The group was astonished. Leaving the tavern, the heroes stood by the well, trying to piece everything together. Someone would go through this much trouble to charm a well known thief to frame him and commit this crime. "So that means the dragon was right! Collin isn't behind this," Drew realized. He then paused noticing, "It really IS Detective Jenson."

Alex cut in stating, "Hey, just cause Collin isn't the one connected to the dragon doesn't mean it's Jenson, right? We can't jump to conclusions. The dragon also claimed that one of us is a mole, and that clearly isn't true." Everyone widened their eyes as they looked at Alex. He then said in defense, "Wait, you guys think I'M going to betray everyone for Jenson?"

Lauren sighed as she answered, "Well, you were just trying to defend him."

Isaac's voice cracked a bit adding, "Plus, you've almost backed out quite a few times." Ashton nodded, even pointing out how he seemed like he was already part of the tavern gang.

Alex offendedly looked around at his friends. Even his own brother couldn't look him in the eyes. This caused Alex to realize the group didn't even trust him if they were all accusing him. "Alright, fine. But don't come crying to me when something happens. Why help if my help isn't even wanted?" Alex proclaimed. Before anyone could stop him, the rogue immediately went back down to the tavern.

It was nothing but silent. Eventually Lauren mentioned, "Well, this is awkward..." Everyone nervously shrugged and agreed. "Now what?" she continued.

Drew took the bag of holding from Isaac and answered, "We gotta use these dragon bones to make a powerful sword. We just need to find out how."

Ashton raised her hand and announced, "I know just the place." She looked up at the sun then added, "But we better hurry; our window of opportunity is small."

The five heroes ventured back into the woods. The druid guided her friends until they reached a beautiful field. Animals and flowers were scattered everywhere. "Isn't it gorgeous?" Ashton stated. "This is a spot where local druids come to become one with nature and learn transformation."

Isaac pondered as he just gazed across the field. "It's nice, but how will it turn bones into a sword?"

Ashton smiled as she pointed to a small knoll in the middle of the pasture. "See that young sapling on top of the miniature hill?" she asked her friends. Everyone nodded in response and the druid continued, "At sunset, the light catches on it perfectly and it sprouts into a giant tree, each branch can function for a different purpose. Once the sun officially sets, it shrinks back down to a sapling until the process happens again at sunrise."

The heroes made their way to the small sapling. As the sun met the horizon everyone was astonished to see practically a seedling grow into a beautiful magnolia tree. Ashton quickly reminded everyone how they have until the sun goes down to gather the branches they needed. Ben questionably looked at the tree, wondering how such thin and delicate branches could hold bones together. Ashton gave a wink, bringing back to mind that each set of branches is a different function. She sighed, however, mentioning how only those connected with nature can remove the branches without ruining their function. She volunteered to gather the branches herself as the others used them to create the sword.

Flexible branches wrapped around the bones until they hardened to keep shape. Narrow branches were used to help sharpen the blade of the sword. Finally, sap was extracted from branches with more than normal amount and then used as glue. "Woah! We actually pieced this together," Ben stated.

"And just in time too," Lauren added. "Look!" she finished, pointing to the last light of day officially fading out.

Drew fixed his posture as he watched the sun go down. He then went, "Isaac, put this sword in your bag of holding. It's time to head to the castle and protect Lord Elijah."

The group began to walk off before Ben stopped and sighed, looking behind him. Noticing this, Ashton came and placed her hand on his shoulder assuring, "It's ok. It was your brother's choice to leave." Ben nodded as Ashton gave him a small hug. "Come on," she continued. "Alex may be on Jenson's side, but that doesn't mean he'd want you to just stop and give up."

Ben smiled once again as he replied, "You're right."
