Road Trip: Stoyrbrooke

By Michael Weyer

This was a ditty that hit me fast, building off of the Kate-Yelena meeting in "Celestial Navigation." Also, several bits will make more sense if you've read "Sins, Sirens and Strife" and "Counterpart Conferences" Chapter 6.

I don't own any of the shows involved but enjoy.

Seven Months Ago

Earth-3487

Toronto

As always, the mood in the Dal was light and full of festive times. The Fae mingled around, sharing drinks and stories, a good mood abounding with the various supernatural creatures enjoying a pleasant evening. It was the nice night off that a certain succubus and her human partner needed.

"Ah, Fae vodka!" Kenzi grinned as she accepted the bottle from Trick. The young woman was clad in her usual quirky outfit of a short skirt with long hose over her legs, dark red boots, a darker vest over a lighter shirt and a few rings and jewels as accessories. Her long dark hair with bangs framed her attractive face as she downed half a shot in one go.

Next to her, Bo had to chuckle. The strikingly beautiful woman with long black hair was in her own usual outfit of leather pants and a matching jacket with a corset-like type enhancing her ample curves. "Save some for tomorrow, Kenz."

"Ah, come on, Bo, our line of work, who knows what happens?" her friend said as she downed another shot. Behind the bar, Trick just chuckled, the small man used to her antics.

"Come on, Trickster, line up another!" Kenzi declared as she pushed the glass forward. "Been too long since Bo-Bo and I hit the town together!"

"It is good having you back," Bo agreed, having missed the quirky semi-reformed thief's banter.

"Thanks. So how's the love life? Last I heard, you were still balancing the sweet doc and sweeter Valkyrie. Make a choice or are you on some time share thing?"

Bo rolled her eyes. "Not quite that far along although we are...handling as best we can." Her eyes looked over to see Lauren and Tamsin both entering the bar. The human doctor looked lovely as ever with her long blonde hair, dressed conservatively compared to others in the room. That included the stunning blonde Valkryie with her hair highlighting her gorgeous face and her outfit of jeans and jacket over a dark top doing little to hide her obvious warrior demeanor.

Kenzi saw them enter and raised an eyebrow. "Huh, didn't know they got so chummy."

"Turns out a lot more in common than they realized."

"Oh, I bet..."

Bo's reply was ended by a loud scream at the end of the bar. Everyone turned to where a woman was jumping back, staring in shock as her horn-headed date seemed to vanish in a cloud of dust. Before she could do more, a wave of grey washed over her body and she too disappeared.

"What the shit?" Kenzi blurted. Another scream echoed as a waitress vanished as well, her tray of glasses shattering on the floor.

Trick's eyes were wide with horror as he saw more of his customers vanishing in clouds of ash. Bo was looking to Lauren with worry when she heard a soft voice behind her. "Bo?"

Turning, Bo saw Kenzi staring at her hands, which were starting to flake and then break off. The younger woman looked up at her with shock and fear on her face just before the cloud washed over her and she vanished into nothing.

Bo stared at where Kenzi had been before whirling to the other two women. "Wha...what is..." She stopped as she saw their eyes both widen in matching horror. Looking down at herself, Bo had enough time to see the grey coloring coming toward her. And then, she knew nothing at all.

Lauren raced to the cloud of ash that had been Bo, collapsing on her knees before it. She reached to it, choking her professional demeanor gone along with her lover. Tamsin knelt and held her tightly, stroking Lauren's hair as she was unable to stop the tears coming to her own eyes.

Neither even saw Trick also turning into dust as they knelt amid the chaos of the club, and their world, and bound by their mutual heartbreak and loss.

Earth-3488

Purgatory

When one visited Purgatory in the Canadian Rockies, they became used to some odd sights in the town. It wasn't just the surprisingly high homicide rate for a place this small. Or how it seemed to go from winter weather straight into summer with no stops for spring or fall. Or the foreboding feeling of something just not right with the entire place.

No, it would be the fact that somehow, both the ample number of strip clubs and the local bar were open in the middle of the day on a Sunday. But somehow, they also seemed to do great business.

Such a regular face was the woman slamming down a bottle of whiskey and wiping her chin. She was strikingly good-looking with brown hair falling to her shoulders. Her outfit was unique with dark leather pants and a leather jacket over a t-shirt hiked up enough to show her mid-riff. At the breast of the jacket was a sheriff's badge while what looked like an old-fashioned Colt revolver was at a holster at her hip.

The man behind the bar raised an eyebrow at her. He looked for all the world like he'd stepped off the frame of a Western movie with a large coat over his frame, a perfect cowboy hat on his head and a thick handlebar mustache across his handsome face. "Not even back in town five minutes and you're already back in the groove," he said in a classic drawl.

"Nothing like a Purgatory Proto Bomb to get me going in the morning," Wynonna Earp smirked as she downed another drink. She smiled as Doc Holiday ("yes, as in the Doc Holiday" as he was fond of telling people) mixed up a drink of his own to sip. "Not like you're cutting back, Doc."

"I was a vampire for a bit, darling, I have catching up to do."

Wynonna was about to kiss him when the door to the bar opened. She turned, smiling to see her sister Waverly entering with a wave. The bright and chipper woman with her lighter brown hair moved to hug Wynona. Her outfit was a bit more "girly" than her sister's but still nice with a light blouse and jeans. "About time! We thought you'd be here yesterday!"

"Ah, ran into a demon pack on the way in," Wynonna said. "Had to do some cleaning afterward."

"Oh, I bet," Waverly winked. By her side, her wife, Nicole Haught nodded to Wynonna, still clad in her usual police uniform with her red hair done up in a bun. "And by the way, just how long is my girl going to be acting sheriff?"

