Ghirahim looked at Weiss in disbelief. There was no way… how? How could an ordinary human, let alone a Schnee, be able to harness the power of the Triforce of Wisdom? SHE could harness the Triforce, yet he couldn't? It made him sick just thinking about it.
"What's wrong? Lynel got your tongue?" Weiss taunted.
Ghirahim snarled. "You, of all people… harnessing the power of the Triforce?!"
"I know, I'm just as surprised as you are. I figured I was gonna hold it, not absorb it into my body… but you know what? I'm actually okay with this!"
"I stole two pieces of the Triforce, yet when I tried to harness both of them, they rejected me! How has the Triforce of Wisdom decided to be compatible with you? You're not even Hylian!"
"And Edelgard isn't a native to Remnant yet she's the Summer Maiden. What's your point?"
Ghirahim growled. "So this is your game, Schnee? I take your Fierce Deity and you decide to take the Triforce of Wisdom?"
"Fair's fair."
"I'll have you know that I can transform into a Fierce Deity version of myself and I WILL destroy you with it!"
"I've faced a draconic war lord, a Phazon-drunken Metroid, X-Parasites that can instantly kill you if you let them, a cosmic Chozo and a dark clone that was hellbent on destroying Ruby. You don't scare me."
Ghirahim growled. "I'll make you afraid of me. Next time we meet, I'll rip you apart and feed you to Lord Demise!"
"I'll look forward to it." Weiss smirked.
"Your smirk… it makes me sick with anger just looking at it… but no matter, I'll look forward to your pathetic attempts to try and stop me in my Fierce Deity! And I'll show you that I'm ten times stronger than the Demon King himself!"
"What's this I hear? You have an inferiority complex? HA! This is highly amusing." Ganondorf chuckled.
"This is not over!" Ghirahim said as he snapped his fingers, teleporting away.
"Well! Now this might turn the tide of battle for us." Cia said.
"What's going on here?" Lana wondered as she walked in.
"Sis, you're not going to believe this!" Cia grinned. "The Triforce of Power rejected Ghirahim and went away!"
Lana's eyes sparkled. "Really?! Then where is it?"
Ganondorf raised his fist, the Triforce of Power glowing in his wrist. "Right here."
Lana blinked. "Um… for the record, that one's technically not yours. It's mine."
"And yet, I've heard that in your era, you took it after you defeated your era's Ganondorf, correct? So therefore, it was never yours. It's rightfully mine."
Lana raised her finger to protest, before it dawned on her and folded her arms in annoyance. "So you're saying I'm just the delivery girl…"
"Yes."
Lana puffed her cheek in annoyance and looked away. "Hmph! Of all the nerve…"
"Aaaanywho, Twilight has his Triforce of Courage back and… well, let's just say that Ghirahim tried to get the Triforce of Wisdom-"
"Oh, so Zelda has it back?"
"Actually… no." Zelda said as she motioned her head to Weiss who showed it off on her wrist, the Triforce of Wisdom glowing.
"HUH?!" Lana yelled in surprise. "You mean to tell me WEISS, an ordinary huntress and not even Hylian, was able to harness the power of the Triforce of Wisdom?!"
"Yes." Cia nodded.
Lana pulled out a book, flipping through the pages. "But this doesn't make sense… the Triforce has always been passed down to Hylians… someone not native to Hyrule throws everything out of balance and-"
"Oh, give it a rest." Cia grabbed the book and tossed it behind her. "This is why I'm known as the fun sister."
Lana pouted. "I can be fun too…"
"And yet, you're also known as the irresponsible godmother." Impa pointed out.
"Oh please, their kid turned out fine, didn't they?" Cia chuckled.
Impa sweatdropped. "Even so…"
I don't even want to know… Zelda thought as everyone else came up.
"What's this about Weiss with the Triforce I hear?" Whitley wondered as Weiss showed it off. "Whoa!"
"Fascinating!" Kirumi said with intrigue.
"...You sure she's not a god because clearly, she is one!" Kokichi said.
Weiss smiled before turning to Zelda, her smile disappearing. "Hey, um… would it be okay if I… held on to this? Considering it's kinda… inside of me at the moment?"
Zelda smiled. "Oh, don't worry about it, Weiss. As long as we find a way to get it back to me, I don't have a problem with it."
"Oh, okay… I thought you'd be upset about it." Weiss sighed with relief.
"If anything, I'm more upset about Ghirahim calling me "Smashless". The nerve…" She mumbled.
"Don't fret about it, Your Highness. His words are empty." Impa said.
"I suppose you're right." Zelda nodded.
