Chapter 6 ¨ The bounty hunter known as: Samus ¨
Outer space
Samus's flagship "the Gunship" was traveling at high speed through outer space, dodging as best as she could the attacks of her two current pursuers, the Space Pirate Ridley and the pokemon Mewtwo, both of whom were flying behind Samus's ship to try to shoot it Down and capture her and Cap. Falcon.
Ridley shot his Fireballs towards the Ship, but its shield repelled them, Mewtwo tried to use his Psychic powers to stop the Ship, but something was blocking him, although he kept trying without much success.
"What's going on? My skills should have stopped that Ship without a problem" Mewtwo thought as he tried again to use his powers to block the ship without success.
Ridley Roared in fury and unleashed another wave of large Fireballs towards the Gunship, but the shield repelled them again, this frustrated the Dragon who Roared in fury and began to fly faster trying reach the Ship.
"I must capture these two as soon and quickly as possible" Mewtwo thought, before hearing another roar from Ridley and as he launched another fireball again "And before Ridley kills them both"

Cap. Falcon had never been as scared as he is now, of course he would never admit it and even though on the outside he was acting as usual on the inside he was dying of terror and well who can blame him, it's not every day you're chased by a Dragon and an Alien creature in a Spaceship at supersonic speed.
The ship shook again and Cap. Falcon unconsciously gripped his chair tighter, he looked at Samus who was calmly piloting the Ship as if nothing had happened, the ship shook again.
Samus? I don't think the Ship can last any longer" Said the captain.
"Don't tell me you're scared captain" Samus said without taking her eyes off the screen "You are really telling me that a chase is enough to scare you"
"Nothing ever scares me" Falcón said with an unconvincing smile "but right now I would like to get safely to wherever we are going"
Samus took a sharp turn to the right causing Falcon to let out a small cry and panic for a moment, Samus glanced at him and Falcon noticed that and quickly recovered and continue as if nothing happened.
"Really?" Samus asked.
"Just tell me where we're going, you only told me that we were going to help our old teammates, but how are we going to get to where they are? As I understand it, only Master Hand could take us there" Falcón quickly asked.
"I'll tell you in time, but right now we must get rid of these two" She answered and as she said that the ship shook again, the alarms began to sound throughout the ship, Samus looked at her screen and saw that the energy of the shields was about to run out. "Damn, the shields won't hold anymore"
"What do you mean by the shields won't hold anymore!?" Falcon asked in alarm, as he held on to the seat even tighter.
"Don't worry there's a planet up ahead where I can try to lose them" Samus replied calmly as she began to mark the course towards the planet.
"How can you be so calm at a time like this?" asked Falcon
"How can you be so scared?" Samus replied as she dodged an attack from Mewtwo "seriously didn't you tell me that story of you beating two gods in a race"
"Yeah, but that's completely different"
"I do not think so"
Suddenly the ship began to shake once more and the alarms began to sound even louder, Samus move her ship even faster in the direction of the planet, while executing more evasive maneuvers to dodge even more attacks from Ridley and Mewtwo.
"Time to do some Evasive Maneuvers! Get ready Falcon this landing is going to get rough!" Samus exclaimed, Falcon brace for the impact.
Meanwhile Mewtwo was still trying to shoot down the Ship and saw how the Gunship was heading towards a planet and thought of using this chance to take the ship down, he quickly communicated with Ridley telepathically.
"Ridley, Samus wants to go to that planet, this is our chance to shoot down their ship once we're on the surface, so it'll be easier to capture them" Mewtwo communicated with Ridley who responded with a grunt that seemed as close to a yes as possible.
The Gunship began its descent at maximum speed across the planet followed by Mewtwo and Ridley who began their assault on the ship then they began to combine their next attacks, Mewtwo charged a dark ball while Ridley fired a blast and together launched a powerful attack, Samus dodged part of the attack barely but still got hit and the Ship's shield was destroyed.
"Shield Destroyed" the alarms went off inside the Gunship, Samus focused on trying to get rid of Mewtwo and Ridley While dodging more attacks from both of them, Falcon simply grabbed his chair and started praying that both of them get out of this alive, The ship suddenly began to vibrate more as another attack hit the right Engine of the Ship, causing it to go falling uncontrollably towards the ground.
"We are falling! preparing ejection pods" Samus said before starting the ejection sequence of her, Falcon and her suit at the same time she activated the self-destruction of the ship along with a smoke screen to hide the direction of their ejection pods.
Mewtwo and Ridley watched as the Gunship Fall toward the ground at high speed when it suddenly released a layer of smoke, obstructing Ridley and Mewtwo's view for a few seconds, long enough for them not to notice the three pods that came out of the ship to the surface.
