When Hyacinth arrived at the Leaky Cauldron, she put her hood up over her head so no one would know that she was there so she wouldn't get mobbed. In the wizarding world, most witches and wizards were raised with decorum and manners, but you wouldn't know it with the way they crowd and invade her personal space. Not wanting to stay in the Inn for long, she made her way to the entrance of Diagon Alley and quickly made her way into the bank. Cin did not understand why witches and wizards failed to respect those that keep their money safe, but she wasn't one of them.
"Good evening, Master Goblin. I need an inheritance test done as I do not have my key," she requested and would request all other keys voided when she met with her account manager.
The goblin looked at her for a minute and then stepped away from his station. "Come with me," they went into a room with nothing but a table with a piece of parchment on it.
"You're going to point your wand to the parchment and wave it. It'll list your name and the name of your parents and guardians. If you want a more in-depth test done, it will be done by your account manager if you have one," the goblin explained.
Thankfully, Leo and Daphne had been teaching her everything she needed to know about the magical world, so she knew her magical core was recorded at birth. She took out her wand and walked over to the table where the parchment was. She pointed her wand at it and waved it slightly, sending a couple of sparks to it. Seconds later, a name began to form.
HYACINTH IOLANTHE LYSANDRA POTTER BLACK
Under her name came her parents and guardians.
LORD JAMISON FLEAMONT POTTER (DECEASED)
LADY LILIAN GRACE POTTER NEE EVANS (DECEASED)
LORD SIRIUS ORION BLACK; GODFATHER (ILLEGALLY INCARCERATED; ON THE RUN)
ANDROMEDA VINDA TONKS NEE BLACK; GODMOTHER
ALBUS PERCIVAL WULFRIC BRIAN DUMBLEDORE (ILLEGAL)
"May I meet with my account manager, please," Hyacinth requested, trying to keep the rage out of her voice. Dumbledore was a failure. He has failed at keeping her safe, and if she discovered that he has taken anything out of her accounts, she'd sue him for everything he was worth, and take away his power base.
When they reached the entrance to Ragnoks office, it was like the entrance to Hogwarts except a bit smaller with gold jewels and Goblin paintings and writings written on it. Two heavily armed goblins stood by the door both scowling and standing at attention.
"Enter." said a deep dark voice when the clerk knocked on the door. Hyacinth walked in and saw a large room with rubies, sapphires, emeralds, diamonds, gold, silver, bronze, platinum, pearls, and many other gems covering the walls and ceiling along with many statues of goblins and armor in stand-in corners.
Ragnok was the tallest goblin Harry had ever seen. He was still shorter than Hyacinth but unlike Sharptooth and Griphook he was at his chin. Ragnok seemed to radiate authority and power and the battle scars and blades all around told Hyacinth that this goblin was a force to be reckoned with.
He grinned a cruel smile but his face was covered in scars and seemed to have some shades of wrinkles but he hid it well.
"Greetings King Ragnok may your enemies fall before you," Hyacinth said as she bowed alongside the clerk, who she just realized the nametag, said Silvertooth.
Ragnok's eyebrows rose at the greeting but still scowled out.
"Greetings Heiress Potter Black may your enemies fall before you as well now what seems to be the problem today that requires my authority?" he asked with a cruel smile.
"Not that I know of. You are not just the Goblin King, but you are also my account manager. I need an in-depth inheritance test performed, please. And I need all other keys voided, as I haven't had it in my possession since I was eleven," she explained.
"Drop three drops of blood onto this parchment, and before you ask, the blood will disappear, as we don't keep it," he instructed as he handed her a dagger. She followed his directive and watched words appear on the parchment. She picked it up, and read it, stunned the further she read. The further she read, the more enraged she became.
"Can you put a stop to Dumbledore withdrawing anything from my vaults? And can you get back everything he has taken out of my vaults? Can you do the same with the Dursley family? They have abused and neglected me my whole life, and I want them out of my house as soon as possible. I would like it torn out," she requested causing Ragnok to smirk. He had a feeling he was going to like this witch as he had prior Potter previously.
"I can," he confirmed. "I'd like these blocks taken off of me, please," she requested and he let her into the ritual room. Cin was happy that it hadn't been Voldemort putting his powers into her, but instead the Slytherin family magic. She wanted no part of that monster. Although his previous goals were amazing, he somehow lost his mind along the way and became a mindless killing machine. It took a few hours for the blocks to come off without killing her, and it felt like she had been hit by a hundred blasting hexes, but Cin had never felt freer.
"Is there anything else I can do for you, Heiress Potter?" he asked when they entered his office.
"Please, combine my trust vaults into one vault. I need all previous keys voided. Also, last year, I killed a thousand-year-old basilisk and would like you to harvest it, and add that to my trust vault. I do not know what I want done with the skin and teeth, but you are welcome to the meat. I'd like the venom to be sold to positioners, and the profits to be split fifty-fifty between the two of us," she said smiling as his eyes widened in surprise. Cin knew no other witch or wizard would do such a thing.
"One last thing, publish my parents' will and sue the Ministery for taking ownership of my cottage. My parents' deaths and my pain are not for people to witness. After you get the cottage back, place it under the Fidelius Charm, and cleanse it of the dark magic used that night, please. I plan to restore it," she kindly instructed.
"It will be done, Heiress Potter," Ragnok said as he watched the young lady leave his office. He wasn't surprised in the least that she wanted her home back as it was rightfully hers. It had belonged to her family since Godric Gryffindor himself. "Your ancestors would be very proud of you," he muttered long after she left his office before getting everything he needed together. That young lady was going to be making a few enemies, but overall, her life was going to be hers to control from now on.
