Warframe You Can NOT Absolve
ESKK: Well, here we go the chapter you've all been waiting patiently for. Let's begin.
(Start Corpus Research Facility Venus)
In a Corpus facility there seemed to be an influx of action done. In said facility many crewmen and techs were hard at work preparing their latest bit of equipment. In a large lab though an EVA Unit was seen with its lower body comprised of four mechanicle legs, its right arm a spear, and its left arm a pronged claw. Clearly this was scrapped together for reverse engineering purposes so the Corpus can study the EVA's the Tenno were using. As the Corpus continued to prepare the EVA for its first field test an explosion from the roof got everyone's attention. From up above a Warframe Mirage Prime flew down and landed perfectly on the EVA with a bow.
"Hello Corpus pigs!" The voice of a young woman called out as she stood tall to greet the members of the Corpus security teams and researchers. "A little flower told me that you were all doing something you shouldn't so that flower asked me to interfere." She said and then began to giggle to herself. "Oh, this is going to be so much FUN!" She said before coming down to start fighting. She fired off a Prism that shot beams of energy all over the place taking out several of the Corpus soldiers with ease. But just as she landed the Tenno made duplicates of itself before drawing a pair of twin handguns, AkBolto Prime.
The Tenno bowed as if she was a performer before she opened fire on her enemies with her clones doing the same. Their combined attacks continued to slaughter the enemy before. But then to really psych out her foes she began to sing a tune of some kind.
-Time to face the day, time to make it snappy but you know first you gotta make it out of bed-

As the Tenno sang her tune she punctuated the attacks with strikes from her melee weapon, Kogake Prime, and her guns. She then stopped her tune as she saw more Corpus foes showing up. The Tenno continued to slaughter her foes left and right taking each of them out as they came. She broke their shields and slaughtered their robots as she moved them like a harlequin of the battlefield.
She even managed to cave a crewman's face in with a single punch of her fist. Once that was done, she acted fast and avoided shots from other Corpus units and saw them preparing weapons to restrict her. "NO, YOU DON'T!" The Tenno called out and went for the weapons taking them out before they can be set up.
Once the immediate lab was cleared out the Tenno took cover for her next act. "Hey Lotus, intelligence was not shooting shit at us, Nef was trying to build an EVA." The Tenno said into her communicator.
"What is, the EVA units' current statues?" Lotus asked as she observed the mission through her, Tenno.
"Well from the looks of it, Nef Anyo was cutting corners left and right and worst part the damn this still isn't done." Mari said wondering if this will be a destroy the EVA sort of mission or capture a piece of junk sort of mission.
"In its current state it's no use to us, destroy it and the data for it." Lotus said and thus the Tenno smirked to this knowing exactly how to do it.
"On it." She said before hanging up the call. The Tenno then began to look around making sure all the doors were sealed shut. After all she had a damn good idea on how to destroy it and the data it had.
(Scene Break Later)
The Corpus security were burning their way through the sealed doors to get to the Tenno inside. As they were slicing the door open, they eventually made it through to find only the corpses of their fellows inside and an opened air vent. Looking around for the Tenno one of them made their way to the console.
The Crewmen seen entering the room were confused as why the Tenno came in yet didn't take anything. The answer came in the form of a timer connected to the EVA that was on the console being investigated. Needless to say, the one who saw it warned his fellows too late before the entire room went up in a flash of fire and light.
(Outside)
A Landing Craft was flying away when the explosion hit with the Tenno inside said Landing Crafts. Exiting the Warframe, a young woman with brown hair, blue eyes, glasses, and twin tails saw the scene with her magenta-colored Transference suit.
"Sorry about this EVA can't let Nef get his hands on you." The young woman said with a smirk on her face as she observed the explosion.
"Proverb child, Mari." Came an AI voice of her Cephalon. "The mission was accomplished; the EVA and the facility have both been destroyed ensuring that Nef Anyo does not acquire the data of the EVAs." The Cephalon said and thus the young woman, now known as Mari, nodded to this.