Unknown Planet - Forest
Samus and Falcon's pods landed in a forest, Samus was the first to come out and quickly scanned the area before heading towards Cap. Falcon pod She opened the door and found the captain in a fetal position trembling, Samus touched his shoulder to get his attention which caused Falcon to scream uncontrollable and scare her.
"Falcon! It's me calm down" Samus yelled, until finally the captain calmed down and quickly got up and regained his composure before exiting the pod as if nothing happened and began to look the área were they land.
"So, where are we?" Falcon asked in his confident voice, while Samus looked at him confused, but decided to let it go and concentrate on how to get off the planet.
"We are on the planet closest to your earth in your solar system" Samus explained as she took a Notpad out of her pocket and began to scan the area with it "The capsule where my suit is must be nearby, follow me"
Saying that, Samus started walking while Falcon followed her closely, both of them went further into the forest, unaware that someone was watching them in the distance.
Unknown Planet – Gunship Impact Site
Mewtwo and Ridley watched the remains of the great Gunship in the middle of the forest, Mewtwo quickly tried to use his psychic powers, but something was still blocking him.
"Ridley tear off the roof of the ship so we can enter and don't kill them" Mewtwo communicated with Ridley telepathically, who quickly flew over the remains of the ship and with his claws easily ripped off the roof of the Gunship once this was done Mewtwo entered the Ship and looked with surprise as it was empty.
"What!? but where could they go" Mewtwo wondered internally before speak to ridley "Search the area they shouldn't be too far away and remember don't kill them"
Ridley let out a grunt and flew off to look around, meanwhile Mewtwo stayed in the Ship looking for any clues to where Samus and Falcon could have escaped, while he was looking at the ship he noticed something that glowed behind some rubble, he began to walk towards it but the closer he got he was getting more weake and could hardly feel his psychic abilities immediately he moved away a bit and decided to remove the rubble from a distance, after a bit of effort he succeeded, under the rubble there were some symbols that he had never seen, these symbols were surrounded by some white energy.
"What is this?" Mewtwo thought while looking at the symbols in the distance after a few moments thinking, Mewtwo heard a small voice coming from the cabin, he looked at the symbols one last time before heading towards the cabin, once inside he saw that it was empty and the origin of the voice came from a screen that was counting the self-destruction of the ship and it was already going for 5…..4…..3…..2…..1…..0
Boom!
The Gunship exploded causing a great rumble throughout the forest, Ridley who was lurking in the Sky heard the explosion and went there to find Mewtwo on one side of the explosion without injuries, he had teleported at the last moment before the countdown end.
But Mewtwo wasn't thinking about the explosion, he was thinking about the symbol and why his powers weakened as he got closer.
"That strange symbol must be the reason why my psychic powers didn't work with the Ship" Mewtwo thought then noticed ridley who had just landed next to him "Did you have any luck?" asked.
To which ridley simply shook his head, Mewtwo was left thinking once more while looking at the remains of the Gunship "Okay never mind, we will find them and they have no way to escape from here, we will search the entire forest even if we have to tear it down"
Ridley, upon hearing that, smiled and gave a war cry and flew off to continue looking for his victims, Mewtwo followed him too but not before taking one last look at the wreckage of the Gunship.
Unknown Planet – Forest
Captain Falcon followed Samus through the forest, as they walked towards the capsule containing Samus's suit the captain was looking around every so often to make sure no one was following or watching them.
"You can stop worrying so muh you know" Samus said taking the captain by surprise.
"I can't I'm always alert so nobody take me by surprise" exclaimed the captain sounding confident.
"And the scare that I gave you now counts?" Samus asked with a smile.
"I was not scared"
"of course"
"Stop being sarcastic"
"I'm serious, I believe you"
"Stop bothering me!"
They continued talking and joking between the two of them without noticing how a figure kept watching them as they walked slowly towards their destination, after a few more minutes, they arrived at their destination, what seemed to be a huge cave surrounded by several ancient buildings, the capsule was in the entrance of the cave, Samus approached along with the captain approch it and they opened the capsule, Samus's suit was inside in perfect condition.
"We finally found it, and it didn't suffer any damage" Samus said happily as she looked at her suit.
The captain watched as Samus got into her suit, once inside Samus stretched a bit to and make a quick system check to make sure that everything was fine.
"All the functions of the suit are activated and ready for combat" exclaimed Samus.
"Good now those two are not going to be able to beat us" said Falcón happily while doing a fighting pose, Samus stare at him inexpressive.
"We can't face them, we need to find a way to get out of here to the extraction point" Samus said while reviewing a Holographic map in her right hand, this was a map of the solar system that marked her current location and the extraction site " We have to get here, right next to the moon of this planet."
Falcon approached and took a closer look at the Map and thought about how they could get out of this situation after all, Samus's ship was completely destroyed after that ruckus, not to mention that Mewtwo and Ridley were still hunting them.
