Chapter Two-hundred and forty-five: That girl, Nina!
The reborn trainers, after waking up in Hammerlocke and heading out, had arrived in Stow-on-side. Inhaling through his nose, Kenny said, "Ah, Stow-on-side. Home of the pints and chumpits."
"Wait, what?" Trip said, looking confused.
"Forget trying to figure Kenny out," Dawn said, "I've long since given up hope of trying to unravel the bunched up Christmas lights that is Kenny's mind."
"As you should," Kenny replied, "For now that we are in Stow-on-side, we can prepare to bring the wrath of cringe down upon the heads of whatsherface and the other one."
"You... mean Bea and Allister?" Trip asked.
Cracking her neck a bit, Mina said, "I say we ask around, look for how to get going to the Stow-on-side gym. That way, Kenny can punish whatever poor sucker of a gym leader is chucked at him."
Thusly, the reborn trainers went about asking for directions to reach the Stow-on-side gym. At one point, Mina scrambled up a fire escape ladder when the group was rushed by a group of fans of televised battles who had seen Dawn and the boys battle on TV so far. When Dawn and the boys were looking to be completely swarmed, a sharp whistle sounded out, catching the attention of everyone. "Oi, why don't you back off," a girl's voice called out, sounding to be around the same biological age as Dawn and the others in her group.
Everyone turned to see it as Marnie, who the reborn trainers were able to identify, came walking up. The reborn trainers were not expecting to see the little sister of Spikemuth gym leader Piers here in Stow-on-side. "Why don't you all run along now?" Marnie said, "You're crowding around them and making it impossible fot them to go anywhere. For crying out loud, you all had even scared one of them up a fire escape!"
Properly shamed, the crowd dispersed, and after they were gone Mina came back down. "I don't suppose that has happened to you guys a lot?" Marnie asked.
"More often than what we would have preferred," Dawn replied dryly. Although the reborn trainers knew who Marnie was, she didn't know that they knew, so the reborn trainers had to play dumb. "I'm guessing you saw us on TV and know who we are," Dawn said.
Marnie nodded once in the affirmative. "Yeah, I got the gist of who you guys are. You're Dawn Berlitz the Champion of Sinnoh, the blonde guy is Trip, the other guy is Kenny, and that girl who was scared up the fire escape is Kenny's cheerleader."
Mina nodded once in the affirmative. "The name's Mina."
"I'm Marnie," said Marnie as she gave her name to the reborn trainers, "I got it that you all are going from city to city here in Galar to challenge the gyms and earn the badges there. It's been a big thing people have tuned in for on the telly. That being said, I'm going to be seeing you guys again but over in Spikemuth, given that my big brother Piers is the gym leader over there."
"And that begs a question," Kenny said, "What's a Spikemuth girl doing here in Stow-on-side?"
Marnie had a bit of an unsure look on her face. "...Nina wanted to visit someone here."
"...Nina Bloomingwood, right?" Dawn asked. When Marnie expressed surprise at Dawn knowing, Dawn explained that she and the others got some details from Professor Magnolia, who had given Nina a Scorbunny some time ago.
Marnie nodded once in understanding after hearing Dawn's explanation. "...Yes, you got a lot of stuff right on the money."
Gesturing to Marnie, Kenny asked, "I don't suppose we can see Nina, can we?"
"...She's fond of the Kenny Harris Studios movies, which I know you guys are the brains behind," Marnie remarked, "Alright, but don't go rushing her. You ought to be patient with her, show her some understanding." The reborn trainers nodded once in understanding before they proceeded to follow Marnie off to where Marnie said that Nina was visiting someone.
To the surprise and concerned worry of the reborn trainers, Marnie led them to the local hospital in Stow-on-side. After bringing the reborn trainers inside with her, Marnie eventually led them to a hospital room where a gentle and motherly looking mid-forties woman was laying in the hopsital bed in the room, a cast on her left forearm. She was fair-skinned, had dishwater blonde hair in a chin length bobcut, wore black square frame glasses, and was undeniably fat, looking to weight at least two-hundred and thirty kilograms.
