Revenge of Freedom for the Children!
Right after dealing with the big defense metal gear, Raiden and the Maken-Ki group suddenly got a call from Kevin.
"Raiden! Guys! I knew I'd seen that guy before!" Kevin said.
"Big government guy?" Takeru asked, just to be sure they're on the same page.
"Big time. His name is Steven Armstrong, as in Colorado Senator Steven Armstrong. They're already talking about him as a shoo-in for the nomination in 2020." Kevin explained about the guy.
"As for the President shoo-in? Then he must be one big man to fill in those shoes." Chacha surprised.
"And get this: Two years ago, a federal grand jury investigated his ties to a certain private—" Kevin paused for Raiden to say as he already knows what he's about to say.
"World Marshal, one of the biggest PMCs out there. I remember Sam telling me about that, said it became the biggest after the Big Five split up." Raiden recalled those talks with Sam about some government talks and businesses.
"The Big Five?" Azuki wondered.
"A story for another time." Raiden said.
"Not to mention the World Marshal is the single largest investor in military cyborg R&D in the world. Guess that answers the question of who's backing Desperado…" Kevin mentioned, still surprise about all this info too.
"Damn, two big shots working together to make some shit things like killer cyborgs and even forcing children to take part in this grand scheme." Minori smiled angrily as she clutches her fists.
"Marshal and Desperado in Bed Together… Should make for some fun headlines." Raiden joked a bit.
"Headlines? This is World Marshal and a US Senator we're talking about. There won't be any headlines." Kevin said.
"What do you mean by that?" Haruko asked.
"Just as I said. Even without the Patriots' filter, no major media outlet will investigate allegations like these. It'd be financial and political suicide." Kevin pointed out.
"And that means we can't do anything against them?" Takeru asked, confused on what all of that means.
"Which would also mean those fuckers will keep carving up kids. Stand aside while they build an army of cyborgs." Raiden said, not happy with all of this.
"And you heard what they said, Kevin. Even if we shut down one lab, they'll build another and continue with their sick operation. They're planning something big, Kev—we can't just for it to happen." Raiden stated.
"I agree with you, we need to hit them first and hit them hard in where it hurts the most." Minori smirked.
"No, guys, no. And I know what you're thinking, Raiden, and… just no." Kevin disagreed with this train of thoughts.
"Don't tell us you're okay with having these kids being forced to being murders, are you?" Azuki asked with a disappointing look on her face.
"Of course not, but you need to understand that Colorado is in America, and America has these things called laws." Kevin said.
"What does law have to do anything?" Takeru asked, still confused on the big subject here.
"Laws that these shitheads use to keep themselves safe from being arrest for such crimes like this one." Yuuki stated with a straight smile and darkness on the inside.
"Yea, and law enforcement in Denver was privatized and farmed out to…" Raiden paused this time for Kevin to speak.
"Marshal! Yes, so what?! There are still laws! And it's their headquarters for Chris sakes. You'd be heading right into the heart of a raging shit storm!" Kevin pointed out of how it's a bad idea to go after those kinds of people.
"I didn't say it was gonna be easy." Raiden said.
"Not like life was ever easy to begin with. I'll try sending a message to the Japanese government who are in charge of keeping Tenbi Academy a secret once we share all this info to them." Minori smirked.
"What the what?! Now you want the Japanese government to be involved! No way, there's no fucking way that you can get them to go on board with your crazy ideas!" Kevin shocked.
"Don't worry, I have great negotiation skills to have them see things my way." Minori smirked.
"Does that mean you're gonna try Kamigari because that won't work since Desperado and Kamigari are working together." Yuuki stated.
"We're not even sure if we can trust Kamigari right now either." Azuki added, crossing her arms under her breasts.
"That doesn't mean we're going to give up on those kids who have already been taken away. We'll figure it out once the kids are safe." Raiden decided to focus on the current mission.
"Jesus… Kevin out!" Kevin grunted and hung up the call.
"Sounds like Kevin doesn't wanna go for the long and dangerous distance, am I right?" Minori commented.
"Kevin has always been the worrywart and whenever there are things that seem too much for any of us to handle, he suggests just backing away even when he fully knows it's what needs to be done." Raiden explained.
"It's not that Kevin is a coward or anything, mind you. He just doesn't want us all to die." Raiden stated.
"I guess I can understand that, but something tells me you guys have been making Kevin worry a lot before you even came to Tenbi." Takeru said.
"You better believe we have." Raiden smirked.
The group continued their way through a now metal and slightly dark hallway where they countered two guards, both were easily taken out by Azuki with a strong kick crushing the head and Minori smashed the other one with her fist.
