BGM: Skyloft (The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword)

Everyone else landed on Skyloft while Link flew by on his Loftwing. "I'll be back soon!" He called out to them and flew off directly to the Isle of Songs.

"Sooo, anyone hungry before we head out to Eldin Volcano?" Leone asked.

"I could eat." Mavis said.

"...But you're a ghost." Wave pointed out.

"What's your point?" Mavis asked, causing Wave to sweatdrop.

"Never mind…"

At the Isle of Songs…

Link crawled out of the crawl space and walked up to the Hylian Crest, proceeding to use a Skyward Strike to hit it… and then the floor underneath him rose up. "Whoa…!" He yelped as underneath him was a Goddess Statue. That was there this whole time?

Fi came out of the Master Sword. "Master Link. I have important information. The goddess Hylia has sent another message. These are her words."

Fi began to dance around once more. "Those who seek the sacred flames, listen well, for I am the one guiding you from my place at the edge of time. The last of the sacred flames still eludes you. To obtain it, you must claim another sacred gift. For each trial you overcome, you shall be blessed with another gift. Make use of the power of these gifts, and you will most certainly find the path to the sacred flames. Now, I bestow unto another melody. Let it serve as a key to unlocking your final trial. It awaits you upon Eldin Volcano."

Link pulled out the Goddess Harp, and with Fi still dancing, he proceeded to play Din's Power, all the while a portal opened up as Lana came out to see how he was doing.

Oh wow, that's pretty good! She thought with a smile on her face.

"Master, if memory serves, that is called Din's Power."

Link nodded. "Alright, let's head out."

Meanwhile, with the Assassins (And Wave and Kokoro)...

BGM: Knight Academy (The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword)

They were at the staircase in the Knight's Academy, making sure the windows were shut so no one would eavesdrop on them.

"Honestly, I'm not sure what people would think if they knew we were assassins…" Akame said, licking her fingers after having a meal.

"Personally, and this is just me, I think no one would bat an eye." Wave said.

"That's what I keep thinking… I mean, you took that rather well when I told you." Kurome said. "That said, I'd rather we kept a tight lid on it. There's no telling if anyone else we tell would turn on us."

"Or get to know us rather well before betraying us…" Akame mumbled, shooting Maki a glare that caused her to stiffen and looked down as she even felt a piercing glare from Kurome. However, Yor gave her a sympathetic look.

I still think you guys are being way too hard on her… Kokoro thought.

"Mom trained me up to be an assassin, heck, I even got that fancy tattoo that you guys got." Chelsea said.

"You do?" Akame asked.

"Yeah, it was in the safe house back at Vacuo. I discovered it and wondered what that was for, then next thing I know-" Chelsea took off the covering off of her right wrist. "-I'm practically a member of Night Raid."

"Oh right, that was a big thing back in the day, wasn't it?" Wave chuckled.

"So, I can understand where you're coming from, Wave… but I still don't think it's a good idea. I'm just concerned it'll end up poorly for all of us." Kurome sighed. "...By the way, aunt Yor… does anyone else know?"

Yor put a finger to her chin. "Well, Loid and I think Anya might know. You can thank my loud mouth of a brother for that."

"I'm not THAT loud!" They heard Yuri from across the hallway, causing Yor to sweatdrop.

"That said. I'm not sure if he told his family… although I can definitely trust Rosalina the most if I told her." Yor said. "...Other than that, that's pretty much it on my end."

"Obviously, the Future Foundation knows if they have "Ultimate Assassin" in their data banks…" Maki mumbled. "However, most of them seem like trustworthy folk."

"Most?" Wave wondered.

"Something about that Hifumi guy rubs me the wrong way…"

"Ah, yeah… that'll do it."

"Regardless, we should definitely keep a tight lid on it… we'll only reveal ourselves when the time is right." Akame said as they all nodded.

"I don't think I'm ready to tell anyone else that I'm the one who helped destroy Night Raid…" Maki mumbled.

Unaware of them all, Ghirahim overheard their conversation from within the bathroom. He smirked devilishly. "Ooooh, juicy… heh, I may be down but I'm definitely not out!" He chuckled.

