First chapter is up! Enjoy :)

It's been a pretty quiet last couple months out here in space.

Ever since he killed a small group of three bad bloods hiding out on Planet Ywa, there hasn't been much action afterwards. They were dispatched rather quickly too because they were all Youngbloods and not very experienced.

The Arbitrator hated the fact they chose that world of all worlds to hide out on. Planet Ywa was a cold, snowy world. And like most his kind, he wasn't fond of the cold.

The only clan that didn't mind the frozen tundra were the Isolated Clan.

One of Bhu'ja's friends and fellow Arbitrator, Ci'tde was from that clan. And when Bhu'ja told him of that hunt and how unpleasant that world was; Ci'tde got a good laugh at his expense.

"Oh, c'mon, Bhu'ja. It's not that bad. That's what the thermal netting is for. Did yours happen to break again while fighting the bad bloods on Planet Ywa? Is that why you sound so grumpy?" Ci'tde teased during a call.

"No, it didn't tear or break. But it can still only work so much. Though one of the little cjits I was hunting did try to rip it during a fight. Then the stupid pauks thought they could try to make off with my ship.

Of course, they didn't get very far, and I caught onto them right away. Because as you know, Youngbloods are not always that bright. Hence, their inexperience." Bhu'ja stated.

This call took place right after his mission was accomplished. Though the seasoned Arbitrator didn't take any skulls this time around. They just weren't worthy or put up a good fight.

Now Blooded and Elites, they were definitely worthy and more challenging.

Bad bloods certainly ranged in age and ranks. A good portion of them were either Youngbloods or Blooded warriors. And there have been a few rare instances where some Elites had turned and became Bad bloods.

Bhu'ja had dealt with one not too long ago. He was informed by one of the Elders from the Elite Clan. The Elder informed him that one of his Elites made some very bad choices during a couple hunts and landed himself in a lot of trouble.

And while attempting to cover up his wrongs, he killed another fellow hunter.

So, the Elder contacted him, gave him info on this rogue Elite along with his image and known hot spots on where he likes to frequent. Though knowing where a former warrior turned bad blood liked to occupy his time, wasn't really relevent in a case like this.

Yes, the young ones were dumb enough to go back to hunting grounds they frequented. But not older, more experienced warriors. Because they knew that those places would be the first places an Arbitrator would look for them.

So, they would find other places to run to.

It took Bhu'ja quite a while to find this rogue Elite. He was pretty good at covering his tracks. Until someone tipped him off about a lone yautja on a distant world that had illegally hunted a species under protection on that world by its local inhabitants.

But that wasn't the worst part. Some of the inhabitants were going missing and some were found dead. The slayings were indicative of a yautja hunter. With some of the injuries on the bodies consistent with yautja based weaponry.

And it wasn't just males that went missing and were killed. There were some females and even a couple younglings that were slain by this rogue.

So, he headed out to this world as fast as possible. And by the time he got there, the body count had risen with a couple more bodies being recently discovered right outside city limits.

It took about a week to figure out his patterns and track him down. But eventually, Bhu'ja found him and engaged him in a fight. The rogue Elite may have been a few inches shorter than the Arbitrator, but he had more bulk when compared to Bhu'ja's leaner frame.

The fight lasted a while. They started off with weapons for the first half of the fight. Before the bad blood Elite threw the last of his weapons down and threw open his arms and bellowed a challenge of Jehdin Jehdin at him.

Bhu'ja excepted the challenge head on and fought him.

The Arbitrator used his speed and skills to combat the bulkier yautja. And that is what helped give him the edge in that fight. Though that didn't mean there wasn't a bit of a struggle.

The rogue Elite was a little older than Bhu'ja and the older a yautja was, the more experienced they were.

But Bhu'ja was cunning and very strategic in his fights. Just because one had one more experience, doesn't mean they were untouchable. They had weaknesses just like everyone else. And during a fight can still make mistakes.

The fight got bloodier as it progressed. But Bhu'ja was able to come out on top. Despite the fact that in a last-ditch attempt, the bad blood decided to pull a weapon last minute during hand-to-hand combat and use it on the Arbitrator.

It didn't work though, and Bhu'ja deflected the shuriken, then quickly grabbed the rogue by his head. With a sickening crack, he snapped the bad blood's neck.

That was one fight he gladly took the skull for a trophy to add to his growing collection of Bad blood skulls.

Right after it was over, he contacted the Elder from the Elite Clan and told him it's done, and the rogue had been dealt with. They thanked him for his service and gave him a nice fee.

It was a dangerous job, that's for sure. But he enjoyed it. Bad bloods were scum; trash that needed to be disposed of. And he was more than happy to be one of the ones to take them out.

And he worked hard to get to the position he was at today. Bhu'ja was also credited at being one of the best Arbitrators out in the field at this time.

Which made some of the older more experienced ones a little jealous of him but at the same time respected him for his prowess.

There weren't too many at his age that showed as much promise and skill as him. His superiors just called him a born natural. And would joke that his name was fitting. And not just because of his rather light pigmented complexion

He would seldom be there one moment then gone. And all that would be left of his target, was a dead body. Killed by a 'ghost' indeed. The young Arbitrator was very swift and efficient.

His style more like that of a highly skilled assassin or hit man.

In his down time, Bhu'ja taken the opportunity to train and even went on a couple short hunts.

Though the hunts this time, weren't very fruitful. He maybe came ack with only one skull and that was it. But hey, it was better than none at all.

At the moment, the smokey whitish grey colored yautja was sitting in his chair in front of the controls. He gazed out the large window in front of him into the deep void of space with its countless stars.

While he fingered his necklace and appeared deep in thought.

Bhu'ja been out here for almost a year now. And he was thinking about visiting home world. Since it has been a little slow, he could probably squeeze in his time there.

He looked forward to going back. If just to see old friends, drink some good c'ntlip, and find a nice female to mate with to pass his time there.

'I think after ten months out here, it's time to head back for a while.' Bhu'ja thought.

The Arbitrator was about to press a few buttons to plug in the coordinates from home world. When something happened.

A ripped hole appeared in space off to his right in the distance. And a fairly large ship came through it. It then started traveling past him at fairly quick speed.

His scanners were activated and ran over the other ship as it past by in the distance.

Afterwards a holographic image popped up of the ship in question. He was looking through the details that were appearing below the image.

He furrowed his brows when he saw this ship had been registered as stolen. And the only ones who would do such a thing were bad bloods.

'Guess I got to hold off on going home a little longer.' Bhu'ja thought.

The Arbitrator was a little disappointed. Because he really looked forward to going home for a little while.

But duty came first. He had to pursue these assholes and put a stop to them. Then maybe, if the ship was still intact afterwards, he could try and return it to the rightful owner/s. Assuming the original owners weren't dead.

Because with at least half the ships that are stolen by bad bloods, they usually end up killing the ones operating it.

He rapidly pressed a few buttons and grasped one of the levers. The Arbitrator cranked up the juice in his ship's thrusters and went after the stolen ship.

Until Next Time ;)