"Sooooo… the flame?" Groose cleared his throat.
"Oh! Right." Link nodded as they went over to the door, opening it up as they found themselves in front of a crest as he used a Skyward Strike on it. At that moment, green flames burst out as Fi flew into it and absorbed it before she flew around and then landed on the ground, looking directly at Link.
"Raise your sword, Master." Fi instructed as Link did so, as the flames shot out into the Goddess Sword, transforming it into the Goddess Longsword.
"Did it get longer or is it just me?" Groose wondered.
"No, it definitely got longer. It's bigger too." Weiss said. Aaaaand I'm glad Tucker isn't here to ruin the moment.
"That's what she said." Kokichi casually said, causing Weiss to facepalm and Maki smacked him upside the head, causing him to innocently grin.
Never mind…
Midna snickered. "The bad thing is, I was thinking about it."
Leone laughed. "You're alright in my book, Kokichi!"
Wave rolled his eyes. "Of course you wouldn't care."
"Dammit, I was so close to saying it myself." Cia mumbled before giggling.
"I do not understand." Fi said.
"Ah… you wouldn't get it." Leone giggled.
"Then… let us head back to the Isle of Songs." Fi said as they all nodded and walked out.
BGM: Dragon Theme (The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword)
"Oh, hello there." A voice said as they looked up to see Faron towering above them. "I sense that you destroyed the perpetrators from within?"
"Destroyed them? No. Destroyed Ghirahim's pride? Absolutely." Lana said.
"That's good enough for me then." Faron nodded. "Hmm… I'm sensing new power from within some of you. I hope that new power will help you on the road again."
"I think it will." Weiss nodded as she whistled, where Azure and several ice Nevermores flew toward them, where they boarded them and then flew off.
End BGM
"Weiss…" A voice called out to her.
"Huh?" Weiss looked around. "Did someone say something?"
"Mana?" Manaphy wondered as Weiss turned to look at Ganondorf.
"Did you say something?"
"No."
"Huh…"
"The Goddess Statue in Skyloft… come…"
"The Goddess Statue…?" Weiss wondered as she tried to ignore it, but the voice kept telling her to come. Oooh, alright! If it'll get you to shut up! She thought as once they flew over Skyloft, Weiss took a detour and landed on the ground.
"Now what's the big idea?" Ganondorf wondered. "We're to go to the Isle of Songs."
"Yes, but… something's calling to me. Like… it's some sort of heavenly voice."
"Heavenly voice?" Ganondorf raised an eyebrow while folding his arms, but then his eyes widened in realization before nodding with a smirk. "Where is this voice telling you to go?"
"To the goddess statue."
"Then it's best not to keep that voice waiting. I'll keep an eye on your beast. Go."
"Okay." Weiss nodded as she took off, as an Ice Nevermore flew nearby as Lana hopped off.
"Where's she going?"
"She's claiming a heavenly voice is asking her to go to the Goddess Statue."
"A heavenly voice…? Then that could mean-" Lana's eyes widened. "Oh!"
Weiss hurried over to the Goddess Statue, and once she got there, she immediately looked around. She could hear a faint melody playing nearby as she followed the sound of it until she hit a wall. She pressed her ear against it as the music got louder.
She immediately made some gravity glyphs and climbed over them and landed on the other side of the wall, where she would find a blue haired individual, wearing a blue dress, playing a lyre and softly humming.
"So, you've got my message."
"Um… who are you?"
The woman turned around and let out a playful giggle. "I'm Nayru, the Goddess of Wisdom."
BGM: Great Fairy Fountain (The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild)
Weiss's eyes widened in horror. "Oh… oh crap! I said I'd come if it'd get you to shut up! I didn't know I was telling an actual goddess to shut up, I'm so sorry!"
Nayru laughed. "Oh, don't worry about it. I don't blame you. The Zeldas who get the Triforce of Wisdom tend to have the same idea before they realize who they're speaking with."
"Oh… okay." Weiss nodded. "...Wait, soooo, you communicate with Zelda regularly, right?"
"Of course."
"Doesn't that get tiring considering three of them are there at once? Twilight, Worlds and Wild?"
"You get used to it."
Weiss sweatdropped. "I see."
"Farore is the same way. Meanwhile Din has it easy… well, kinda." Nayru chuckled. "But don't think I wouldn't take notice of a non-Hylian taking my piece of the Triforce for herself~"
Weiss blushed, rubbing her head. "It was kinda… in the moment. It was either I take it or Ghirahim gets all three pieces. I had to do something. I couldn't just watch it happen."
"That is understandable. Just by looking at you, I can tell you are the wisest out of your team… and the most experienced in battle, given by your battle scars."
