"So, Sora, what are your friends like?"

"Oh? Well, there's Kairi and Riku! They've been my best friends since as long as I can remember! Then there's Donald and Goofy, the best two friends I could ask for when going on adventures!"

Sora rambled on for a little, telling Zack of the many friends he had made across all of his adventures. He hadn't had a real chance to ever tell anyone about stuff like that, and it felt good to get it off of his chest.

"What about you, Zack? Did you have friends back home?"

"I had a few friends, mainly played games with a lot of the younger kids in my world. There was this one shy boy, I remember, he was really nice when you got to know him."

Sora leaned on the table curiously. "Remember his name?"

Zack nodded. "I think so… it has been 10 years after all. But his name was something sky related… not Skylar or anything like that, but something like… Oh! It was Cloud!"

Sora's eyes widened. "Cloud!?"

"You know him too?" Zack gasped.

"Of course! I met him on my first adventure all the way back in the Coliseum, we even battled one another! I totally won!" Sora chuckled happily.

"The Coliseum? What was Cloud doing there?"

Sora thought back to that day he met Cloud, trying to recall the conversation they had. "I think he said something about looking for someone. He asked Hades, but we all learned you can't trust that guy at all!"

"Looking for someone? Why would Cloud go off talking to Hades if…" Zack stopped, his eyes filling with the littlest hint of sadness.

Sora tilted his head to the side. "Zack?"

"Cloud must have come looking for me. Who better to find a missing presumably dead guy than the God of the Underworld himself?"

"You think he was looking for you?"

Zack shrugged. "Probably. Who else would he try finding?"

"I thought maybe it was Sephiroth, but now that you know-"

"Wait! Sephiroth!?" Zack interrupted. He nearly fell out of his chair, frantically scrambling to stay put.

Quickly, Sora started to tell him everything he knew about Cloud and Sephiroth. From their interactions to how their big battle had gone down back in Radiant Garden. All of it didn't seem to make Zack look any more relaxed than he had been before.

"Cloud and Sephiroth…."

"So you knew Sephiroth too?"

Zack hummed, leaning back in his chair. "Yeah… Let's just say, to keep matters simple, he was a friend a long time ago. But I guess… something happened. Makes me wonder what could have caused Cloud to get so involved with him…" Zack sighed heavily.

Sora nodded in agreement. "Me too… Wish I knew what happened to them after their big battle. Never got the chance to go back to Radiant Garden to talk to Leon, Tifa, and everyone else in my last adventure."

Zack frowned for a moment before he went back to grinning. "Well, if Cloud's gotten as strong as you said he has, then he has nothing to worry about!"

"I just wish I knew where he went…"

"Hey! Maybe we'll see him again," Zack replied happily. "We'll find a way back to our own worlds and I know I'll be able to find him."

Pushing aside his worries, Sora smiled back at Zack. "You're right, Zack! I know we can find a way home!"
