BGM: Lanayru Desert (The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword)

"Hmm…" Link doused with his sword. "If I was the flame, where would I-"

His sword gave off a few chimes as he had pointed in the right direction.

"Ah, over there. Perfect." He said. "Let's go, it's this way!"

"I could've pointed them in the right direction." Cia said, her arms behind her head with a chuckle.

"Nah, probably wouldn't have been as effective." Lana chuckled as they walked through the sand, hopping between stone platforms as Link then used his Clawshot on a target, pulling him up and tossing it down for the others.

Groose aimed and fired, hitting the target… and it yanked him up harder than he thought it would. "Yack!" He yelped as he was pulled up, then LInk helped him up.

"You alright?"

"Think I dislocated my shoulder…" He said.

"Here, let me get that back into place for ya." Lana said, grabbing onto his shoulder.

Crack!

"YOW!" Groose yelled, punching a rock wall to try and ease the pain while wincing. "...Woo! That was a ride…"

"You're welcome~!" Lana giggled as Weiss climbed up and then helped Oran up right after.

Once everyone climbed up, Midna jumped over and turned around. Wolf Link nodded, crouching down before leaping into the air, landing on the platform flawlessly. "Who needs clawshots? He's always got a spring in his step!" Midna grinned.

"Wow. I didn't think wolves were so… leapy." Albedo said.

"This one is." Blanche chuckled as they walked through the tunnel where they would find another Goron hacking away at a rock wall with a pick axe.

"Hmm?" The Goron turned around when he heard footsteps. "Wow! I didn't think there'd be a lot of humans in the area!" He looked down at Midna. "And they come in many different shapes and sizes too."

Midna laughed, waving it off. "Yeah, you think."

"Name's Golo, nice to meet ya! What are you doing here, by the way?"

"Searching for Nayru's Flame." Link said.

"Nayru's Flame, you say!" Golo rubbed his chin. "I've heard it's somewhere in the sand sea, but it's locked behind a door. That ledge is too steep for me to climb."

"...How did you get up here then?" Weiss asked.

"I built a massive ladder and climbed up! The quicksand gobbled it up unfortunately." Golo shrugged it off. "Eh, it's no big deal. I got plenty of rocks to eat!" He chuckled as he went right to work on hacking away at a rock wall. "Heard there was a domain behind this wall… think it belongs to a dragon called Lanayru or something…"

Lana frowned. "He's dead…"

"Oh, that's a shame then. But it would be cool to see the domain regardless." Golo said as he continued to pick away at the rock wall. "Any of you got a silver Rupee to spare? I could probably use better equipment."

"Why not just curl up into a ball and roll right into it?" Kokichi pointed out.

"Ah… you want me to launch into the wall? I could, but I'm not exactly the fastest Goron out there so I won't get much mileage out of it."

"Ah, fair enough." Kokichi chuckled as he pulled out a Bombchu.

"No." Maki slapped it off of him. "You can't solve every problem with an exploding mouse."

"Ah, says you!" Kokichi grinned as he put it back in the bag.

"Oh, by the way, if you can climb up to that door… here's that key." Golo handed them the key. "Have fun finding the flame, wherever it may be!"

"Thank you." Lana smiled as they climbed up, although Link used the Clawshot as he then opened the door as they walked out, where Weiss proceeded to make an ice slide over an abyss for them as they slid down to the bottom and then found themselves at a port.

"Where are we?" Anya wondered.

"If I had to guess, we're probably at a port." Loid said.

"It's definitely seen better days." Cardin said as they walked up ahead and saw a dried up boat with a Timeshift stone. Link approached it and struck it, activating it as it went inside the ship right after, then a robot was revived from the timeshift.

"Oh! I wasn't expecting to see humans. …You are humans, yes?" He asked.

"Well…. Yeah, most of us are." Weiss said.

"Good enough for me. Name's Skipper, and I used to ride the sea in my Sandship. Unfortunately, there was a mutiny and I was kicked off the ship…"

"Ah, so you want us to get you back on the ship?" Link asked.

"Oh, you want to help? Excellent! There's just one problem."

"What? It's not like it's invisible or anything." Groose said.

"Three, two, one…" Weiss counted.

"It's invisible."

"Aaaand there it is."