"So does big mama Lotus have a new job for us, Kori, maybe something exciting like Narmer?" Mari asked as she leaned against her Codex table.
"No, you are to await further orders or monitor for missions until the Lotus has need of you." The Cephalon named Kori said as Mari sighed to this.
"Oh well beggars can't be choosers." Mari said and thus she let the Landing Craft fly back to the Orbiter.
(Scene Break Mysterious figure)
The man observed the scene from his own hidden fortress after the Tenno had dug out the Geofront. They now had access to its equipment and the EVA Storage facilities inside. By the looks of it though they had yet to discover the Lance of Longinus. The man won't lie he had gone through a lot of trouble to find it after Unit 1 had all but abandoned it. But without an EVA he had no means of acquiring it. But thanks to his Dax he will soon have the Lance in his possession.
Still, he could not retrieve it yet the method he used worked a little too well, the shaft still needs to be dug out and that could take ages to do. He may have all the time int he world, but his Scenario did not. He was not about to wait any longer, so his only hope was to appear before them as an... ally of sorts. Waiting was the only thing he can do at this junction but when the time was right this snake shall appear.
Varzia meanwhile glared at the man promising him endless pain for what she had to endure from him. As it stands, she was a slave all over again to a man as bad if not worse than the Dax. Maroo was her best shot at getting out of this as she suspected Maroo had noted Varzia's odd behavior as of late. Varzia had little time and few options but if she made the wrong move then she and others were royally screwed. Damn the Orokin they always find new ways to ruin the system and those in live in it even from beyond the grave.
(Scene Break NERV Geofront Earth)
Reconstruction of NERV had been making tremendous progress. They even have living quarters rebuilt and thus Misato moved into a place very much like her old apartment in Tokyo-3. This is where we find Misato and surprisingly enough Shura. Shura had the day off to rest and recover something mandatory for all Tenno. It was Shura's turn so Misato invited him over for a bit of a housewarming for her new apartment. Umbra was there to make sure Shura doesn't try to sneak off to take part in a mission anyway.
Misato was drinking out of a bottle of sort before she let off with a big "PAAA! Now that's more like it! I waited a while for this, but it was way worth it!"
Misato missed her beer so much, as her beers brand maybe gone but that didn't mean she didn't stop to look for a substitute, as she knows that the locals on earth make their own alcohol in the form of wine and other stuff, but nothing in the beer like way she lives, and thought the time of beer was forever gone… until she made a discovery.
It seem she remember the basic stuff that people could make beer, and she found out there are barley and other wild plant that is used to make beer all across the Plains of Eidolon as she had ask Shura to gather up some of these plants before she head over to the wine making people and request of them to make a special kind of drink for her, which they oblige sense she was friends with the Tenno that helped them.
After many weeks and some prototype of beers later, Misato found the right one and Pretty much requested more of it, but with it the people of Cetus heard of this new drink and try it themselves… and well they got hooked on it and pretty much created a new brand of drinks to sell, with new crops to grow that also created more jobs and more businesses with Cetus looking more brighter than before, as it seem they were still recovering from the "New War", but now with Misato had help the people of Cetus recover itself a bit without realizing it.
While the Tenno were glad to hear this, they let Misato be a bit more freely than before, but not so much as they had to put a limit on how much beer Misato could drink off work, she didn't like it, but she put up with it, as she was going cold turkey for a long while, in her mind she thought she deserve this.
Shura was drinking juice as the Tenno maybe older than they look and no doubt some of them may had a drink or two in the past but that didn't mean they were hook on drinking Alcohol, they either drink for special occasion or not at all, as he put down his cup and said, "Misato I know you enjoy your… beer, but could you tone down your voice?"
"Hey there nothing wrong being loud, and beside do you know how long I had gone without it? Sense I got here. And do you know how lone I waited for it to be made? A long while, so let me enjoy this," Misato said as she start to drink the beer again and let out another loud sound as Shura groan a bit to this as he wonder how did this Shinji deal with her in the past like this?
