The next chapter is up!

I like to point out that this story may differ from the last couple Predator stories I have written. It was clear that in the previous ones, the hunters in those stories were older and clearly more experienced and seasoned hunters.

In this story, I changed it up a bit and went the opposite way. My Predator Character Yeyinde is still quite young and is still learning as he goes along.

I made it to where he's really not much older than the predators from AVP. It was said in that movie that they were teenagers. And in case anyone has missed it in the previous chapter, I stated that Yeyinde is roughly around 21yrs. old in human years. So, he's really not all that much older than the young predators in AVP.

But as we all know, younger predators are no less dangerous than the older, more experienced ones. That was made pretty clear in AVP when the three teen preds very quickly and easily dispatched the crew of humans both above and in the pyramid.

So, despite his young age, Yeyinde is by no means a novice when it comes to fighting. Examples of the skills he already has will be seen and demonstrated through the story as he takes on oomans in his first hunt on Earth.

If anyone needs an idea of age equivalence between Yeyinde and Natalie, here they are listed below.

Natalie: 33yrs. old

Yeyinde:

Ooman Years: 21yrs. old

Yautja Years: 94yrs. old

So, technically speaking, he's still quite a deal older than my human OC.

Enjoy :)

The pod rumbled a bit as it breached Earth's atmosphere.

Good thing about these small pods, is that got you to your destination quite fast. And not long after he passed through the atmosphere, Yeyinde was already a couple minutes away from landing.

There was a slight jerk as it made impact with the ground.

Yeyinde pressed a few buttons, and the pod hissed opened. He activated his cloaking device and stepped out of the cramped space. The bright sun shone down over the canopy of trees.

He slowly looked around scanning his surroundings. The young hunter had landed in a forest not far from the areas he was to hunt in.

The forest was quite dense and provided a lot of coverage. There didn't seem to be any paths that cut through. Which was good because it meant many oomans probably didn't venture this far into the woods.

But just in case. Yeyinde turned around and pressed a couple more buttons on the small pod he just came out of. And not a moment later, the cloaking device was activated, and the pod disappeared out of view.

This was to ensure that in case anyone was to possibly wander into the area, they wouldn't be able to see the pod now.

Then Yeyinde took off through the woods and headed to an area located to the southeast that a lot of oomans inhabited. Already feeling amped up and eager to start collecting trophies.

Today turned out to be quite busy. No surprise with it being the weekend and all.

At least most of the customers she dealt with today were pleasant enough. And a lot of them did leave her good tips. And as usual, the day went quite fast.

Natalie fished out her phone from the back pocket on her shorts. She pressed a button and the screen lit up to show her the time. The bright white numbers showed it was 5:55pm.

That meant her shift was over in five minutes.

'Thank god. I'm frickin' starving!' She thought.

It was at that moment, Nicole walked over to her.

"Hey Nat, you up for going for drinks later tonight?" She asks.

"Which bar? And who's going?" Natalie asked.

"Just me, Alex, Cassie, and Rob. We were hitting up Ship N' Shore Bar around 8pm. What do you say? Want to come?" Nicole asked.

Not a bad crew, they all worked together, except for Cassie. She was a singer at one of the other local bars and restaurant in the area. Natalie, Nicole, and Cassie all met through their mutual love of kayaking and paddle boarding. And have been close ever since.

"Count me in then. Just going to go home, eat dinner, shower, and change first. Then I'll meet you all there at 8pm." She replied.

"Sweet! I get off at 6pm like you do. So, it'll definitely give us plenty of time to get ready. And I'd like to look my very best for Alex later." Nicole said, with a dreamy smile on her face.

Natalie chuckled. No surprise there, Nicole had only ever had a crush on Alex since she started working here about seven months ago. He was one of their waiters and had been here for nearly two years now.

"You actually going to try and talk to him this time? Or are you going to stutter over your words again like an idiot?" Natalie teased.

