Police sirens and loud voices sounded from all around. A girl stood on the rooftop of a building looking down at the many police as they rushed into the building. The girl smiled as the first few police stepped onto the roof. "There is nowhere left to run." a man in a green suit said while pointing at the girl. This man was Inspector Oniyama, and he made a vow to stop this girl and her thefts.
Stepping out of the shadows and into the moonlight, the girl smiled at the inspector. The girl has long silvery white hair that reached the back of her knees and the bottom curled and stuck up, she has beautiful soft blue eyes with a strange indigo scare. The girl is dressed in a dark blue shirt with puffy sleeves, a red vest with yellow buttons, a pair of matching red shorts with a yellow belt, white gloves, purple thigh-high socks, red ankle boots, and the girl's head dawned a dark blue top hat with a checker theme band around it. The girl had a purple mask but it didn't do anything to hide her face. This girl is Jacklyn Jones a.k.a Joker.
Joker laughed, "Inspector, I'm Phantom Thief, Joker, I always have a place to run." she said then pulled out a deck of cards. "Straight Flash!" Joker held the cards up and bright light erupted from it blinding the many police. Joker laughed and jumped off the building grabbing onto a passing rope. Looking up to the sky Joker saw her assistant Hachi waving from the sky Joker. Joker waved back and began to climb the rope as the Sky Joker got higher into the sky.
Back on the roof of the building the police were recovering from the flash. The inspector rubbed his eyes and saw Joker getting away, again. Inspector Oniyama grits his teeth and points at Joker, "FIRE!!" he ordered and the police wasted no time. Bullets began shooting from guns all of which were missing Joker. "Stop her, STOP HER!!" Inspector Oniyama yelled while stomping his foot on the ground. The police kept firing and there was one lucky shot. A bullet passed just above Joker's head and cut the rope she was climbing. The police fell silent, the only sound was Hachi and Joker's screams as the Phantom thief fell to the ground.
Joker's schemes were silenced when she came in contact head-first with the ground. Joker laid on her back staring up at the sky with wide eyes. She couldn't move, she tried to speak but all that came out were wheezes. "MES.JOKER!!!" Joker looked up at a little boy in an airship, he was looking at her with terrified eyes. 'Wait, is he talking to me? Wait, who am I' Joker thought before her vision became foggy and she blacked out.
The police were racing off the roof to surround Joker but they noticed her state. Every officer stepped back, "Is she dead?" one asked, "Someone check her pulse!" another called. Inspector Oniyama jumped through the wall of officers with a smile and pointed at Joker. He was about to say something but stopped when he saw Joker laying on the ground, not moving. "MOVE!!" Inspector Oniyama was pushed aside by his assistant Ginko Kurosaki who rushed and knelt beside Joker. Everyone held their breath as Kurosaki felt Joker's neck. There were a few moments of silence before Kurosaki's eyes widened, "Shirai, I have a pulse, get the car door open!!" Kurosaki called and Picked Joker up from the ground.

There was a rhythmic beep beside Joker, Kurosaki, Shirai, and Oniyama all stood watching Joker. The three had finally got what they wanted, but it isn't exactly how they imagined it. "She's been like this for a week. When will she wake up?" Shirai asked she sounded like she wanted to cry. "The doctors said it could be any day now, we just have to keep waiting," Oniyama said and headed for the door.
The police had a great deal of free time in the past week. None of the other Phantom thieves had been active, no thefts, no notices, nothing. None of them tried to visit Joker to check on her either, that part actually made Kurosaki sad. However, she didn't let herself feel much pity for Joker, she was still a criminal.
"I'm gonna go now." Kurosaki turned to Shirai and gave a nod. The three had been spending nights at the hospital to watch Joker, and tonight was Kurosaki's turn. The purple-haired woman pulled a chair up to Joker's bedside, she refused to take her eyes off Joker for a second.
Kurosaki kept staring at Joker until her eyes wandered to the girl's long hair. The purple policewoman began tapping her foot on the ground and drumming her fingers on the bed. This continued for a few minutes until Kurosaki cabed and began separating Joker's hair into separate sections.
Kurosaki had caught Shirai braiding Joker's hair on one occasion, so why couldn't she? Yes, it was probably weird but it saved them from having to brush knots and tangles from the girl's hair. Kurosaki hummed while she braided.