Weiss blushed again, this time a more softer blush. "Thanks… I… I do what I can."
"Which is why I'm actually okay with you holding on to the Triforce of Wisdom. If it was someone like Yang holding it, I'd be way more concerned."
Weiss sweatdropped. "Yeah…"
Nayru smiled. "You're actually the second non-Hylian to receive a gift from me."
"Really? Who's the second?"
"Oh, what was her name again…? Marine? Maroon? I think she's a goth?"
"Marnie?"
"Marnie! That's the one. She went into the Ocarina era to see if she could find something for her to use. She does have a few magic rods, but she also went into the Sacred Springs and asked the Great Fairies if they could give her something special. One Great Fairy led her to another and soon, she was able to have Din's Fire, Nayru's Love and Farore's Wind. I'm actually surprised she was able to figure out how to get through Gerudo Valley…"
She let out a sad sigh. "That said, I wish she would have at least talked to us. Din's still pretty upset about it."
"I don't think she would've known. If anything, she only cared about getting something good from Hyrule. Plus, I'm not sure how she would have been able to communicate with you if she doesn't have a piece of the Triforce."
"That's what I said to my sisters as well." Nayru nodded. "Now, show me the Triforce."
"Okay." Weiss nodded and did so, the Triforce of Wisdom shining in her hand as Nayru gently took her hand and closed her eyes. Instinctively, Weiss knelt down on one knee.
"O great Hylia, lend me your great wisdom into this wise huntress that she may have the wisdom she will need to win this battle against Ghirahim and every battle that comes before her. Lend mine and your great power into hers. Let her be one with us."
At that moment, a blue aura surrounded Weiss's body as her weapons also glowed with power as well.
The blue aura disappeared as a snowflake pattern appeared on her wrist as a large snowflake appeared behind said Triforce. In the middle was Nayru's emblem.
"Rise, Weiss."
Weiss rose as she looked at her hand, and instinctively, she placed her hand on the ground as a protective and reflective snowflake shield surrounded her.
"You have been blessed with my power. It also gave your weapons a boost in strength and perhaps a little something extra with your semblance." She winked.
Weiss smiled. "Thanks, Nayru."
"Oh, and I also gave you a great transformation, just like how the Fierce Deity gave his power to yours. Which, by the way, to say that he's upset over Ghirahim taking your Fierce Deity is a massive understatement."
Weiss grimaced. "Can you… uh… tell him I'm sorry?"
"He's not upset with you. Anyone would have been caught off guard by that. If anything, he's upset that now his powers are with a clown and not a pretty princess. His words, not mine."
Weiss blushed a deep red, brushing her hair to the side. "He… thinks I'm pretty?"
"Yes… and he desperately wants you to get it back from him."
"I'm… working on it…"
Nayru giggled. "I know."
"Sooooo-" A voice spoke up as the duo turned to see Lana on top of the wall and dropped down as she was also accompanied by Impa, Zelda, Ganondorf, Whitley, Oran and Kirumi. "What exactly is this transformation anyway?" Lana asked.
"Huh, did my absence draw a crowd?" Weiss wondered.
"We noticed Azure wasn't with us so we turned around and asked Ganondorf where you were." Whitley said. "The others are at the Isle of Songs."
"Gotcha." Weiss nodded.
"Ah, Lana… so good to see you." Nayru smiled sweetly.
Lana awkwardly rubbed her arm. "Hi… Nayru… I… assume you uh… heard about my disdain back in Lanayru Desert?"
Nayru slowly nodded, causing Lana to wince as the goddess approached her. Lana immediately closed her eyes, expecting the worst… only to feel Nayru hugging her.
"We've created Hyrule in our image… and we're also saddened that Lanayru Fields turned into a desert. That was the area I was so proud of creating… I desperately wanted to come save it and heal Lanayru, but unfortunately my hands were tied. Hylia wanted to help too, but unfortunately, she made a promise to herself that she wouldn't be involved in Hylian affairs, and she's not one to break promises."
"She's… kicking herself for that, isn't she?"
"Yes…" Nayru nodded. "As for us, we're just the creators of the world, I'm afraid." She gently cupped Lana's chin. "But don't worry… we're just as upset as you are."
Lana teared up and then returned the hug, as Nayru smiled and rubbed her back.
"As touching as this is, I'd like to know what Schnee can turn into." Ganondorf said, earning a punch on the shoulder from Impa while Zelda simply gave him a look, which he didn't seem to care all that much.
"Ah, right." Nayru nodded. "Alright, so normally, you simply call upon the Fierce Deity himself in order to transform into your Fierce Deity form, right?"