Groose blinked. "How can a ship be invisible?!"

"Interesting tech…" Ganondorf mused. "So it is somewhere in this ocean."

"Indeed. With your help, we could find it easily. If I had to take a guess, it's probably docked at the shipyard. Let me see your map for a sec." He said as Link handed him the map. "...Hey, wait. This map is incomplete. Not to worry! We can find a sea chart at home where it's more… detailed than this. It's over at this spot."

He put an X at the location. "Right about here."

"Alright, let's head out to that spot." Link said.

"Ah, but there's just one problem." Skipper mentioned. "My boat can only fit two people and… there's more than two."

"I can fix that." Weiss said, immediately stabbing the ground and creating a massive ice yacht.

"...Wow! Now that's a heck of a ship if I've ever seen one!"

"I could've made a sandship with my semblance but… eh, I don't think it'd work well in the water." Cardin said.

Masaru chuckled. "It'd be a mudship if that was the case."

Cardin laughed. "Good point." He said as they climbed aboard, as Weiss's Rathalos landed on top of the ship.

"Let's shove off to my home!" Skipper said as they took off.

BGM: Lanayru Sand Sea (The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword)

While they were cruising, Cardin immediately took notice of Chelsea leaning on the railing and walked over to it, while Zapple immediately took care of Laxus by giving him some medicine.

"Ugh… can't believe it wore off the moment I climbed aboard…" Laxus mumbled.

"There there, big guy…" Zapple said gently, rubbing his back.

"Hey, you okay?" Cardin asked.

"Hmm? Oh… hey Cardin…" Chelsea mumbled after she turned to him. "Yeah… I'll be fine."

"You sure about that? Heard that was a hell of a nightmare you went through."

"I'm okay…"

"Yeah, you're not. You're usually more chipper and upbeat than this. Hell, even when things are down, you typically pick your team back up, so seeing you like this has me concerned."

Chelsea closed her eyes, looking away from him. "Sometimes I have recurring nightmares of my bio-parents coming after me and picking up where they started. This time, mom and Kokoron were a part of it… it was like watching a nightmare that I couldn't wake up from."

"So you constantly have these nightmares?"

"Yes… that's how much of an impact those deadbeats had with me back then. When I ran away, I feared they'd find me and go right back to square one. I'm glad mom found me when I was at my lowest. And… living through that nightmare just… ugh… I can't begin to describe it."

Cardin said nothing, but he walked over and wrapped his arms around her. "You always have me in case you need to chat with someone. Your mother, sister… heck, my family's there too."

At that moment, she felt arms wrapped around her waist as she looked down and saw Laura giving her a hug. "Don't worry about your bio-parents. You have my big bro and us when you eventually marry this doofus!"

Chelsea giggled, rubbing her head. "You're sweet." She said as Masaru came in and hugged her too.

"If you, Yor and Kokoron need a place to lay low, our door is open." Nesta said with a soft smile.

"...Thanks Mrs. Winchester." Chelsea smiled, hugging her as she hugged her back, and then Mine, Akame and Tatsumi came in to surprise hug her as well.

Nearby, Yor smiled as she sat on some stairs. "We need to do something special for her to cheer her up."

"I wonder what we should do…" Kokoro wondered.

Yor giggled. "Well, we've got plenty of time."

"Yeah." Kokoro nodded with a smile on her face.

"Alright, we're here!" Skipper said as they docked. "We just have to get to that pillar way over there. That's where my home is at."

"Warning!" Fi called out as she came out of the Goddess Sword. "There are a lot of enemies in the vicinity. Proceed with caution."

"Hmm… I got a better idea." Weiss whistled, getting on Azure as she flew off toward Skipper's home as she jumped off at the top and walked in, noticing that sand got everywhere. "Goodness…" She sweatdropped as she looked around and found a chest, pulling it out and opening it up to reveal a sea chart. "Perfect!"

She hopped on Azure again and flew back to the ships, dropping it near Skipper and Link as they landed back on the yacht.

"Talk about taking the scenic route." Skipper chuckled, then he opened the sea chart. "Okay, so, the shipyard is here." He proceeded to highlight the area in question.

"Over in that spot?" Link asked.

"Yes. The ship should be in that general vicinity."

