I don't know how many HIGHLANDER fans are still out there in the world, but if their are still some out there, I hope they find this little fanfiction story of mine an enjoyable read.
I started this story some time ago, about two years ago in fact. Between my career and my bad habit of jumping between writing multiple stories without a nary one of them completed, it is currently still very much in the writing production phase. It took me quite some time to finish LEGACY of BATMAN and DEADPOOL & THE ATROCIOUS X-MEN TIMELINE also and I swear that MIAMI VICE: SEASON SIX has not been totally abandoned either for the few who enjoyed that first episode that I released. In fact, I'm 80% complete on the second episode.
HIGHLANDER: THE GAME CONTINUES has been completely outlined since before I even started writing the Prologue and my intent had been to complete the entire story before I even posted it but that hasn't worked out for me thus far.
One of the things that I hate most about fanfiction stories is that I occassionally find one that I genuinely enjoy and some of them end up never getting completed by the author and I'm left feeling somewhat bitter by that fact. I wanted to try and have a completed fanfiction story to post for anybody interested in my stories but I have given up on that notion. I want to put this story out there and I'd like to get some honest opinions from anybody who enjoys it...or for anybody who hates it, for that matter. I enjoy both positive and negative criticisms.
This story is my attempt at trying to rationalize a few plot holes in the HIGHLANDER franchise. Such as, Connor MacLeod winning The Prize at the end of the original movie but yet The Game is still going on when HIGHLANDER: THE SERIES began airing on television. Don't hate me but I even made an attempt at trying to explain HIGHLANDER: THE SOURCE early into this story. Read it before you get too judgemental on me.
Anyway, I hope my HIGHLANDER fans enjoy what I've written so far and be rest assured, it may take me a little while but I always finish what I start...unless I'm dead, of course. At that point any incompleted stories are not my fault but the good news is that I'll try to remain alive long enough to complete any stories that I've began.
KaydenLance OUT!
