki's fury look tame in comparison in my opinion." Laxus admitted. "Hell, I still don't know how Fried managed to live through that…"
"Oookay, this is all very frightening… let's just go into the Earth Temple!" Groose said, immediately running in while everyone else went inside, although Mine stood there by herself.
"Mmph…" Mine rubbed her arms. "Suddenoy, my blood is running cold…"
"Hey sis, you coming?" Kotoko called out.
"O-oh! C-coming!" Mine went inside, the doors closing behind her.