"Alright, follow me." Link said as he took off as the yacht went after them.

Pause BGM

Further away from them, Ghirahim was on a platform, watching them with binoculars. "Heh… is the beast ready?"

"Yes, but I have some concerns that it won't do well in water…" Wizzro said. "It works well in sand, but I doubt it will do well in an aquatic environment."

"This will be an experiment then. Release the beast."

With a nod, Wizzro snapped his fingers as a dark cage rose up from the sand as a giant beast went right for the heroes.

"Hmm?" Ravio walked over to the bow of the ship. "What's that up ahead?"

Ganondorf walked over. "By the looks of it… it appears to be a Molduga approaching us."

"A Molduga?!" Zelda, Lana and Cia said with surprise.

BGM: Molduga Battle (The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom)

Cia turned to Weiss. "Evasive manuevers, now!"

"Right!" Weiss nodded as she made the yacht swerve as Link did the same thing as Molduga breached out of the sand and attacked them from above, but due to them evading him, he landed right in the water… and stopped moving entirely when he hit the ocean floor.

*Record Scratch*

"I guess it can't swim." Kirumi said.

"Ha. A sand worm that can't swim in water. That's hilarious!" Ganondorf laughed.

Resume Lanayru Sea BGM

Nearby, Ghirahim facepalmed while Wizzro nodded his head after folding his arms. "Yup. I knew it…" Wizzro said.

Once the ocean underneath Molduga had passed and turned back into sand, Molduga rose up from the sand and started chasing after them, but kept a distance away from the water.

"Alright, that's enough. Let's just put this out of its miser-"

"Actually, let's wait. I want to see how this plays out."

"I hate to break it to you… but I think Molduga's following us." Zelda said.

"Bah, it can't swim. It's practically harmless." Sky said casually as they docked at the Shipyard.

"The ship should be around here somewhere." Skipper said.

"Hmm…" Weiss turned her head to see a monument up ahead. "What's that over there?"

"A Pirate stronghold."

"Soooo, what are the odds that the ship could actually be there and not here?" Weiss pointed out.

"I was thinking the same thing, honestly." Mercury said.

"I can take a few of them over there." Lana suggested.

"Great. We'll see if the ship is over here then!" Groose said as he walked off.

"Let's go." Lana said as she opened up a portal as Weiss, Link, Wolf Link, Kirumi, and Impa went inside with Lana accompanying them.

"Hmm…" Cia spotted two Lizalfos hanging around as she then looked at Molduga patrolling the area. An evil smirk came to her. "Hehehe~"

"Uh… Cia?" Zelda wondered. "What are you doing?"

Cia approached the Lizalfos, the two of them snarling at her as they pounced… only for Cia to blast them off the platform with her darkness, which in turn caught the attention of Molduga.

The first Lizalfos noticed this and yelped, quickly running away as the second one, currently dazed noticed what was coming. It quickly took off running… only to become Molduga chow as it proceeded to chase after the other Lizalfos.

"Sucker." Cia giggled mischievously as she walked off.

"...She scares me." Groose whimpered.

Once at the Pirate Hideout…

"Okay, if memory serves… ah… shoot…" Lana rubbed her head.

"You don't know, do you?" Weiss asked.

"I don't…"

"Ah, don't feel too bad." Midna said. "I'm sure nothing really interesting happened here anyway."

"Let's find out." Link said as they found the entrance and walked in, where they would find a Timeshift Orb.

Fi came out. "This is a Timeshift Orb. It acts like a Timeshift Stone, but you can pick it up. I am detecting a generator deep within this stronghold. Perhaps it may provide a clue as to where the sandship might be."

Link picked it up. "Then let's see where the generator might be." He said as they walked ahead, walking through corridors and taking out the occasional Deku Babe or Tecnoblin that appeared from the past.

Electrical barriers were activated, but Link moved it away just slightly to deactivate them as everyone else walked in, opening up a door for Link to enter while Impa swiftly dealt with the Beamos and Armos.

Once they got through, they would come across a generator. "Is this it?" Weiss asked.

"Looks like it." Kirumi nodded as Link put the Timeshift orb down, which made the Stronghold rumble. They walked outside to discover the "mouth" of the stronghold open up, revealing parts of a ship in its "jaws".