Suddenly from the back area as a door opens, rei was suddenly walking out from the bathroom as she was taking a shower it seem as she was naked and wet as the only towel, she had she used to dry her hair and put it around her shoulder as she said, "Major Katsuragi, I had finished my shower as you said to do."
With both Misato and Shura look and saw Rei butt naked and wet, as Misato was wide eye to this with shura was… surprisingly calm about this as Misato soon said, "Rei, why are you naked?! Where are your clothes?!"
"They are in my room waiting," Rei said as Misato said, "You should have brought them into the bathroom with you and got dress in there. Just go put on your clothes now!"
"Understood, I'll take that into accountable next time," Rei said as she was calm about this as well before she then went off to her room to get dress. Misato face palm herself as she said, "I swear that girl need to know some common sense… and why are you so calm?!"
She pointed at Shura as she notice he wasn't freaking out about seeing a girl naked as Shura soon said, "Nothing new to see really, as me and the others had seen one another naked before, mostly during the Orokin's running test on us when we first started using Warframes and had us wash ourselves in open showers, and comparing Rei to Reiko, they both similar in almost all ways with the only different is Reiko's scars, so I don't see the point of freaking out about it."
Shura acted like tis nothing new for him, but they wear Transference suit to stay decent, as the Orokin may treated them like animals, doesn't mean they would act or look as one, with Misato got the idea as she forgot that Orokin did put the Tenno through ha lot, she didn't think the Orokin would do that, but then again with the stories she heard about them, they would do something like that as she said, "Oh, that make sense I guess, and speaking of Reiko, you two must have something special going on then. I mean I never really see you without her at times, and she is very cute girl and you're a handsome young man, so I'm thinking are you two a thing?"
"Me and Reiko? No, we aren't," Shura said with an almost disgusted look on his face as he soon explain, "Me and Reiko mostly have a friendly bond, and we work well on mission together, and yes she looks wonderful, but we don't see each other like that, and beside I'm already a "thing", as you put it, with someone else."
"Oh, so you have a girlfriend already. She must be someone special then," Misato said as she lean in close to Shura as he try to move away from her, smelling the beer on her breath which reeks for him as she said, "Tell me who's this girl your dating? Is it someone I know? Is she cute? Does she do something special for you when you're alone?"
"Miss Katsuragi, would you kindly move away, your breath stinks," Shura said as he try holding his nose to this as Misato didn't let him off just yet as she said, "Come on, tell me some details. Does she have a sexy body that drives you crazy?"
"I rather fight the shadow stalker than talk to you about my personal relationship," Shura said as he move away from Misato as she went 'Boo' as Shura for not sharing detail about the girl he is with, which is surprising as all the time she hung out with Shinji, he never had a girlfriend himself, but keep forgetting this isn't Shinji… she is realizing she missed the boy, with Asuka, and her pet Penpen.
While with Shura was relief he got away from Misato, as he could emit that Reiko does have a certain beauty about her, as anyone that dates her would be lucky, as for him he was happy with what he had, and if he even dare started to think about another girl, or even show a slightest clue of cheating on his Special partner, she'll make him pay for it, as Tenno may not die so easily, but there are ways that could make a Tenno wish they could, and she was capable of that for sure.
(NERV base)
Misato and Shura were at the NERV base with Reiko as Ritsuko and the bases new Cephalon gave them an update. "At this point in time a good 75.68% of the base had been reconstructed with new systems and updates protocols in accordance with this more modern setting." Ritsuko said going over the data.
"That's right this base won't be getting a second helping of human sized invasion or Angel Mold fucking me up anytime soon!" Magi announced with a cocky tone showing she was not one to be invaded twice.
"That's all good to hear but what about Terminal Dogma?" Misato asked and in turn Ritsuko sighed to this.
"Still working on that one with no clear mind of the current state of it or if Lilith is still down there, we've been approaching it with a fine brush." Ritsuko said as it was a miracle in of itself that they even got this much work done at all.
