I don't own RWBY. I own OC's.

Sorry if you find any grammar mistakes. I'm still learning English because it's not my first language.

Xyanth: Glad you're liking this story and I hope you'll like the rest of it :)

Things were far from perfect for Ruby and it was just a gentle way of putting it. After switching over with Yang when it came to the watch duty and going to sleep to get some rest for tommorow, she was woken up from her sleep by Zwei. Her pet rushed out of the camp shortly after and Ruby tiredly followed him, not wanting her pet to get lost in Mountain Glenn and making sure to be as quiet as possible as she didn't want to wake up her team and David.

Upon finding Zwei, her ears caught the sound of someone having a conversation in the distance as she immediately knew there must have been something wrong with it as she, her team, David and Oobleck were supposed to be the only people in Mountain Glenn right now. She quietly made her way towards the source of the conversation and her eyes caught the sight of the two White Fang members who were walking further into Mountain Glenn.

Making sure to stay as quiet as she could, she began to follow them and managed to find their base of operations in this city. Unfortunely it was when her luck ran out as her scroll turned out to have no signal when she pulled it out and tried to contact everyone. Knowing she had to hurry, she put her scroll aside and started to make her way back to the rest, intending to inform them about her recent discovery of the White Fang being in Mountain Glenn as quickly as possible.

She never made it to them, though as the ground broke apart underneath her feet. She managed to stop Zwei and her weapon from falling down into the hole but unfortunely she wasn't as fortunate them and fell down into the hole. After finding herself in the hole, she discovered an entire underground city there and her luck just got worse from there as she was discovered by the White Fang members as she explored the abandoned underground city further.

As the two White Fang members grabbed her by her arms and began dragging her towards their leader, she allowed herself to take a good look around her to get to know her situation better and saw the White Fang members loading crates into a train, using both manpower and Atlesian Paladins to do so. Upon reaching one of the train carts, a member of the White Fang named Perry called out for his boss and Torchwick's voice replied to his calling, revealing himself to be in charge of the White Fang members in this underground city.

"Wow! You are much more manageable without that oversized gardening tool of yours." Torchwick taunted Ruby, tossing her across the floor as he laughed. Ruby got up and charged at Roman. Roman dodged her possible attack by stepped to the side, sending Ruby stumbling across the floor, "Oh man. You know, Perry, I really did need this." Perry gave him a thumbs up in agreement as Torchwick laughed again and stepped closer to Ruby, aiming his cane at her, "But seriously. How'd you find this place, Red?"

Ruby groaned at him, using her semblance to dash off as Torchwick looked around himself, letting out a suprised noise and looked around himself, setting his eyes on Ruby who was running away from him at a fast pace. Torchwick simply turned his cane around and fired the hook of the cane at her, catching her in her hood. She was then dragged by the hook back to Torchwick.

"I see you've got some tricks up your sleeve! Let me make this clear. We're not through here yet." Torchwick smiled at Ruby, looking down at her as soon as she was dragged back to him by the hook of his cane. It was when a massive explosion echoed across the area, causing Torchwick to look up in the direction of it, "Oh, what the... Perry, if you and the boys could take care of that? Kinda in the middle of something."

Perry nodded at him, pushing himself into walk in the direction of the explosion. He never made it there, though as he stopped in his tracks as one more explosion took place. As Torchwick voiced his desire to learn what was happening right now, a third explosion occured not too far from him and the rest and multiple White Fang members came running around the corner, some firing at an unknown enemy.

It was when David, Yang, Weiss, Blake, Zwei and Oobleck ran out of the corner, making themselves known to Torchwick and the rest of the White Fang members. Torchwick looked at them with an annoyed look on his face as Ruby decided to use this moment to her advantage and try to escape. She jumped on Torchwick's shoulders and pulled his hat down to cover his eyes before fleeing towards her sister, sisters, pet and teacher. Not wasting any time, Torchwick readjusted his hat and glare at Ruby.

"Somebody kill her!" He shouted as he opened fire at Ruby and the members of the White Fang around him followed hie example and opened fire at Ruby as well. None of their shots hit Ruby, though as she dodged everything fired her way by them. Torchwick turned angrily to the White Fang member next to him, "Attach this cart and spread the word: We're starting the train."

Ruby looked over her shoulder, seeing how Torchwick and the White Fang members next to him began to climb into the train and turned to look forward herself again, seeing a group of the four White Fang members aiming their guns at her. She quickly stopped in her tracks, covering her face with her hands to shield herself from the upcoming shots as a huge explosion appeared behind the White Fang members, sending them flying and reveling Yang behind them.

"Ruby!" Yang smiled at the view of her sister as Ruby jumped into her arms.