"Yes." Weiss nodded.
"Then this should be easy then. All you gotta do-" She immediately put her hand on her arm and flexed it to show off her wrist. "-Is do this and call upon my name. This should be second nature to you, after all."
"Alright, let's see what I can do." Weiss said, doing the same exact thing as Nayru did and closed her eyes.
Nayru, give me strength!
At that moment, the Triforce of Wisdom glowed brightly along with Weiss, all of them watching her transform. "Oh my goodness." Kirumi said as the light disappeared. "Weiss… you look incredible!"
Zelda stared in awe as she pulled out her Sheikah Slate. "Goodness me, that's incredible!"
"Impressive." Impa nodded in approval.
"Hmm, not bad honestly." Ganondorf said.
"Whoa." Lana whispered.
"Sis, you look amazing!" Whitley exclaimed.
"So cool…" Oran whispered with a sparkle in his eye.
Nayru smiled. "Alright. Now let me teach you a few things about this form."
End BGM
Meanwhile, at the Isle of Songs…
Link crawled through as he got up… and noticed everyone standing in front of him. "You could've used the portal, ya know." Cia casually said.
Link sweatdropped. "You didn't ask."
"You weren't paying attention." Cia shot back.
"She's got you there." Groose said, causing Link to sigh as he walked over to the crest, raising his sword up in the air and threw down a Skyward Strike into the Hylian Crest, as a statue of Hylia rose up again as Fi came out of the sword.
"I have another message from the goddess. Allow me to translate for you." Fi said as she began to dance. "Those who seek the sacred flames, listen well, for I am the one guiding you from my place at the edge of time. Two sacred flames remain. Should you desire to possess them, you must obtain the other sacred gifts. For each trial you overcome, you shall be blessed with another gift. Harness the power of these gifts, and let there be no doubt you shall find yourself standing before the majesty of the sacred flames. Now, I give you another sacred melody. It will serve as a key to unlocking your next trial, which awaits you within the shifting sands of Lanayru Desert."
Link brought out his lyre and proceeded to play Nayru's Wisdom with Fi dancing along while everyone closed their eyes and listened to the melody that played, and then Link put it away after the melody was done.
"Alright, let's head off." Link said.
Back at Skyloft…
BGM: Skyloft (The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword)
Weiss, after having turned back to normal, looked at her wrist and chuckled. "Okay, that's actually pretty cool."
"It is." Nayru nodded. "I hope this will help you on your journey ahead."
"I think it will. Thank you." Weiss said as she turned around and climbed over the wall with everyone following her as they made their way to the bazaar right as the others rejoined them.
"Hey guys. I was wondering where you- whoooooa! Who's the babe?" Groose asked.
"This would be Nayru, the Goddess of Wisdom." Weiss said. "And someone who is way out of your league. Heck, Zelda's out of your league!"
"SAY WHA?!" Groose yelled in surprise while Link instinctively bowed before Nayru. In fact, Wolf Link did the same.
"Wow, you're way prettier than I thought." Midna said casually.
"A pleasure to meet you, Nayru." Fi said.
"Hello, Fi." Nayru greeted and then giggled at the two Links. "You may rise. Both of you."
"Oh! That reminds me… Link, I think a new shield is up for grabs." Lana said.
"Really? Let me see for myself then!" He said and then walked in.
"Well, we might as well chill for a bit while we wait." Tatsumi said.
"Yeah." Kokoro nodded, then shifted her eyes to the side to see Kotoko and Chelsea smugly smirking at her. "Uh… why are you two looking at me like that?"
"Oh, nothing~ It's just that I'm really surprised that you have your way with words when talking with a boy~" Kotoko teased.
"Eh? What do you mea-" Kokoro immediately started blushing profusely when she realized what she was talking about. "Y-y-you mean you… actually overheard everything I said with Masaru and not just conveniently butting in on what he said?!"
"Yup!" Kotoko grinned.
"Pretty much~!" Chelsea grinned. "And wow, I'm surprised too~ I'm surprised that my baby sis can be rather… assertive before she gave her not-so-obvious crush that small kiss on the cheek~"
"N-N-no! I-it's n-not wh-what it lo-looks like, guys…! I-I was only t-trying to-" Her face was completely red to the point it'd put a tomato to shame.
"Ehe~" Both girls giggled cheekily.
"Oooh, what does "ehe" mean?!"
Both shrugged casually while also giving her a nonchalant and mischievous look.
"Mmmph…" Kokoro puffed her cheeks in embarrassment and annoyance while also giving them the stink eye. "You guys are so cheeky sometimes…"
Chelsea giggled. "You were right, Kotoko. She does look rather cute whenever she's embarrassed."