"Well, we can't risk any major incidents from repeating, speaking of the next Angel is that huge ass water thing so that narrows down its location of appearance to Earth and Uranus." Misato said as those were the only places with an active ocean.
"Exactly we've got sensors surging the oceans for the Angel in case it shows itself. But we have more." Ritsuko said as she then showed enemy intelligence. "Rumor has it that Alad V is making his own EVA from the look of things most of the big shots in the Origin System is trying their hand at making an EVA." Ritsuko reported much to Shura and Reiko's shock.
"So not only do we need to wait for big old Nemo we got our enemies trying to copy us." Misato said crossing her arms glaring a bit over the rumor.
"The Tenno have already stopped Nef Anyo from trying so we're safe there but we're keeping our ears peeled for anything." Magi reported as the Cephalon then giggled a bit. "Also, since our sensory range has been updated, we can now get information from Venus and Mars and thanks to this I can hear background radiation and Ordis was right it's a riot." Magi said showing she's been hanging around Ordis a lot. Ritsuko sighed as it sounded like the older sister annoyed with her younger sister and her bubbly attitude. Misato saw this and giggled herself finding some humor in this scene and actually liking the new and improved Magi.
"Oh, and speaking of Mars, our surveillance teams had picked up on this." Magi said as she pulled up the data and thus, they saw on Mars surface was a message made of rocks. It only had three letters to make one word, SOS. "Seems that someone is using primitive means to call for help." She added as someone looked at the screen a bit intrigued if not concern over what it could mean.
"It could be a trap." Reiko said finding this to be extremely suspicious. "Especially when you consider Mars' current dilemma with Narmer." Reiko added looking to those gathered with her at Central Dogma.
"Even Narmer wouldn't use something so primitive for a trap." Shura said as he had a suspicion as to what or who it may be. "It might be someone from the other era waking up." Shura said rubbing his chin while crossing his arms thinking over how to proceed.
"Shura is right we can't just ignore it." Misato said knowing full well that someone she knows might be in severe danger. "If someone is calling for help, I'm sure the Tenno prerogative states your required to rescue them." Misato said and thus looked back over to Cephalon Magi. "Where was this message found?" Misato asked needing details before they proceed any further.
"From what I was able to calculate, the message was found closest to the Temple of the Sky people the one where the blueprints for Inaros was found." Magi said using mission data from previous Tenno operations. "Reports suggest the area had been cleared out of the Infestation and sanitized but it's still a bit close to Grineer territory so chances are moderate to high that whoever made the message is in Grineer Custody." Magi said but had more to add. "Furthermore, reports show that Narmer was seen moving through the area thus there is a moderate chance for a confrontation with Narmer forces as well as the Archon Amar." Magi reported showing that they needed to be careful.
"Sounds like that the danger is significant, nothing we haven't faced before." Shura said with Reiko nodding to this understanding that for the Tenno this is just another Tuesday.
"Aren't you supposed to have the day off?" Misato asked with a smirk on her, face.
"Yes, but, seeing as I have the most experience with Narmer I will be needed." Shura said and in turn the group agreed on what to do next.
"Experience and skill a good combination." Ritsuko said and thus she got to the computer. "I'll let the Lotus know of the situation and have her send backup for you two." Ritsuko said as Shura and Reiko left the base.
"Thanks!" Shura responded waving her off as they left to perform a possible rescue mission.
(Scene Break Tenno Orbiter Mars)
In an Orbiter a young woman was seen sleeping on a cot set up in her private quarters. This was a Tenno who was noted to having an eye guard on her face and Void scarring that was around the same area her patch was. She slept on her side a bit as was having a power nap before her next mission. Over at the Arsenal slot a Valkyr Prime was on standby awaiting for the young woman to perform Transference to bring it to life. A Kavat was seen curled up next to the girl snoring away as well clearly calm.
Just then a new voice spoke up getting her attention. "Operator, receiving a message from the Lotus." The voice of the ship Cephalon announced and thus the girl kept sleeping or so it would seem. "Operator pretending to sleep isn't going to make the call vanish." The Cephalon urged and thus the girl sighed in frustration.