"Depends," Wynonna remarked. "How much paperwork is piled up?"

Before anyone could speak, they all felt an odd chill washing over them, all instantly sensing something was up. Waverly looked to Nicole and her eyes widened in shock as she saw a wave of grey washing over her. "Nicole?" she gasped, her wife's face in disbelief just before she vanished into dust.

Waverly whirled to Wynonna, about to speak before she saw her fingers start to come apart. She looked at Wynonna to see the same ash color moving up her legs. Instinctively, the sisters embraced each other, still holding tight as their bodies came apart, the ashes of the pair seeming to mingle before drifting away.

Left in the silent bar, Doc Holiday, for the first time in memory, felt himself instantly sober and without a thing to say.

Earth-19999

Today

"Stop touching the dial."

"It's a button, not a dial."

"Doesn't matter, don't touch it."

A pause and then a hand reached forward only to be smacked away to a loud yelp.

"I like my music how it is," Kate Bishop said as she brushed back her long black hair and examined the road before her. She wore a simple dark blue shirt with a matching jacket and jeans, looking rather stylish as she drove along. Next to her, Yelena Belova grumbled as she adjusted herself in her seat, her slacks and blouse somehow managing to look like a uniform on her.

"I still would prefer to drive," Yelena grumbled.

"Let's see, whose car is this, oh, yes mine," Kate announced. "Who pays for the gas? Me. Who pays for snacks? Me."

"I can always steal the snacks."

"I think you're missing a key point here."

Yelena adjusted her seat again. "Why are we driving anyway? You're rich, you can take a jet!"

Kate sighed. "We only have one jet."

"That you say that as a complaint summarizes many problems with you."

Kate continued. "Which my mom controls and not sure she'd be open to taking it to see Clint Barton."

"You can just say one of his names, you know, not both."

Kate went on. "So just taking a quick ride, she buys it's for a girl's trip which in a way it is."

Yelena raised an eyebrow. "Really?"

"Sure, come on, two of us heading to see the best archer alive, that's a great trip!"

Yelena leaned back in her seat. "At least can get better music..."

"I like this song!"

"Again, much about you is explained..."

Before Kate could respond, a blur came across the road in front of them. She yelped as she twisted the car through the cloud of dust that had suddenly appeared, Yelena also crying out before Kate was able to pull it to the side of the road. The pair got out, Yelena already alert as she and Kate stared at the clouds of dust that slowly began forming into shapes.

Kate let out a gasp as she saw the dust forming together. It was slow at first before the clouds began to take very distinct shapes. All were female, two of them in an embrace with another, an attractive redhead, forming before them. The other two slowly came to be next to them, blinking in confusion at what happened.

The shorter brunette of the group looked around in confusion. "Okay...either Trick did a massive rehaul in record time or this is not the Dal." She looked at the leather-clad brunette and moved to embrace her friend. "Oh, shit, Bo, you're here too!"

"Yeah...yeah, I am. Wherever here is." The woman called Bo hugged her. Nearby, the brown-haired woman was moving to embrace and kiss the redhead, the two clearly happy to be together while her companion looked around in confusion. "See, I'm used to waking up in strange places but I can at least remember the fun of getting drunk first."

A coughing sound got their attention and they all turned to see Kate and Yelena by the car. "Um, hi?" Kate asked. "I'm just, ah...I'm Kate Bishop, this is my friend Yelena. Um...welcome back?"

"Back?" Bo asked, blinking. "Back from what?"

"Well, given what happened, I guess you guys got Blipped," Kate said. "Or Dusted or Snapped, the terms sort of vary on who you talk to." She saw their baffled looks. "Okay, short story, some freaky alien named Thanos got hold of these cosmic gems, used them to wipe out half the universe."

"I was one of them," Yelena said. "It wasn't fun."

Kate waved it off. "So, heard some folks came back later than others, guess you guys are among them."

She was met by five sets of blank stares. Then, the leather-clad brunette pulled a revolver out of her jacket and aimed it at Kate. "You got five seconds to come up with a better story than that."

Yelena was alert as Kate backed toward the car's trunk. "It's true! Don't worry, the Avengers managed to fix it."

"The who now?" Bo asked. Kate and Yelena paused to see the same confused looks on the faces of the others. "Avengers?" Kenzi called out. "As in that weird British show from the '60s?"

"Movie was crap," Waverly announced with Kenzi nodding in agreement.

"Okay, first, let's get introductions," the shorter brunette said. "This is Bo, and I'm her platonic life partner, Kenzi." She waved at the group. "And you?"

The gun-wielding woman paused. "Wynonna Earp."

"No, seriously, what's your name?"

Wynonna waved to the other two women. "My sister, Waverly, her wife Nicole." She paused to study Bo. "You look very familiar."

"Trust me, I'd remember meeting you." Bo couldn't help but let her eyes rove over Wynonna's body while Kenzi rolled her own eyes. Wynonna frowned in a mixture of confusion and flattery.

Waverly looked around. "Just where are we? This isn't Purgatory."

"Purgatory?" Kenzi snorted. "I figured I'd get there in the end."

"Ah, Ohio," Kate announced. "Halfway toward Kansas. We were on a road trip when we spotted you undusted."

Wynonna was still holding up the gun. "I'm still not buying this whole bullshit."

Moving fast, Kate reached into the backseat of her car to pull out her bow. "It's the truth okay?"

"Okay, easy Wilma Tell," Kenzi said, holding up her hands.

"Listen, you and your friends..."

"Well, we're not friends…" Kenzi began.