"Are you okay?" Weiss asked in concern, standing behind the two sisters as Ruby was released by Yang from the hug.

David nodded, "Yeah. You had us worried there for a second."

"I'm fine, I'm fine!" Ruby assured them, "But listen! Torchwick's got all kinds of weapons and robots down there."

"What?" Blake's eyes snappe open at this information as he handed Ruby's scythe back to her.

Ruby nodded in confirmation, "Androids, mechs, they're all loaded up on the train cars!"

Oobleck shook his head at this information, "Ahhhh, that's ridiculous. These tunnels are sealed, the tracks lead to a dead-end."

"Get to your places, we are leaving now!" Torchwick's voice sounded in the speaker system as the train started moving towards the tunnels.

David shifted his attention from the train to Oobleck, "I don't think they care about it, Doctor."

"We need backup. Let me call Jaune." Ruby stated as she pulled out her scroll and tried to call Jaune, intending to inform him and his team about their situation. Her scroll once again showed her it had no signal, getting an annoyed groan out of her, "I can't get through!"

"So, what do we do?" Weiss asked.

"I believe we only have one option..." Oobleck said, not getting a chance to finish what he was saying as Ruby cut him off.

Ruby turned around to look at the moving train, finishing for her teacher, "We're stopping that train!"

"We better hurry, then." David stated, looking at the moving train as he knew it was only a matter of several seconds before it would completely vanish from their view, "The train will get away if we will not move right now."

Everyone nodded at the brown haired young man, knowing he was right and wasted no time when it came to getting themselves on the train. All of them started to make their way towards the train, intending to get themselves on the last train cart before it will be too late to catch up to it. Knowing there was only one way for him to get himself on the last train cart, David shot out his grappling hook towards it with hopes of it latching itself onto his target. A smile grew on his face as his plan worked and he was brought towards the moving train cart a second later.

Not wasting any time, grabbed into the ladder on the last train cart to make sure he won't fall off as soon as he reached it and his grappling hook went back to his wrist. He quickly climbed up the ladder, finding himself on top of the train where the rest was already waiting for him. He didn't ask himself how team RWBY found themselves on top of the train cart as he knew how they would do it. He had no idea how Oobleck found himself on top of it, though. Considering how quickly Oobleck moved around, David wouldn't be suprised if Oobleck caught up with the train by simply running after it.

Oobleck nodded to himself, shifting his gaze between team RWBY, "Alright. David's here! Let's hurry up! We must get to the front and stop this train!"

Weiss nodded at him as she quickly went to the hatch into the train and opened it, seeing there was a bomb inside, "Err... Professor?"

Oobleck set his eyes on her, correcting her in an instant, "Doctor."

Weiss pointed down the hatch, "Doctor..."

Oobleck knelt down in front of the hatch to take a look at the bomb, "That my dear... appears to be a bomb."

"A bomb?" David's eyes widened as team RWBY cringed and stepped away from the hatch, "Let's leave move into another cart."

"We should leave this train cart." Blake agreed with him, "I don't want to be anywhere near it when this bomb exploads."

"Yeah. We..." Ruby's words died in her throat as her eyes caught the sight of several White Fang members climbing onto top of the train. She wasted no time and informed everyone about it, "We've got baddies!"

"Well, I didn't expect them to go..." Oobleck was interrupted from voicing by thoughts by the sound of the bomb underneath him and the rest charging up and beeping, "...Easy on us. Time to go!"

"Alright! Let's go!" David wasted no time and pushed himself into run forward himself, finding himself on another cart a second later as team RWBY quickly followed him.

"Blake!" Oobleck called out for the black haired girl, putting his hand on her shoulder as he stopped her from going with her friends, "Detach the caboose! It will kill us all!"

"On it!" Blake nodded in understanding as she jumped down onto the connector and prepared herself to cut the connection. The connection went loose as soon as she prepared herself, though. She looked up at Oobleck right after, intending to inform him about this, "It decoupled itself!"

Oobleck looked down at her with a suprised look on his face, "What?"

"I guess he really doesn't want us on this train." Yang stated, standing next to Oobleck as Oobleck looked at the detached cart just a second before it exploded in the tunnel.

Oobleck shook his head to himself after seeing the train cart explode, "That's not good..."

"Err, neither is this!" Ruby said as Oobleck turned around to look at her and saw her standing next to an open hatch with Weiss and David. The three of them kept the hatch open, revealing another bomb.

Blake climbed herself into the train cart, "Another bomb."

"Yeah." David nodded in confirmation, getting the feeling there was a bomb in every train cart and he absolutely hated it, "Something tells me there's more of those on this train."

Weiss shook her head, "You're not the only one."