"Can't blame a girl for trying." She said while getting up while her Kavat stretched out yawning before joining its mistress. "Put her through." The girl said and in turn the message came through.
"Tenno, Asuna I have a mission for you we've received reports of a stranded, on Mars but due to possible Narmer involvement you are to work with Shura and Reiko to locate and escort the stranded to safety." Lotus spoke as Asuna smiled to this.
"So same old, same old." Asuna said stretching a bit. "Can't say I'm surprised, ok I'll head on out then." She said ending the call before making a prideful smile. "Narmer bastards when they gonna learn to give up?" She taunted going to her Warframe before performing Transference. Valkyr Prime came to life as Asuna began to stretch some more. "Well then let's go!" Asuna called out and thus the blue-eyed Tenno made her way to the Landing Craft.
(Scene Break Mars)
A pair of Landing Crafts flew in and deposited both Shura and Reiko from them. They were currently using their main gear with Shura switching his side arms for a Lex Prime. The two first ensured that their landing site was clear and when they saw a total lack of enemies they were in the clear.
"Clear." Reiko confirmed before looking over to Shura. "What is the plan?" Reiko asked as she looked to Shura.
"Find the stranded, escort them out, and return them to where they belong." Shura said and thus Reiko, nodded.
"Of course." Reiko said and thus they were off to locate the lost stranded who called for help.
(Meanwhile with Asuka)
Asuka Langley Soryu, Second Children, Pilot of Evangelion Unit 02, and a child prodigy did not expect any of this to happen. Here she was stuck in a desert lost, naked, and as much as she hated to admit it, afraid. Nothing had gone the way it should have at the end the base was attacked, she was mutilated by the Mass Production Models, and then darkness. She woke up on a beach later to Shinji strangling her before she touched his face. She felt sick. It saved her life in the end, but Asuka was not so sure that was a good thing anymore.
She was thankfully able to find this old tarp to use as makeshift clothing and found this old temple to use as Shelter. So, for what Asuka assumed was the past week Asuka had to do what she could to survive which meant food, water, and shelter. But as she was never had the German girl ever felt so vulnerable well save for one other time... but she didn't want to think about it. The situation she was in on the other hand was more immediate as she tried to find a way out.
For the past couple of days, she had been setting up her SOS message using rocks she gathered hoping someone would see it. But by the looks of it someone did see it, but they were not the friendly or helpful sort. Asuka had been forced to run from these ugly cybernetic creatures who seemed to have guns trained on her. She was unable to fight back as she was caught, forced to her knees, and now held at gun point. She scolded herself for being careless, but the truth was she had been so desperate for rescue she didn't consider the possibility of hostiles.
Asuka had no idea where she was but by the background noise, she could guess she was not on Earth. But they kept repeating Mars making Asuka wonder if they were actually on Mars and these bulky armored bastards were in fact Martians. Well not like it will matter much seeing as she was about to die again. Asuka refused to cry this time ever since the incident and the final battle she had been given a taste of humble stew for lack of better words. The pilot was still as prideful as ever, but she was learning if she was being honest. Still, she would not be learning much now if these things had their way Asuka didn't even have time to freak out over being on Mars.
She then closed her eyes as they got ready to snuff her out. It was clear she had nothing for them, after all a naked girl was hardly of any use to anyone. But before the bullet could do her in something shot out and hit the gun using foe in the head. The shooters friends all went wide eyed to this before a figure appeared behind one and killed him. When he died the others heard him scream, they were soon blinded by a howl causing the foes to run around wildly.
"TENNO SKOOM!" They roared out trying to find him only to be killed off by this Tenno.
Shura with Excalibur Umbra was slicing through the Grineer troops left and right. He came upon the naked girl about to be gunned down by the Grineer and thus acted fast. He weaved and zoomed through the foes taking them out one after the other. It was not long before the entire area was clear as Shura began to sheath his sword ever slowly. Once the weapon was fully sheathed it seemed that the chaos came to an end... almost.