They reach a door and open it with a simple push of a button, they walk inside to see some odd-looking equipment that seems almost like metal capsules to store things in.
"What are these things?" Haruko asked.
Right on cue, Doktor calls them.
"Ah, an artificial blood cryopreserver. They must have begun prepatory freezing." Doktor asked.
"I'm sorry, freezing?" Kimi felt a little freaked out from that.
"What do you mean?" Raiden asked.
"That device is filled with synthetic blood plasma. It can slow the metabolism of a harvested organ, circulating this plasma to sustain oxygen levels. You can preserve an arm, a brain—any body part, for several hours." Doktor explained.
"So, we're looking at some freezing body parts. Not weird at all." Takeru commented sarcastically.
"So, what are they freezing, and why?" Raiden asked.
"I could not say… Perhaps they plan to sell off the organs of the children they were told to dispose of?" Doktor guessed which only made the Maken-Ki group angry.
"I hope they drop dead." Kimi said in a very low tone.
"We can help them with that." Chacha said as she cracks her knuckles.
"You all best hurry." Doktor said.
"Right, we're on it." Raiden nodded before hanging up the call.
"Do you these things can also store up an entire body too, it would be nice for my sexy body to look nice for a long while." Minori looked at the machines closely.
"He said several hours, your body would still rot after that." Azuki pointed out.
"I can only guess that these things have been sold off to hospitals and medical research labs, either the high bastards knew about it or just didn't care about the details." Takeru said as he thinks about those brains they saw in that room.
"Try not to think about it too much." Haruko advised.
"While it's already too late to do something about the children who got their brains out, we can still do something about the ones who are still alive." Haruko stated.
"Just try being strong, okay?" Haruko smiled making Takeru blushes a bit.
"Sure, thanks for cheering me up." Takeru smiled back.
"Hey, lovebirds! Get your asses over here, we still got some kids to save!" Raiden called out, snapping the two out of their love moment.
"(I swear, it's like teenagers are looking for any excuse just to get some alone time together.)" Raiden thought commented.
Raiden press the button and the group enter the room hoping to find something that could at least tell them where the kids are, but the search ended here because they found the kids.
"There they are!" Kimi pointed at the window.
The group hurry over to the window, seeing about nine kinds inside a wide empty room all looking sad and tiresome, the kids started to notice the older kids and one adult on the other side.
"Don't worry, we're going to get you kids out of there!" Takeru promised.
"I don't think most of them can even understand Japanese." Azuki pointed out.
But suddenly an alarm sound went off and some white gas is coming out of the vents as the kids started to become very scared, they can tell that something bad is about to happen and a few cried a little.
"Oh no, what's happening?" Haruko asked worry.
"I don't know, but we better get them out of there and fast." Raiden said as he was about to slash the window.
"Quickly, in here!" Izumi shouted, getting the group's attention.
All of them became shocked to see the two kids they met earlier, Geroge and Izumi, are indeed here in the facility and seem to have been running away from something or someone.
"Geroge!" Raiden surprised.
"Raiden! Cool friends!" Geroge turned around to see them.
"Hey, you're the guys we met at the sewers." Izumu recognized them.
"I can't believe you kids actually came back here!" Chacha said.
"I didn't, it was Geroge's idea, and he forced this innocent girl to tag along." Izumi explained, panting a little.
"Me wanted to help you feel brava to fight guy bads." Geroge proclaimed.
"Get back here, you pequeños mocosos estúpidos!" The scientist angered, coming in with a gun in hand.
"Ah, you must be the unlucky intruders." The scientist smirked.
"It's the guy from the video." Minori whispered to Raiden, recognizing the man.
"What is happening in there right now?" Takeru asked, pointing at the room and the gas hitting the kids.
"That… You've heard of chloroform? A potent anesthetic in smaller doses. But breathe too much of it… and adios, muchachos." The scientist explained with an evil smirk.
"How do you sleep at night!" Kimi yelled.
"Like a baby!" The scientist laughed and pointed his gun at the heroes, ready to fire.
However, he could not be able to hold that gun again at Yuuki threw a kunai very fast to pierce right into the barrel shoot hole which the idiot scientist didn't realize until it was too late.
When he tried to fire the gun, it ended up exploding into pieces in the scientist's hand with some of those pieces piercing on the flesh of his arm making him scream in pain.
"¡Ay Diablo! ¡Eso duele como la mierda! ¡¿Por qué explotó la puta pistola?!" The scientist screamed in pain.
"That's the least of your worries!" Izumi ran up to the scientist with one hand glowing.
