Here we are at Chapter 7. Time for a little more fun with Ruby, who gets a double package in the form of a pair of twins. I do not own RWBY. They belong to roosterteeth. Here's chapter 7. Enjoy.
Chapter 7: Double Reward
Summary: After finally making it to Vacuo and the reunions that came after, Ruby Rose is very tired. However, she finds that two sisters have come to serve as her personal maids, in more ways than one.
Ruby Rose is exhausted. She and her friends finally made it to Vacuo after taking a little detour through the Ever After. Those that were waiting for her and her team were beyond happy to see them alive again. Ruby was too. Seeing her father, her uncle, her friends and the families of her teammates. Seeing the forces of humanity united, truly united because of her message to the world. Ruby's never felt happier before. But, now that the little festivities are done, it's all catching up on her. While there is still much work to do, the others understood that Team RWBY and Jaune are in desperate need of some rest. Jaune went off to catch up with his team, Weiss wanted to spend time with her family, and Yang and Blake went off somewhere to be alone. Ruby truly was happy for them. All of them. Her team have been given a place to stay for the time being. With so many students from the four academies at Shade, rooms at the school were hard to come by. She didn't mind. She really wanted some quiet. Approaching the small home that had been provided, she opens the door... then freezes in place.
"Welcome home, Mistress Rose," two voices ring out.
Standing before her are two girls, a few years older than her by the looks of it. One has waist-length black hair, while the other only has shoulder length black hair. They have matching green eyes and pale skin. But that's not even what freezes Ruby in place. What does is their outfits. The two girls are wearing maid outfits with short skirts, stockings and garters, headbands, and long-sleeves, all with a few frills or bows to add to the outfits. The only difference between them is that while one is primarily white in color, the other is red.
"Um... what's... going on?" Ruby has no idea what o make of this.
"Please forgive our sudden appearance. I am Miltia Malachite," Miltia says with a bow of her head.
"And I'm her twin sister, Melanie. We've both decided to serve as your personal maids for the evening," Melanie adds.
"My personal... maids? I don't think Weiss is here, though," Ruby says.
"No, we're YOUR personal maids, Miss Rose. To serve you and only you," Miltia clarifies.
"But... why?" Ruby asks.
"Because of what you've done. You're the only one who has united all of humanity, and even the Faunus, together under a common goal. The people will look to you now for guidance. In their eyes, you're a true hero. Lots of people are going to want to get close to you as well. Better get used to it," Melanie explains.
"So, we have been tasked to attend to you and look out for you. Now, please, allow us to take care of you," Miltia says.
The twins walk over and take Ruby's hands in their own before escorting her inside. To Ruby's surprise, they make a delicious meal for her first. It's been so long since she's had a really good meal. Plus, they had cookies as well for dessert. Even though this is still weirding her out a bit, it's not that bad. It's only when they prepare a bath for her do things start to get a little... intense. When Ruby steps inside the tub, the water is splendid. She leans up against the side of the tub. It's been a while since she's been able to wash up too. However... the twins have another idea.
"Please allow us to clean you," the twins say together.
"Huh?! What?! No, that's fine. I can do it myself!" an embarrassed Ruby yelps.
"That won't do at all," Miltia says.
"Please, leave everything to us," Melanie adds.
Melanie gently lifts up Ruby's right arm from the tub while Miltia goes for her left leg. Ruby's blushing face turns even redder at the exposure. The girls start slowly and meticulously washing her limbs. Their hands are soft as they move the sponges across her skin. The warm water is soothing and the attention slowly makes Ruby relax.
"Truth be told, while we know how to fight, we're not huntresses," Miltia says.
"We were bodyguards for a club in Vale. But, our aunt ran the Malachite crime family in Anima," Melanie adds.
This makes Ruby nervous again. Crime family? Were these two criminals? Would they try to hurt her? Did they work for Salem?
"Although, we weren't too big on the whole crime business. Especially after our Aunt's last big plan years ago almost got us killed and forced her to remain in Mistral. There's plenty of stuff we enjoy, and plenty of stuff we don't," Melanie explains as she switches to her left arm.
"But, we can't exactly enjoy anything if the world gets destroyed. And since this Salem chick is the one responsible for destroying our club and messing up our fun back in Vale, we'd like to return the favor," Miltia adds as she switches legs.
"So, is that why you're here to help? And why you're helping me?" Ruby asks.
She gets the feeling that they won't try to hurt her by this point.
"Well, we saw your message. I don't know, we just felt... inspired, I guess. We're not all that interested in being heroes. But, if we helped save the world, it might make things easier with getting our club put back together. And get more customers in there too. Who knows, maybe trying the hero thing might be fun," Melanie says.
"What she's trying to say is that you convinced us to try. That's all there is to it. We're just... returning the favor," Miltia says.
By this point, her limbs were done and the twins moved on to her body and her hair. Ruby just lets them do their thing. If she's being honest, it did feel nice. Though, she did feel a little embarrassed that they're coming to the fight because of her. Once they're done, they dry Ruby off, which only makes her blush more, and then hand her a bathrobe. They then escort her to one of the bedrooms in the home.
"Please, wait here a moment and then we shall return for you," Miltia says before they leave Ruby outside in the hall. Ruby plays with her fingers as she waits. It's too silent in the house. A few minutes later, she hears a voice. "You may come in now,"
Ruby slowly opens the door... and freezes once more. The room has one large bed and a few dressers. Lit candles are spread throughout the room, giving off a lovely scent. Standing in front of the bed are Melanie and Miltia; their maid outfits replaced by a white and red silk kimono bath robe respectfully. The only things they still had on from their first outfits were their stockings and garters.
"Welcome, Mistress Rose," the twins bow to her.
"Um, what is all this?" Ruby looks around, holding her robe tightly.
"We're sure you must've been exhausted from your detour to get to Vacuo. Whatever that might've been. So, we are here to give you a nice massage," Miltia says.
"Please, allow us to take care of you," Melanie adds.
"Um, you really don't have to do that. Or any of this really," Ruby is a bit hesitant.
"No need to worry. We promise you will enjoy every moment of it. Now please, let us help you," Miltia says as she gently takes Ruby's arm and escorts her to the bed.
They sit her down and Melanie comes behind her to remove her bathrobe. Ruby squeaks as she gets exposed and swiftly covers her chest. The twins giggle at her reaction. Ruby just hopes Yang won't kill them if she finds out what they did the night before. She's come to like her new personal maids after all.