Suddenly Shura drew his Viper Wraith and fired on the last living Grineer who tried to sneak up on Asuka. Asuka was surprised by that as the Grineer fell down dead. "Are you well?" Reiko asked hovering over to Asuka with her Wisp Prime.
"Y-yes." Asuka said noting that this thing sounded a lot like Rei.
"Good." Reiko responded with a nod before Shura stood up.
"Shura to base please respond, Misato do you hear me?" Shura asked causing Asuka to go wide eyed to this.
"Hey, Shura. Yeah, we hear you loud and clear." Misato responded as Shura walked away a bit. From the tone of her voice Misato sounded surprised yet happy over what she no doubt overheard.
"I take it from your tone you know this girl?" Shura asked as he took a small glance at Asuka and noting she bore a striking resemblance to Asuna.
"Yeah, that's Asuka Langley Soryu the 2nd Children and Pilot of Evangelion Unit 02." Misato responded and thus Shura raised a brow to her on that one.
"You mean the bratty girl who acts like she's an adult when she's not?" Shura asked aloud causing Asuka to gain a scowl and by extension she reacted.
"Who are you calling bratty you, emo looking cringe fest!" Asuka snapped her pride getting the best of her.
"Yeap that's her." Misato said recognizing Asuka's voice instantly.
"Alright then, we'll head to extraction and finish this mission," Shura said as he ignore what Asuka said to him before, as ASuka soon said, "Hold on who are you two creeps anyways, and how the hell do you know me?"
"In the reverse of the order, we know you through a mutual friend that you may remember her as Misato Katsuragi."
"Misato, she here!?" Asuka said surprised as Reiko said to her, "She is at the old NERV base, on earth which we are task to take you there."
"As for who we are, I am Shura, and this Reiko," Shura said as he was introducing both of them to ASuka as shura went on saying, "We are Tenno, and I guess you can say we are the new pilots of this era."
"Wait you two are EVA pilots?" Asuka said as Reiko said, "Yes we are. We will explain thing afterword, but for now just follow us, we'll lead you to safety, as if we stay here talking any longer, more enemies will come. Also, here."
Reiko pull out her side arm and hand it over to Asuka as she took it which surprise her as Reiko said, "That is just to defend yourself with not to fight, and after this I will require it back."
"Whatever," Asuka said clearly not happy still, mostly about there are more Eva pilots now, and how she seen these guys fight, it was clear they are very skilled, which she hated, but at least she was being rescued, with the group moves out as they try to head towards the area where transport ships are at, unaware of a certain danger near, as above standing at the edge of the rock cliff of the area, as a certain wolf head Archon saw the group before move out to try and ambush the Tenno and the girl with them.
With shura and Reiko follow the waypoint on their mini map, while keeping an eye out for any enemy that may appear, but suddenly they both saw a blip, and a strong one at that, as they both stop with Asuka follow suit while she said, "What wrong with you two?"
"Reiko, you take Asuka to the extraction point, while I deal with the threat," Shura said as she Reiko nodded and went around Shura as she said, "We'll take the long way."
"Wait, hold on, what enemy?" Asuka said as she wasn't moving yet, then suddenly something had jump down before the group, kicking up a lot of dust, as Shura got his weapon ready to face the enemy, as the dust clear out revealing Amar as it suddenly howl out that blew away the rest of the dust around it with Asuka freak out by the strange creature, as Shura said, "Great. Just get the hell out of here!"
After that Amor leap out at them with Shura meet it head on as he leap up at it and slash it away, which it block it and took minimal damage as Reiko grab Asuka and drag her pass Amar as Shura switch to his side arm and fire upon the Archon, keeping it at bay for the moment. But then suddenly vanish out of site and reappeared with many copies of itself as Shura said, "I hate this thing."
Shura soon switch out to his main weapon and shot at each clone one by one until he could find the real one, with each clone of Amor vanishing after being shit with the real Amor soon revealed itself after it got hit itself.
