"Hmm…" A Caucasian woman with purple long hair hums, studying the sight in front of her as she does. Sporting a black skin tight suit, she holds two peculiar red colored spears, one in each hand. Jeanne and Maverick stand in front of the woman, and while armed, the Berserker glares while kneading her wrists together.

The dual spear wielder they face is unnamed, but a description from Archer, combined with the obvious clues, tells Maverick and Jeanne her identity.

Before this, a few days have passed since the meeting with Assassin and what follows. With Archer's push for Maverick and Jeanne to, as he puts it, 'experience the battlefield', the entire party leaves their base for a patrol. While nothing is heard from the bowman's side, the side of the sword wielding pyromancer is much more eventful.

"So you are the Berserker." Lancer comments and sighs, her words bearing a foreign accent, "Bloody hell." "You got a problem?!" Jeanne shouts. "Besides Archer, the others, say for maybe Assassin, are bloody daft. You were the only one I didn't meet, so I had some expectations. Now…" Lancer sighs again.

"Fuck off, you fucking Archer." "Archer." The 'bowwoman' brandishes one of her weapons, "You see this, don't you. Or is that why you are a Berserker?" "Why don't you use a bow, you dumbass? Guess those arrows compensate for something." As 'Archer' smiles menacingly, her enemy's Master stares at her.

"Okay, fuck this." After speaking, the spearwoman once again thrusts at Jeanne, pushing her back despite her defense.

"Still think my 'arrows' compensate for something?" The Lancer asks. "You know what I mean." Jeanne continues glaring as she responds, prompting an angered roar from the enemy before said enemy unleashes a flurry of thrusts, constantly pushing her back.

"You are a bloody bawbag!" The Lancer shouts upon her assault's end. "Hei, I thought I was the Berserker." "Argh!" The spearwoman throws her weapon, and Jeanne summons an explosion to parry it before unleashing her own projectile. The inferno connects, but its victim rushes ahead, and as her 'arrow' nears its target, Jeanne manages to back away.

Seeing this, Maverick continues studying the enemy, whose advance is unhindered by the fire consuming her.

"Archer!" Maverick shouts, and the 'bowwoman' turns over, glaring and ignoring the fact that her enemy's blade has pierced her chest. "I guess… I guess…" Maverick continues to watch the enemy, whose look persists.

"You guess what? You fucked up?"

After speaking, the enemy sends Jeanne flying with a swing, and she herself seemingly flies up to Maverick. "I will admit that bampot's way tougher than she looks, but you…" The other Servant tries to run to her Master, who takes a quick peek before turning back to the enemy, and he sees it.

The enemy's weapon flies, and pain burns its target's chest, but his effort ensures he remains standing.

"What?" Lancer stares at her handiwork, and Maverick takes another look behind her before backing off. The tip of a long sword then runs through her chest, having come from behind, and as she turns around, black flames erupt out of the sword.

As Jeanne prepares for her Noble Phantasm, her target continues watching her. While said target's expression is unseeable to Maverick, the lack of panicked voices suggests she is unbothered by what is about to happen. And thus…

"Völkermord Feuerdrache!"

Maverick stares at the aftermath of his Servant's endeavor. "Fick…" Jeanne mutters as the recipient of her Noble Phantasm heals from the attack, glaring at her as she does. Maverick then sees it once more, the enemy winding up before rushing at her target. Jeanne parries the attack directed at her. Then, as her enemy winds up for another thrust, she moves in.

"How!" Lancer shouts as Jeanne backs off after landing a slash. "Hei, you are the fucking Archer that decided to fight close range." "I am not an Archer!" The 'Archer's' assault continues, and so do Jeanne's evasion and counter. The result, the attacker suffering an increasing number of healing wounds.

Meanwhile, with the enemy occupied, Maverick continues to watch the fight. "J- Berserker!" He shouts out, and the saint, after cutting their enemy and backing off, stares at him. "Behind you!" Her words cause him to freeze, before he then hears her inferno rise behind him. She then screams as he continues looking at her.

"Grr…" Jeanne growls, backing away and pushing on her bleeding shoulder as she does. "Aha… hahahaha! I got you, you ugly dobber!" Lancer roars triumphantly. As she does, Maverick balls his fist and turns behind, allowing him to see the cause of his Servant's warning.

A covered up figure, one, while shorter than Archer, is still quite tall. Like the Master of Saber, he too wields a handgun. Maverick begins to move, causing the gunman to miss his shots. Meanwhile, the young man's Servant too remains on the run.

"Berserker, focus on Lancer!" Her partner's shout directs her, drawing an "Oh" before she dodges another thrust, having moved before the attack has been mode. "Guess a lucky shot's all you got, huh, you dumbass!" "Shut yer geggy!"

Thus, while 'Archer' unleashes a hail of steel, the Berserker wields one less physical. One storm is more effective than the other, but no real damage is done, for the dominant pair remain on the run.

