An black Elder Dragon with white spikes is seen feasting on a dead Kushala Daora in the Elder's Recess. Daora was attacked by four hunters until it intervened and basically kill steal it, forcing them to run away as they're in no condition to fight it as they're also heavily injured. This is Nergigante, the Extinction Elder Dragon and feared Eater of Elders.
Nergigante is enjoying its free lunch and is about to take another bite when he felt another presence nearby, putting on him high alert. It was different yet possesses energy akin to Bio-energy that he feeds on. He saw something exiting from the lava area and sure enough, it was a quadruple, purple and pink cat-like creature with bladed arms and a spear-like tail, purple flames. The monster is Magnamalo, the Malice Wyvern and the Devourer of the Rampage.
Magnamalo growls as he eyes the corpse of Daora and roars a challenge to Nergigante, who did not take kindly to his meal getting taken and roars back. Magnamalo rushes forward and takes a swipe at Nergigante, who ducks sideways and punches the fiery cat away. Magnamalo jumps and tries to stab Nergigante with his tail, but the Elder Dragon jumps away before throwing a right hook into his face.
This staggers Magnamalo but he recovers and tackles the Elder Dragon. The two Monsters wrestled top. Magnamalo's tail blade is emits hellfire fire before thrusting it at Nergigante. The Eater of Elders leans sideways, but the tail ade instead struck his left arm, making him roar in pain from the burn. But this distraction costs him as Magnamalo does the same attack to his other arm and head before he bites his right arm and tackles him down.
Enraged, Nergigante throws a left hook at Magnamalo's face, hard enough to break some parts of his horn. This stuns the Fanged Wyvern long enough for Nergigante to turn the tables and toss Magnamalo away. After recovering, the angered Devourer of the Rampage roars as hellfire starsy coming out from his mouth and his tail blade into a halberd shape. For Nergigante, white spikes appeared from his arms and head.
Nergigants roars as he slams his left arm down which launches the spikes a deadly projectiles, but Magnamalo sites hellfire projectiles of his own, cancelling each other out. Both Monsters lunged at other and spun in the air, with Magnamalo on top and begins biting Nergigante.
The Eater of Elders turns and slams his down to the ground while his spikes turned black. However, Magnamalo recover and jumps towards Nergigante by boosting his jump with his hellfire, the force providing momentum as he tackles the Elder Dragon.
Nergigante panics and throws him again, but Magnamalo used the same method to tackle him again. Magnamalo seizes the chance and pounces him down with his a boost from hellfire, intent on finishing him for good with an explosion. But midway, Nergigante unexpectedly turns the tables and flips the table, with Magnamalo now being the one about to be slammed as he roars in vain. An purple explosion occurs with black spikes flying everywhere.
When the smoke clears, Magnamalo is seen groaning weakly as his body is covered in bruises and impaled by multiple black spikes. In contrast, Nergigante has a few cuts and burns while his spikes regenerated in no time. The Eater of Elders stalks his way towards the downed Magnamalo and raised his claw. Magnamalo had a look of horror on his face before Nergigante slams his claws on his face, crushing his brain and splattering blood all over his body.
With Magnamalo dead, the Eater of Elders spreads his wings and roars into the heavens, showing his triumph over the Devourer of the Rampage.