In the room with the fat and motherly looking woman was a girl looking to be around the same biological age as Marnie and the reborn trainers. This girl was slender and fair-skinned, with bright and fiery looking eyes hidden behind purple framed glasses, and she had long and straight wine red hair. She wore a purple scally hat, a purple dress under a purple hoodie, black leggings that had yellow lines that went up the outer and inner sides of her legs (the leggings disappeared under and into her dress), a pair of punk looking gloves with a single spiked bracelet on just her left wrist, and a pair of bright yellowish, close to golden looking, boots. She also wore a purple sports rucksack on her back.
"Young lady, you really didn't have to come all this way just to check up on me," the fat woman said to the girl, the woman's tone gentle and appreciative, "I wouldn't want you to have to go through so much trouble just for my account."
"But I heard you got hurt and were admitted to the hospital, Mrs. Spencer!" the girl said, "And you were nothing but super nice and everything to me while my mom and I still lived in Stow-on-side! I just had to come see you to see if you were okay!"
"Hey Nina," Marnie called out, getting the girl to perk up and turn to look at her. Jerking a thumb at the reborn trainers, Marnie said, "Some guests came along as they had expressed an interest in seeing you."
"Oh!" the now identified Nina said as she walked around the bed that the now identified Mrs. Spencer was sitting up in, then walked over to Marnie and the reborn trainers. "You guys have been on the telly because you're battling gym leaders here in Galar," Nina said, "And you also work in Kenny Harris Studios, making those really cool movies!"
Smirking a bit in amusement, Kenny said, "Well it's always nice to meet a fan."
Nodding once, Nina turned her attention to Dawn. "You're Dawn Berlitz, the Sinnoh Champion," Nina said, "I really liked the character that you had played in that cute Clauncher and me movie. Oh, can I ask how you were able to make wearing a fat suit and prosthetic double chin look so realistic that it looked as if you were fat for real?" After hearing Nina ask her question, the reborn trainers all looked surprised at her. This did not escape Nina's attention and she instantly began looking worried. "I didn't say anything weird or offensive, did I?" Nina asked, sounding like she was sorry.
"Actually," Kenny said, "You are literally the first person who talked about the fat characters Dawn had played in the movies I made who correctly guessed on the first try that Dawn was actually just using a fat suit. Everyone else who asked about it thought that Dawn was gaining and losing weight for real."
"How did you know?" Trip asked, sounding similarly as amazed as Kenny did.
Looking a bit confused, Nina said, "Be... cause it's impossible to gain and lose that much weight so quickly? Why, who thought that Dawn's weight was fluctuating for real like that?"
Pulling out a small spiral bound notepad, Kenny said, "I had taken up keeping a list."
...
The reborn trainers, with Marnie and Nina, found a place to sit down so that they could chat. Both Marnie and Nina were surprised to hear not only the sheer number of people who failed to guess what Nina had guessed correctly on her first try, but who some of the people were specifically. "Seriously? Even flippin' Leon?" Marnie said, "Wow, I had no idea the light in his head had gone out."
"But Leon doesn't have a light in his head," Nina said, "He has a brain in his head, just like everyone else."
"It's a figure of speech, Nina," Marnie explained, her tone towards her friend gentle and understanding. Turning to look at the reborn trainers, Marnie said, "Yeah, Nina here sometimes takes things literally. It's just part of her charm."
Mina nodded once in understanding. "Yeah, we got it from either Professor Magnolia or her granddaughter Sonia that Nina here is autistic. Oh, umm, you don't mind us talking about it, do you Nina?"
Gently shaking her head, Nina saidd, "You guys aren't being mean or bullies about it."
"So Nina, tell us," Kenny said, "You mentioned that you liked Dawn's character from the Clauncher and me movie. Why is that?"
"She had exuded this kind and warm and gentle and welcoming air about her while she was being motherly to that adorable little purple thing," Nina said, "It reminded me of Mrs. Spencer, who I visited in the hospital earlier."
"Yeah, Mrs. Spencer is a special teacher trained to worked specifically with autistic children," Marnie said, "Nina often saw her while she and her mom still lived here in Stow-on-side."
Pointing at Nina, Kenny said, "You actually described the kind of personality I wanted Dawn's character in the Clauncher and me movie to give off to a 'T'. You're pretty good at this stuff, Nina."
Blushing a bit out of embarrassment, Nina looked down. "Oh, umm... thank you."
"So I'm guessing that the cast that was on that Mrs. Spencer lady's arm was why she was admitted to the hospital?" Trip asked.