"Ooooooh…"

"Huh?" Ghirahim turned around to see a ghost hand coming out of the toilet.

"Papeeeeer… do you have some paper for meeeeeee?"

Ghirahim stared at the hand in bewilderment. "Get it yourself, you freak."

"Any paper will dooooo… give it to meeeeeee… pleeease! It's urgeeeeent!"

"How about a restraining order?"

"Is that made out of papeeeeer?"

"I'll do you one better."

SLAM!

Ghirahim slammed the lid down on the hand, causing it to wail as Ghirahim chuckled, teleporting away.

Back with the assassins…

"Kokoron knew after mom adopted her, so she's okay." Chelsea said.

"Even so, assassinating bad guys isn't in the cards for me. I'm more of an artist than an assassin." Kokoro said.

"That and she declined when I offered to train her since killing folks in secrecy didn't sound like her thing." Yor explained. "Of course we respected her decision." She said as Chelsea nodded.

Akame snickered. "Yeah, she's way too adorable to be a killer." She teased.

"Thank you." Kokoro paused right after, blushing a little. "H-hey…!"

Chelsea giggled, ruffling Kokoro's head. "So… hopefully we can keep a tight lid on it. Not sure if we can do that for the rest of our lives though…" She mumbled, putting her cover back on her wrist.

"Well, we'll see how it plays out." Wave said.

A little bit later…

"Alright, are we all ready to go?" Lana asked.

"I'm ready to rock." Weiss said.

"Let's rock and roll… as people in the future apparently say." Link said with a chuckle as they hopped on their Loftwings/Nevermores and flew off for Eldin Volcano.

BGM: Eldin Volcano (The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword)

"This is where the Trial is at." Fi said after Link dowsed for the spot.

"Perfect." He nodded as he began to play Din's Power with Fi singing along, which opened up the Trial Gate. "Alright, anyone willing to go, now would be the time." He said as he thrusted the Goddess Sword into the trial gate.

"Hmm…" Ganondorf rubbed his chin, looking at Akame and then having an idea pop into his head, then turned to Cia. "Cia. You're coming with me."

"To the Trial?"

"No."

Ganondorf grabbed Akame by the wrist. "We're going for a little field trip. We'll be back." He walked off.

"Whoa!" Akame yelped.

"What are you even up to?" Cia wondered as she followed him.

"I feel like I should be worried, but I feel like he's got it under control…" Kurome said while Zelda walked around.

"Curious… Death Mountain hasn't changed a bit, and yet, I feel like I don't need an item to cool myself down." Zelda mused as she wrote something down. "Could it be that Death Mountain was a lot cooler in the past? It probably was!"

Terrako let out a curious boop.

"The lava being cooler too? …No, I don't think that's how it works."

Terrako let out another boop.

"Hmm…" Masaru pulled out a notepad and a pen, writing something down that caught Kotoko and Kokoro's attention. "That's good to know… a cooler Death Mountain…"

"What are you doing?" Kokoro asked.

"Writing something down." Kotoko responded as she took a peek, her eyes widening in surprise. "Holy crap, that's a lot of notes!"

Masaru chuckled. "Well, with all this adventuring stuff in ancient Hyrule and recent Fairy Tail ancestry discoveries, I've been doing a lot of catch up with my studies."

Kotoko blinked, staring at Masaru and wondered if she was looking at the same guy. "You… studying? The same guy who declared "studying is for losers" and would rather do different things?"

Masaru chuckled sheepishly. "Yeah… I'll admit that it was a bit boring at first, but it can actually be pretty fun once you find yourself spending some time at the library during your free time! It also really helps mom with her research about the Fairy Tail era. You girls oughta try it."

Kotoko stared at him. "...Who are you and what have you done with Masaru?"

"That reminds me!" Nesta spoke up. "This little adventure must be quite the vacation from your academics for the two of you."

Both Kotoko and Kokoro flinched at this.

Kotoko smiled nervously. "W-well… y-yeah… but it means saving Hyrule in the past, that means we can put off school stuff for a while, r-right?"

Nesta closed her eyes. "I'm sorry, but I'm afraid that won't do. I am a librarian and a scholar, after all. Once we get back to Skyloft, I will see to your studies."