Oobleck made his way to the next train cart and opened the hatch, revealing there was a bomb there as well. He shook his head, turning around to look at team RWBY and David, "Weiss and David are right! They all have bombs!"

"Dammit." David muttered under his breath.

Weiss once again shook her head, "It's one of the few situations where I wish I wasn't right..."

It was when the bomb underneath team RWBY and David started beeping, telling them one thing. They had to leave this train cart as soon as possible. Not wasting any time, the five of them pushed themselves into run as the train cart detached itself from the rest of the train. The five of them jumped into another train cart, managing to distance themselves from the one with a beeping bomb just in time.

"This doesn't make sense!" Yang stated, watching the detached train cart distance herself from her and the rest as all five of them looked over their shoulders and saw the White Fang members getting closer and closer to them.

"Get the humans!" One of the said White Fang members yelled, pointing towards them.

Team RWBY and David exchanged glances with each other, knowing how their fight with the White Fang members was inevitable at this point and advanced towards them. They all moved past Oobleck, readying their weapons as they did so as the White Fang members were only meters away from them at this point. Knowing there was no time to delay it for any longer, the five of them moved to attack them.

Yang punched one of them, giving him a playful wink as she did so and knocked him off the train in the process as Ruby used her rifle part of her scythe to dash forward. As she moved forward, she made sure to knock every White Fang member off the train with the blade part of her scythe as Blake and Weiss took care of their set of the White Fang members with her own blades.

David watched everything happen from where he stood, thinking on how to involve himself in this fight and it was when an idea involving his grappling hook popped into his mind. He already tried something like this before during one of his training session, but it was one the pieces of furniture in Glynda's classroom. He never tried it out on a living person. This lack of experience made him slightly worried about him pulling this off. He brushed those feelings aside, though as he knew now it wasn't the time for this.

"Ruby. Be ready to catch me if something goes wrong!" He shouted upon making sure he was ready to try this out on a living person.

Ruby looked at him questioningly, "What are you going to do?"

"Something really crazy and something I don't think I've done before with an alive opponent when it comes to my grappling hook." David explained as he shot out his grappling hook towards the White Fang member. His grappling hook wrapped itself around his target and David was brought towards him in an instant.

The White Fang member looked at the hook wrapped around him in confusion, taken aback by what just happened as David used this to his advantage and slammed the handle part of his blade against his forehead as soon as he reached him. The White Fang member collapsed on the roof of the train cart, having been made unconscious as David quickly got himself back into a standing position, followed by grappling hook going back to his wrist.

"David! That was so awesome!" Ruby complimented him from where she stood with her scythe with her usual cheerful tone coming back for a second as all of the White Fang members or at least the one who were on the top of the carts were defeated at this point.

Yang made her way to him and gave him a pat on her shoulder, "I had no idea you knew how to do it on a alive person. All of your attempts so far were on the furniture in Ms. Goodwitch classroom."

"Me neither." David admitted, "It was my first time trying out this move with a living person. I'm glad it worked, though."

"Yeah. Me too." Yang nodded at him, knowing catching David if he fell off the train would make their situation worse as Oobleck turned around and watched the detached train car explode. The explosion created a hole allowing multiple types of Grimm to emerge into his view.

"Oh, dear." Oobleck shook his head, feeling how the realization of what really happening hit him like a ton of bricks as the horde of Grimm began to follow the moving train, "He's leading Grimm to the city!"

Weiss turned around to look at him, "What?"

"It's the cars! They detach and explode, creating openings for the Grimm!" Oobleck filled his students in on his realization.

"That's insane!" Blake stated, shaking her head as another train cart detached itself from the rest of the train.

"We have to hurry!" Oobleck stated, setting his eyes on Weiss, Blake and Yang as he pushed himself into run towards his students, "You three, go below and try to stop those bombs!"

"What about us?" Ruby asked, referring to herself, David and Oobleck.

David nodded in agreement, "Yeah. What about us?"

"We're going to stop this train." Oobleck explained, getting nods of understanding out of David and Ruby. The group split up right after. Weiss, Yang and Blake went inside the train cart underneath them as David, Oobleck and Ruby remained on the train carts and pushed themselves into run forward themselves. All of them were forced to stop in their tracks as multiple Atlesian Paladins piloted by the White Fang members jumped to the top of the train.

"Up ahead!" Oobleck pointed at the charging Paladin at the front of the group, having just stopped in his tracks, "We got a problem?"

"How are we going to defeat all of them?" David asked. He knew he could try the trick he did with his grappling hook back on the highway when he and the rest were chasing after Torchwick during their investigation, but it wouldn't work right now because of there being more than one Paladins ahead of him right now.