The dark-skinned woman rolled her eyes.

"Hey, I've been working on some good pick-up lines. Mark my words, I'll be on my first date with Alex in no time." Nicole replied.

Natalie smiled, Alex was an all-around good guy. He was quite handsome too. Tall, deep tan, and blonde hair that brushed his shoulders. He looked like your typical surfer dude. Despite the fact he didn't surf.

He was also quite bright. Working on his master's in criminal psychology. All while waiting tables in between classes. She's unsure how he does it. Considering his college is in Princeton, which is nearly two and a half hours one way commute.

But somehow, the young man manages it.

"You should make yourself quite presentable too, Missy. I think Rob is looking to finally ask you out." Nicole mentioned.

Natalie arched a dark brow. Really? Rob? Odd, she never noticed him make a pass or show interest in her. Sure, he talked to her from time to time and was very nice. But she didn't think he was interested in her.

Either that or she's been working too damn hard to notice.

Rob was one of their cooks. At twenty-eight-years-old, he was a few years younger than her. He went to culinary school and had big goals to own and operate his own restaurant one day.

He was pretty cute. He had dark, close-cropped hair with brown eyes, and some scruff that lined his cheeks and chin against his fair complexion.

All and all, Natalie would say he was her type. But the young woman was still feeling a little raw from her last breakup from her boyfriend of four years only three months prior.

"I don't know, Nicole. It's only been three months since John dumped me. I don't think I'm ready for a relationship right now. Plus, I don't want Rob to think I'd be treating him like the rebound guy, so soon after a bad break up. He's a good guy and deserves better than that." The petite brunette admitted.

Nicole rolled her eyes, "I'm not saying propose to the guy, Nat. But at least talk to him and get to know him a little better. I'm sure he'd understand if you want to start things slow."

Amusement flashed in Natalie's eyes.

"I have spoken to him, countless times. I have been working here roughly two years before he started working here. I remember when he started and was one of the first ones here to introduce myself." She teased.

Nicole sighed, "That was work. I'm talking about talking to him and spending time with him in your free time, Silly."

"Right, free time. What's that again?" Natalie continued to joke.

Her friend looked down at her phone.

"That would be about now, Nat. It's 6:03pm. Time for us both to clock out and get the hell out of here. Alex and Rob get off around 6:30pm, and they said they would meet us there. And when I last spoke to Cassie, she said she had off today. So, she will meet us there too." Nicole informed her.

"Sounds good, alright, I'll see you later then." Natalie said.

"Likewise." Her friend said.

The two of them went to clock out before going their separate ways to their parked cars.

A few hours prior...

Yeyinde scanned the oomans down below walking about. It was amusing how oblivious they were to his presence.

Still, it was fascinating observing them. Since he has never seen or met any oomans until now. He knew enough about them from his lessons to tell the difference between genders and ages.

It baffled him to learn and see for himself that the females were much smaller than the males here. They also had longer manes on top of their heads, with smaller frames. And they were very distinguishable by the milk glands they possessed.

The pups were also easy to identify by their small size. He'd see them idling close by to their parents. And whenever some of them tried to wander off, one of the parents would address them and tell them to come back to their sides.

So far, their society looked very different, yet had some similarities to his people's own societal structures.

It will certainly be a very good learning experience. He will get to learn more about ooman society and culture while hunting them at the same time.

Which was perfect because Yeyinde loved learning almost as much a hunting.

He went from rooftop to rooftop, sometimes jumping down into alleyways and scouring the areas there. The young hunter was looking for an ooman or oomans that would provide him with a good challenge as he went.

For the first couple hours, he was unsuccessful.

Then he heard the distinct sound of gunshots not that far from his position. And he sprinted across roofs to get to the location the shots rang out from.

He came to a stop on one ledge and looked down below.

There were brief flashes of light followed by these popping sounds, coming from a small building down below. Then he saw what appeared to be three oomans decked out in dark clothing toting guns. They each also had a pack strapped to their back.

