Chapter 1: Prologue

Dear Diary

It's me again, Star Strong.

A lot has happened since the last time I wrote here, but I am happy to say that things are as good as ever in my not-so-average life.

Anyway, here are the basics on what I have been up to lately.

Dad and Solene are still going strong, and my relationship with Mom is still heading in a positive direction. I'm still not ready to fully forgive her yet but we have been getting along, so there's that.

There was that incident with Fifi and Cujo, along with some drama that was caused, no thanks to Jean-Puke but that's a story for another time. What matters now is that things with mom are okay, and Fifi is doing okay now, just in case you were wondering.

Anyway, life has gone on and things are still our version of normal.

Pierre is still my adorable baby brother, and getting cuter each time I see him. He's also learning more words and forming small sentences better. I'm so happy for my adorable baby brother who thankfully does NOT resemble Jean-Puke or his witch of a daughter.

Anyway, things with my friends are also going great so far.

Sam and Tucker are still doing their own thing and Tucker thankfully has still let go of his Nasty Burger obsession and is being more careful with his health.

Thank goodness!

Sam is still the same as always, protesting anything that isn't eco-friendly and avoiding any pink monstrosity that her parents want to make her wear. That, and she's secretly still hoping to find out who her secret admirer is, and I think she and Christopher are getting closer. I saw them going to some nature lovers seminar and they looked like they really had fun together.

I'll be honest when I say that I hope she'll give him a chance. Sure, it be awkward if she dates him and if she one day becomes my cousin-in-law but Christopher really likes her and I do want him to be happy.

Plus, how often will Sam find a guy who is willing to eat "turf-wiches" and literal mud pies like she does anyway?

Valerie is still my best friend ever, and is still helping us dealing with you-know-who in her own way. She's also been un-grounded now, thank goodness.

Things are great, though Val has still been pretty naggy towards me to make sure that I don't repeat any more crash diets like I did that time that I was briefly EMPOWERED.

I love Val like a sister (a real one and not the nightmare that Colette is), but she can be almost as overprotective as Danny can be at times.

Speaking of Danny, we're still going as strong as ever and he's still the best boyfriend ever.

Sure, biggest issue we are dealing with is Colette, who apparently has been acting worst lately, IF that's even possible.

We've also recently had to deal with another envious witch, who thankfully is no longer a threat to us, and unlike Colette, actually seems sorry for the trouble for what she's caused.

As for Colette, I do have some good news for a change.

She's still out of school due to her "health", even though the worst of her allergies have long since been dealt with. She, however, refuses to leave her room due to still having "blemishes" from her "incident" during that long weekend.

I don't really know what really happened to her during that time, and I don't really cared. Still, if it means me and Danny-Boo don't have to deal with her at school and can enjoy our dates without worrying about her ambushing us...then I'm REALLY glad with the set up.

I'm just bummed it can't be permanent.

Speaking of self-absorbed creeps who can't take a hint, we haven't seen or heard from Vlad since the trip to New York.

It's been about 2 weeks since we came back from New York too, but no sign of that creep...not that we're complaining.

We are totally NOT, just to let you know.

Me and Danny can only assume that Puck's still dealing with him. The only hint of his survival is that apparently Vlad "took an unexpected vacation" and no one has seen him since and the deputy mayor is in charge now.

I don't know what grueling, hideous torture that Puck is putting Vlad through, but all I can say is that he probably deserves it and then some.

Anyway, enough about that witch with hair extensions who's too vain to even leave her room due to her skin not being "flawless", and creepy middle-ego megalomaniacs who oversized egos and delusions of grandeur.

I have even better news than that.

That old bat who's name who will no longer be mentioned in my home has left the country and moved all the way to Switzerland, and my sweet grandpa Richard has decided NOT to move with her. They are still technically married, but he thinks that she needs "some time to herself" for her own good.

He probably still had no idea the "arrangement" that Danny and Puck had put on the old bat yet...and it's probably for the best.

Hopefully, some time away from that evil harpy will show my grandpa that he really is better off without her.

And more good news: Nana Joy and Pop-Pop Kirk have moved to Amity Park!

After we traveled to New York to visit them, and after dealing with the Forces of Nature and Vlad's nasty tricks, our family managed to smooth things over, discussed some long ignored issues and mended fences.

Dad and Pop-Pop even finally buried an old hatchet they had, and things have been better between them too.

I'm so happy about that. I couldn't believe it at first, but it really happened. I'm even happier about the fact that Nana and Pop-Pop have just finished their move the other day, having unloaded the rest of their things.

I'm surprised that they managed to sell their old house and get a new one so fast, but I really shouldn't be. When my Nana wants something, she finds a way to make it work.

Now, my favorite grandparents now live about 10 minutes away and I couldn't be happier about that.

