Note: The character Dahlia the White Wolf along with Jun the Tiger were created by myself and my best friend Meian16, I plan to write a fic where they are introduced formally after I complete this one or My Saviour.

Chapter Thirty-Seven
A Delay and a Result
Back in Mutopia, the Chicago Knights were making sure they had everything needed for the journey to New York.
They had made sure they had packed clothes and personal items as well as extra weapons.
As Tyroth had informed James that he would be needed, along with Dahlia, Mutopia's Head Nurse and trainee doctor.
Both the Chimpanzee and the white wolf were shocked but they agreed to go along with the Knights and they prepared their equipment needed for whatever injuries were sustained.
James checked his medical tools over and over as well as made sure he had enough bottles of the wells water for the Mutopians.
"James, the last of the items have been packed." Dahlia called over.
"Thank you." James replied as he closed his bag and looked over to the white wolf who looked concerned.
"What do you suppose is happening in New York Doctor James?" Dahlia asked.
"That I do not know my dear." James answered "But after Tyroth's information, he seemed panicked, and worried, after the vision he had when mediating in the temple of the Well, he has no reason to doubt his visions and he will listen to them, no matter how crazy."
"The Dragon has never been wrong when it comes to his hunches." Dahlia replied "And I know we must follow his orders, and as Mutopia's medical experts we alone hold the knowledge to heal those wounded, especially those not of Mutopia's making."
James nodded.
"Then if we are ready and prepared, let's go!" He said "I just hope that Rose and Tania can hold the fort until we return."
"I'm sure all will be alright." Dahlia replied "After all, the Knights are focused in New York and they will need us more than Mutopia does at present."
"That is true Dahlia." James said "Come on, we better hurry." He ran out of his medical room with the white wolf behind him.
As they arrived at the hanger of the Ninjet, they saw the Chicago Knights were loading everything into the aircraft.
"James! Dahlia, thank goodness!" Tyroth said as he was checking the controls of the Ninjet "You got all you needed?"
"We have yes Tyroth." James reported.
"So have we Big T!" Jack called over as he threw a bag up into the jet towards Percy who caught it and threw it in the back.
"Great!" Sephie said then looked to Sonia who looked nervous and gripped her sword.
Although the chameleon was a fully trained Knight, and she had encountered the Venomous Five when on her topside trips in New York, she was still scared as this was a more serious incident if it involved the Shredder, the very man she had been told who was a true monster and one of the most dangerous her family had encountered.
"I hope Pandora and Kemeko are alright." She said in a scared voice "Especially Kemeko."
We'll find out soon enough." Sephie assured the chameleon, "But you must follow our leads okay?"
"I promise!" Sonia said fervently, her skin green with focus and determination.
Outside the Jet in the Hanger, the Geckolings and Tania were saying goodbye to everyone as they climbed in.
Jun the Tiger was also there to see Dahlia off as well as telling her to be careful over there and to look after everyone.
Sephie and Sonia hugged the Geckolings as well as thanked Tania for her assistance in keeping an eye on them.
After the meeting in the Dojo, Sephie had told her children what her and Tyroth had to do, and the twins were scared and worried, but they were disappointed they weren't allowed to join them.
"Why can't we go too mum?" Loki asked "We want to help! The Hamato Clan are our family too! And Pandora and Kemeko are our team!"
"Yeah!" Freya agreed "We're the next generation and we need to see what we're dealing with!"
"You're not fully fledged Knights yet." Sephie explained "I'm sorry kids, but even though you have worked hard in both your fighting, in ninja, other fighting styles and even your dragon magic, you are both still young, and this is a serious issue we older ones need to handle ourselves, you do understand don't you?"
Both Freya and Loki looked crestfallen.
"Yeah." They said "We do, but we still wish we can help."
"I know." Sephie smiled hugging her son and daughter close.
Meanwhile, Tyroth looked over the controls of the Ninjet then started the engine, yet as he did, it spluttered and flashed a few times.
"Oh no! Oh seven hells no! What now!?" He bellowed.
At the same time everyone felt the jolting of the Ninjet as they were strapping themselves in.
"Don't tell me somethings wrong?" Sharky asked.
"And at a crucial time as well!?" Sarah cried.