In a flash, Kate had her bow up with an arrow knocked into it. Even faster, Yelena had a pistol in her hands aimed at Wynonna.

"Yet, we are not friends yet."

"Oh, shit," Waverly muttered as Nicole reached to pull out her own gun, backing up Wynonna. Kenzi leaned in to Bo. "Bo-Bo, I think perhaps your, ahem, special skill set, is called for here?"

Bo nodded, looking to Wynonna and carefully reaching to put a hand on her wrist. "Listen, maybe we should just calm down..." As she touched, a shimmer of blue flowed from her hand onto Wynonna's. The woman shivered as a wave of peace came over her, blinking a bit. "See, just calm down..."

"Glowing eyes!" Waverly screamed, seeing Bo's eyes taking on a too-bright blue tint. "Wynonna, wake up, glowing eyes!"

Nicole had her gun aimed at Bo, who backed up with her hands raised. Wynonna shook her head to clear it before aiming her pistol at Bo's face. "Oh, no, you don't get to do that without at least buying a drink first!" The tip of the pistol seemed to glow in the light.

An arrow streaked through the air and Wynonna yelped as her pistol was knocked out of her hand. Kate already had another bow aimed as Yelena's gun was on Nicole. "Okay...okay, that was weird, I'll grant but shooting is not an answer!" Kate yelled. "And yes, I realize this comes right after I shot an arrow at you but my point should still stand!"

Wynonna glared at her, then at Bo. "What the hell are you?"

Bo sighed. "Complicated."

"How much, Blue Eyes?" Waverly demanded. "Are you some demon?"

"Demon, no, I'm not a demon, I fight demons for a living!"

"Well, living is a pushing it," Kenzi muttered. "We haven't really gotten that much cash lately.."

"Kenzi, not important now."

"Sorry."

Wynonna was still glaring at Bo, then at the gun lying on the ground. "Don't," Kate warned, still holding her bow steady.

Wynonna glanced at Bo. "Listen, Nancy Sinatra..."

"That makes no sense, her dad was Old Blue Eyes!"

"Shut up, I'm making an analogy!"

"Yeah, a crap one!"

Wynonna went on, waving at Bo. "Point is, this gal here is the threat, not me! So how about I get my boots made for walking over her ass before I grab that bow out of your hands, little girl."

"I'm 19!"

"Hey!" Nicole yelled, her gun still held at Kate. "We want answers!"

Yelena had her own gun aimed with Nicole aiming back as Kenzi was hoping no one had the bad timing to sneeze right now. "Which we can give you if you just drop the gun."

"Not dropping until you drop first."

"And she doesn't mean the panties," Wynonna added.

Waverly rubbed her hands. "Can we get back to just how we were turned to dust and then back because I'm still wrapping my head around that."

Before anyone could speak, there was a loud booming sound. Turning, they saw what appeared to be a star-shaped portal open, the crackling of energy around it sparking the air. Emerging was a teenaged woman, her dark hair in a ponytail, clad in jeans and a blue jacket with a star insignia on the back.

She rolled on the ground, wincing as she rolled up to her feet. She took in the pack of women all giving her baffled looks and swallowed. "Ah...sorry, just, um passing through." She brushed at her clothes, adjusting her jacket as she looked around. "Welp, at least solid shapes here, that's an improvement."

The various women looked at each other, all united in absolute bafflement at what had just happened and the teenager's blasé reaction to erupting from a hole in the air. "Can we...help you?" Kate asked for lack of anything else to say.

"Ah, no, like I said, just passing through," the girl replied. "Oh, sorry, name's America Chavez."

"Riiiiiight," Yelena said in a dry voice. "And you just...appear out of giant stars in the sky?"

"It's a bit complicated," the woman replied. She glanced at her watch. "Okay, sorry to make this fast, but I have to get going." She backed up and threw out a punch at the open air. Her eyes and fist flashed and once again, a bright star-shaped portal opened before them all.

The rush of air was as before only this time coming toward the portal. America yelped in surprise. "Oh, shit, it's one that sucks you in! Everyone, brace yourselves!"

Kenzi yelped as she felt herself lifted off her feet, reaching to grab Bo's hand. Bo tried to pull but was pulled along herself.

As she felt herself being tugged, Kate grabbed a specific arrow from her quiver. Despite the howling wind, she was able to fire it out, allowing a long cable to drag behind it. "Everyone grab on!" she yelled as she took the end of it wrapped around her bow. On instinct, each woman grabbed the cable, holding it tightly as it, and they, were pulled into the portal.

Yelena set her teeth, having been through interdimensional travel with the Doctor but it was a lot different this time. She felt her insides twisted about, her body feeling both freezing cold and boiling hot. She was unable not to yell but at least she wasn't alone as the rest of the women were joining her in howls at the experience.

In a burst of light, they passed through the barriers into another world.

Earth-1937

Storybrooke

She felt it before she heard it. For one as powerful in magic as her, the opening of a portal into this realm was a major shift. She rose up from her desk in the mayor's office, pacing to look out the window at Storybrooke. The small coastal hamlet, which looked like any other in the world, was quiet now but she knew what was coming. And how it might shift things up.

A knock on the door got her attention. "Enter." She saw the black-haired woman in the expensive yet stylish business suit step inside. "Madam Mayor?" she said in a calm voice. "I just wanted to check, I was working and...felt something."

"Yes...something is coming," the Mayor of Storybrooke said. She tapped her fingers on the table. "I would suggest getting Sherrif Swan on standby."

The woman frowned. "You think dangerous?" She paused and snorted. "What am I saying, it's coming through the barriers, of course it's going to be dangerous."

"Yes, it might well be," the Mayor replied. "So get to it fast, Regina."