"What?!" The girls exclaimed in shock.

Nesta nudged her glasses as there was a bright sheen to them while also looking at them sternly. "I will see to your studies."

Both of them shrunk back in defeat. "Yes, ma'am…"

Masaru chuckled. "Best if you listened to mom, you two. Besides, if you need help, you can always ask me or my sister."

"Which reminds me!" Nesta turned to Oran and Anya who were curiously looking at some rocks. "Anya. Oran!"

Both kids flinched.

"You two may not go to school but that doesn't allow for laziness during this trip, soooo…" She pulled out two books from her bag. "I want both of you to read these forty page books and each give a hundred word summary."

Anya looked at her in shock. "What? Why?!"

Nesta pulled out a different book from her bag. "Congratulations Anya. For talking back, it's not forty five pages and two hundred words. Would you like to add anything to that?"

Oran sweatdropped. "Isn't that a bit much?"

"And now the same goes for you. Would you two like to add anything else to that?"

Immediately, Laura covered both of their mouths while Albedo hid behind his sister, completely terrified of Nesta. "Nope! They got it, no need to go beyond that!"

Nesta smiled. "Good. Happy reading, you two!" She said as she walked off to go chat with Zelda.

"Was Levy normally like this?" Zapple asked while sweatdropping with Laxus.

"Not really… she was a lot tamer. Gajeel, on the other hand… oooof… I'm definitely seeing that side of him in her."

"Yikes…" Mercury whispered.

Never thought she'd be a little scary… Hazel thought to himself.

Laura removed her hands. "Sorry about that. I knew where this was heading and it would not have been worth it."

"How bad could it have been?" Oran wondered.

"A few years ago, a few hooligans vandalized the library. Mom caught them and made them read all twelve parts of "The Complete History of Remnant", after which she made them write a ten thousand word summary about the series. Twice. Those fools did not leave the library for three days straight and afterwards never repeated their actions."

"Whoa…" Oran whispered.

"Tuh-tuh… ten thou… thousaaaaaaaaand-"

THUD!

Anya was out like a light, having fainted on the spot.

"Yeah… Maggie had the same reaction…"

Meanwhile…

BGM: Din's Silent Realm (The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword)

A portal opened up after Link emerged on the other side as Lana walked out with Weiss, Kirumi, Mine, Chelsea, Tatsumi and Groose.

"So! This is the silent realm, huh?" Groose cracked his knuckles. "Doesn't sound too bad honestly."

"You'd be surprised." Weiss said as they stepped out right as Link got the Spirit Vessel, causing the Guardians to awaken. Link immediately made a beeline straight for the first Din's tear while the Flying Guardian went after the group, only to stop right as Link picked it up.

"Got it!"

"...I can see why you're terrified of 'em." Groose sweatdropped.

"Okay, let's gather back into the circle for a minute. We need to come up with a game plan." Weiss said as they did so. "Okay, so based on what I'm seeing, I'm seeing a few lights on top of the volcano, so we will need to go up there and take them first. To me, those are the most crucial of the tears."

"I see some lights over in that direction." Kirumi said, pointing away. "I believe that leads straight for the Fire Temple."

"It does." Weiss nodded. "Those will have to be a top priority. Meanwhile, the rest of us can gather the Tears down here. We're just going to have to be mindful of the lava, let alone the time."

Lana smiled. "Look at that wisdom shining through!" She giggled, causing Weiss to faintly blush with a small giggle.

"I'll take the slide. That one seems to be the most annoying of the bunch." Weiss said. "The sooner we get that out of the way, the better."

"I'll come with you." Kirumi said with Weiss nodding.

"I'll take the route to the Fire Temple." Link said. "Groose, you want to come?"

"Of course!"

"We'll clean up down here." Lana said.

"Good. Now let's break. We don't have a lot of time." Weiss said as they turned around. "Let's go, aunt Kirumi."

"Right behind you, honey."