"Talk about a blow up!" Percy quipped "Ow!" He felt Kate's whip strike his head.
"No time for jokes vermin!" Kate growled.
"What's wrong with the Ninjet hon?" Sephie asked looking over her shoulder to see Tyroth jump out of the cockpit and walk over to the side of the Ninjet to look and see what the problem was.
Loki raised an eyebrow as he watched.
Tyroth opened the hatch and studied the insides, everything seemed to be in order until he saw a few power cells had been disconnected and if that wasn't bad enough, a fuse had blown!
Tyroth's eyes flashed and he glowered.
"RATTLETRAP!" He roared at the top of his voice, so loud everyone swore that the hanger shook!
"You called?" A voice came from the side and everyone saw a dirty brown rat walking over casually despite Tyroth's furious bellow.
As soon as he saw the rat, Tyroth grabbed him around the neck and brought him close so he was looking deep into his eyes!
The rat was not expecting that and he choked then looked into Tyroth's eyes with the look of dread! He was so close the rat swore he could feel the heat from the Dragon's fire breath behind his clenched teeth.
"Ryan!" The Dragon snarled "What did you do this time!?"
"Do what?" The Rat asked feebly.
"The Ninjet!" Tyroth roared "Why is the Ninjet acting the way it is?"
"Um I dunno." Rattletrap shrugged despite the fact he was being held by the neck in the Dragon's giant paw "I put everything back the way it should go."
"Oh no you didn't!" Tyroth shouted "The damn thing spluttered and jolted now it won't take off!"
"What's the big hullabaloo anyway?" Rattletrap asked.
"A big one actually!" Sephie joined in "Our friends might be in trouble and we need to get to New York!"
As his father and mother were interrogating the rat, Loki walked over to the hatch and hummed to himself as he looked at the different wires and power cells.
Freya watched him intently.
"What are you doing?" She asked.
"Well if the guys are in a hurry and mum and dad are too busy giving Rattletrap a tongue lashing I can use it to try and fix this doo-hickey!"
"You sure you know what you're doing?" Freya asked looking over her brother's shoulder.
"Yeah!" Loki's replied "I hope," he added under his breath.
Tyroth glared at Rattletrap then opened his mouth before blowing a burst of flames, followed by a torrent of smoke at him!
Everyone gasped in shock as they watched not believing what was taking place and even Sephie was about to scream in protest, when the smoke cleared, and they saw Rattletrap's face was blackened by the smoke and the top of his head was bald!
Rattletrap's eyes were screwed shut and some of his fur was blown upwards, and when he opened them, he had brown rings around his eyes where the smoke hadn't stained his fur.
"Whoa Big T!" The rat cried "What in the name of tinkers!?" He felt around his face then the top of his head feeling where his fur had been singed off!
"What the? Ahhh! My hair! You burnt my hair off!"
Seeing the rat yell in horror, everyone started to laugh at the spectacle.
"Nice work there Big T!" Jack called.
"Serves you right you tinkering disaster!" Heather shouted.
"Don't say you didn't have it coming!" Jake tutted.
Devina shook her head and laughed then wondered whether to use her healing magic to help his fur grow back but Sharky and Sarah stopped her.
"He's a mutopian." They said "His fur will grow back naturally and a lot faster than normal."
Rattletrap held the top of his head and turned to run out of the hanger.
"I'm bald! You burnt my fur off!"
Tyroth then grabbed his tail.
"Come back here!" He growled "I'm not finished with you yet!"
"Don't make me all bald man!" Rattletrap yelled "Please don't! I need my fur to keep warm!"
"That was just the tip of the iceberg!" The Dragon growled "I'm gonna teach you such a lesson, I'll…!"
He wasn't able to say anything else when he heard his son's voice.
"Got it dad!" The male Geckoling yelled.
"Awesome job Loki!" Freya praised.
Tyroth, Sephie and Rattletrap looked over to see Loki holding up a power cell in his paw almost like a trophy then he placed it in the hatch as well as flipped a switch.
"There we go! Try it now dad!" He said closing it.
Tyroth looked at his son in surprise then turned to Sephie who nodded and grabbed Rattletrap's tail.