"Yes, Mayor Amora," Regina Mills said, nodding her head as she headed out. As she did, the woman known on another Earth as Amora the Enchantress gazed out the window. She reached to her desk, picking up the small purple stone and turned it over in her hands, musing on what these visitors might bring to her town.

"Oy vey with the poodles," Kenzi moaned as she slowly sat up. She was rubbing her head, having landed hard in a pile of garbage bags in an alleyway. The other women were also strewn about with Bo having landed right on top of Wynonna. The pair looked at each other before a distinctive "click" filled the air. "Yes, that is a gun in your belly and I'm not happy to see you," Wynonna snapped.

Bo rose to her feet as Kate groaned herself as she stood up. "Where the hell are we now?"

America looked around. "Not sure but don't worry, we won't be staying long." She stepped forward, peering at the air. "Okay, still residual link so I can reopen a portal to your world, send you all back."

Before anyone could stop her, she punched at the air...and nothing happened. America frowned deeply as she punched again and again but each time to no effect at all.

"Unless you're doing weird tae bo, don't think that's working, lady," Waverly said.

America looked at her fist as she frowned. "That's...weird...it's like I'm being blocked somehow..."

She was cut off by a moan as Bo held a hand to her midsection where she had landed on a loose piece of pipe thrown out. She lifted up her fingers to see them stained with blood. "Ah, dammit."

Kenzi was at her side immediately. "Shit, Bo, you okay?"

"It's okay, not too deep," Bo intoned. "I just need..a boost." She looked around at the various women, seemingly weighing her options. "Okay, may regret this but..." She reached to Wynonna and yanked her into a kiss.

Kate and Yelena simply stared with bemusement while Waverly and Nicole gawked. Wynonna seemed ready to punch back only to feel herself give in a bit. Bo broke off the kiss, backing up and as she did, what looked like a blue wisp of energy flowed from Wynonna's mouth into hers as her eyes shifted to a nearly solid blue.

"What the K.D. Lang meets Lifeforce is this?!" Waverly demanded. Bo let Wynonna go, the woman stumbling back into her sister's arms. Bo shivered as she lifted her shirt, allowing them all to watch as the wound on her mid-section slowly knit itself back together and began to fade.

"That was...different," Yelena had to admit. Wynonna, to the utter lack of surprise of Waverly and Nicole, was already fumbling for her gun with Waverly stopping her while Kenzi took a protective step before a recovering Bo.

"Yep, that's it, time to shoot someone!" Wynonna yelled.

Nicole tried to hold her back. "Wynonna, don't go half-cocked..."

"I"m going full cocked! Only on a woman! You know what I mean!"

"Okay, okay, let's calm down," Kate said, stepping between the two groups. "Listen, we obviously need to clear the air on...stuff. So maybe we all get something to eat, in public where threats of violence are low-level?"

She looked out into the street to see a diner across the way with the sign "Granny's" on top. "Okay, see, a diner, that's nice, that's quiet, that's..."

"Screw it, let's see if this place has a bar," Wynonna growled as she brushed past Kate.

"Or we could do that, fine."

As it happened the place did have a bar which was already filling up as dusk was beginning to fall upon the town. Boasting the odd name of "Aesop's Tables", it wasn't too large but the women were able to file into a booth near the rear. Less by design, Kate and Yelena found themselves pushed between the two sets of formerly Dusted women who were glaring at each other.

A waitress came up to them, looking bright and chipper. "Hi, can I get..."

"Vodka, beer, wine, your entire gamut of alcohol" Kenzi interrupted. "A lot of it and keep it coming."

"It's fine," Kate said. "I still have my credit cards."

As the woman walked off, Yelena raised an eyebrow. "You realize this isn't our world? So ten to one your cards won't work."

Kate blanched. "Really wish I'd thought of that."

Wynonna glared at Bo. "Fine, I usually wait until I've got drinks to ask this question but here goes. What the hell are you?"

Bo leaned back in her seat with a deep sigh. "Okay...this is going to sound weird but...I'm a succubus."

Wynonna immediately began fumbling for her gun with Waverly grabbing her arm. "This isn't Purgatory, we can't just shoot people in a bar!"

"We don't know that's not normal behavior in this world!"

Her sister gave her that glare that had Wynonna sighing. "Oh, fine."

As she settled into her seat, Bo went on. "Before you ask, I don't kill people...I mean...not deliberately. Or if I do, they're not undeserving."

"Really not helping curb the homicidal impulse," Wynonna noted.

Bo went on. "I feed on someone's chi, their life force for lack of a better word. That allows me to heal wounds, like you saw. Also, I can use it to, um...sway someone to being open to what I say."

"So you feed on people and control minds, okay, so we're settled you're dead as soon as I have a few drinks."

"Hey!" Kenzi broke in. "Don't go judging her! She saved my life! Some creep at a bar drugged me and Bo took care of him. We've been friends ever since."

Waverly raised a hand. "So are there...more of you?"

"My kind? Yes, we're called Fae. A lot of those legends and myths you've heard about over the years are all based on us. They're generally divided into Dark or Light, I chose neither."

Nicole looked to Kenzi. "And you? You some Fae?"

Kenzi waved a hand. "Nah, just regular human. Well, also small-time thief, pickpocket, con artist, nothing major. That's cool, right?"

Nicole looked at her. "I'm a cop."

Kenzi slowly nodded. "Okay...sure...let's just ignore everything I just said."

Bo looked to Wynonna. "So...what's your story? Because where we come from, old-fashioned revolvers don't tend to glow."

The woman was silent before answering. "You got my last name, right?"

"Yeah, Earp." It took a moment before Bo's eyes widened. "Wait...as in...Wyatt Earp?"