Oobleck took a sip from his thermos before transforming it into its weapon mode, a small flame burning at its tip. Zwei barked, letting him know he's ready for an attack and jumped and flipped in the air. Not wasting any time, Oobleck hit him with his weapon, turning him into a small fireball. The Paladin at the front of the group opened fire at Oobleck, Ruby and David before the fireball Zwei slammed into it, knocking it off the train.

"What is this dog made off?" David thought to himself in suprise, having never seen or expected to see something like this with his own eyes. Moments like this really reminded him that he wasn't from Remnant...

The fallen Paladin tumbled on the train tracks and exploded upon hitting a barricade. The next Paladin appeared in front of Zwei, with it's guns aimed at him. It never did anything to him, though as multiple shots from Oolbeck's weapon hit it. The force of the shots knocked it off the train as well as Oobleck got himself in front of Zwei in a dramatic crouching position with his weapon in ready, protecting him and Ruby and David followed him towards the corgi.

The minutes passed and David, Oobleck, Zwei and Ruby continued to make their way further down the train, making sure to take out every Paladin in their way. The brown haired young man stopped in his tracks for a second after reaching the penultimate Paladin standing in his and the rest way, letting out a deep breath as he looked at Oobleck, silently asking him for his permission to do the next move. Oobleck nodded at him, giving his permission and David shot out his grappling hook towards the Paladin right after.

The hook attached itself to the Paladin, bringing David closer to it. Upon finding himself on top of the Paladin, the White Fang member operating it shifted their attention to him and immediately began their attempts at try to shake David off them. It was when Oobleck cried out to David to stab a certain part of the Paladin and David nodded at his teacher, knowing what to do next and as he immediately put his teacher's advice in motion.

He quickly localized the part of the Paladin that Oobleck told him about and wasted no time when it came to stabbing it with his blade. The part of the Paladin began sparking with electricity as the Paladin stopped moving. The machine fell down, proceeding not to move as David pulled his blade out of it and jumped down from it into the train. Oobleck and Ruby made their way to him shortly after and nodded at him. He nodded back at them.

It was when the last Paladin standing in their way came into the picture. It began swinging it's arms widly at Oobleck, Ruby and David as Oobleck dodged a couple swipes from the Paladin and quickly made his way to the top of it's head. He shoot it in it's engine before jumping back down. Ruby twirled her scythe around a few times as David sheathed the blade that he wielded in his right hand and pulled out his revolver. It was when all three of them opened fire at the Paladin's feet, knocking it off the train.

"David! Ruby! You two go ahead!" Oobleck told his students as soon as the Paladin was knocked off the train. He motioned them to move forward as a Paladin jumped to the top of the train behind them, beginning to advance towards them.

"But.../What about..." Ruby and David began at the same time, not wanting to leave their teacher behind.

"Don't worry, you. It's time I teach them a lesson..." Oobleck reassured them, wanting to make them less worried about him as he rushed forward to the care of the upcoming Paladin, seeing how the other one quickly joined it.

David shifted his gaze to Ruby a second later, "We should go."

"Yeah." Ruby nodded in agreement. Just as they were about to move forward, Ruby looked down and saw a saddened Zwei looking up at her. She smiled and motioned for him to go join Oobleck, "Go." Zwei's face lit up at her words as he barked happily and ran off to join Oobleck as Ruby glanced at David, "Alright. Let's go now."

"I'll be right behind you, Red." David nodded, not worrying about Zwei as everything because of everything he had just seen from this dog as both he and Ruby rushed off to the front of the train. It didn't took them long as they reached it a few moments later and immediately saw a concrete wall in front of them.

Upon reaching the front of the train, the other members of team RWBY reemerged from the train cars to rejoin David and Ruby on top of the train. The said two didn't notice their presence right away as all of them focused their attention on the concrete wall in front of them. Both of them exchanged glances with each other, growing worried as both of them realized how the train colliding with the wall was inevitable at this point and how they couldn't anything to stop it from happening.

"What do we do?" Blake asked, having come to the same realization as her words resulted in David and Ruby finding out about her and the rest rejoining them on the top of the train.

Ruby and Weiss smiled at each other, the former feeling herself growing less worried as Weiss wasted no time and formed a large ice shield around her, her teammates and her roommates to shield all of them from the impeding crash. The train crashed into the wall shortly after, the explosion destroying the ice shield which had just been created by Weiss. The ice shield did it's job at protecting them as all of them made it out of the explosion without any major injures.

David let out a deep breath, collecting himself from the impact of the train exploading as he glanced to the side and saw Yang coughing into her hand. He slowly pushed himself into a sitting position, looking around himself as another sound rang through his ears. It didn't took him long to realize what was this sound. It was an emergency alarm. The kind of one you'd hear whenever something bad would be happening in your city.