"You know while we think of a way out, you should tell me how you got to Master Hand" asked Falcon.
"It's a long story, although I suppose we have time" Samus said before looking at the cave entrance in front of them "Let's go in first, we have to avoid being seen by Mewtwo or Ridley"
They both entered the cave while the figure that was watching them from afar approached where they had been standing, before turning on a small communications device.
"Yes, I see both of them, I sent you the coordinates of were I'am" the figure said before also entering the cave and following them cautiously.
Void Dimension
Zero was watching Master Hand and Crazy Hand as they continued to prepare for the tournament, everything was going according to plan for now, those silly gods were too focused on their stupid event to notice his plans, but before he got any further with In his thoughts a portal opened behind him, and a shadow-shrouded woman with white hair stepped out and knelt before him.
"Master, I'm glad to report that another crystal has been found, I'm going to go look for it myself" the woman said in a cold monotone voice.
Zero turned and looked at her with a smile, before tell her to get up off the ground, then slowly approached her before summoning a small sphere of black energy, the woman watched closely as the sphere displayed an image of a large futuristic city, with tall buildings in black and gray colors and a strange green energy could be seen in the environment.
"I detect that in this place you can find another diamond" Zero exclaimed as the woman carefully observed the place.
"Okay, I'll send a team to that place immediately-"
"No" Zero interrupted her before summoning a portal with his right hand and from here two figures wrapped in darkness came out, these were Fox and Falco, they both approached Zero and knelt before him.
"Let's use our newest acquisitions to take care of that problem, meanwhile you continue with the diamond you had located" Zero said and with a snap of his fingers he opened another portal and signaled for Fox and Falco to get up, they stood up and walked through the portal that closed behind them.
"Before you leave, did you get any updates from Mewtwo and Ridley?" Zero asked as he turned his attention back to the ball of energy that showed Master Hand and Crazy Hand.
"Not my master, but I'm sure they will complete their mission soon" the woman replied before making a small bow and opening a portal, but before going through it she heard Zero say.
"they better"
Unknown Planet Surface – Forest
Mewtwo and Ridley were flying above the forest in search of any clue that would lead them to the direction that the captain and samus had taken to escape, after a few minutes flying Ridley noticed two capsules in the middle of the forest, he quickly let out a growl towards Mewtwo to notify him and descended in the direction of the two capsules, Mewtwo descended next to him, once they landed they realized that the capsules were empty.
"We find a clue, but in which direction could they have gone" Mewtwo thought as he looked around for tracks, suddenly Ridley roared causing him to turn around, Ridley pointed towards some structures that were seen in the distance.
"Do you think they could have sought refuge in that area?" Mewtwo asked with interest, to which Ridley nodded, saying this he began to fly towards the direction of the structures, Mewtwo followed him closely.
"Samus, Falcon I will capture them both at any cost" Mewtwo thought as he and Ridley flew at high speed towards the structures that were next to the cave.
Cave – Inside
Samus and Cap. Falcon stopped inside the cave to discuss possible ways to escape the planet and avoid detection by Mewtwo and Ridley.
"Do you think it's a good idea for us to stay in here?" the Captain asked as he and Samus looked at the different paths in front of them.
"Yes, caves usually have underground passages that go for many kilometers underground connecting with other exits on the surface, it is better that we stay below the ground than walk out on the surface" replied Samus before analyzing the different paths before them with her suit and to where they lead.
"Yes, I suppose that makes sense" said the captain, finding no fault with Samus's logic. "By the way, you must tell me how you got here."
"Sure, after we explore the cave more I'll fill you in on everything," Samus said.
After scanning the area with her samus suit, she guided the captain through the different paths of the cave as they went deeper and deeper into it, the paths became smaller and uncomfortable to traverse, but in the end they came to a chamber inside the cave where they had enough space to stay and rest.
"We'll stay here until we can figure out how to get out of here," Samus said before sitting down on a rock.
"I really hope we can get out of here fast, I want to start the adventure that awaits us" exclaimed the captain before also sitting on a rock.
"Well I guess it's time I filled you in on everything" Samus said before taking off her helmet and putting it to the side.
"Yes, I really want to know what exactly we are up against," said the excited captain.
"Okay, I'll tell you about my encounter with Master Hand and Crazy Hand in the White dimension or better yet I'll show you" Samus said before pressing a button on her left hand causing her suit to project a hologram, but neither of them noticed a figure in the dark, the figure was watching the exchange in silence.
"My entire journey began in my dimension back on the planet Zebes," Samus exclaimed as the hologram began to recreate the events so the captain could better understand.
The figure while looking at the hologram began to communicate on his radio with someone.
"Guys, you're really going to like what I found, things have gotten very interesting" he whispered with a smile as he continued to watch from the shadows without his victims realizing what awaited them.