Kenzi frowned. "Wait, that guy Kurt Russell played in that movie? He was real?"

"He was," Wynonna answered. "Only he didn't just kill outlaws, he killed demons too." She held up the gun. "Peacemaker has been passed down through the generations and lucky me, I got it." She narrowed her eyes at Bo. "So, seeing you are a supernatural creature..."

"Can we put a cork on the shooting people while we're in public?" Kate snapped. She looked to Waverly. "And you?"

"Um...kinda complicated?"

"Define complicated."

"My dad was an angel."

"And we're stopping this talk right now."

Thankfully, at that point, the waitress came by with their drinks. Before she even had them fully set down, Wynonna had downed nearly her entire glass of beer. "More and keep them coming." The woman nodded as she headed off.

Yelena looked to America. "Which brings us to you and how you evidentially got us into this mess."

American blanched. "Yeah, I am sorry for that." She leaned back in her seat. "The short version..."

"Oh, thank you for that."

"I have this...power. I'm not sure how I got it or sometimes how it full works but basically, I can cross through to alternate realities. Worlds where things are different, some bigger than others." She pointed to Bo and Kenzi. "I can tell, you two are from a different world." She nodded to Wynonna, Waverly and Nicole. "You three are from another. That Blip or Dusting or such? That's been causing folks to somehow get shunted to other worlds. I'm guessing it happened to you guys."

"Wait, alternate Earths?" Kenzi snorted. "What, one where the Blue Jays actually win a game?"

America smirked. "Ones where the Montreal Expos are basically the New York Yankees. Or ones where Earth is in ruins from war or it's a utopia or ones where It's a literal cartoon. I've seen a bunch that would blow your mind."

"And you just...bounce around for no reason?" Kate asked.

"Ah, it's a little more complicated," America explained. "It took a bit for me to get a handle on it and I'm...well, I've got a personal stake looking for someone who means a lot to me. But since the Blip, it's gotten a bit wilder." She frowned. "That's without the fact some realities...well, let's just say it gets messy."

"So you can get us back?" Bo pressed. "Because I just realized a few folks back there thinking I was dead."

"And Doc can't be too happy," Waverly pointed out to Wynonna who blanched.

"And I'll gladly do it," America said. "Except there's some sort of energy around her keeping me from opening a portal. Trying too hard and I could accidentally tear a hole between realities, cause an incursion of one on the other and trust me, you don't want to see that."

Yelena sipped her drink. "All right, so we're stuck in this town for a while. We need to find a place to lie low for a time, regroup and then figure out what kind of place this is."

Nicole raised an eyebrow at her professional talk. "You're clearly used to stuff like this."

"I get around," Yelena brushed off.

"Oh, then you'll fit in with Bo," Kenzi mused. Bo herself was unable not to look over Yelena, admiring her nice form as her friend rolled her eyes.

"As flattered as I am of being sized up, try your little succubus tricks and you're losing a hand," Yelena snapped.

Instead of looking afraid, Bo just smiled. "Hmm...can't be that hard finding a spell to grow it back..."

Yelena narrowed her eyes. "If seeing me naked was the last thing you ever saw, would it be worth it?"

Bo smirked. "One way to find out..."

Kate shuffled uncomfortably in her seat. "Okay, while I may not be a minor, this is getting a little icky so how's about we talk about strategy?"

"I'm sorry, just what is it you do again?" Wynonna asked. "Aside from a love for Robin Hood stories?"

"Oh, like I said, Kate Bishop. Hopefully, future Avenger."

"You won't be," Yelena flatly said.

"As soon as Hawkeye trains me..."

"He won't."

"You don't know that!"

"I keep my expectations in life low, avoids disappointment."

"Well, that's a bad attitude," Kenzi said as she sipped more of her drink.

"What about you?" Nicole asked Yelena. "What do you do?"

"Oh, former assassin," Yelena replied in a natural tone. "Actually, more lapsed than former and in my defense, wasn't in control of my actions for much of it."

Bo looked to Wynonna. "Okay, you give me shit on my feeding, she's an assassin!"

"Yes but frankly she scares me more than you do." Yelena appeared to be pleased at that observation.

"Excuse me." The group looked up at the woman standing before them. She was an attractive lady with long dark blonde hair, wearing jeans and a bright red leather jacket. A badge was pinned to it as a gun was in its holster and a stance several of the ladies found very familiar. "Emma Swan, I'm the sheriff of Storybrooke."

"Storybrooke?" Wynonna laughed. "You're kidding me, right?"

Emma raised an eyebrow. "So you didn't know what town you were coming to. That's interesting." She crossed her arms. "Listen, we don't get that many visitors here. And the ones we do...they rarely have our best interests in mind."

"Maybe you need a better tourism board," Bo dryly said.

Emma narrowed her eyes. "I'm trying to be nice here but I'm going to have to ask you all to come with me to the station."

Kenzi sighed as she looked at her watch. "Welp, only took about twenty minutes to get hauled off, that's a new record for me."

Nicole held up her hands carefully to show her own badge. "Listen, I'm a cop too...granted, from a ways off...but I can assure you, we're not here to cause trouble and we're hoping to move on fast."

"Problems, Sherriff?" called the woman behind the bar. She appeared to be in her 40s but attractive with a sharp nose, a mischievous smile and lush dark hair, clad in a classic barmaid outfit that fit her well.

"Got it handled, Agnes," Emma called out. "But thanks."

"Sure? I mean, it's a little dull here but beats heading back home to all the kids..."

"I said, it's fine." Emma sighed to the others. "Sorry, she was basically the Little Old Lady Who Lived in the Shoe back home, now crammed into a small space again."