Nodding once in the affirmative, Marnie said, "Yeah. Apparently she was in an accident and got a rather nasty fracture that necessitates the cast. Nina when she heard about it insisted on coming to Stow-on-side to visit Mrs. Spencer, due to worry and wanting to make sure Mrs. Spencer is okay."
Nina nodded once in confirmation. "I'm still worried as I can tell Mrs. Spencer is still feeling hurt because of her injury. But I'm glad she's alive and is going to be okay. She's a sweet and nice person who had never been nasty or mean, and she doesn't deserve mean any nasty things happening to her."
Dawn took note of how much Nina cared for the very large woman recovering in the hospital right now. "Mrs. Spencer means a lot to you, huh Nina?"
"Nina... hasn't had the nicest time in the world when it comes to others being nice to her," Marnie began to explain, "Because of her autism, she had been treated as an outcast, as a weirdo, by most everyone else. Mrs. Spencer is one of the very few persons in the small handful of persons I can name that hasn't been a load of bullocks towards Nina over her being autistic. The other very few persons who are actually nice to Nina are her mom, myself, my older brother Piers, and a specialized worker who lives over in Spikemuth."
"Marnie is literally my only friend who is human," Nina said, her tone and expression sad and resigned, "My only other friends are my Pokémon."
"Nina here is loads stronger of a trainer than anyone else I know," Marnie said, a sincere look of amusement on her face, "Heck, I'm trying to convince her to enter the next World Coronation Series season. With the strength and skill she's got, she's a shoo-in to make it into the Masters Eight."
Looking a bit panicked, Nina said, "Oh no, I'm not that strong of a trainer. I'm just really good at taking care of Cinderace and the others."
Nodding once in understanding, Dawn said, "Yes, Professor Magnolia told us she had given you a Scorbunny a while ago, and that it's now a Cinderace."
"...Hey Nina," Kenny began.
"Hmm?" Nina replied.
"I wanna see if you're as skilled and strong as Marnie claims," Kenny explained, "I wanna have a battle with you. We'll make it a two on two affair, single battle style. What say you?"
Nodding once in understanding, Nina said, "Okay, that sounds fair."
Smirking in amusement, Marnie said, "Trust me, you'll be hard pressed to beat Nina."
...
The reborn trainers found a good place for Kenny and Nina to have their battle at. Gesturing to Nina, Kenny said, "Alright, we both send our first Pokémon out at the same time. Ready?" Nina nodded in the affirmative as she expanded a Pokéball to send her first Pokémon out. When Marnie gave the cue, Kenny and Nina both sent out their respective first Pokémon each. "Okay, Godzilla!" Kenny said as he sent out his named Tyranitar, "Let's make it cringe!"
"Go on, Cinderace!" Nina said as she sent her Cinderace out, "I know you can do it!"
Smirking in amusement, Kenny said, "This oughta be a cinch. Godzilla, use Rock Slide!"
"Cinderace, counter with Iron Head!" Nina called out.
Godzilla used Rock Slide to conjure a hail of large and heavy rocks, but the named Tyranitar was caught off guard by Cinderace busting through all of the rocks that fell at it by headbutting them with its head shining like polished metal. The shining head went on to ram right into Godzilla, making it stumble back as it tried to regain its bearings. But while it was vulnerable, the preteen autistic girl was going to strike while the iron was hot.
"Cinderace," Nina said, "Use Low Sweep!"
Cinderace stuck its foot out, dropped into a crouching position, then spun around while tripping Godzilla's feet out from underneath it. The named Tyranitar fell back and hit the ground hard, and when the dust settled, everyone saw that Nina's Cinderace had defeated Kenny's named Tyranitar. "Well played, Nina," Kenny said as he called back the defeated Godzilla. Tossing up the ball containing his second Pokémon, Kenny called out, "Okay, Roshi! Let's make it cringe!"
After Kenny's named Torterra came out to battle, Nina swapped her Cinderace out. "Cinderace that's enough, come back! Go on, Barraskewda! I know you can do it!" Dawn, Trip, and Mina were wondering why Kenny was taking a gamble with sending Roshi out, as its grass made it weak to Cinderace's fire. But then Nina had called back her Cinderace and sent out a Barraskewda; did Nina fear Roshi's ground striking a hard hit against Cinderace's fire, to the point that she was using a Barraskewda despite the type disadvantage to try and score some damage on Roshi to soften it up for Cinderace to come in and take down?