Amar roared in fury clearly not liking that as he drew his two flame axes and went after Shura. Shura was forced on the defensive as he knew taking on an Archon alone was reckless. But he didn't have a choice in the matter because if Amar was here Narmer was not far behind. Still the surprise attack did not do Shura any favors as he fought off the Archon before him.
Just then Amar charged with a jump and slammed down before Shura could dodge the attack. The Tenno was sent flying as he lost his sword from that one. Shura managed to retrieve it only to be forced to block Amar's neck as he tried to rip out his throat. Shura held the Archon back using the sheath of his blade as a bar against the Archon's neck where the Sentient part was attached to the Warframe of Rhino Prime. "Dammit." Shura cursed struggling to keep the Archon off him.
But before the Archon could move any closer a Tether shot out and wrapped around the Archon's torso before pulling it off of Shura. The Archon spun in the air and grinded against the ground on all fours before glaring at the new arrival.
"No one bites my man's neck but me!" Asuna called out after she had attacked the Archon. When she had said that she had cracked her Galvacord on the ground before jumping down to join with Shura. Amar roared but was rained down with spikes curtesy of Asuna's Boltor Prime forcing the Archon to move to cover as she landed and helped Shura to his feet. "This always happens when you try to solo an Archon." Asuna said helping her lover back to his feet. "Why don't you listen? What are you stupid?" She asked as Shura smirked to her.
"Hey, you're the one who always says I'm your idiot." Shura snipped causing Asuna to smirk.
"Damn right." Asuna said only for them to hear Amar roar. "Seems the doggy needs to bow out." Asuna said as Shura nodded in agreement with Asuna.
"Agreed." Shura said as he then got ready. "Let's make this quick so we can move to extraction." Shura said and thus it was time to roll out.
Shura drew his Exalted Blade as he held the Void power weapon at the ready. Meanwhile Asuna activated Hysterix and flexed out her Void born claws for battle with spikes sticking out of her arms before she let out a roar of her own. Both of them re-entered the fight with Amar moving with power and fury as they attacked the Archon intended on taking him down for good. Amar was unable to put up a proper fight as the Archon was being beaten down by the Tenno couple.
Amar then summoned copies of himself to hide amongst his pack. But with a savage war cry Asuna went through the clones and found the real one among them. Shura seeing this sent out energy slashes of Void Energy from his Exalted Blade at Amar. Shura then zoomed passed and stabbed Amar in the back and forced the Archon to his knees.
Asuna then flipped over the Archon and once she was in front of it grabbed his crystal with both hands. Then with a kick she forced the Crystal out of Amar leaving him lifeless on the ground now that he no longer had his crystal to fuel his healing power. Once they were clear they deactivated their Void weapons and then hugged each other Shura wrapping his arms around Asuna's waist and Asuna with her arms around his neck and her left leg up. The pair rested their foreheads on each other just happy to be together.
"Your still my favorite idiot." Asuna said happy to be reunited with Shura.
"And you're still as savagely amazing as always." Shura said just happy to be basking in her presence.
"So, you mind telling me where you've been since this Angel and EVA stuff started?" Shura asked curious as to what Asuna had been doing.
But before Asuna could answer the couple soon heard movement from afar meaning that they had company on the way and not the friendly sort judging by the explosions. "I'll tell you later right now we gotta move." Asuna said and thus she and Shura began to head out to get the heck out of the area before Narmer or more Grineer show up.
Thankfully, their escape was more or less simple thanks to Reiko clearing their path of enemies while escorting Asuka out of the area. So, after boarding the Landing Craft they were able to escape and start their trip to base to get Asuka updated and debriefed of any information she may know.
(Scene Break Lua)
The three Tenno had escorted Asuka to the Lotus Chamber where they found Misato waiting for them. Misato gave Asuka a hug as the girl was surprised that Misato was here. From the looks of it, Asuka was given a Tunic to wear as it covered her modesty well enough, though the lack of underwear was a problem only if someone tried to flip her skirt up. Rei was also there surprisingly enough no doubt wanting to see one of her fellow Pilots hoping she knew where Shinji was.
