"You set for the Castle?"
I said after Konohamaru/Bambi cooked a Japanese breakfast for the two of us. I was sitting in the kitchen counter as he cooked the steamed rice and tamagoyaki, making me remember the first time I've seen him cooked it 20 years ago in Konoha. It put a smile on my face remembering what led it to get almost burnt in the first place.
Konohamaru saw me smiling. He asked, "Penny for your thoughts?"
"Oh it's nothing. I was thinking about the time you saw me naked while I met you in Konoha." I said laughing.
"That brought a smile on your face? Jeez, Onee-sama, I didn't know you'd be this creepy." He said.
"Gaki.. I wasn't exactly happy about a 8 year old kid seeing me naked. I was worried that I may have short circuited your brain because of that incident." I said.
"It kinda did. It was a bit shocking for me. But it was a wonderful experience." He said with a perverted smile on his face.
"Now you're the one being creepy. Anyway pack up the gear you need. We may face predators or enemies on the way. It will take long to reach the Castle." I said to him.
"Hai. Wait. What about the language?"
I used reverse psychometry to transfer information about our language and English in case we meet souls from the real world I came from.
"Let's go, baby."
We walked through the town of Spades, through the dark purple streets where the people were bustling with their daily activities. Shop keepers sell their goods and vegetables as we walked by. Urchins ran around and blacksmiths sharpened thier knives on the road side. The Spadian female soldiers were seen marching on the bridge above us and we saw an image of a Female Alpha soldier disciplining a disrespectful chauvinistic male and dragged him by the neck to kick him out of the kingdom. All was well in Spades.
But it was not well with Konohamaru.
He still felt the uneasiness of being surrounded by overbearing females around him and thought that he never belonged here. Considering how Spades was an Alpha female kingdom, it was a normal response from him.
"Milady Kalāra! It's good to see you after so many years! Care to come for a bite?" The lady from the noodle shop said. She used to be a 30 year old, Underworld nymph the last time I was here. Now she must be in her 50s.
"Hey Kiara! I have business in the Castle to take care of. Perhaps another time." I said politely. And we began continuing our walk to the castle.
People almost recognised us as we came by and offered to come to their shops. But I have to say no to them all.
"That's it." Konohamaru said impatiently and he picked me bridal-style and hopped roof-top to roof-top to reach to our destination. People watched in awe as Aka took me jumping from one place to another.
We reached the castle gates where dogs were kept to guard them. A soldier came by and asked "Identify yourselves."
"What the- Can't you recognise your previous quee-" Konohamaru began to say.
"It's ok Aka..He must be new." I said and I get down from his arms and said, "Excuse me. Hi.. I was summoned by the Queen to discuss some affairs regarding the Underworld. Could you please lead me to her throne room?"
"The Queen? And whom may I say you are?" He said raising his eyebrows.
"Tell her my name is Kalāra Pristine."
"Alright."
And he went into the palace.
After sometime, he came back running with a sweating brow and his gear tightened to his self.
"Milady, I'm so sorry! I didn't know who you were. I thought you were some imposter or something. Forgive me.." He said in a rush.
"It's alright Damian. You're new here. I can understand." I said politely.
"I truly am sor- Wait, how did you-" He asked.
"We should get going. Let's go Aka." I said.
We left.
"I guess it's true what they say about her being a psychic.." the soldier muttered.
