CHAPTER III: BROTHER OR ENEMY?

Despite their shared struggles and intertwined destinies, Sankira and Kawaki's relationship was far from harmonious. They clashed like dogs and cats. Their constant bickering and confrontations often overshadow family gatherings and celebrations. The mere presence of one would instantly provoke the other, turning joyous occasions tense and uncomfortable.

The friction between Sankira and Kawaki reached a boiling point multiple times. On one occasion, they even nearly came to blows. The intensity of their rivalry threatened to spill over, risking harm to themselves and their family members. Naruto and Boruto, the pillars of the Uzumaki household, had to intervene, preventing the confrontation from escalating further.

For Sankira, the root of their animosity remained a perplexing mystery. He couldn't understand why he and his adoptive brother couldn't find common ground or develop brotherly camaraderie. Though, there were fleeting moments when their hidden bonds would shine through. Moments showed their willingness to protect each other and their loved ones when danger loomed. However, the constant clash of their personalities often overlooked these instances.

Perhaps, deep down, Kawaki's integration into the Uzumaki family wasn't as seamless as it appeared. Could it be that his tumultuous past and connection to his former organization, the Kara, played a role in Kawaki's strained relationship with his brother? Did he see something in Sankira that others failed to notice? Maybe Kawaki received knowledge or hints from Isshiki Ōtsutsuki, the person responsible for inflicting Sankira's traumatic experiences.

Kawaki's mindset and actions seemed to revolve around protecting his beloved father, Naruto Uzumaki. Perhaps he viewed Sankira as a looming threat, driven by an innate desire to eliminate anything that could harm Naruto. This instinct to eradicate any potential danger to his father would be a trait Kawaki wielded with him, a belief forged from his troubled past that would stand by him in the future.