"Welcome Asuka I'm happy to see that you are well." Lotus said as she'd rather get this done now rather than later.
"Yeah, well these new pilots saved my ass and all that." Asuka said with a scowl on her face. "Now I have some questions and you got some questions, and my question is... WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON!?" Asuka demanded as Reiko heard this.
"Jeez she acts a lot like Asuna." Reiko mumbled finding Asuka could lower her tone a bit.
"Ok Asuka I'll be quick to the point we're basically billions of years in the future, the Angels are back, and we're trying to fight them and beat them to wherever Adam and Lilith are hiding." Misato said being quick and to the point on that story.
"WHAT?!" Asuka asked shocked that the nightmare was not over yet.
"Good news though, we don't have to worry about SEELE or Commander Ikari." Misato said but then got a cold look from Asuka.
"Yeah... great." Asuka said no doubt there was more to it.
"Asuka." Lotus began as she got the young girls attention. "I understand if this is too painful but what do you remember from Third Impact?" Lotus asked and thus Asuka took a moment to let out a tired sigh.
"I remember waking up on the beach of an empty world next to Shinji." Asuka began as this got everyone's attention. "It was just us and... after that we survived for a few days and then... nothing." Asuka said as she could not remember much of anything beyond those key points... well save for one but she'd rather not talk about it.
"So, Pilot Ikari-kun is still unaccounted for." Rei said with a sad tone in her voice. Asuka honestly didn't have the energy to make a snide comment right now.
Thankfully or unfortunately, Asuna was there to pick up the slack. "So, we going to talk about her piss poor job at stealing my look or..." Asuna said getting Asuka's attention.
"WHAT?!" Asuka asked and thus Asuna smirked and stepped out of her Warframe via Transference surprising Asuka.
"Hey there, the name's Asuna nice to meet you." Asuna said and thus Asuka glared at her one-eyed look-a-like.
"Piss poor job you're the one whose stealing my look Ms. Cyclops." Asuka snapped as she glared at Asuna.
"Your just jealous I can pull it off." Asuna responded as the two glared at each other.
"Jealous my ass Ms. Haughty Mc-Snide." Asuka countered as Asuna had one of her own.
"At least I'm not momma girl the hedgehog." Asuna countered as Asuka wanted to punch this Tenno.
"Oh my god there's two of them." Misato said breaking up the confrontation from afar.
"It's like we found Asuna's long lost twin sister." Reiko joked as she smiled to Shura.
"WHAAAT?! WE ARE NOTHING ALIKE!" Asuka and Asuna both snapped as this only proved they were alike.
"Ok that's enough." Shura said stepping out of his Warframe and between the girls leaving a shocked Asuka. Reiko did the same and Asuka was met with a second Rei Ayanami.
"Uh Misato are you sure we're in the future and not a parallel universe?" Asuka asked with concern to Misato.
"Yes, I'm sure." Misato said as she wasn't as shocked as Asuka was for the resemblance anymore. This showed that Misato was already used to it by now and was possibly expecting it to happen.
Asuna then looked over to Asuka and gave the German girl a glare when she noted that she was staring at Shura. "Hey eyes to yourself he's mine!" Asuna snapped and thus Shura sighed while he pushed Asuna away from the scene.
"This is going to take some adjusting." Lotus said with a sigh there.
"Anyway, since just show me where you guys are keeping EVA Unit-02 and we'll be as right as rain." Asuka said striking her infamous pose only for Misato to nervously cough into her hand.
"Asuka... I don't know how to tell you this but... your EVA is still MIA." Misato said and thus the entire room grew silent for a moment. You could even hear a pin drop with how quiet it got with those words.
But as all things do, the dam eventually broke, and Asuka had to respond. "WHAAAAT?!" She cried out for as of this moment she was an Evangelion Pilot without an Evangelion to pilot. All the while Asuna laughed at Asuka's misery having one over the prideful girl.