"Told ya~!" Kotoko smiled. "...By the way… when will you ask out Masaru on your first date with him?"
At that point, steam came out of Kokoro's ocelet ears while pulling her newsboy cap down to cover her face, which was now glowing in a probably undiscovered shade of red. "K-KOTOKO…!"
"You're too easy~" Kotoko giggled.
Someone, please… kill me now… Kokoro groaned.
Nearby, as Masaru was chatting with Cardin, he turned his head to look at Kokoro. "Just what the heck are they talking about?" He wondered as he thought about that small kiss on the cheek Kokoro gave him.
"You're my hero."
"Her hero, huh…"
"You okay there, bud? You seem to have lost your train of thought."
"H-huh?! Oh, uh… it's nothing, big bro."
Cardin smirked. "You're thinking about Kokoron, aren't you?"
"Wh-wha?! N-no, I'm not!" He then sighed a bit. "Okay, maybe a little…"
Cardin chuckled as he gave Masaru a reassuring pat on the back and a smile, indicating he wasn't gonna tease him about it. "So… how do you really feel about her?"
"Well… truth be told, I find her really cute. That newsboy cap on her head really makes her more adorable and… darn it, those ocelot ears are so stinkin' cute! I just… aaagh, I don't know! I like her, but I don't know if she shares the same sentiment."
"Given that she kissed you on the cheek, I don't think you have to worry about a thing." Cardin smiled. "Now, let me give ya some advice given on how I handled Chelsea. You see, you gotta let things evolve naturally until the point where you want to admit your feelings for her. Sure, you can say "We're only in a platonic relationship", but that works about… zero point one percent of the time."
Masaru sweatdropped. "Noted."
"And another thing, you gotta treat her right. Treat her… oh, how did mom put this? Treat her like a princess."
"Sooo… like Zelda?"
"Yeah, although maybe don't call her Princess Kokoron, if ya know what I mean."
Masaru chuckled. "Noted."
"And if you really want to impress her… well, I know a metalhead who can hit you up."
"Ibuki?"
"Yeah."
"Okay, what did Ibuki do with you?"
Meanwhile…
Link picked up the Sacred Shield. "So you're saying this thing regenerates if it takes too much damage?"
"Yes. It's a little fragile though, so let me enhance it real quick…" Lana proceeded to use her magic to enhance the Sacred Shield, causing it to glow. "There, now it's got some pretty good durability."
Link nodded. "Thanks. Now let's head off." He said as they walked out together.
"WHAT THE HELL DO YOU MEAN I GOTTA WEAR A DRESS TO IMPRESS A GIRL?!"
"...What did we just stumble upon?" Link asked.
"I… don't want to know yet I'm very intrigued by the context." Lana said.
"That's just a worse case scenario. You don't have to do it." Cardin said. "Although I think you could pull it off. If Jaune could do it, if I can pull it off-"
"Nuh-uh! I ain't a dress kind of guy! I'm a Hero, not a princess!"
Cardin laughed. "Okay, okay… take it easy." He patted him on the head. "That'll be a nuclear case scenario."
"It better be… the last thing I need is Kotoko getting any ideas…"
Too laaaaaate~! Kotoko thought as she overheard it.
"But you really think it'll happen naturally?"
"Yeah. Just give her nice things that she likes, compliment her, and sooner or later, you got yourself a girl. Being good friends with her also helps as a good friendship is a hell of a good basis to a good romance."
"I'll keep that in mind." Masaru nodded.
"...I'm not sure what we walked into, but… is everyone ready?" Link asked as they nodded. "Great, now let's head to Lanayru Desert."
Lana frowned. "Oh… right… we're heading back to that depressing area." She sighed as they hopped on their rides.
"See you, Nayru!" Weiss waved as they flew off.
"Farewell, Weiss… and good luck to all of you." She said with a wave before frowning. "...Why do I have this feeling that someone is messing with the Sacred Trials…"
Meanwhile, in Lanayru Desert…
"The trap is set, master." Wizzro said as an invisible dark aura surrounded the butterflies.
"Good." Ghirahim smirked. "Whoever steps in that will face their deepest fears."
He let out a chuckle. "I may be down, but I still got a few tricks up my sleeve."
Ibuki: Personally, Ibuki thinks Masaru-chan would look cute in a dress. Ride, Wade-chan?
Deadpool: *wearing a dress* I gotta admit, I feel fabulous!
Ooookay, that's something I never thought I'd see. But anywho, there's a new poll on my profile page. Go check it out!