The brown haired young man looked around himself, wanting to know how his roommates were doing right now and saw Weiss sitting up against a large piece of debris. She gave him a thumbs up, signalling him she was okay and David returned the gesture, showing her she was okay as well. They looked away from each other right after and looked around themselves, finding out they had found themselves in the central part of Vale from all the civilians they saw looking at them right now. They weren't the only ones. Ruby, Blake and Yang noticed this as well.

It was when all of them a giant snake-like Grimm emerged from the ground, followed by multiple other Grimm, The civilians screamed in terror as all of them attempted to flee from the chaos caused by the appearance of the Grimm. The sounds of screams of the civilians and roars of the Grimm filled the air as team RWBY and David exchanged glances with each other, knowing what they should do in order to protect the civilians from getting caught between the Grimm from the tunnels.

All of them got themselves back on their feet, grabbing their weapons and preparing them for battle as they did so as the Grimm began to circle around them. The Grimm in the area made the five of them their main target as all of the civilians fleed from the area, leaving them as the only people in the area. The five of them held their weapons in ready, exchanging glances with each other as all of them were ready to take on all these Grimm.

David looked between Ruby and Weiss, standing between them as he let out a short exhale. The brown haired young man couldn't help but feel slightly nervous about this situation, despite all the Grimms and Paladins he had just faced back in Mountain Glenn. The amount of Grimm around him he was seconds away from facing with his friend and the variety of them. He had never been in a situation like this before and it was the cause of him feeling nervous right now.

His attention was brought towards the snake like Grimm as it unleashed a might roar. It must have just told the Grimm to attack as all of them rushed towards team RWBY and David. Ruby made her move right after as she planted her scythe into the ground and jumped up. Holding into her scythe to make sure she will stay above the ground, she began spinning in circles around her weapon and kicking all of the Grimm away from her in the process.

Not wasting any time, Yang rushed towards the edge of the elevation she was standing on right now and jumped towards the Grimm in front of her. She planted her boots on it's head and propeled herself upwards. After finding herself in the air, she fired the weapon part of her gauntlets and performed aerial bombardment on the Grimm below her before three Giant Nevermores crashed into her from behind and send her crashing to the ground, making her rejoin her sister and her friends there.

As soon as Yang landed on the ground, Blake avoided an attack from a Beowolf and stabbed it through it's chin, killing it off. She didn't allow herself to lose their guard after it, though as she still knew there was a lot of Grimm around her to kill. She crouched down, beginning to turn around herself in circles and fire the gun part her weapon at the Grimm around her, taking care of them before they even got a chance to get close to her.

Weiss wasted no time as well when it came to taking care of all the Grimm around them. She swung her blade around, slashing every Grimm that dared to approach her and summoned a glyph to conjure up an ice blade. Putting the ice blade to good use, she swung it around and slashed a few charging Grimm with it. All of the Grimm were immeidately killed by it, allowing Weiss to switch her target to more of their buddies.

David looked around himself with an alerted on look his face, trying to see where the closest Grimm was and noticed a Beowolf charging towards him. Not wasting any time, he shot out his grappling hook towards it. The hook hit the Beowolf right in the head, making the beast roar as David was brought towards it and finished it off by stabbing it in the head with one of his blades. The now deceased Beowolf began to dissolve away right after as David pulled his sword out of it's head, followed by his grappling hook coming back to him.

A roar sounded behind him a second later as he turned around to the source of it and saw the next Beowolf standing behind them. Not wasting any time, he began his assault at it and slashed it with both of his swords as many times as he could right now in order to finish it off and make sure it will stay dead. The Grimm collapsed on the ground shortly after, beginning to dissolve away as David looked around himself and saw a group of Grimm charging towards him.

The brown haired young man held his breath, sheathing his right blade and pulled out his revolver. Not wasting any time, he opened fire at the charging Grimm and didn't stop firing until his revolver was completely empty. Half of the Grimm from the charging group was dead. It didn't stop the other half from charging towards him, though. Not wasting any time, he began reloading his revolver as Weiss came in his aid and swung her ice blade at the remaining Grimm from this group, killing all of them with a single move.

It was when a familiar sound of an explosion sounded in the distance, causing everyone to stop fighting the Grimm and shift their attention to it. All of them saw Nora descending from the sky with a grin on her face and with her hammer in ready. She set her eyes on the snake Grimm and slammed her hammer against it's head. She was brought away from the snake Grimm shortly after by the impact of the attack and fortunely it was enough to kill the snake Grimm as it collapsed on the ground.