Even better, things between Danny and I are getting better too.

We love each other more and more each day, and I don't see that as ever changing. My Danny-boo really is the best thing that's ever happened to me. I love him more and more each day and nothing is ever gonna change that.

Aside from a slightly abnormal life here in Amity Park and dealing with ghosts, jerks and other obstacles, it's all worth it just to be with the best guy ever.

Ghosts, obnoxious step-sisters and envious witches aren't enough to get between us and will never be enough to tear us apart.

That, I can guaranteed.

Star finished writing in her diary and smiled at what she has written.

"And done..."She said before she placed it in her usual hiding spot under her mattress.

The blonde girl smiled, feeling relaxed and happy as she always does after writing in her secret diary. She sighed, recalling the day she had with him today.

Aside from dealing with Paulina and Dash's stupidity, a pop quiz from Lancer, as well as unwanted visits from Klemper and the Box Ghost, it was a wonderful day for them as they spent it together, sharing loving glances, passing notes and sneaking out to make out as much as they can during their free time.

And NOT having to deal with a certain evil witch who wanted to steal her man away from her.

It rocks!

Star blushed as she recalled making out with her man under the bleachers, and how cute he got with her during the whole thing.

It made her smile, but the romantic time with him isn't over yet.

"Better get ready for my boo..."Star thought in a giddy way, as she began to get ready for her date.

Later

Star was getting ready for another wonderful date with her precious, sweet, adorable, wonderful boyfriend.

She fixed up her makeup, hair and was soon ready to leave. There was a knock on her window and she smiled, when she saw a familiar ghost boy there.

She smiled and opened the window.

"Hi, Danny-Boo..."Star said, before kissing him.

"Hi, Starlight..."He said, smiling at her.

He soon picked her up bridal style and soon took off.

As they were in the air, Star smiled at hr beloved boyfriend. She felt so happy and at peace in his arms.

She felt just as much in love with him as ever, and just couldn't stop herself.

"Oh, Danny..."She whispered, which got his attention.

"Yeah?..."He asked, as she just sent him another loving look.

"I love you..."She said, making him smile.

"I love you too..."He said, making her smile more.

They continued their flight, until they arrived to the movie theater for their date. Danny changed to his human form and the two lovesick teens enjoyed a lovely date together, and Star felt simply happy.

"Oh, Danny!~..."She thought with bliss, finding all of this wonderful.

Yes, it really was wonderful.

The blonde teenager smiled, feeling happy as she enjoyed her wonderful date with her wonderful Danny-Boo.

Meanwhile

While Star and Danny were enjoying their date, another girl, who was in a less than fancy neighborhood, was in the privacy of her room right now.

It was Misty Smith-Yang, the local sorceress who was in the middle of something unusual.

Her own family was busy doing their own thing, and she was up to her own thing. Right now, she was looking over her spell book and looking at something that looked like Danny Fenton.

She smiled at the duplicate of the boy of her dreams and the very one whom she is determined to marry one day. She smiled as her hands and eyes glowed.

"Again!..."She said, as both her hands and eyes glowed more.

The image smiled at her in a loving way, though anyone who saw it probably would just say he was hypnotized.

"I love you, Misty..."The image said in a monotone way, though eerily sounded like the dark haired boy.

Misty smiled happily and clasp her hands in joy.

"Oh, Danny!~..."Misty whispered, as lovesick as ever before recalling the reality of the situation.

"If only the real deal would say that!..."She said, somewhat disappointed but not discouraged.

"He will one day, you just have to have faith, my child..."Her spell book said in an almost paternal sort of way.

"Oh, you don't have to tell me twice..."Misty said happily as she went to the image and planted a quick kiss on it, before it vanished.

She sighed.

"At least 30 minutes is better than nothing..."She muttered, still wishing that she had the real thing with her.

Her spell book, on the other hand, seemed happy.

"Your training is coming along marvelously, Misty. That was the longest one yet..."It said.

"Yeah, but I'll only be happy when I hear the real Danny say those words to me..."Misty said.

"Do not worry, my child, As I said, it is written in the stars..."The book said, and Misty smirked.

"I know..."She said, as she went back to her sorcery training.

As Misty continued to practice spells and hexes, her mind went to her one true love...and the blonde rival who still has him.

She frowned.

"Star is probably with him right now...getting to hold his hand and kiss his sweet lips! UGH! I SHOULD BE THE ONE DOING THAT!..."She thought in her, her eyes flashing in envy once more.

She did managed to calm herself down, before smirking all of a sudden.

"No matter...one of these days, Danny will be mine...I know it. It's written in the stars..."She thought, before her eyes flashed back to her natural color.

She continued her spell casting lessons, all the while, thinking of the dark haired boy who was promised to her by fate, and whom she is determined to be with.

No matter what.