Questions for later, as Kenny was not intending to go down easy. "Roshi, use Seed Bomb!"
"Barraskewda, use Poison Jab!" Nina called out, prompting her Barraskewda to rush in, its entire body glowing purple, as it busted through whatever Seed Bombs flew near it and went on to not only land a solid strike against Roshi, but also inflict poison on it as well. "Use Psychic Fangs!" Nina called out.
"Roshi, use Crunch!" Kenny called out. Barraskewda, due to its superior speed, was able to land Psychic Fangs first. But then Roshi bit down hard with Crunch, pulling Barraskewda away and tossing it off. "Now use Seed Bomb again!" Kenny called out. Roshi conjured up another Seed Bomb attack and this time was able to land a solid it on Barraskewda with it. The attack ended up defeating Barraskewda, but there was still how Barraskewda had landed two solid hits, and Roshi was suffering from its poisoning, taking another hit from poison damage.
After Nina recalled her fainted Barraskewda, she tossed up a Pokéball while calling out, "Go on, Cinderace! I know you can do it!" Kenny was in quite the bind, given that his last Pokémon not only was already heavily damaged and afflicted with an ailment causing D.O.T damage, but it faced a type disadvantage now against an opponent who was still perfectly fresh health wise.
However, before the battle could continue between Kenny and Nina, the familiar voice of Rose called out, "Oh, there you guys are!" Everyone stopped what they were doing and saw Rose and Oleana come walking up. "We got it you had arrived in Stow-on-side," Rose said, "And already people are lined up outside of the Stow-on-side gym to go in and watch the battles live!"
"We're also earning a commission off of tickets to see your battles against the gym leaders of Galar live," Oleana said.
Gesturing to the reborn trainers, Rose asked, "What are you guys doing hear near the mural?"
Jerking a thumb at Kenny, Dawn explained to Rose, "Kenny wanted to challenge this girl to a battle. They both have one Pokémon left each."
"You guys are going to have to call this battle a draw," Oleana said, "Dawn Berlitz and her companions are on a schedule."
Marnie rolled her eyes. "Whatever you say." Turning to look at Nina, Marnie said, "The sports show-business has rendered this battle inconclusive, Nina. We can get going, have your Barraskewda treated, then return home to Spikemuth."
Nina nodded in understanding before recalling her Cinderace. The two girls were about to leave, but Rose stopped them. "You girls live in Spikemuth?" Rose said, his tone resonating with piqued interest, "Then perhaps you know Piers, the gym leader in Spikemuth."
Gesturing to herself, Marnie said, "Well of course I know Piers. He's my older brother."
"Oh, so you're Marnie," Oleana said, sounding indifferent. The tone from Oleana struck a nerve with Marnie, but she kept a lid on it and led Nina out of there. After the two girls from Spikemuth were gone, Oleana turned to look at the reborn trainers. "Why did you let some random girl distract you with a battle?" Oleana asked, "You guys have gym leaders to battle, you know."
"Something about that Nina girl made me wanna battle her," Kenny said, "Call it a hunch, but I got a feeling that she'll be a trainer that will take the world by storm."
Oleana dismissed Kenny's hunch with a roll of her eyes before she and Rose led the reborn trainers off to the Stow-on-side gym. As the reborn trainers walked, Trip whispered to Kenny, "Dude, that made how many times a fully evolved starter kicked your Tyranitar's ass now?"
Shrugging, Kenny whispered back, "At least it wasn't one belonging to a Team Scorn admin."
Sometime later over at an undisclosed location in the Galar region, Marnie was talking to a random fair-skinned girl. This girl, aside from being fair-skinned, also had long wavy brown hair, and she wore a yellow long-sleeved blouse with rippling sleeve ends and a similarly rippling hem at the bottom, a pair of dark blue pants, yellow socks, and dark blue dress shoes. A Team Scorn heater shield patch, dark blue with a yellow Team Scorn 'S' in the middle, was on her blouse over her left breast.
As for Marnie herself, she wore a yellow and dark blue pallet swap of her normal outfit. The dress was yellow, the leather jacket dark blue (the silvery accents were now yellow), her shoes were dark blue with yellow accents and a yellow sole, and her leather choker was dark blue and from it hung a silvery Team Scorn heater shield charm. Even the ribbons that were in Marnie's hair had been replaced with yellow ones. Looking to the girl with long brown hair, Marnie said, "How had Barraskewda's treatment gone, Captain Yuu?"