The birds chirped outside the hospital room window. Kurosaki had her head laid on Joker's bed and was snoring loudly. Believe it or not, this was the first decent sleep Kurosaki had since they captured Joker. However, the door of Joker's room was thrown open and Oniyama's scream was heard halfway across the city of Japan. Kurosaki shot up and stood at attention then took notice of the empty hospital bed before her.
"AHHHHHHHHHHH!!" a doctor quickly rushed into the room. "Hush, hush, we have patients trying to sleep." The doctor said. The two officers looked at the doctor, "Calm down? Joker is gone!!" Oniyama screamed before falling to the ground. "All my hard work down the drain," he said. The doctor sighed, "She is not gone, she woke up and has been in examination for an hour." the doctor said and the two officers began to dance with joy. The doctor stared at the two with a twitching eye then left.
Karusaki and Oniyama kept dancing with Joy. "We caught Joker, we caught Joker!!' they cheered dancing around in circles. Kurosaki then took notice of Shirai in the hallway with a doctor and rushed out to her. "Shirai, we caught Joker, haha!!" she exclaimed hugging the other tightly. Kurosaki sat Shirai down and noticed the sad expression on her friend's face. "Hm, what's wrong?" Kurosaki asked looking from Shirai to the doctor.
The doctor handed Kurosaki a file. "Jacklyn Jobes or Joker as you call her has amnesia. She remembers nothing of her past, she only knows her name because we told her." the doctor said. Inspector Oniyama who was dancing behind his two assistants crashed to the ground after hearing this. Quickly standing up he snatched the file from Kurosaki and his eyes widened, "WHAT, NOW WHAT ARE WE-" Inspector Oniyama stopped mid-sentence.
A smile broke across the inspector's face and his assistants shared a look. "So, when will she be released?" Inspector Oniyama asked. Kurosaki and Shirai had no clue what Oniyama was doing, but it must be a good idea.

Joker was laying in a hospital bed looking out the window. "My name is Jacklyn Jones. Why can't I remember anything else?" she asked becoming frustrated. Jacklyn tried to remember something, anything but she just started giving herself a headache. A soft knock on the door made Jacklyn stop and turn her head. The door swung open and Inspector Oniyama rushed in and hugged Jacklyn.
"Jacklyn, oh my darling daughter I thought I lost you." he cried hugging Jacklyn tightly. Jacklyn was a little surprised by this, "you're my dad?" Jacklyn asked and Inspector Oniyama pulled away from the hug and nodded. "Yes, I am. The doctor said you have amnesia and won't remember much, but that's ok, we will be here." Inspector Oniyama said gesturing to himself, Kurosaki, and Shirai. Jacklyn looked at the three and smiled, "Ok," she said.
Kurosaki smiled back, "The doctor said you can leave in a week, so just rest." she said and pulled the other two from the room. "Sir, what exactly is the plan here?" Kurosaki asked, not sure what was going through her boss's head. Inspector Oniyama smiled, "It's easy, Joker doesn't remember anything, right?" Kurosaki nodded. "Good, so all we have to do is brainwash her into believing the life we're going to give her is the life she always had. While doing that we use her as bait to draw the attention of the other Phantom thieves and bag them one by one." Inspector Oniyama said and Kurosaki was amazed.
"Sir, that is an amazing idea. But how do we do that?" Shirai asked and Inspector Oniyama gained a dumbfounded look. "Uh...Im trusting you two, you have a week," he said and handed the two his wallet to cover any kind of expenses. "Yes sir," the two policewomen said then left.
"Hey, Kurosaki, with the mention of the other Phantom thieves. What do you think they're doing?" Shirai asked. Kurosaki just shrugged, there was no way of knowing what they were up to. The two exited the hospital and didn't notice the doctor trailing behind them.

Back at the Sky Joker, Hachi sat on the couch curled into a ball. The little assistant hadn't stopped crying since Joker was taken. Ai, Rose, and Roko had been trying to comfort him but they were having no luck. "Hachi, everything will be ok," Ai assured but it did nothing to help the little ninja. The other assistants frowned and looked to their masters for help but they couldn't offer any.
Just then a doctor walked through the door. Everyone stood to their feet, the doctor began to expand like a bubble before turning into Silver Heart. "Grandpa, please say you have good news." Queen please, Silver Heart could only shake his head and re-tell what he heard from the police. Everyone was shocked and couldn't believe what they were hearing.
"What are we going to do?" Roko asked walking over to stand by Queen. Silver Heart frowned, "First, we get shadow and then we think of a plan." he said and everyone nodded. "I'll go get Shadow," Spade said and headed to the balcony of the Sky Joker. Spade opened the door and stepped out into the cool air. Looking around Spade's eyes landed on a girl leaning against the balcony railing.
The girl looked almost exactly like Joker, the only difference is that her hair is a cyan color, and her eyes are a piercing yellow. The girl wears the same clothes as Joker but with a Dark purple, black, and red/pink color pallet. This girl was Cyan a.k.a Shadow Joker. She once held a grudge against Joker but that hate blossomed into love and the two eventually started dating. Everton, despite Hachi's current state, knew Shadow was suffering the most.
Spade walked over and placed his hand on Shadow's shoulder. "Shadow...?" Shadow began to tremble before turning and throwing herself into spades arms. Shadow began to cry and Spade was shocked for a moment before hugging Shadow tightly. Shadow buried her face into Spade's chest, she didn't know what to do with herself.
"It's gonna be ok," Spade said hugging Shadow tighter. He would ensure it would be ok.