The three men filtered into a dark colored jeep and sped off from the scene.

Yeyinde grinned and began to follow them from above.

It wasn't hard to keep up with the vehicle. They were moving quite fast but, the jeep hit traffic fairly often while trying to put distance between the place they were just at and themselves.

Eventually, the jeep made it through the cluster of traffic and headed northbound through town.

Yeyinde ran and jumped from one roof to another, barely breaking a sweat as he went. He was determined to stay on their trail and not lose them.

After ten minutes, the dark jeep came to a screeching stop in front of a rather broken-down home. It then pulled into a garage.

The three bandits grabbed their guns and backpacks full of money from the back seat and left through a door that led from the garage right into the home.

Yeyinde changed the vision mode on his mask to see if anyone else preoccupied the home.

To his luck, there was no one else there but the three ooman males with weapons. He trilled with excitement and approached the house. The young hunter climbed a tree near the back of the property and observed them through a window as they sat on a large object in one of the rooms on the first floor.

Yeyinde knows one just doesn't run headlong towards their prey right away. A good hunter sits and observes them first. To get a feel of what they will be dealing with and find the right opportunity on when to strike.

He used his mask to zoom in and activated the translator to listen in on the conversation.

Inside the house...

"Did you get an accurate count yet on how much you grabbed from the vault?" One man asked one of his partners.

"Just a minute, I'm still counting." He said, with a proud grin.

Apparently, they hit a lot more than they could've asked for at this bank. All three were able to successfully fill their backpacks quite a bit. It was a bit hairy at first, they had to kill a few security guards before they could make their way to the vault.

Then the one who was their alleged safe cracker was able to gain access to the passwords and open the large vault in under three minutes.

They made sure to tie up as many bank tellers as they could and confiscated all the phones before any of them could make a call to the police. The shootings came a little later, when a couple guards broke free from their restraints and drew their guns at the bandits.

The three of them quickly dispersed of the security guards with their semiautomatics. Then ran out with their stolen cash to the jeep and high tailed it out of there before any outside parties could alert the police to the gunshots.

They believed they made a clean getaway. Unaware that something way more dangerous than any cop had tracked and tailed them as they left.

Yeyinde listened in on the conversation. Apparently, these men had killed other oomans and stole what he could gather to be possibly some sort of currency. That meant that these males were obviously bad bloods who broke laws.

Which meant, they were fair game to the young hunter.

After a few more minutes, he quietly hopped down from the tree, still cloaked and made his way over to the house. The men were now laughing and horsing around a little. They even tossed a few wads of bills at each other.

He stepped up onto the back porch and walked up to one of the windows that faced the room they were in.

Yeyinde placed a clawed hand on the glass and lightly raked his sharp claws down it to get their attention.

The men stopped laughing when they heard a sharp sound of something rubbing against glass. It was equivalent to when a sharp end of a stick or branch of a tree would rub up against a window, causing a sharp screeching sound when the sharp end came in contact with glass.

Only in this instance it was quite loud, like something or someone deliberately running something sharp over the glass panel.

Two of them rose from the couch, grabbing their guns as they went. They looked around for the source.

"What the fuck is making that noise?" One of them asked.

The third one that was still sitting was about to dismiss it as something as simple as a branch or one of the rocking chairs on the porch hitting the window behind it. The wind would sometimes push the light, wooden chairs back and forth into the window pain.

But then Yeyinde trilled, and flexed his fingers, and raked his nails down even harder against the glass. He left a trail of deep scratched as he went, and the sound of it was sharper and higher pitched than ever.

That's when the third guy jumped up from the couch with his gun and looked around with his buddies.

"Dude, there is someone here! What else could be making the fucking glass screech that bad!?" One of them snapped, while looking around.

Not long after that, a window in front of them exploded into pieces, raining glass in down on the three men.

"Fucking shoot!" One of them yelled.