Nora landed on the ground shortly after, holding her hammer in ready to kill more Grimms as Jaune, Ren and Pyrrha arrived at the place a second later, making themselves known to team RWBY and David. Pyrrha told her teammates to move and it was everything she had to say to them. She, Nora and Ren charging into the battle, with Nora being really eager to kill more Grimm as Jaune slowly followed them, feeling slightly nervous about this situation.

He stopped in his tracks a second later as a giant Ursa standing in front of him. He gulped nervously and began his attack on the Grimm, with Pyrrha watching everything from where she stood. Letting out a battle cry as he continued to slash the Ursa with his sword, Jaune managed to kill his opponent a few seconds later. The ursa fell down, beginning to dissolve away as Pyrrha smiled to herself, feeling proud of her leader killing the beast by himself.

Jaune looked around himself a second later, trying to find the next Grimm to fight and saw David slashing a Beowolf with both of his blades. The said Grimm let out one last roar and fell on the ground like a ton of bricks, sharing the fate of many of it's comrades as David turned away from the dissolving body and saw Jaune watching him from the distance. He smiled at him and Jaune smiled back at him, both of them feeling glad to see each other improve since their education at Beacon started.

"...Nobody moves!" Sun's voice sounded across the area, causing everyone to look over to the source of it to see him and Neptune standing next to each other. The blond haired young man pulled out a badge, showing it off to everyone as he smiled at them, "Junior detectives!"

"We have badges so you know it's official!" Neptune added, flashing his own badge to everyone as Weiss smiled slightly at the view of him, happy to see him again.

Sun reached into his pocket and pulled out the next badge before tossing it towards David, "David! We didn't forgot our conversation! We got you a badge too!"

David caught the badge in right hand and looked at Sun and Neptune with a suprised look on his face, "You actually made it official?"

Sun nodded in confirmation with a proud look on his face, "We sure did! You really thought we would back away from it after everything we told you about it?"

"So. What do you say? Are you up for some junior detective work in the future?" Neptune asked.

"Can you postpone this conversation for later?" Sage asked, not giving David a chance to answer to Neptune's question as he ran past Sun and Neptune with his weapon in ready. He wasn't the only one, though as Scarlet was right next to him. Not wasting any time, both of them moved towards the nearby Grimm and began to fight with the beasts.

Scarlet nodded in agreement, "We have some Grimm to kill if you haven't noticed it, yet."

"Sometimes I can't believe we're on the same team as these two." Sage stated

Scarlet once again nodded in agreement, "Ditto."

"Alright. Alright. I just..." Sun got interrupted before he could finish his answer as something echoed from the sky. He looked up towards the sky, followed by everyone else on the battlefield doing the same thing and all of them saw the Atlesian fleet arriving at the scene, with the dropships beginning to deploy the android foot soldiers on the ground. His eyes widened in awe at the view of it, dropping his junior detective badge to the ground.

As Ruby continued to look up towards the sky at the Atlesian fleet, an ursa used this fact to it's advantage and attempted to attack her from behind. It never did anything to her, though as it was gunned down by a dropship's machine gun before it could do anything to her. She looked up at the dropship, waving her hand at the pilot as a way of expressing her gratitude for taking care of the ursa before it could do anything to her.

The android foot soldiers were finished deploying shortly after and began gunning down the Grimm in the area. They weren't the only help that arrived as Cinder and her team made themselves known at the scene a few seconds later. All three of them immediately began taking out the Grimm with everything they had, with Emerald and Mercury doing a noticeable damage to the Grimm in the area and leaving many of them dead in the process.

David raised his brow, watching the three of them join the fight against the Grimm as he noticed Nyx Peridot was missing. He hummed to himself, wondering about her whereabouts as he hadn't seen her since his introduction to Cinder's team a few weeks back. The brown haired young man pushed those thoughts away a second later, knowing now it wasn't the time to wonder about things like this and went back to what he was doing a few second earlier.

More reinforcements arrived with each passing moment as Zwei and Oobleck in a damaged Paladin climbed themselves out of the hole, with Zwei headbutting a Beowolf and their arrival was followed by Port and team CFVY arriving in a Bullhead. All five of them jumped out of the Bullhead, joining the battle and Yatsuhashi immediately made himself known to the Grimm by smashing his greatsword to the ground, unleashing a shockwave that send the nearby Grimm flying.

Fox and Velvet wasted no time and began laying wast on the Grimm as well. Velvet respectively kicked and punche the Grimm she had just stumbled upon in her way as Fox unleashed a combo of slashes and punched that made a spiked Ursa explode, impaling the nearby Grimm with it's spikes. Coco, who was yet to join the fight, walked forward swatting a few away with her weapon as Yatsuhashi shielded Velvet before the two started advancing as well.