"Oh no… this isn't the Sandship, is it?" Weiss frowned.

"It is part of the ship." Fi said as she came out. "I am ninety percent sure that the Sandship is still intact. We can douse for the sandship looking for these parts."

Impa nodded. "That will more than likely allow us to find the Sandship."

"Oh right, now I remember!" Lana said with a smile. "Yeah, let's go tell the others!"

Meanwhile…

Molderach screeched, swiping at Akame as she jumped back, her legs trembling a bit as Kurome immediately got in front of her, glaring at the scorpion as it lunged its tail at her.

However, Ganondorf got in the way and parried it with his sword. "Hah!" He exclaimed, before delivering a powerful Warlock Punch to send Molderach flying, sending it crashing out of the docking area and into the sand, where Molduga came "swimming" by and ate it up.

"First the Lizalfos and now that thing? I almost feel bad for them…" Zelda said.

"It's clear to me that the Sandship is not here. It was bait."

"I wouldn't go that far. Skipper probably didn't know anything about a Molderach lying about." Yor said.

"Hmm… perhaps you're right." Ganondorf nodded.

"I can't believe there were more of that thing." Ieyasu said as they walked out, right when they saw a portal opening up and everyone else walked out.

"Anything?" Whitley asked.

"Nothing but a semi-empty stronghold, but we have a lead on the Sandship." Kirumi said. "How about you?"

"Giant scorpions and minecart rollercoasters."

"...Minecart what?" Weiss asked.

"WAAAAAAAAAH!"

CRASH!

"I'm okay!"

Lana facepalmed. "Cia! I told you a thousand times that the minecart rollercoasters are extremely addictive!"

Cia came back, having bandages all over her. "But have I died before? I didn't think so. Besides, you're one to talk. I've seen you do this dozens of times when I'm not looking."

"That's not… entirely true…!" Lana sweatdropped.

Cia laughed. "Whatever, let's just go find that Sandship."

Lana turned to the rollercoaster. "Nope. Not doing that." She said as she walked away… but then came walking over. "Maybe just one ride wouldn't hurt."

Midna's hair grabbed a hold of her. "Come on, let's go already!" She said as she yanked her away.

"WHOA!"

Back into the open water, Link doused the sand ocean until his Goddess Sword starting ringing like crazy. "There you are… fire over there!"

"You got it!" Skipper fired, as the cannonball struck the Sandship, causing it to appear out of thin air for a brief second.

"Oh, now I get ya…" Weiss smirked as she raised her hand up, her Triforce of Wisdom glowing as ice cannons rose up from the deck. "Someone man the cannons!"

"You got it!" Kurome said as she and Wave aimed and fired, striking the Sandship and forcing it to decloak, making it stop in the sand.

"There we go!" Weiss said as they docked on both sides.

"I'll be here if you need me!" Skipper said as Link climbed up while everyone else boarded the ship.

End BGM

"Yar… who dares attack the Sandship?" A voice declared as they looked up to see a robotic pirate from above. He immediately jumped down and landed on the deck, sword and shield hook in hand.

"A pirate robot… you don't see that every day." Shuichi said.

"Are you the one who attacked Skipper?" Weiss asked.

"Attacked? Hahaha! Wrong! I usurped him! He was a wishy washy captain, so I kicked him off!"

"That's not true!" They heard Skipper say from below.

"Anyone who was with him was sent to the brig. I am LD-002G Scervo… Captain Scervo, if you will… and I'll make everyone walk the plank!"

"Ha!" Kokichi laughed. "You and what army, tinkerbrain?"

Scervo smirked, pulling out a bow and arrow as he turned around and fired an arrow at a Timeshift stone inside the mast, which in turn, caused it to activate and revived all the pirates inside the ship.

"This army!"

"...Oh look. Multiple crotches for me to kick!"

"You're gonna be the first at this rate…" Maki mumbled.

Scervo pointed his sword at them. "Sieze them!"

"I'll handle him." Link said, sword in hand as Scervo laughed.

"I like a challenge. Show me what you're made of!"

BGM: Song of Storms (Super Smash Bros Brawl)

Robotic Usurper - LD-002G Scervo

Link raised his shield up as he approached Scervo. The Pirate approached him and proceeded to wail on him but Link parried him with the shield and then slashed at him, only for Scervo to counter attack, slashing at him as Link jumped back while a Bokoblin fell next to him, courtesy of Laxus and Zapple hitting him with lightning.