They all took off running in different directions, Weiss and Kirumi taking the wind upwards as they landed up top, running inside the hotter room as Weiss turned around and picked up a tear behind a Flying Guardian as she jumped off and landed near Kirumi gracefully, then they slid down the slide together and hopped down, seeing two tears on different platforms as Weiss took the left while Kirumi took the right, the latter stopped on a platform as she did a few graceful flips over some gusts of wind and snagged a tear, putting in her pocket and hopping off, meeting up with Weiss as they both landed on the ground just near a Sword Guardian.

…At that moment, the Guardian woke up as the two paled before they quickly took off running as it chased after them, only it stopped shortly after.

"Phew… what was that about?" Weiss wondered.

A few seconds earlier…

"There's too many of them…" Link said as he and Groose stared at the slope, looking at all the Watchers floating around.

"...Stand aside. I know what I have to do." Groose said as he walked up the slope.

"Groose, what are you doing?!"

"Taking one for the team!" Groose said as he walked up toward a platform and whistled, catching the attention of the Watchers. "HEY, YOU FREAKS! COME GET ME!" He yelled as he raced down the hill as the Watchers chased after him as he went down toward a Guardian, only to discover a dead end.

What?! You gotta be kidding me! He thought as he snagged the tear as he turned around as he was cornered by the Watchers, one of them using its headlight to alert the guardians. However, Groose wasted no time to watch them wake up as he ran over and threw the Tear over to Link as he jumped over and caught it, the area turning back to normal.

"Changed your mind?" Link asked as they climbed up the hill.

"I thought there would've been an escape route! It was blocked…"

"Ooooh." Link nodded, patting him on the shoulder as they went up together, collecting another tear in the process.

With the ones at the bottom…

"That was the fastest Guardian activation and deactivation I've ever seen." Lana said as Mine grabbed a tear from a rope swing.

"Got it!" Mine grinned as they walked further along where Chelsea came over with a few tears in hand, one where she had to cross over some rope over lava, but it was no problem for her.

"I think we cleared this place out." Tatsumi said, holding a tear.

"Let's hope so." Mine said as they made their way back toward the gate where they all met up, where Link gathered up all the tears, and then they warped back to the real world.

Resume Eldin Volcano BGM

"How was it?" Midna asked as they got out. "I'm assuming it went well."

"It did." Link nodded as the Spirit Vessel glowed brightly as it turned into fire, wrapping around everyone within the vicinity as they glowed a red aura.

"You are all now capable of withstanding the extreme heat of the volcano." Fi explained. "We can now go deeper in."

"Alriiiiight! Lava baths, here we come!" Kokichi exclaimed.

"I don't think it'll protect us from that." Shuichi said.

Should I tell them about Marnie's lava immunity? …Nah. Weiss thought as they walked off, while also fist bumping Kirumi.

"Hey, why do the kids look like they have their souls sucked out of them?" Groose wondered.

"Long story." Loid said and looked up at his daughter who was on his shoulders. "Don't worry, I'll help you out the best I can with that."

"Thanks, papa~!" Anya smiled.

They went deeper into the volcano, walking into a red hot cavern with none of them batting an eye. "Mmm, I can't help but think I ought to go find Akame…" Kurome said.

"I wouldn't sweat it. Cia's keeping an eye on 'em." Leone told her.

"True, but… mmph…" Kurome folded her arms as they went further in, where they were pretty much in the heart of the volcano.

"The flames should be close by." Fi said.

"Flames? In a volcano? I thought there would be water here." Midna snarked.

"Water would evaporate immediately." Fi explained.

Man, Link's more fun getting a reaction out of him with my sarcasm… Midna thought with a slight hint of annoyance, hearing a "huff" from Wolf Link. "...Oh, you think her not catching my sarcasm is hilarious to you?"

They walked through the volcano, batting away any Fire Keese or Fire Chu Chus in the way, while also taking out a few pesky Cursed Spumes where they would soon walk into a cave, finding a familiar Goron staring at a fire wall.

"Hmm?" The Goron turned to them. "Why, isn't it the very large group!"

"Gorko!" Lana greeted. "How are you holding up?"

"Pretty well, actually! Oh… you have a new addition, I take it? What is your name?"

"Zelda, and this is Terrako."

Terrako booped.

"Zelda! Now that is such a pretty name!" He said, grabbing Zelda's hand and shook it.