"Nice hustle, Fox. Good job." She told Fox, giving him a light pat on the butt as Yang saw from where she stood right, getting an idea on what to do now.

Yang walked over to David, seeing him kill a Beowolf with a shot from his revolver and gave him a light pat on the butt, "Good work today, David. I can see you improved since you began your training."

"Really?" David deadpanned at her way of approaching him and Yang smirked at him, feeling amused by his reaction as Coco approached a large Beowolf.

"You just destroyed my favorite clothing store." She told the massive Grimm and spat on the ground, "Prepare to die."

Coco, after swatting away it's right hand, kicked the Beowolf in the crotch. She, as it fell to the ground and looked up at her, leaned down and slammed her bag onto its head. She effortlessly swatted away three more Beowolves, then leaped back to avoid a Death Stalker's tail. Velvet stepped forward, and moves her hand towards a box attached to her hip. Coco immediately notice this and stopped her teammate from doing what she was about to do.

"Hey, come on, you just spent all the semester building that up. Don't waste it here." She told Velvet, walking past her as she transformed her bag into a giant minigun. Not wasting any time, she opened fire at the advancing horde of Grimm and slaughtered it, leaving not a single Grimm left alive.

As Coco took care of all of the advancing Grimm with her medigun, Oobleck and Port regrouped at the opening and exchanged nods with each other. They looked forward themselves shortly after and saw a group of Grimm charging towards them. Not wasting any time, the fired their weapons at the approaching him just as Glynda arrived at the scene and swatted the remnants of the Grimm away before closing the opening with her telekinesis.

Team RWBY, David and Zwei were sitting on the edge of Beacon's landing platform, overlooking the City of Vale from across the lake as all of them allowed themselves to have a moment of peace after the last few hours. After taking care of the Grimm in the city and patching up the opening the Grimm used to find themselves in Vale in the first place, everyone all rallied after all the fighting and turned Torchwick over to the authorities before returning to Beacon via Bullhead.

David rubbed the back of his head, "Well, today was quite a day."

"Yup." Yang agreed with him, "Look at the bright side of all of this, though. We did it."

Blake nodded in agreement, "We did it."

Weiss pointed at her friends, "If we don't get extra credit for that, I'm gonna be seriously disappointed."

"Weiss, a two-headed snake literally crushed a bakery." Yang pointed out, shaking her head, "I wouldn't count on it."

"Plus, I mean, we didn't solve everything." Ruby added, "A lot of people were hurt, and we still don't even know why they did this, or who that mystery girl was."

David raised his brow in confusion, "Mystery girl?"

"Right. You were talking with Sun and Neptune when Yang told us about it." Blake recalled and went to explaing to him right after, "When me, Weiss and Yang were inside we train, we stumbled upon a girl. She must have been an associate of Torchwick's as we saw her earlier with him back during our investigation after you, Sun and Neptune were knocked off the highway by Torchwick."

"I see." David nodded in understanding, "Let me guess. She got away?"

Yang nodded in confirmation, "Yup. One second I was fighting with her and when I woke up, she was gone."

"Hmm. Weird." David stated, getting a nod of agrement out of Yang as he reached out to Zwei and rubbed his head, much to the dog's delight, "I wonder who she was."

"There's no use to think about it now." Blake stated, "Whoever she was, we must leave this for the authorities for now."

Yang nodded in agreement and laid down on her back, "Yay, teamwork, camaraderie, good guys, go team, alright, good job... So, what now?"

"I suggest training for the tournament, but I guess we have that covered at this point." Weiss stated.

"Uhh... Time for bed?" Ruby suggested as everyone immediately voiced their agreement with her, feeling exhausted after today and feeling like they deserved some rest.

"Please."

"Absolutely."

"Yes."

"The best idea I've heard all day."

"I'm going to sleep forever." Yang stated, getting up and turning around to look towards Beacon's main campus as everyone else followed her example and started heading towards Beacon's main campus.

David nodded in agreement, "Me too. Nothing will make me leave my bed for the next several hours."

"We should talk about how you handled yourself today." Weiss told David.

Ruby nodded in agreement, "Great idea, Weiss."

"Alright." David nodded at them, knowing this talk would happen sooner or later and looked between them questioningly, "How did I do today?"

"You did rather well today." Weiss smiled slightly at him, "You handled yourself against all of those Grimm well for a person who began their training a few months ago. I've seen a few things you still need to improve, but it's nothing that a practice session can't fix."

Ruby nodded in agreement, exciteming becoming more evident in her voice with each word she would utter to her roommate right now, "Yeah. You should have seen how cool you were with your swords and grappling hook today! YOU WERE LIKE WOOSH WITH YOUR GRAPPLING HOOK AND THEN BANGBANGBANGBANGBANGBANG WITH YOUR REVOLVER!"