Scervo leaped at Link, proceeding to wail at him and swung his sword down constantly but Link blocked and then parried him, proceeding to smack him with his shield to knock him back a bit. Link raised his sword up and then swung down with a Skyward Strike, hitting him in the chest.

"Yar har har har! Let's see how do well with this!" He declared, pulling out the bow and arrow, pulling back the string and firing an arrow. Link swiftly dodged as he struck a Bokoblin instead that was already having a hard time with Yor.

Thunder boomed across the sky as dark clouds rolled in while Scervo fired another arrow at Link, and then another, giving Link no time to counter where Ravio turned his head after batting away a Bokoblin into the water with his hammer. He immediately dug into his bag.

"Link! Catch!" Ravio threw the item at him as Link blocked an arrow and saw the item in question as he caught it, which was none other than a boomerang.

Link turned around and rolled out of the way of another arrow being flown as he instinctively threw the boomerang. Scervo ducked as the boomerang went past him, only for it to curve and came back as Scervo nocked another arrow… only for the boomerang to come over and snagged the bow from him. "What?!" Scervo exclaimed in surprise as Link caught both items.

Link smirked, aiming the bow as he fired… only no arrows were shot out.

"You fool! You may have stolen my bow, but I still have my quiver!" He declared as he raced toward Link as he readied himself as he charged at Scervo, both of them swinging their blades as they both clashed… when suddenly, the boat rocked.

End BGM

They heard a loud roar echoing throughout the ocean as Skipper whimpered and quickly used the ship to flee for safety.

"That roar…" Scervo said gravely. "It be the legend of the great beast from underneath!"

"What beast is it?" Link wondered, when suddenly, a tentacle rose out from underneath, piercing through the ship.

Nearby, Ghirahim smirked. "Let's buff you up a bit." He said, starting to play a song.

BGM: Nocturne of Shadow (The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time)

The tentacle started to turn shadowy as the tentacle disappeared as more tentacles rose up and pierced through the ship until one tentacle rose up and slapped Scervo across the ocean, leaving only behind the quiver as Link immediately picked it up.

"Look at that!" Ling called out as they turned to see a shadowy figure emerge, bursting through the ship and roared.

End BGM

BGM: Scaldera/Tentalus (The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword)

Leviathan of the Shadows - Shadow Tentalus

"Oh gee, I wonder what the obvious weak spot might be." Weiss sarcastically said.

"Something about this is different… I don't think it'll be easy." Lana said as Tentalus slammed down on the remains of the ship, blasting everyone away and leaving only Link, Oran, Weiss, Mine, Mira and Cia.

"Okay, you sea monster… let's rock and roll!" Mine said, readying her gun as lightning flashed in the sky as it started to rain.

Tentalus roared, firing dark lasers from its eye as Mira quickly went into her Demon Soul and blocked the attack with her hand before firing a dark laser of her own, striking Tentalus as it roared.

"Mine… I know you're afraid of it, but perhaps this would be a good opportunity to gain control of it." She turned to a nervous Mine and smiled. "I'll help you out."

"Okay…" Mine nodded, closing her eyes as she took a deep breath and transformed into her own demon soul and flew up together with Mira.

Tentalus breathed out a dark smog, covering the ship as shadow claws came out and grabbed a hold of them. "Nnngh!" Weiss grunted, activating her Triforce of Wisdom, making a bright light and dispelling the smog as Link and Cia took care of the shadow claws while Oran pulled out some Ice Dust, infusing it into an arrow and fired at Tentalus.

Tentalus roared in pain before snarling, raising a tentacle up and slamming it down on Oran, but he quickly went into his shell to block said attack as it bounced off of him, with Weiss using Nayru's Love on his shell for extra protection just in case.

"Phew…" Weiss turned to the sea monster and quickly made glyphs, before snapping her fingers as they were shattered into ice crystals and launched out at Tentalus. Tentalus responded by creating a dark portal and entering it before appearing on the left side, firing a dark laser from its mouth.

"Any tips on what to do in this form?" Mine asked.