"EAT MY SHIT AND DIE!" Izumi shouted in rage and threw the punch right onto the scientist's head that send him crashing right onto the wall making a tiny dent from the impact.
While at the same time, sensing that things have been handle under control with the scientist, Raiden went to focus on saving the kids from the death gas and breaks through the window and everyone quickly got to work on getting the nine kids out of there.
"Minori, see if you can make this room go boom and burn up those vents while you're at it." Raiden ordered.
"Oh, I like the way you think, Raiden." Minori smirked.
Minori summons her flames to push it all into the white room and going into the vent to put out the gas with the intense heat of her burning soul to keep the chloroform away, then flames traveled through the vent and the heat causes some things inside to start exploding.
"Come on, we better get out of here fast." Minori said.
Everyone didn't argue with the woman as they got out of the lab as fast as they can do with finding the exit, and destroying some of the stuff along the way to make sure this lab would do down in flames and destroy so that it can never be recovered.
After a rushing escape, Maken-Ki and the kids were able to get out of the lab with everyone still in one piece though Geroge did a big cut on his arm and the shoulder to save Izumi from some sharp metal debris that were flying towards her.
"Are you going to be okay, Geroge?" Izumi asked.
"No worries, these scratches aren't worth a damn." Geroge proclaimed only to wince in pain when he tries to move it.
"We did it, we were able to save the kids who still have their brains in their heads!" Takeru cheered.
"Yeah, at least these kids won't have to worry about becoming killer cyborgs in their future, but something tells me they're gonna be traumatized for a while with everything they have been through." Yuuki pointed out.
"Especially with having been force to come here without knowing the real reason and using their needs against them too." Kimi angered at the bad people who doing such horrible things to these kids.
"So, what are we going to do about these kids now?" Minori asked.
"We'll have Boris, and the others keep them in a safe location, and hopefully help those kids with Elemental powers like Izumi. Probably put them to work until they're able to take care of themselves in the future." Raiden stated.
"Hey Izumi, that was a pretty good punch you did to that scientist back there." Azuki complimented.
"Thank you, I really wanted to give him one. Like I wanted to pierce his head with a sword!" Izumi smiled a little crazy.
"Just don't think about killing often, it's not a game even when surviving." Azuki said.
"No worries, Izumi is good girl with awesome punch!" Geroge believed making Izumi blush.
"Speaking of scientist, I brought along this guy for questioning." Yuuki revealed the evil scientist laying on the ground next to her.
"What the… When did you carry him?" Haruko asked shock.
"I thought about giving him my integrating method to have him talk about what he does know on Armstrong's plan." Yuuki explained.
"Let's hope the bastard wakes up soon, because we're gonna take the fight to him." Raiden glared at the sky. Feeling that a great battle is about to erupt.
(Kamigari Headquarter)
"It would seem one of your labs have been destroyed, Steven Armstrong." An old man informed with a smirk.
This old man is none other than Ouken Yamato, leader of Kamigari and he appears to be one major bad man.
"One little destroyed lab won't stop us with the plan to change America for the better, but it is concerning that we won't be getting any kids with elemental powers soon." Steven smiled on the big screen of Ouken's TV.
"Yet you don't seem bother by this." Ouken noticed this behavior.
"The plan is still in motion, and we still got away with plenty of resources. Although, it is going to be a problem since Maken-Ki has decided to butt into my business." Armstrong mentioned.
"So, I was wondering if you could help out with our alliance. You still want the Elemental power cyborgs, right?" Armstrong asked.
"Of course, your cyborg tech is truly outstanding for even one to take on an entire army, especially if one of them is powered by elemental powers!" Ouken smirked widely.
"Do not worry, I will send in an elite group to take care of Maken-Ki to death if you want. We can even have their battles recorded for data to your cyborgs if you want." Ouken offered.
"How very thoughtful of you. Just remember the deal to leave America to me, you can do whatever shit you want to the rest of the world for all I care." Armstrong nodded before hanging up the call.
"Steven Armstrong. He's truly a man with ambition, greater than any men combined of this world and doesn't hesitate to get his hands dirty too when he needs to." Ouken chuckled, then snap his fingers.
"Miyabi!" Ouken called out, and a woman stepped forward to her master.
"Yes, Master Ouken?" Miyabi asked.
"Have Venus come over here immediately, I have a mission for them regarding Tenbi Academy." Ouken ordered with half his face covered in darkness.
KO a new chapter is done and hope you all enjoy it!
The infiltration turns rescuing mission went off with a big success as Maken-Ki were able to save the kids who brains have not been put in jars, but it looks like now Kamigari are gonna make their move towards Tenbi Academy with a strong force of their own.
