Prologue: Toon Takeover
The forest fire grew intensely. Multiple bright lights emitting across the forest. Running through the destruction was a black and red dog ran through it, leaping over obstacles such as fallen trees and rocks. An egg was carefully clutched in his mouth.
"Pretty Cure: Marble Screw~!"
A massive black and white combination beam fired behind the canine. There was little room for the creature to escape due to the enormous beam radius. In a flash of quick thinking, the dog spat out the egg just in time to prevent it from being caught in the beam which consumed the dog, obliterating it into nothing but ashes.
The egg tumbled down a slope, but despite being rigid and hard on the journey down, the shell did not crack. At the bottom, the egg rested motionless beside a tree.
"I think it went down here!" A female voice called out. A certain girl in a white dress and dark blue hair slid down the hill and noticed the egg. "I knew they would try something like this…"
The girl walked towards the egg. "This...feels wrong...but...It has to be done…" She raised her foot preparing to stomp on the egg. "We can't let any of them survive."
CRUNCH~!
A black cartoon-looking dog's eyes opened as he awoke upside down on the floor. He positioned himself right side up, rubbing his head with his paws. He glanced around, realizing that he wasn't at his home world.
"It's all just a dream," He sighed, breathing heavily. "A weird, disturbing dream."
A loud snort caused the dog to flinch. He noticed an arm dangling on the side of the bed. The dog sighed. "Ericha's gone full Staryu again…"
He glanced at the patio window which showed the neighborhood. The sky was deep blue and some of the street lights were still on. "Well since I'm up, I might as well try to prepare my own breakfast."
After stretching a bit, the dog slowly opened the door and crept out of Ericha's room and into the dark silent hallway. Right across from Ericha's room was her younger siblings' room and beside it was her parents' room. He walked in the opposite direction from the parents bedroom to the bathroom. Once inside he closed the door.
So for those who don't know, or haven't seen my previous story, my name is Blaze Inferno; a species of Pokemon called a Houndour. My world is under siege by these creepy gothic monsters known as Heartless, and I was sent to this place called Earth for my safety. That's where I met a girl named Ericha and her family, and discovered that Pokemon in this world are based on a fictional show and games for kids.
Five weeks ago, my older deranged sister, Mizella Inferno, summoned a giant Octillery heartless during Ericha's Graduation Dance. I barely managed to beat her and her monster, with the help from a strange girl named Cure White and two legendary Pokemon; Huron the Ho-oh, and Berica the Kyogre.
A week after that incident, they were able to continue on with the Graduation ceremony, which is much more tame than ours back at home. Ericha's friend Ashely just kissed Shermar, Jesselyne and Tristan teased Ericha, and we all lived happily ever after…
That's what you think right? If that were the case, then the sequel would be pointless.
Right after we returned from Pizza Hut, a bunch of men in black calling themselves the FBI, surrounded the apartment. One of them, who looked like a thin Makuhita, explained to us that it's "national security."
Either that...or they would do some deadly and questionable experiments on me, which might result in my death.
They've been asking questions about my existence, and about the Heartless monster. You might be wondering about Remoraid, the host of the Heartless Mizella used.
Well...let just say it involves a toilet, and spoiled milk.
On a brighter note, the Hames family are still able to live their normal lives. Ericha, Jesselyn, and Tristian are still able to go to school. Their parents Geoff and Sheila haven't lost their jobs, and I'm not on a lab table. Just as long as the FBI is notified of anything heartless or unusual.
After briefing the readers of the aftermath, a drenched and deadpanned Blaze walked out of the bathroom. "I really do hate those indoor bathrooms."
After drying himself off with a good shaking, Blaze went into the kitchen for something light to eat since it was still dark out. While rummaging through the cupboards, his ears pick up a couple of odd voices from the living room.
"Would you push harder?"
"We're trying, but like your giant belly is not making it easy!"
"Did Tristian forget to turn off the T.V again?" He asked himself quietly, before walking towards the living room. "I better do it before he gets in troub-!"
Blaze froze in place and blinked when he witnessed a strange event unfolding in front of him.
A strange animated creature trying to pull itself out of the television screen. He recognizes the black and orange fur, as well as it's round, overweight body, from the comic books he read with Jesselyn.
"...Garfield?" Blaze blurted out.
Hearing his name, the fat cat glanced at him and groaned. "Oh, this is just great. First my owner was abducted in the middle of preparing my dinner, and now there's a dog on the other side of the portal."
"How...?" Blaze questioned, looking unsure how to react.
"Hey!" Called out a female voice. "Whoever's on the other side, help us push this massive fat pumpkin out quickly!"
"I'm not fat~!" Garfield snapped. "I'm big boned!"
"No King Kong was big boned. You're fat," she retorted snarkily. "I honestly feel sorry for your owner having to feed you six times a day."
"Like that beats Scooby's high score of eating!" replied frightened voice.
"Scooby...?" Blaze tilted his head.
"I hate to break this lovely conversation, but eh...we've got company!" The third voice from the other side said.
"Zoink~!" A male cried out, followed by a loud crashing sound.
The Houndour quickly grabbed a pillow and went towards Garfield. The orange fat cat latches onto the opposite side of the pillow. "I'm ready!"
"All right 3...2..1..push!" Just as she ordered, Blaze pulled as hard as he could on the pillow, while Garfield slowly descended from the portal.
POP~!
Like a cork, Garfield pops out of the television. The flailing tomcat flew into the air and crashed into the one cushion couch.
"I'm okay!" Garfield muffled from the couch before sliding down off of it.
"LIKE, HURRY HE'S COMING IN THE ROOM~!"
Blaze quickly jumped out of the way just in time as the person leapt out of television. A tall teen with a green t-shirt and red shorts landed face first into the floor. Behind him a teenage girl with short orange hair and wearing a red shirt under a dark green sweater landed on top of the boy. Lastly, a white and gray bunny rabbit came tumbling out beside the two skidding on his butt.
"Sorry, but you'll thank me later!" The girl exclaimed. She raised her hand up causing some water to rise up from the vase and hovered it above the television. She then poured the liquid on the television causing the device to spark a bit before shutting off.
The four toons were quiet for a bit until the rabbit spoke. "You know you could've just changed the channel."
"I was panicking okay~!" The girl shot back.
"Tristian!" Ericha groaned, walking towards the living room. "...How many times does mom have to remind you not to watch T.V. in the middle of the night…?"
The situation Ericha witnessed took her a moment to process. Her eyes widened in shock when she saw Blaze with four different people in her house. Ericha was so overwhelmed that she fell backwards, fainting instantly.
…
…
...
"Well...at least she didn't scream," the cat acknowledges breaking the awkward silence.