The now identified Captain Yuu replied, "All that Barraskewda needed was a Revive, a Max Potion, and some Leppa Berries to get back to perfect form." Arching a wry eyebrow, Yuu asked, "So what were you and Admin Scorbunny doing in Stow-on-side again, Admin's Assistant Marnie?"
"Someone outside of Team Scorn who the Admin cares about personally was hurt, so she wanted to see said person to check up on them," Marnie explained.
Yuu nodded once in understanding to Marnie, who was the Admin's Assistant that served under Admin Scorbunny, head of Team Scorn's Headphones Sector which is based in the Galar region.
...
Nina sat alone at a desk in an office in the Team Scorn base hidden in Galar. Nina now wore a pallet swapped version of her outfit from before, but this one made use of yellow and dark blue as opposed to mostly being purple. The dress is yellow, the hoodie is dark blue, the stockings were also dark blue, the boots were kept, and the gloves were yellow with the spiked bracelet being dark blue. Nina even replaced her glasses with identically shaped ones that had a dark blue frame. The only thing off about Nina's outfit was that she didn't wear a hat.
Instead, around her neck she wore a pair of dark blue noise canceling headphones, with yellow Team Scorn heater shield insignias on the outside of the things that go over the ears; the yellow shields had dark blue Team Scorn 'S's on them.
Nina, in truth, was the head of Team Scorn's Headphones Sector, Admin Scorbunny. They were the first people to not discount her solely because she is autistic; in fact, she had been able to befriend Admin Brother who heads up Team Scorn's Katana Sector which is based in the Johto region. Nina was also able to become friends with Brother's Admin's Assistant Akari, and Nina and Akari were both surprised to learn that both of them are autistic. Yes, Nina has indeed made many friends ever since she had joined Team Scorn in secret, as did Marnie who willingly chose to follow Nina into the inter-regional criminal organization.
But Nina couldn't say she was friends with them, given that they are criminals. In fact, Nina was well aware that she and Marnie are also both criminals as well, and it always worried Nina about what would happen should it be discovered. That's why it was arranged for Nina and Marnie to be able to live double lives, allowing them to live both in the world of Team Scorn's work and outside of Team Scorn's rule. It also had a practical purpose, as they could act as spies of sorts given that their cover has not yet been blown.
Nina really liked how Team Scorn had been with her. They didn't discount her, didn't hold her back from competing. They had a meritocracy thing going where if you prove yourself, you'll get more respect. As a result of that, Nina had risen to the position of Admin, meaning that in Galar, she ran the show for Team Scorn. Although the autistic Admin was still well aware that she has to defer to Boss's Assistant Ayane, as well as Boss Pariah himself, if either of them got involved. But they were very good leaders to the other people in Team Scorn.
That included being nice to Nina herself. Team Scorn, who are a lot of criminals, were nice and respectful to Nina. They didn't treat her like her autism was/made her an ugly sight, they treated her much the same as they treat everyone else, they gave her the same deal they gave everyone else. They only wanted Nina to, and gave her a chance to, prove that she could be of use. Well Nina had certainly done so, and they were impressed enough times to see her rise all the way up to a position where she was commanding an entire sector that was in charge of a region.
Criminals gave Nina a chance. Actual, literal criminals gave Nina a chance, respected her, while everyone Nina had ever known outside of Team Scorn aside from a select handful of people had tried to un-person her essentially, keep her sequestered away because they saw her as nothing but a burden due to her autism. Outside of that very select handful of people (with one of said people following her into Team Scorn), the only humans Nina had ever known that were kind, respectful, and courteous to her were members of an inter-regional criminal organization.
So... why? Just why? Why was it that Nina didn't start making more friends until she, as some small-minded folks would say, 'fell in with the wrong crowd'? Was Nina actually NOT allowed to have friends because she is autistic? Was she not even considered to be an actual person, or at least not considered an actual person who was worth a damn to society? How is it her fault? She didn't do anything, she did nothing wrong. And yet because of her having autism, Nina had essentially been shunned by the society that ran things in the Galar region.
But Nina had been told by Ayane that things are going to be changing soon. Nina got it that Team Scorn was going to be getting up to plans that, should they succeed, the way things were ran in public Galar society would change to see Nina be given the treatment and respect that she deserved. She wasn't going to be shunned by the Galar people, they were not going to place her in an out of the way place and keep her there so she was out of sight out of mind for them. Everyone in Galar was going to know who Nina is, and they were going to adore her.