"You're not going anywhere!" Sephie wagged her finger at the hapless rat who gulped.
Tyroth climbed into the cockpit then started the engine of the Ninjet, and at once the aircraft sprang to life!
Everyone cheered and Freya patted Loki's back.
"Atta boy Loki!" The Knights cheered.
"Good show boy!" James applauded and Dahlia smiled in relief.
Rattletrap looked rather relieved and looked at Sephie in the hope she would let go of him, but she didn't much to his dismay.
Tyroth left the engine running and jumped out to congratulate his son.
"That's my clever trickster!" He laughed as he hugged his son "Though I'm not sure trickster is the right word!"
"I might be named after the tricker God!" Loki laughed "But you could say I know a trick or two to get things working again?"
"That makes sense!" Freya grinned.
Tyroth then turned to Rattletrap.
"Alright you!" He said taking a deep breath and everyone waited with baited breath.
They then gasped and yelled as Tyroth blew a huge burst of flames from with mouth which engulfed the rat all over for a few seconds and then he made them vanish and before them stood a naked Mutopian rat with all his fur singed off and exposing his pink skin!
Everyone stared in shock and Rattletrap looked down to see all his fur singed off and naked!
His eyes widened and he grabbed a couple of his larger tools to cover himself! All the while everyone started to laugh hysterically!
"Classic T!" Jake laughed "Just like in a cartoon!"
Tyroth smirked.
"I've been wanting to do that for months!" He chuckled.
Rattletrap blushed hard as well as glared.
"You burnt all my fur off!" He shouted "I'm naked! I'm all exposed!"
Dahlia then looked at Jun and smirked before walking over and exposing a syringe.
Seeing the wolf walk over the rat went pale.
"Oh man! It's Nurse Ratched!" He squealed.
He tried to run away but he was still held firmly by his tail by Sephie who knew what Dahlia was about to do and kept a tight hold.
The Rat squealed and kept trying to get away, but Dahlia walked up behind him and poked the syringe into his backside before injecting the contents and withdrawing it.
The Rat squeaked in pain as she poked him, yet a few seconds after the syringe was withdrawn, Rattletrap's fur began to grow back and before long he was covered in his usual brown fur.
"aww man!" Jack groaned "I was getting used to the bald look!"
"Yeah! Suited him best!" Kate agreed.
Rattletrap looked to see his fur had grown back and he looked at Dahlia who smirked.
"it was the water from the well!" She confirmed.
"What!?" Rattletrap squawked "You couldn't have just let me drink it!?"
"It was more fun this way!" Dahlia replied and the other Mutopians agreed and laughed.
Tyroth nodded at Dahlia who walked back to join Jun and James and he looked at Rattletrap.
"Have we learned something today?" He asked.
"Yes! Yes! I have!" Rattletrap squealed "Please let me go!" He begged Sephie who cocked her head on one side before she released his tail and the rat scurried away as fast as he could, tripping over his feet as he did so much to the amusement of everyone else.
After the rat left, Tyroth then turned to everyone as he remembered the task at hand.
"Okay! We better fly!" He said.
Dahlia hugged Jun and kissed him before turning to the Ninjet where she and James were helped in by the Knights, and Tyroth and Sephie hugged the Geckolings, thanked Loki for his quick thinking then jumped in themselves.
Tyroth started the jet and opened the roof to the hanger before the Ninjet started to hover, and Tania, the Geckolings and Jun watched as the Ninjet took off into the night sky, activating it's cloaking device at the same time.
The Geckolings looked worried.
"I hope everything's alright." Freya said.
"Me too sis!" Loki agreed.
Tania placed her hands on the twins shoulders as she looked up and Jun bit his lip hoping Dahlia would be safe.
"Stay safe love." He muttered quietly.
Lol! Rattletrap got taught such a lesson! Will he think twice before doing anything stupid with the Ninjet? Doubt it, he never learns!
If anyone doesn't know Nurse Ratched which Rattletrap calls Dahlia, she's a villain from the film 'One Flew over the Cuckoo's nest' and she even has her own TV show 'Ratched' on Netflix.
At least Loki was able to save the day!
So now the Knights are on their way to save their friends, but is the delay fatal? Well, you'll just have to wait to find out!