She saw the puzzled reactions of the group and waved a hand. "Never mind, listen, it's a long day, I've got the mayor on my ass, I don't need any more grief."

To Kenzi's utter lack of surprise, Bo automatically leaned over in her seat at Emma mentioning her rear end and she shoved her back. Kate just blinked as she looked to Yelena. "Should I be worried I feel slightly insulted I'm the one woman she hasn't been checking out?"

"You're a bit young for me," Bo explained. She hiked a thumb at America. "She's younger."

"You don't know that!" America blurted. "For all you know, I could be a hundred years old!"

"You're not." They all looked to Emma. "Trust me, I know a person older than they look when I see them."

"Emma?" The sheriff turned to see a trio of people enter. One was Regina, her expensive suit standing out amid the residents of the bar. The other was an attractive woman who appeared under 40 with short dark hair clad in a white blouse with matching pants walking next to a handsome blonde-haired man in jeans and a jacket over his shirt. "You okay?" the other woman said.

"I'm fine," Emma assured her. "Just chatting with these visitors."

"Okay, just making sure, Killian was hoping you'd be home soon"

Emma rolled her eyes. "He can't work the blender again, can he?"

"You know him."

"And he's using the hook as the excuse."

"Again, you know him."

"Mom, I'm fine, okay?"

"Wait...mom?" Waverly took in the woman who barely looked a couple of years older than Emma. "Okay, I seriously want your skin cream. Or the name of your plastic surgeon."

"Nah, that's all natural," Bo stated. "Believe me, I'm used to recognizing a lady with work done."

"She's had enough hands-on experience to count for her own walk-in clinic," Kenzi confirmed.

The other man looked at the group in confusion. "No idea where they came from?"

"David, let her handle this," the other woman told him.

"Sorry, old habits."

"Let's just get this done fast? I need to plan the next lessons for the kids tomorrow."

Regina stepped next to Emma, crossing her arms and letting her eyes coldly wash over the group. "As Ms. Swan has no doubt already made clear, we're a bit wary of strangers in this town. So best to fess up now."

The other woman rolled her eyes. "Regina, you know you're not the mayor anymore, right?"

"Quiet, Mary Margaret, let the authorities of this town handle this."

"Again not the mayor!"

"A temporary situation, I assure you. Amora may be capable but I'm confident I can get back into the saddle again."

"You and horse riding don't have the best record."

"Yes, well, someone made stables a very sore subject for me."

"I was ten!"

"Always that excuse..."

"What kind of drama have we walked into?" Waverly asked her sister. Wynonna handled it her usual way by downing more of her drink.

Emma looked back at the group. "Once more, I want some answers fast."

Behind them, Agnes was moving behind the bar with a tray of glasses toward a table of several burly men. Wynonna was rising to her feet, looking at Emma with a stern expression. "Listen, I'm a sheriff too, I get the whole deal flaunting the authority and I have to say, you are rocking that jacket, I mean that sincerely." She looked to Regina. "You and the suit, the jury is still out."

"Hey!" Regina snapped.

Wynonna looked over her shoulder. "Jury, does it work for her?" A series of shakes of the head followed and Wynonna looked to Regina. "Sorry, the verdict is in."

Regina's eyes flared. Literally, a spark of energy in them as Wynonna jumped back. "Oh, crap, it's an eye glow!"

Waverly threw up her hands. "Of course, demon town!"

Once more Wynonna had her pistol up, the tip of it glowing in the bar light. Emma had her own gun up and ready while Regina flexed a hand and a ball of fire ignited in it. "Oh, shit, it's freaking Firestarter!" Kenzi groaned.

Yelena seemed less alert and more annoyed at the sight of a woman with a fireball in her hand while Kate was swallowing. Bo and Kenzi were also less impressed by the sight than a normal pair would be as Bo rose up, her hands up. "Now, let's all just calm down here, okay?"

She reached to put a hand on Regina's arm, that mild glow coming to the other woman. Regina seemed to shiver before a goofy smile came to her face. "Um…sorry, what was I saying?"

"You were going to calm down, right?" Bo asked. She reached to touch Emma, who shivered before the same serene look came to her face. "I mean it, we can calm and…"

At that moment, Agnes appeared to trip, sending a couple of glasses of drinks spraying over Emma and Regina. The two women blinked, snapping out of the odd trance they had been in. Regina's eyes flared again while Emma had her gun up and aimed at Bo. "Back up, now."

Kenzi felt the need to stand up for her friend. "Easy, here, okay? Look, I get it, Bo can come on strong, that's her charm but she means well..."

"Aside from the feeding on people," Wynonna muttered.

"Feeding?" Emma's gun aimed at Bo. "Okay, that's it, all of you up, hands up!" It was clear she was fighting the bizarre attraction she'd felt with Bo moments earlier. Regina was also glaring for the same reason as the other women were taken aback.

"Hey, whoa on this," Kate felt the need to chime in, her own hands raised as she came toward Emma. "We've had...a rough day, some of us more than others. We really don't know where exactly we are but we don't want any trouble with anyone."

Emma still glared at her. "Just hands over your head." She moved to grab Kate who, by instinct, grabbed her arm. The two pulled at each other with Kate trying to turn away. Emma grabbed her by the shirt collar and began pulling. There were a series of tearing sounds as Kate spun about, her clothing peeling off of her to reveal her wearing a dark purple jumpsuit with black streaks over it and a compound bow attached to her back along with her quiver.

Emma just stared blankly at the set of torn clothing in her hand as the others gawked at a slightly embarrassed Kate. "Wait," Yelena began, staring with an open jaw. "Have you...have you been wearing that...under a tearaway outfit...since we started this trip?"

