Chapter 1

"Atlanta, I am Shadowmoth, Why is it always you? There are others who would want quests."

Percy clutched his head from where he'd fallen. "That's true." He said

"I can give you the power's to stop this. All I need in return is Ladybugs and Cat Noirs miraculous."

Percy stopped fighting, and then gets enveloped in black bubbles.

Sitting where Percy had fallen was a man with blue skin, a golden trident on his back. Atlanta stood and started towards Nico, who was staring at his cousin.

"Percy? What did that butterfly do to you?"

"I am Atlanta now, go to high ground and stay away from me." Then he turned and left.

Nico stared after Percy a sense of unease growing. What had happened to his cousin? What had happened when the weird black butterfly entered his camp necklace? One thing he did know he had to stop Atlanta before he destroyed the city. He shook his head then started to chase after the blue man that used to be his cousin.

Adrien

Adrien's phone buzzed, Akuma alert flashed on the screen.

He ducked into an alley way then clicked on the news feed. The day's akuma was a merman there was a trident on his back. Plagg was floating at his shoulder a look of deep concern on his face.

"What's wrong?" Adrien asked.

"Nothing" Plagg said quickly.

Almost too quickly, Plagg was hiding something.

"What do you know?" Adrien demanded.

"Ancient laws couldn't tell you even if I tried." Plagg said after hesitating.

"But I do need to talk with Tikki; ancient powers are at play here."

"But I need you here."

Plagg rubbed his chin.

"Transform," He said at last. "When you see Ladybug, tell her that I need to talk with Tikki."

"Sounds good, Plagg claws out!"

Cat extended his baton and soared above the roof tops headed in the direction of the akuma. How he was going to defeat this villain was unknown but Plagg's reaction was unsettling Ancient powers? What in the world was that supposed to mean. Wasn't the miraculous an ancient power did the akuma have a miraculous? He hoped not the one time Queen Bee had been akumatized things almost went wrong.

He had reached the akuma. He sat on his knees waiting for a clue to figure out where the cursed object was and a clue to blue's powers. A pale boy holding a pure black sword was hidden behind a car. Could it be possible that the sword was where the akuma was hidden?

He landed by the boy before he could say anything he had a sword at his throat.

"Ack!" He yelped, "I'm the good guy."

He pushed the sword away from his throat.

"Who carries a sword like that anyway?" He asked after the pale boy pulled his sword back.

"I do." said the boy studying me with cold black eyes.

"Is that the akumatized object?" Cat asked.

Nico

"You mean the place the butterfly landed?"

The back cat man nodded while he peeked over the car's hood.

A thud behind them alerted them to the akuma behind them. With one movement of his hand his trident appeared.

"Hello, Cat Noir. I have a favor for Shadowmoth. See and I need your ring for him." Then he swept the trident in front of him. Launching the man in black a good twenty feet away he landed with a thud. Atlanta turned and headed towards the Cat.

Nico drew his sword. "Hey!"

Atlanta ignored him. Nico charged, and with a few steps stood in front of the black cat boy who was shaking rubble from his hair.

"Look at me when I'm talking to you."

Atlanta laughed "You really think you can stop me? You're nothing but a guppy."

"Well, then get ready for a fight Mermaid."

Before Nico could even move to strike, Atlanta disarmed him, Nico stood there stunned.

"You shouldn't have been able to do that!"

"I have a few new powers cuz. Want to feel another one of my new ones." Atlanta leveled his trident at Nico's chest it started to glow with a blue light, but his eyes had a glint of worry.