"Oh!" Zelda yelped in surprise. He's surprisingly more gentle than Daruk…

"Now then, I was going to find more Goddess Cubes, but unfortunately, this fire wall is perplexing me. I have no way to figure out how to deactivate it." He turned to the frog on the wall. "And that frog statue seems to be taunting me! The sign says "Quench the frog's thirst" yet I don't have any water on me!"

Wave smiled. "But I do." He said, activating his semblance as he tossed a water ball into the frog's mouth, causing the fire to deactivate.

"Oh! All of you are full of surprises!" He said as they walked off, only to be blocked by another fire wall that Wave happily distinguished, then they walked out… only to walk into a third fire wall with an even bigger frog statue. "Aaaargh! A third one!"

"By my calculations, I have a feeling Wave's semblance will not be enough to quench that frog's thirst." Fi said.

"We're gonna have to need a large basin and someone who can fly… but I don't think you guys have that on you! Hmm, perplexing…" Gorko mumbled.

Link turned to Lana. "You thinking what I'm thinking?"

"Yes." Lana nodded. Even though I don't like it, what choice do we have? She thought as she reluctantly opened up a portal and walked in with Link and Fi in tow.

BGM: Dragons Theme (The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword)

Faron turned her head, hearing the sound of a portal opening up as she looked to see Lana walking out with Link and Fi. "Ah, Lana and Link. What brings you here to my domain?"

Wanting to yell at you some more… Lana thought while folding her arms.

"Can we take your basin? It's important." Link said.

"Sure, knock yourself out. I no longer need it."

"That was easy." Link said.

"I will call Scrapper for assistance." Fi said as she called for him, where Scrapper quickly came flying over.

"You need something, Mistress Fi?" He asked.

"I need you to take this to Eldin Volcano for us."

"This big thing? Not a problem!" Scrapper said as he picked it up. "Out of the way, Captain Shortpants and Wizard Girl!" He flew off.

"Wait, we got a portal open… for… yoooooou… aaaand he's gone." Lana sweatdropped.

"Not to worry. We will meet him at the summit." Fi said as they walked back into the portal, it closing behind them.

"Now… where was I? Ah yes, I was about to get rid of those pesky ne'er-do-wells that are plaguing my domain."

Back at Eldin Volcano…

The three of them walked out where the others were waiting. "He should be with us momentarily." Fi said.

A few minutes later…

"Any moment now."

A few MORE minutes later…

"So, does momentarily mean "Forever" in your ancient language or…?" Midna wondered.

"He will come."

Even MORE minutes later…

"That is peculiar. He should have been here by now." Fi said, ignoring that everyone was either lying on their backs, playing cards or playing board games to pass the time… or studying the ancient artifacts if you were the Hylian princess.

"Why do I feel like I forgot something…?" Lana wondered before it dawned on her. "...Oh no…"

At the starting area where Scrapper is…

"Well…" Scrapper sweatdropped as he saw the many enemies waiting to take him out at a moment's notice. "This is a problem… not to mention this is REALLY HEAVY!"

Meanwhile, with Akame, Cia and Ganondorf…

"Are you absolutely sure this is a good idea?"

"Ha! You, the one who dwells in dark magic and is less responsible than her sister… is getting cold feet?"

Cia blushed. "H-hey… even I have my limits, thank you very much. I just have some concerns that this could backfire hard."

Ganondorf chuckled. "I will make sure that it won't." He turned to Akame. "Now, activate your semblance for me."

"Okay." Akame nodded as she did so.

Ganondorf rubbed his chin. "I see… these markings appear all over your body." He mused. "Tell me, do they do anything?"

"It gives me a boost of power. That's what my semblance does."

"Nothing special, hmm?" Ganondorf smirked, chuckling. "I know what we have to do."

"Now when you say "we"..." Cia grimaced at the thought.

Ganondorf raised his arm up, dark magic swirling around his wrist. "Let's give your power a little extra… "ooomph"."

Ibuki: Oh oh? Wonder what Ganondorf is gonna do with Akame-chan...

Deadpool: Now you have my attention!

We'll see how that'll work out eventually! Also shout out to DarkRebellion and Log for that scene with Nesta!