Yang chuckled at her sister's behaviour and added her part, "I've seen how you used your grappling hook back when the Grimm came into Vale. You definitely became better at using it ever since we started your training." She smiled at Yang with a slightly amused look on her face, "I still remember how you crashed into the wall after you used it for the first time."

"Yeah. I remember it as well." David looked slightly embarassed by this memory, remembering how bad he was at using his weapons back when he started his training after waking up in the Emerald Forest. He smiled at his friends right after, appreciating their words, "Thanks, guys. I'm glad my training is paying off is ome way and that I'm not wasting your time with these sessions."

Weiss pointed at him with her expresison becoming more stern, "Don't let yourself rest on your laurels. You still have a few things to improve and we'll be working hard on them over the next few weeks."

David nodded at her, reassuring her, "Don't worry. I wasn't planning to."

Weiss' small smile went back to her face, "Good."

Yang gave David a pat on his shoulders, "You'll see, Davey. You'll reach our level of skills sooner than you think."

"Here's hoping." David smiled at her as someone bumped into him when they were about to continue their conversation. He and his roommates must have been too occupied with their conversation and must have failed to notice someone walking their way. He looked down at the person he had just bumped into with an apologetic look on his face, "Sorry. I wasn't looking where..." His words died in his throat as he recognized the person he had just bumped into. It was Nyx, "Nyx?"

"Who?" Blake asked as Nyx looked up at David with an angered look on her face, feeling angry at him for bumping into her. Her angered expession seemed to soften up a little after she saw him. Yang noticed this sudden change of expression and smirked.

Ruby nodded in agreement, "Yeah. Never saw a Nyx at the campus before."

David put his hand on his chin, recalling they weren't there when he met Nyx, "Right. She wasn't there when you four met Cinder's team."

Weiss looked at him with an interested look on her face, "She's from Cinder's team?"

"It would explain why I haven't seen her before. She's never around when I see Cinder's team." Yang stated, remembering how the fourth member of Cinder's team was always missing.

"Hi there, friend. My name is Ruby Rose. I hope we can be friends." Ruby smiled at Nyx in a friendly manner as she held her hand out to her for a handshake. Nyx stared at her hand, not shaking it for a few seconds, "Um, friend?"

"She's shy. Or least this is what her team told me about her." David explained, remembering Cinder telling him how Nyx was shy after Nyx kept herself hidden away from him behind Emerald and Mercury as Nyx nodded in confirmation, looking slightly tense to be around him all of a sudden. Yang noticed this and it caused her smirk to grow wider.

Ruby smiled sheepishly, pulling her handa way from Nyx, "Oh, I see. Sorry if I made you uncomfortable friend."

"We should get going. She probably has some business to attend to and we already took enough of her time." Weiss said as Nyx nodded in confirmation, letting them know she indeed had something planned right now without saying any words to them.

Ruby nodded at Nyx, giving Nyx a quick wave as she walked past, "Alright, then. Take care, friend."

"Until next time, Nyx." David smiled slightly at Nyx as Nyx slightly smiled back at him and pushed herself into walk, walking past him. He pushed himself into walk aftewards and followed his friends towards their dorm. As he catched up with them, he saw the look Yang had directed towards him right now, "What?"

"David. I had no idea you had in you." Yang told David, smirking at him, "First your friend from Vale and now Nyx? You can color me impressed."

David raised his brow at her, "What do you mean?"

"Come on. Don't tell me you haven't seen it." Yang replied, "You haven't seen the way she looked at you after she realized she had bumped into you and how tense she was around you?"

"No?" David shook his head, "Yang. Where are you going with this?"

"Where am I going with this you ask?" Yang's smirk grew wider as she explained herself to him, "If things won't work out with your friend from Vale, you can always try something out with Nyx. I'm sure she won't mind going on a date with you from the way she looked at you right now~."

"Of course. What else I was expecting from you?" David rolled his eyes as he pointed at Weiss, "You have someone in a relationship over here. You have so much material to tease. Why don't you tease her instead?"

Yang shrugged, "Teasing Weiss isn't as fun as teasing you as she is much easier to fluster than you are."

"Hey!" Weiss shouted, slightly offended by Yang's words.

"It's true, though." Blake stated as Weiss huffed, crossing her arms.

"Alright. Fair enough." David nodded at Yang, seeing a point in her way of thinking. He smiled slightly at Yang and she smiled back at him as Ruby rubbed Weiss' back comfortingly from Yang's words a few seconds earlier. Not wasting any time, all of them made their way into their dorm to get some well deserved rest and to end this rather long day.