"Just breathe and don't let it control you. Make it bow down to you!" Mira advised, as she flew over and punched Tentalus in the eye, creating a powerful dark explosion as Mine aimed her gun, charging it up.

I'm not going to let you take control of me… I WON'T! She thought as she pulled the trigger, firing a small dark laser that quickly grew into a large one and struck Tentalus as it responded with unleashing dark tornadoes that sucked parts of the ship up and blew it back toward the others as they rolled out of the way while Cia unleashed lightning.

Tentalus roared once the lightning hit it as it proceeded to smack her while Oran nocked another arrow, infusing it with a Fire Dust crystal and shooting it, hitting it in the eye as Oran tossed a Fire Dust crystal to Link. "Here, use this!"

"Thanks." Link nodded as he wrapped it into an arrow and fired the makeshift Fire Arrow, launching it toward Tentalus and had it explode into its eye. "Bullseye!" He said, fist bumping Oran as Tentalus breathed out an electrical laser, forcing them to get out of the way while Weiss had climbed up higher.

"Nayru, give me strength." She chanted as light was cast over her hands, forming an ice version of the Light Bow as she aimed directly at Tentalus who was too distracted by Mine and Mira. She controlled her breathing, an ice Light Arrow conjuring.

"Smile, you son of a-" She released the string as the Light Ice Arrow went flying as Tentalus turned its head… and it pierced through its eye, going through the skull and shot through the sand sea.

Tentalus roared, falling into the ship and faceplanting as it roared in agony… until Link climbed up and stabbed it in the head to finish it off, causing Tentalus to disappear in a shadowy smoke.

End BGM

At that moment, the clouds disappeared as a ray of light shined down onto the ship. They would see a statue rising from the ground as Link walked over to it while everyone else boarded what was left of the Sandship while Lana went inside of what was left, coming out with Skipper's friends.

"I found them safe and sou-... oh!"

Link stared at the Hylian Crest before him as he used a Skyward Strike, blue flames coming out of the torch as Fi came out and absorbed the flames, shooting up high into the sky and slamming down into the ground, as Link brought his sword forth as blue flames were shot into the sword, where the Goddess Sword immediately turned white.

Link looked at the Goddess Sword, and with a nod, he put it into its sheath.

"Just one more to go. Let us head back to the Isle of Songs." Fi said as they nodded.

"I have a pretty good feeling where the last flame might be at." Weiss said with a chuckle as they walked off.

Mira turned to Mine after turning back to normal. "So how do you feel?"

"I felt like something was trying to take over… but… I willed myself not to lose control."

"It becomes easier." Mira smiled.

"Aw man, I missed that? Stupid one eyed monster…" Kotoko grumbled.

Meanwhile, with Scervo…

"Rrrrgh…" Scervo got up from the sand, brushing himself off. "No matter, I will go back to the Sandship where I will destroy them once and for-"

The ground rumbled underneath him.

"Another beast from the depths? Come and face me then!"

Molduga breached out of the sand as Scervo readied himself and charged, only to be swallowed whole by Molduga.

*looks at Deadpool who's currently hugging a Geno plush*

Deadpool: My precious... you are returning to the limelight once again!

Yeah, that was a hell of a surprise, not to mention that Super Mario Wonder is... HOLY CRAP, YOU HAD ME AT PLAYABLE DAISY! ...I mean, of course I was gonna get it but that alone sold me on it.

Ibuki: It's trippy as hell and Ibuki's all for it!

Yeah, no kidding. I was also hyped for when Wiggler was confirmed for Wave 5 of the Booster Course Pass. Dude was my number one main in Mario Kart 7! And yeah, Petey and Kamek are here too, so that's awesome! I'm also surprised we didn't get DLC for Tears of the Kingdom announced, but... eh, it's probably a bit early to announce it. But anyway, DARK MOON REMAKE AND I'M ALL FOR IT! WOOOOO!

Ibuki: And a new Peach game too!

Wonder what that's gonna be about... but anyway, that was an awesome Direct! And while I'm not much of a Pikmin fan, that was pretty neat too. Though I'm a bit sad no Prime 2 or 3 Remastered news, but eh, I'm honestly content with what we got. Best Direct ever!

Ibuki: You say that all the time! *giggles*

And I'm not gonna stop anytime soon.
