Well, here's the epilogue. FINALY CHAPTER HERE.

Epilogue

Edward

We'd been married for almost a year now. To my great excitement, Bella was down to only one visit every few months with James when he would think to ask for her, which was becoming less and less. He seemed to be happy and doing very well.

He was content at Oasis and had become very much independent, working in the stables and helping with the horses as well as with his new puppy, Lightening. I detected a trend in names there.

James didn't even get upset when we moved to Seattle.

Bella wanted to be closer to her dad and still be able to run her store in Port Angeles. She ended up starting a chain of highly popular bookstores under the Cygnus name and she and my mother stayed fairly busy on the phone organizing Ugly Duckling events and library renovations all over the country.

There was even talk of making a TV show about their quest to give deserving libraries and communities help. I just hoped Ty Pennington wasn't involved since she thought he was hot. Something about his crazy hair, I didn't get it.

I watched as my sister waddled into the kitchen for a bottle of water. Alice was only five months along, but the twin boys she was carrying had her tiny frame slightly off balance. She and Jasper had also moved to Seattle, as well as Emmett and Rosalie, and they were visiting with my parents and Ben and Angela as the girls worked on her and Jasper's wedding plans.

Jasper tried to talk her into doing a wedding like ours, but my baby sister wouldn't be denied her big day complete with all the pomp and circumstance. She also didn't want to have to wait until the last minute to get her gown fitted to go over her huge baby belly, opting to have the wedding after the boys were born.

I knew my mother was thrilled to do a huge wedding, as she was in her element planning and organizing the wedding of her daughter's dreams.

I'd once believed there was no way my parents would go through their fortune in their lifetimes, but at the rate Alice was escalating her wedding plans, there was going to be a substantial dent in it to be sure.

Emmett came in with little Emmett Jr. looking for something to give him to appease his ever present appetite until dinner. The kid was a bottomless pit, just like his father.

"Alice just showed Bella a picture of her matron of honor dress and she's crying again. What's with women and wedding stuff that makes them bawl so much?" Emmett griped.

"I don't know, mate, but she's been doing a lot of that lately. I thought she was going to completely lose her shit at Angela and Ben's engagement party last night. I think the shrimp cocktail she had might have been off, too, which made it worse because she spent rest of the night and this morning in the loo hugging the johnny."

"Well, I hope she's feeling better by tomorrow night so she can babysit for us. Our nanny's off to her sister's wedding for the weekend and Bella's the only other person he'll go down for at night without a fight. I've had this night planned for weeks now and I know Rose wants to see this play. I couldn't give a rat's but it's our first anniversary so I thought I'd make it special for her."

"I knew you were always the romantic sort, Emmett," I teased my friend.

"Hey, it works out for me all around. I get to sit in a dark theater and let my fingers do the walking, and then when we get back to the limo, I know she'll want to take a drive around the lake. She's insatiable when she's pregnant and fancies limo shagging, says the motion of the car makes it even hotter. I just know it works for me. She's happy, I'm happy."

They were expecting their second child in a few months. Emmett had permanently relocated to the states and was working with me in the Seattle office.

I was thankful to have all of them around and we'd become an extremely close knit family.

Unfortunately, my Bella was not feeling any better the next day, so we bribed our nanny to help them out for the evening.

She would be taking Elizabeth and Anthony with her so we could have some time alone. We were way past due, but I was concerned about Bella's health.

She had lost her appetite and had been very moody as of late.

Okay, that was a bit of an understatement.

She'd just thrown a pair of pants at me that she'd tried to squeeze into, swearing that I had shrunk them in the wash before she collapsed to the floor crying. I approached carefully and was able to take her up into my arms. I kissed her cheek gently, murmuring comforting words as I rocked her against my chest.

She looked up at me with watery eyes. "What's wrong with me? Why am I such a mess?"

I was not answering that. I just kissed her and told her I loved her.

"I need tissue," she said climbing out of my lap and going to the bathroom.

"Anthony Masen Cullen!" I heard her yell.

I ran into the bathroom to find my son sitting in the middle of the bathroom floor grinning from ear to ear with two hands full of Bella's feminine products he was in the process of wasting.

He had plastered her panty liners all over the bathroom.

"Stickers!" he said cheerfully.

My poor beautiful Bella went from furious to crying again, sitting down on the bathroom floor. I shooed Anthony out, sending him to go get ready to go with the nanny so I could take care of my Love.

I quickly started pulling the pads off the cabinet doors and walls. "Do we need to get you some more pads soon? When is your period due, Love? Should I run out today?"

I heard a gasp and I quickly turned to see why.

Bella burst out laughing. When I looked down, I realized I had several liners stuck to my pants and shirt.

She got up off the floor smiling and started peeling them off of me.

God, it was good to see her smile.

"We do need to go to the store, Edward."

"Okay, baby, do you want me to go so you can rest?" She seemed to be sleeping all the time now.

"Yeah," she said with a yawn and then grabbed herself a glass of water. "But you'll want to wake me when you get back."

I looked at her confused as I was holding the package of remaining panty liners, trying to memorize exactly what I was supposed to be getting.

She took it from my hand and set it on the counter.

She hopped up on it herself and pulled me to her and kissed me softly. "I need a pregnancy test, honey."

My eyes popped wide. I was pretty sure they left my head for a moment. "You think?" I touched her stomach. I really hoped she was.

"We'll find out as soon as you get back." She kissed my lips and whacked my butt."Now go, I'll be waiting."

When I got home she was asleep, and all I could think was how could she sleep at a time like this? I had bought every kind of pregnancy test they had, not sure which one she would want to use. I walked in with three bags of tests and crawled up next to her on the bed.

"Bella? Love, I'm back," I said softly kissing her nose.

She opened her eyes and smiled. Then she saw the bags. "What on earth did you buy?"

"Pregnancy tests."

"How many do you plan on making me take?"

"I didn't know which one you wanted so I just got them all to be sure."

She laughed at me and kissed me, taking one of the bags from me as she slipped off to the bathroom.

I sat on the bed for a moment but then I couldn't stand waiting any longer.

I rushed into the bathroom to see her standing at the counter looking down at the test.

"Well?" I looked at it and I couldn't figure out what the damn thing said.

She smiled at me. "You wanted another baby, right?"

"Yes."

"Well, you're getting one," she finally said. "Congratulations, Daddy."

I wrapped her up in my arms kissing her with all my love and excitement. "We're doing this, we're really doing this! It's going to be so amazing this time, Love. I want you to let me do everything, okay? I want to experience every single moment of this." I dropped down to her tummy and lifted her shirt and began talking to our baby. She vibrated with laughter as I kissed her belly and introduced myself as the most important man in their life. I promised to be there every day, loving them, spoiling them, and loving their mother so they would never question whether or not their conception was welcomed and celebrated.

"What do you think, Love? Boy or girl this time?" I asked my Love.

"Oh, I don't know. Alice is having twins; who's to say we won't have a set as well? Stranger things have happened," she teased. Little did she know at the time that she was speaking prophetically.

I was so happy and excited. We were really doing this, and we were going to do it together this time. My Bella smiled at me, content with our lives now.

She had finally remembered everything about our life together before and had blended her happy past memories into our present ones, creating a firm basis for our growing love.

I never thought I could love the woman before me more, but I found that every day I was blessed to spend with her was one more level my love for her reached.

And her love for me was evident not only in the way she made love to me, but in the way she helped me, forgave my shortcomings and cared for our children and family.

Yes, we both knew now that she'd always loved me as much as I loved her. She was happy, she was healthy and she was here.

And that was all I'd ever wanted.