As Maverick makes another jump, he hears it. Gunfire. However the one pursuing him prevents him from verifying the source. His Servant, on the other hand…

"Oh Lancer." Jeanne's call prompts the bleeding Servant's smile. "Finally stop being daft?" "Not you. Him." 'Lancer' sighs as his rapier displaces his rifle, and speaks while facing both enemies, one of them gritting her teeth and glaring at the other as he does.

"Berserker. I'd say she is the bigger threat. Truce?" The Berserker sighs. "I would tell you to kill yourself, but I really can't deal with her stupidity." "Argh!" 'Archer' roars before resuming her assault, and the newcomer keeps his word.

'Lancer' stares at his blood-covered weapon before looking ahead. While her rather luscious body and face are covered in red, the woman the rapierman had stabbed endlessly continues to pursue her own target, forcing said target's still persisting retreat.

"Oh, by the old man's small dick!" Jeanne shouts in her native tongue before switching, "Just give it up already. Attacking me won't make you smarter!" "I am smart!" 'Archer' roars, and black fire builds up on one of her enemy's katanas. "Go to his shitty kingdom!" The saint shouts, once again in non-English, while swinging her weapon and unleashing her inferno.

"Argh!" Lancer, the actual Lancer, howls while charging at her target, who moves to the side and unleashes more flames. "Enough!" Lancer shouts, and with a rune showing up behind her, Jeanne is pushed back.

"Argh!" While still burning, the spearwoman hurls one of her weapons at her target. As an explosion redirects the spear, Lancer places one hand to her mouth and whistles.

Darkness spawns next to her, and a horse matching the void's color runs out from it. The animal runs past Lancer, and she jumps onto the creature and rides it into the distance. "Niquer toi!" Jeanne roars as fireballs fly from her hand and towards the enemy. It does not stop Lancer, however, who while on fire, seemingly spawns a rune behind her and her mount.

With the rune stopping the attacks landing on her, the rune wielder then jumps into the air, avoiding the black balls that pursue her, and her grip on her spear loosens.

"Gae Bolg!" She shouts as she kicks the weapon, prompting Maverick to cry out Jeanne's name as they both stare.

The sound of air being sliced is heard, and after an explosion, Jeanne lets out a grunt of pain, her Master staring at her as she does. "That is…" Lancer then looks around, "Archer! Come out! I am done with these fools!"

One of the Greek Servant's arrows has crashed into and severed Lancer's Noble Phantasm, before said arrow landed right next to Jeanne, destroying the ground it crashed into.

Now, hearing no response from the Servant she called, Lancer points one of her spears at Jeanne. "Maybe I have to kill that bitch first?" Another arrow then flies, piercing her chest. "YES!" The Lancer shouts while removing the projectile from the wound, "How long has it been?! Since that mutt upped and left, I've been left with nothing!"

With the projectile out, Maverick sees some of the red liquid around the wound boiling. "The same poison?" Lancer comments before inspecting the liquid, "Pointless." She then splashes it at Jeanne, who shouts and unleashes a fireball.

"Calm down, woman. I am acquainted with one crazy immortal, I have no interest in another." Archer says, his tone way more playful than usual. "Crazy immortal? Wh- Her? No… not even your father was that much of a sex craze." "Who do you think I am?" At the question, the Lancer raises an eyebrow. "Are you not Hercules?"

"Seeing you are asking for my name, why not give me yours?" "Very well." While smiling, the Lancer turns to Jeanne, "Hear me, yer damn choob. My name is Uathach, daughter of Scathach!" The Berserker and her Master stares, and the daughter of Scathach continues. "Haven't heard of me?"

After a pair of shaking heads, she continues. "What about my mother?" Receiving the same response, she sighs. "Suppose this is expected of a dumbass Berserker." Maverick balls his fist at the Lancer's words, and as he and Jeanne watch the woman, his voice plays without him realizing.

"Hei, don't talk about J… I mean, Berserker like that." His words draw eyes from both Uathach and Jeanne, with even Diamandis complaining through a communicator he lent to his ally. Uathach then seemingly flies up to Maverick once more, with him backing off slightly.

With a sigh, Uathach speaks. "Don't tell me you are chickening out." "Chicken out, Li." Despite Diamandis' words, Li takes a deep breath and moves, prompting the enemy's smile.

"All right, you have something down there. You ain't the dog, or a hero, but you are worth something. Too bad you are still as useful as a soggy sock." The young man takes a deep breath.

"Pretty sure Scatharch would like that over you."

He once again freezes. While the only thing he ever wants is by nearby, with her even making her way to him, he is unable to move. All he can do is watch as the spear approaches, with him able to tell that the weapon might not be metal now that he is close.

Arrows, ones way smaller than the last ones, fly, hitting the daughter of 'Scatharch' and pushing her back. "Uathach!" The man who fired shouts, "You want me! Come!" The Lancer once again glares at Maverick, with Jeanne putting herself between them. Uathach then growls, and a giant arrow once again pierces her chest.

"Have you chosen defeat?" Archer continues, and the woman he shot points a spear at Maverick. "You will die. Both of you will die." With those words, the black void and her mount spawns, and she rides.