A sweet, kind-hearted girl who had never done any wrong deserved to be adored by the people, after all. Nina was actually a bit excited by the prospect of getting to finally be seen as someone who actually mattered in public Galar society. She was excited by the idea that she was going to finally start mattering to people. Nina looked forward to finally being able to start making friends in open public in Galar, although she would still have her two closest friends, Marnie and Cinderace, there to back her up if the need for it arose.
Nina was wanting to make new friends, yes. But she refused to forget the ones she already had.
Over in Stow-on-side, Kenny was slated to battle against the Stow-on-side gym first, and he battled and defeated Bea, resulting in him earning the Fighting Badge. Trip was able to go immediately after Kenny, due to the fact that Trip was able to battle Allister. Similar with Kenny defeating Bea, Trip defeated Allister. The only difference here is the fact that, due to fighting and defeating Allister as opposed to Bea, Trip ended up getting the Ghost Badge instead. It was still a badge from the Stow-on-side gym, so it still count.
Dawn, after Trip got his badge, was informed that she was actually allowed to pick who between Bea and Allister she would be allowed to battle, as both would be rested and ready by the time her battle was ready to be held. Dawn had selected Bea as her opponent, and when they had their battle, Dawn handily won, earning the Fighting Badge from Bea same as Kenny earlier had done. Now that Dawn and the boys had each defeated the Stow-on-side gym, they were ready to continue onto the next stop in their Galar gym challenge tour.
They would actually get to move along quicker than they had anticipated; the fact that Stow-on-side had two gym leaders allowed for Dawn and the boys to all win badges in one day, rather than take at least two as a gym leader could only take two challenges in a day. Dawn remembered, thanks to knowledge from her previous life, that the gym in Circhester had two gym leaders as well, and wondered how things were going to be managed there. Dawn supposed that she and the others will be finding out when they get to Circhester.
But before they could go there, the reborn trainers first had to make a stop over in Ballonlea, on the other side of Glimwood Tangle from Stow-on-side. Over in Ballonlea, the reborn trainers will find Opal, the gym leader running the Ballonlea gym. Dawn and the boys each had to defeat Opal and earn the badge from her gym before they could proceed to Circhester and battle the gym leaders located over there. The reborn trainers didn't know what all other stuff awaited them as they made their way in Galar, but they looked forward to it.
The reborn trainers were actually having a little bit of fun going around Galar to challenge the gyms and earn badges from them. They especially liked how they have not had to deal with any members of Team Scorn yet.
END, CHAPTER TWO-HUNDRED AND FORTY-FIVE
Author's notes;
This chapter sees the reborn trainers arrive in Stow-on-side so that they could challenge the gym and, to reflect how things worked in the gen eight games, both Bea and Allister were battled here. Bea fought Kenny and then Dawn, and Allister fought Trip in between the Bea versus Kenny and Bea versus Dawn battles. Regardless, the reborn trainers all won, and as such they got their respective fourth Galar gym badges. They each are now at the halfway point to getting eight Galar gym badges, and there's wonderments awaiting them AFTER they finish earning enough Galar gym badges.
However, most of this chapter was taken up by the introduction of a character that is going to play an important role in the story. Nina Bloomingwood, who actually had been in her own adventure in a story I have long since completed, 'Bea and the autistic Gym Challenger'. Here, Nina along with Marnie (Piers's little sister) are in Stow-on-side because Nina is visiting a kindly lady who worked with her while she and her mom still lived in Stow-on-side, before the Bloomingwoods moved to Spikemuth. Nina ends up being much the same character as she was in her introductory story.
...With a few exceptions. One, Nina here, unlike in her introductory story, will NOT have Zacian (Zacian and Zamazenta will show up later to help Ash and Goh deal with Eternatus) as one of her Pokémon. Two, and it's another major difference, Nina here is technically an antagonistic character, by virtue of her being Admin Scorbunny, the head of Team Scorn's Headphones Sector which is based in the Galar region. Nina will be playing a notable role here in the story's Galar saga once the World Coronation Series becomes a thing the reborn trainers has to deal with, but that won't be for some time.
Anyway, the next chapter will see the reborn trainers arrive in Ballonlea and have their battles against Opal. Until then, take care.