"No!" Kate immediately barked. At Yelena's glare, she swallowed. "Maybe..."

"No wonder your bathroom breaks took so long!"

Agnes was moving to another table, handing over some drinks to a pack of burly-looking men, a couple of whom were wearing horn-shaped caps. Kenzi sighed as she raised up her hands. "Great, just great, busted by a cop and it can't even be Bo's hot Valkyrie ex."

"Valkryie?!" The group turned as the men at the other table rose up, their expressions stern. "You know a Valkryie?"

"Oh, great, the Vikings are already drunk," Mary Margaret muttered.

"Vikings?" Kate blurted.

The men began stalking toward Bo, their faces showing a lot of anger. "Any who stand with the Valkryie are not to be trusted!"

"Terrific, even here Tamsin gets us in deep shit," Kenzi muttered.

Emma held up her hands. "Guys, I'm handling this, ok? Just back up..."

The door to the bar burst open as a pack of figures stormed in. All wore some ragged clothing with an oddly nautical theme to it, several with rings, bandannas and other items out of some familiar movies. At the head was a man in a dark red cloak, a large captain's hat on his head and his face marked with a long and bushy black beard.

"Where is he?" the man snarled out. "Where is that miserable little son of a sea hag Captain Hook? Blackbeard's come a long way to settle some scores with him!"

"Oh for the love of..." Emma moaned, a hand to her head.

The man named David rolled his eyes. "Of course, Jones' past rears its ugly head."

Blackbeard unsheathed a large scabbard and pointed it at Emma. "You! Wench!"

"Oooooh, I just know that was the wrong thing to say," Waverly moaned.

The head of the men claiming to be Vikings pointed at Blackbeard. "Listen, we were here first!"

"And I'm here second and I have more men and weapons so that wins the day!" Blackbeard snapped. He moved toward Emma. "I want Hook here now!"

"Hook?" Kenzi asked. "Too much to hope this is a pro wrestling show?"

"They have better outfits," Waverly answered her.

Blackbeard lunged forward with his sword. Before anyone knew it, Yelena was there, grabbing him by his arm and sending him flipping through a nearby table. "And the shit's about to fly," Waverly summarized.

With a collective roar, the other pirates began wading in to fight with the Vikings. Emma was raising her gun but had to duck a sword thrust by one pirate before Wynonna belted him in the face. Yelena was leaping out to nail two pirates with flying kicks before grabbing another into a bear hug.

Kate was racing to her feet, kicking at one pirate and dodging another's blows. She punched another, wincing at the pain in her knuckles as she turned to throw a punch that caught Yelena in the chin. The blonde appeared more annoyed than actually hurt. "What was that?!"

"I...don't know," Kate admitted before she was tackled onto the table by a pirate. The man was grabbing at her before Kenzi smashed a glass over his head. Waverly had grabbed a chair to smash into a pirate while Nicole was using her training to slam another into a wall.

Wynonna was kicking a Viking back, raising up Peacemaker only for Emma to knock it away. "No guns!"

"You have one!"

"Sherrif!"

"Me too!"

"Not here!"

"Technicality!"

Regina was raising her hands, balls of flame in each. Before she could do anything, Waverly tackled her down. "No way gonna let you make it worse, demon lady!"

"I'm not a demon!"

"Exactly what a demon would say!" Regina snarled and flexed her hands, Waverly yelping as a wave of energy sent her flying back. Regina was sitting up only to find Nicole moving to her with her gun. "No one messes with my wife!" She belted Regina in the face with the woman gasping before waving a hand to send Nicole flying right back at Waverly.

America was rolling on the ground to avoid a stomp from a Viking and then yelped at a sword from a pirate nearly piercing her ear. She spun to throw out a kick that knocked both back before rising up, wishing to hell her punches had their usual oomph to them.

Mary Margaret charged in to push Nicole back, showing surprising strength. She saw a pirate coming at her to grab him by the arms, giving him a kick and yanking away his sword. Giving it a spin, she began dueling with Blackbeard.

"The student body in this town must be fascinating," Bo mused as she punched a Viking. David was handling another while Emma was grunting as she punched a third one. She finally got on the table, unholstering her gun and firing a trio of shots in the air. "Okay, that's it! Everyone here who is not my parents or the former mayor are now under arrest! You have the right to remain silent-"

"Good idea," Wynonna snapped, kicking the table to send Emma flopping to the ground. As the chaos of the brawl continued, Agnes simply stood behind the bar, whistling softly as she cleaned some glasses.

"Welp...here's another fine mess someone's gotten us into."

Kenzi's words echoed through the jail cell she, America and Bo occupied. Wynonna, Waverly and Nicole were stuck in another while Kate and Yelena were in the third. Notably, Bo had her hands cuffed behind her back to a pipe. Yelena was not only handcuffed but her feet shackled to a chain attached to the floor and a chained collar about her neck.

Kate looked at her, then off to where Emma sat behind the desk. "You really need all that?"

Emma looked up at her, glaring as best she could with one eye nearly swollen shut. "Considering the first cuffs I tried she was out of in fifteen seconds, I think that's called for."

Kate glared at Yelena. "You just had to show off..." Yelena simply shrugged.

Bo shuffled in her seat, flexing her hands against the cuffs. "Don't bother," Regina said. She was leaning back on the office couch with an icepack to her head. "Those cuffs are enchanted to make sure you don't try your little tricks again."

"I hate magic" Yelena muttered.

"Not a fan either," Waverly confirmed.

Wynonna glared at the evidence drawer where Peacemaker was being kept. "Just to let you know, you try to use my gun...it's not gonna go well with you."

