Hey Everyone. Betrayed Dreams here. Just wanted to let you know that I haven't abandoned this story. Although, for the time being the rest of the fics of the "Ikebukuro Series" are postponed. Yeah, I think I will finish "Ikebukuro Part I: A Bohemian Hikigaya's Rhapsody", before I start writing fics about other characters like "Spike Spiegel" and others. And "Ikebukuro Part I: A Bohemian Hikigaya's Rhapsody" has a long way to go. I am still stuck on the "Arc 1: The American Psycho" and there are two more arcs after this, "Arc 2: Breaking Into Alchemax" and "Arc 3: Sunshine City". I know I haven't really talked about 'The Sunshine City Arc' a lot, but basically at the end of "Breaking Into Alchemax Arc", Hikigaya steals a package from Alchemax as per Izaya's instructions. Now Izaya, still testing Hikigaya, tells a few of his 'clients' that Hikigaya has the package they are looking for. And these clients are - Celty Sturluson (Durarara!), Ryuuko Matoi (Kill La Kill), Minene Uryuu (Future Diary) and Kino (Kino's Journey). Now these people are chasing Hikigaya, thinking he has their stolen property and Hikigaya heads into the Sunshine City Mall in Ikebukuro to escape from them. It's gonna be a real cat and mouse chase.

Now here's something I want to know from you guys.

Do you want me to write all the three arcs, or do you want me to just finish "Arc 1: The American Psycho" and move onto the next book, "Ikebukuro Part II: A Bohemian's Hikigaya Rhapsody." I can always do Arc 2 and Arc 3 later in a separate book.

I have just started a new fic on my "Betrayed Dreams - Redux" account. It's called, "Shuchiin Academy: The Countdown Begins". Basically, it's my humble attempt to write the ultimate high school fic. It will feature a ton of characters from all different kinds of high school anime. But there will be no supernatural or fantasy elements. Also, in the future I plan on having characters from middle school and university show up in this fic too. It's because in the fic, Shuchiin Academy has the resources to educate students from middle school all the way to university. Although, the main focus will be on high school characters.

In this fic, Hikigaya is a first year high school student. He was hospitalized for three weeks because of an accident. And the story begins with Hiratsuka-sensei asking Komi Shouko to deliver the class printouts to his home. At this moment, I have just written two chapters - The Prologue and the second chapter which features Komi-san and Hiratsuka-sensei. Hikigaya hasn't made an appearance yet. But he will. Soon.

With that said, I think I have made a mistake with that fic already. I know, I keep making these mistakes. But I try my best to fix them.

I know I write fics for Oregairu, but my fics features characters from other animes and it's because I like writing crossovers. To me it's the ultimate form of expression when it comes to writing fanfics. But I understand that a lot of you are not interested in reading crossovers, especially when I don't put it in the crossover section. Why don't I put it in the crossover section? Well, there's two reasons - Number 1, I have seen that fics posted in the crossover section gets less views and Number 2, the crossover fics I write features more then two fandoms, and this site only allows two fandoms. Usually I write about more than two fandoms in my crossovers, so yeah, that's the issue.

But I understand that people don't want to read a fic about Hikigaya and a bunch of characters from other anime. I might enjoy it, but others might not. And I totally get it.

But what if I feature a bunch of Oregairu characters and just a few anime characters from other anime? Will you guys be interested in reading this fic?

Okay. So here's the idea.

The service club has a ton of members - Yukino, Yui, Miura, Saki, Ebina, Hikigaya, you get it. In fact, I think I might include the whole roster. And the president and the vice president of the service club decides on who should handle which requests. And yeah, you guessed it, these requests are brought forward by 'guest stars', as in, characters from other anime series.

I have even thought about the first arc - Ritsu Kawai comes in with a request to find more boarders for her boarding complex.

So yeah, what do you guys think. Will you be interested in this story?

Like I said before, I have made my fair share of mistakes. It would be a lie, if I didn't confess that I have made many mistakes while writing "Ikebukuro Part I: A Bohemian's Hikigaya's Rhapsody". I mean, the number of times I have deleted chapters, I have lost count. But I think I have learnt from my many mistakes. And I think I know what I am doing wrong.

Don't worry, I'm not gonna abandon writing "Ikebukuro Part I: A Bohemian Hikigaya's Rhapsody".

But I know a lot of people don't like that fic, because so far it has just featured Hikigaya from the Oregairu series and all the other characters are from other fandoms. I mean sure, Yukinoshita is there at the beginning, but she has a minor role. The other characters overshadow her. I mean, please be honest, between L, Major Motoko Kusanagi, Kanra Orihara and Yukinoshita, who is more interesting? Hell, Kaneki was there in the cafe too and even he stole some of the limelight.

I can see how some people might not like that. I get it.

So here's what I have been wondering.

What if I write a new series? Let's call it the "Neo Tokyo Series". I will write it in my other account - "Betrayed Dreams-Redux."

Again, it's the same deal. The fic will feature a lot of characters from the Oregairu team and it will guest star characters from other fandoms. How is it different from the "Ikebukuro Series"?

Well, in Neo Tokyo, Hikigaya is a 'mentalist'. Yeah, I am basing his character on Patrick Jane from 'The Mentalist'. And Hoshino Ai was his wife, but he kept their marriage and the news about their kids a secret. But Hoshino and the kids were killed by a serial killer. And now Hikigaya wants revenge. Basically, in this fic, the entire Oregairu cast is gonna be a part of a team of special investigators who are hired to solve all kinds of mysteries. There will be supernatural and fantasy elements in this fic.

I know, it's a big commitment, but I think I might write a one-shot first, based on the Episode 'Devil's Cherry' and if people like the idea I might make a series out of it.
