I was bored, so here you go.

Four Years past after the arrangement between the head of the mainbranch and the head of the sidebranch was settled. Hanakos training under the watchful eyes of Hizashi continued and beared fruits that even the most optimistic branch members didn't see coming. With the help of Hizashi and more importantly with the experience her father had with large chakra reserves and the accumulating problems with chakra control, she managed to overcome the milestone which was the Hakke Rokujuuyonshou (Eight Divination Signs, Sixty-Four Palms of the Hand).

Hanako joined the ninja academy shortly after her 6th birthday. It is also there where she met Itachi Uchiha for the first time. The Uchiha boy was a quit one, never looking for problems and mostly keeping to himself. He had an air around him that, unwillingly on Itachis part, made every other academy pupil feel inferior to him. The reactions of those pupils where different to say at least. Every girl minus one had a crush on the mysterious dark-haired boy, while most boys despised him for his indifferent attitude. Hanakos opinion on Itachi was… she was annoyed! While she respected his intelligence and his achievements in the ninja arts, his aloofness got on her nerves. He didn't try to integrate in the class, with the future shinobi and kunoichi of the village in the hidden Leaf, he always kept to himself and didn't bother giving anyone more than one glance.

Hanako knew she shouldn't be bothered with this anti-social child and just focus on herself. But after a rather eventful day with a mob of children trying and mostly failing to hurt the Uchiha prodigy, one managed to grab the boy from behind while another landed a punch on his face. All those actions accumulated in a poof of smoke and the revelation that Itachi Uchiha didn't even attend to most classes and rather send a shadow clown to take that part of his development. This was a breaking point for Hanako… Such insolence to all the teachers and pupils attending the academy was too much for her to take. So she made up her mind. She would show the boy that he was not that special, even if it meant that she wouldn't hold back on the spar she would have with the dark-haired boy the next day.

The spar section of that day class started. The teacher decided to put the spar between Itachi and Hanako to the very end. Every pupil of her class and most teachers that didn't have a class to teach at that moment anticipated this particular spar. Itachi Uchiha vs Hanako Hyuuga. Prodigy vs Prodigy. Number one of the class vs number two. Hanako knew that Itachi was, for better of for worse, the better shinobi. He was better than her in Ninjutsu, Genjutsu theory, Shuriken and Kunai skills and even in the small part of Kenjutsu training the pupils where part of. But in Taijutsu classes they were on par. Today would be the day which would show who put those skills better to use in a somewhat real fight.
Both children entered the ring while the teacher and referee for the spar moved between both pupils and addressed both. "Take your starting points, you are allowed to use everything in your disposal which we normally won't allow but this spar is different. We have enough teachers here that can intervene and prevent critical injuries. First one to leave the ring or lose the fight will lose this spar. Give it your all".

With that the referee left the ring. Hanako looked at Itachi and he was wearing the same indifferent look on his face that he always had. Hanako closed her eyes and took a long breath that left her with a sigh.

"Hey Itachi-kun, I know that I'm not as good as you are, so please don't hurt me too much. I still have bruises from clan training…" She said while touching her left shoulder with her right hand, signaling that she has some kind of injury there, while putting on the best 'hurt little girl' expression she could muster. Itachi looked a little perplexed, even a bit apathetic.

"… I am sorry to hear that Hanako-San. You don't have to worry, I won't hurt you badly."

With her faint placed successfully, both parties took their starting points and waited for the referee to start the spar.

The teacher looked at both student and shouted "HAJIME".

Both parties instantly jumped back the end of the ring facing each other. Itachi weaved hand signs and to start the clone jutsu. Three fake Itachis appeared and together with the real one they rushed at the Hyuuga girl. Itachi wanted to end this spar as quicky as possible without hurting the other party. So he went for a simple strategy. Create Clones to distract his opponent and shove her out of the ring while she is confused.

Itachi shorted the distance between him and Hanako in a short time, he was faster than a normal academy student should be. His first cloned attacked while Hanako took a defensive stance. The fake Itachi went through her and disappeared, leaving a confused Hanako at the edge of the ring. Itachi didn't expect her to get rattled so quicky, so he went for the real attack faster than he planned. He nearly reached Hanako when she fell on one knee and started to hold her left shoulder, looking down on the ground while wearing a pained expression on her face. Immediately Itachi stopped his attack, becoming worried that her classmate had injuries that where more severe that he anticipated. Meanwhile Hanako activated her Byakugan, which she never did in all the other spars she had beforehand. She leaped from her kneeing position, immediately seeing that the Itachi in front of her was the real one. She didn't hesitate and went for the "kill".

"Two palms" Itachi looked shooked when he started registering what just happened.
"Four palms" He was still too perplexed to stop the four strikes that hit him.
!Eight palms!" He wanted to defend against Hanakos onslaught bit his limps didn't follow his commands
"Sixteen palms!" Itachi could nothing but watch as his body refused to obey his orders while tanking strikes that seemed to get faster and faster and more painful with each attack.
"thirty two palms!" At this point the Uchiha boy already started to lose consciousness.
"sixty-fo..." Before Hanako could end her attack one spectating teacher jumped into action and stopped her arms from reaching at the nearly unconscious boy while the referee and teacher jumped in front of Itachi to defend the boy if necessary.

The referee turned around and checked the boy that fell to the ground. He seemed satisfied with Itachis condition, signaling that the boy didn't accumulate too much damage. He stood up and declared Hanako the winner.

The audience was silent through the whole ordeal, be it the other pupils or the free teachers. They didn't expect the normally so sweet Hanako to conceive another human being and to top that, to manhandle her opponent the way she did. The first ones to react was the Itachi hateclub, aka, most of the boys in her class.

"SERVES YOU RIGHT; YOU IDIOT"
"HOW DOES THE DIRT TASTE, POOPYHEAD"
"NOT SO GOOD NOW, ARE WE"

The Boys were followed by the Itachi Fanclub, which of course contained all the girls in Hanakos class except her.

"HOW COULD YOU DO THAT HANAKO!"
"THAT WAS UNFAIR!"
"YOU CHEATED!"
"OH MY SWEET ITACHI…"

But Itachi and Hanako did not hear those shouts. Itachi, who was barely conscious, looked Hanako in the face. She had a smug look in her face. Finally, she teached the boy the lesson he deserved.

"You tricked me…" Itachi said, which was barely loud enough that Hanako could hear it.

"Hmph, we are Shinobi, of course I will use everything to beat my opponent."

The reaction that followed was not was Hanako expected. She wanted him to get mad, or cry or just be silent in defeat but instead he just smiled. HE SMILED.

"Well fought Hanako…San." Itachi said and finally lost consciousness.

Hanako couldn't stop the flush that was reaching her face. Just what is wrong with this kid…