"Trust me, I've gotten enough experience with magical artifacts to recognize that," Emma said.

Nicole was leaning against the cell bars. "Hey, what about the pirates and the Vikings and that's a combination I didn't think I'd be using in a non-sports context."

"The pirates are under house arrest on their ship with my dad watching," Emma intoned. "The Vikings are sleeping it off. Not the first time had to handle them."

"So they get to roam and we're stuck in the cells?" Waverly demanded. "That's not fair!"

Emma glared at her. "Glowing gun. Glowing eyes with mind-manipulation abilities. Fighting prowess and that one had a bow and arrow on her as well as a couple other weapons. I'm not taking chances with what's clearly the more dangerous group."

Kenzi leaned in toward America. "Ya know, if there's a time for the whole magical portal thingy to come back..."

"You think I haven't been trying?" America hissed back. "It's just not working."

Regina studied the group carefully. "I have to say, you are an interesting pack." She focused on Bo. "Especially you."

The brunette smirked back. "Well, if you wanted a more hands-on examination..."

Emma scoffed. "Boy are you barking up the wrong tree."

"Sure?" Bo purred. "Get the feeling the lady's enjoyed wild ways."

Regina snorted. "Please. Even if I was going to, it'd be someone on my own level."

Emma rolled her eyes. "Ah, yes, I can just see you on some queenly dating reality show."

"Oh and your dating history is tops, right?"

"Oy, get a room already!" Wynonna snapped with Waverly and Nicole nodding in agreement.

"I have a husband!" Emma snapped.

"He know that?"

"Trust me, he does."

Regina chuckled "Ah, to have your parents here to react to that..."

The door to the sheriff's office opened to reveal a stunningly beautiful blonde-haired woman in a suit that did little to hide her curvaceous body. Bo sat straight in her seat with a smile on her face. She wasn't alone as both Waverly and Nicole found themselves automatically checking the woman out. Even the other women had to feel awestruck at the woman's presence.

She looked at them all with a cool gaze before glancing over to Emma. "Sherrif," she said in a crisp tone. "I heard we had an interesting evening."

"We sure did," Emma dryly stated.

The woman looked to the women in the cell to smile. "Amora, Mayor of Storybrooke." Her eyes looked the group over. "Hmm...an interesting gathering."

"Yeah, we're gonna start our own softball team," Kenzi dryly intoned.

Amora looked them over and Wynonna straightened in her seat as she felt an odd wave of power from the woman. "Interesting," she mused, her eyes falling on Bo. "A succubus...been a long time since I saw one of those. But with a human companion." Her eyes glanced toward America. "And you, my dear...That power inside you...now that is something very beneficial to me."

"Ooooh, shit," Kenzi moaned. "She's the bad guy."

Bo winced. "Classic monologue incoming."

"Bad? Such a childish label." Amora said. "I am beyond such petty insults, mortal. I'm beyond more than you can imagine."

Yelena glanced over her shoulder to see how Regina and Emma didn't seem to hear what Amora was saying. Or, worse, they did but otherwise didn't care. She struggled against the cuffs as Amora reached into her pocket. "Now, I know this can be a bit disconcerting but believe me, you'll be grateful for it in the end. Or, rather, I will."

She held up a small purple crystal, whispering under her breath. A wave of purple energy flowed from it, sweeping across the cell. Each of the women let out a light gasp, shaking in place, Bo more than the others. Each of their eyes briefly flared with a tint of purple that faded away before they all blinked.

Amora looked to Emma. "Now, Sherriff, I understand the issues of the damage to the bar and all but I believe that a night in jail will be enough to help these ladies learn their lesson. Don't you agree?"

Emma frowned but shrugged. "I guess. But let Agnes know, she's not happy about the damages."

Amora turned back to the women in the cell with her smile in place. "We'll talk in the morning. I believe you'll be more accommodating to my talk tomorrow." She turned to walk out of the office.

Wynonna blinked a bit before musing. "She seems nice."

"Better than most in this town," Kenzi agreed.

"Not a bad looker either," Bo smirked. "But might be a bit out of my league."

Yelena shuffled in her seat. "At least open to helping us tomorrow. That's a good thing." The others had to not in agreement, finding it far more comfortable being in this situation.

As she left the office, letting out a bright whistle and a chuckle, Amora laughed to herself. "Ah, so wonderful," she mused out loud, an old habit of hers. "A dimensional-breacher under my thrall has such possibilities and her friends." She lifted up the crystal to admire it. "All thanks to this."

She let out another laugh as she walked on, satisfied nothing could stop her rise to a new kingdom.

On the outskirts of Storybrooke, the wind picked up in a way the residents of the town would have found very familiar. A breach in the air opened as two young women strode out of it in confident stances.

They were the same age, looking ready for college...if the college was a fantastic one. One was clad in a bright mix of purple, red and pink, her long purple hair framing an attractive face with deep bright green eyes. Her companion was dressed in a blue outfit that looked almost regal, including a short cape. Her black hair had streaks of blue in it with her own deep piercing eyes.

Behind her lips pulled into a smirk, Mal, daughter of the Maleficent of another world, smiled at her companion. "Welp, back in Storybrooke. Let's see if the town's changed much."

Evie, daughter of her world's Evil Queen, just smiled as she followed. "Ah, come on, Mal. We both know this town can't be too different on each visit."

The pair laughed as they made their way toward the town hall.

So the obvious setup here and don't worry, as you can see, already the next chapter to explain a few things.

And before anyone asks, the numbering for the Lost Girl and Wynonna Earp Earths doesn't really mean anything but having them "right by" each other made sense to me.