Not a moment later, the three started shooting at the busted window.

They discharged quite a few bullets, blowing quite a few holes around the wooden frame and wall that surrounded the window. They stopped about a minute later.

Then one of the men quietly signaled to one of the others to go take a look.

One slowly crept up to the broken window, gun still raised. He bent down a little as his rifle slowly peaked through the window. This was followed by his head and arms.

Nothing! There was nothing out there!

He turned around and was about to tell his friends there was nobody out there. But stopped short when something sharp rammed through his back and came out his chest.

Blood sprayed and splattered onto the two other men in front of him.

"WHAT THE FUCK!?" One of them yelled.

While the one who was impaled, gargled and choked on his own blood as he looked down in horror to see two, large, serrated blades jutting out several inches from his body.

Then everyone heard a strange clicking sound that seemed to echo around the room as it came from something or someone behind the man who had been impaled.

Yeyinde retracted his wrist blades, letting the body drop to the floor.

The two men saw the strangest sight before them. A strange outline of something standing before them. Then suddenly, yellow eyes flashed, making them jump.

One guy snapped his head to the one next to him.

"FUCKING SHOOT IT!" He yelled.

Then the two of them raised their semiautomatics and started shooting at the strange invisible being.

There were small sparks as the bullets ricochet off of the strange being as it quickly rushed them. Then the men heard a sharp metallic sound and saw something long and thin extend.

Before either one of them could gather what was happening, the long, thin piece of metal was viciously rammed through the gut of the man on the left.

He dropped the gun and yelled in agony as the spear tore through him. The third guy's eyes widened in horror as he saw his partner dangling off the floor midair with what appeared to be a spear sticking through him.

Blood dribbled down the spear and trickled onto the floor below as the dying man continued to twitch as he remained suspended on the deadly weapon.

He snapped out of his stupor though and raised his rifle again to shoot at it. Yeyinde saw this and growled. He quickly ripped the combi stick free from the man and turned to face the last man standing.

Before he could discharge his weapon. Yeyinde quickly extended his wrist blades and with a quick swipe, ran the sharp blades over the barrel of the rifle.

There were sparks followed by the sharp sound of metal meeting metal. And the man watched in fear as the barrel to his rifle was cleaved off by the serrated blades.

That's when Yeyinde decided to let his cloaking device drop. And now the man was face to face with a very tall, strange and imposing looking man decked out in armor and a strange mask.

He dropped the weapon to the ground. And pulled out a very large knife from a leather sheath tied around his torso.

"Your dead asshole!" The man snapped.

Then he lunged for the larger man with his knife extended and took a few swipes at him.

Yeyinde quickly and fluidly dodged the deadly swipes from the large knife. This aggravated the ooman male, and he let out an enrage yell and ran at him with the knife raised over his head.

The young hunter blocked the incoming strike with one of his forearms. He then knocked the blade free from the man's hands. The knife flew across the room, and Yeyinde's hand shot out and grabbed the man around the neck.

He brought the man up to his eye level with a series of clicks. Then he ran him through with his wrist blades.

The man let out a sharp gasp and coughed up blood. A few drops hit Yeyinde's mask and left small crimson trails as they dripped down his mask. Blood poured from the gapping wounds in his chest and back.

"Your dead asshole!" Came a strange, distorted recording of his voice from the creature.

It was the last thing the man heard before everything went dark and his body became limp.

Yeyinde reveled in his victory as he retracted his wrist blades and let the body dropped to the floor in a heap. He then extended one of his wrist blades, grasped the dead man by the short hair on his scalp, and made a quick downward slashing motion with the blade, and severed the head from the body.

He held up the decapitated head and looked at it. Finally, his first ooman trophy.

The young hunter went to work, skinning the other two bodies. Then hung them from a couple rafters that were peaking through some large holes in the dilapidated ceiling. Before he cloaked and left with his prize.

Until Next Time ;)
