Chapter 31
"I think we've heard enough." Jade said as he lead the group out to the hallway.
"What!?" Jamil exclaimed turning to face the group.
"Finally showing your true colors eh?" Grim smirked.
"We've heard everything through Azul's phone." Jade explained looking very bit the menace the rumors said he was. "It's been live streaming this whole time."
All the students rushed out to the hallway behind the group. "Is it true Jamil?" One called out.
"He's been playing innocent this whole time." Odette snarled glaring at Jamil.
"Who knows how long he's been doing this." Grim snapped mirroring Odette's anger.
"No, that's not true." Jamil objected.
"I think the brainwashed Azul speaks for itself. He's the one the who has been hypothesizing Kalim and causing all this mayhem." Jade said as he walked up to Azul." Jade said pointing at very still Azul.
"I didn't want to do this but you leave me no choice. Azul restrain them." Jamil ordered pointing towards the group.
"Yes Master." Azul said taking towards the group.
"Azul don't do this. Please come to your senses." Jade asked.
Azul took another step towards them with an evil grin on his face.
"It's no use he's under my control." Jamil laughed.
Then Azul turned around and fired a magical water shot at Jamil making him stop. "How?!" Jamil asked.
"To quote you, you shouldn't let your guard down just because you view your opponent as weaker than you." Azul smirked.
"That's because you've learn that the hard way." Floyd volunteered his voice different. It was incredible deep.
"What happened to your voice?" Odette asked raising her eyebrows up to her hairline.
"I made a deal with Azul." Floyd chuckled.
"Once I figured you would try to use your ability on me I made a contract with Floyd to take his signature spell. It redirects spells. So I simply redirected your spell. I was never brainwashed, I just acted like I was." Azul explained.
Kalim takes a step towards Jamil. He looked close to tears. "They're wrong, aren't they? You would never do this. You would never control me. You would never betray me right? Would you?" He asked.
Jamil begins to laugh. "You've always been so friendly and stupid! I hate you! You make me sick and I pray for you to DISAPPEAR!" Jamil then takes a deep breath and tries but fails to composure himself. "For my family I'll do whatever it takes. Snake whisper!" He then began to hypothesize the entire Scarabia student body. "Throw Kalim and the interlopers out." He ordered them.
"How can he control this many people at once?" Jade exclaimed as he began to attack the students who were coming at them.
"He might the best student in out class." Azul said as he knocked back a wall of students.
"I can't fight my own brothers." Kalim cried out pressing his back against the wall.
"Then don't." Odette said as kicked a student away from him. "Just don't hold it against us later. Grim help me keep them away from Kalim." She ordered as she punched someone else in the face.
"Gotcha!" Grim answered breathing fire at anyone who make towards Kalim.
"They're like zombies. They just keep getting back up no matter how many times I squeeze them." Floyd said as he squeezed several students.
"Jamil, please stop this!" Kalim exclaimed from behind Odette and Grim.
"No! Not as long as you exist in this world I can't be happy." Jamil snapped.
'Things are about to get worse.' Odette thought as she moved closer to Kalim.
"If you keep this up you're going to over blot." Jade warned.
"I don't care! I just want to be free." Jamil yelled then his mage stone began to blacken and crack loudly. A black light engulfed Jamil and he emerged changed. He looked similar to the famous sorcerer, Jafar. He had a black turban with a red jewel and feather. His hair flown behind him and looked snake like. He was wearing a red and black traditional dress of his country which he wore gold breast plate, belt and bracelets over. His eyes were glowing red. His over blot magic first formed a viper then turned into a genie behind him.
"That's Jamil?" Grim gasped taking a step back.
"The air feels electric." Odette muttered doing the same.
"Everyone take cover." Azul said pulling Odette, Grim and Kalim to the ground as one of his snake hair slammed into a nearby wall making a dent.
"He has completely lost it." Floyd exclaims as he covered Azul.
"You incompetent king! I have no use for you!" Jamil snarled. "Go to the ends of the earth and never return!" He then stuck them with a magical force strike.
He flung them out of the dorm and into the sky. They flew for several minutes and landed somewhere in the middle of the desert.
"God, I hate flying." Odette muttered as she stared up at the starry sky once they had landed and the dust had settled then sat up.
"Again! This is the fourth time, Why does this keep happening to us?" Grim groaned as she sat up too.
"That was a long flight, jeez he's strong." Floyd gasped as he stood up looking angry.
"Kalim, Kalim." Jade whispered as he shook Kalim awake.
"Ugh." Kalim groaned as sat up.
"It seems we're at the edge of the Scarabia desert and the sun is beginning to set. That's not a problem for us we're use to the cold, Grim has fur, but you two will freeze." Azul said as he took off his trench coat and flung it around Odette.
"We have no way to get back, we have no broom or carpet. We'll have to walk." Jade sighed.
"That's a long time we were flying in the air for awhile." Floyd countered.
"You're voice is giving me the creeps so I'm destroying this contract." Azul said summoning the golden contact and ripping it apart.
"Ahhh." Floyd whined as his normal return to normal.
"I'm surprised you made a deal with Azul. I never would. Not one that would trade my signature spell for something." Jade chuckled.
"I can hear you two." Azul grumbled as he shot them a dirty look.
Kalim began to sob as reality began to dawn on him. "Oh Kalim it's okay." Odette whispered hugging him.
"I can't believe Jamil would do this. What have I done for him to do this?" Kalim whimpered.
"Don't you dare blame yourself for this." Odette said gently placing a hand on his head.
"This is Jamil's fault. He launched us to the end of the desert!" Grim pointed out as he gestured around them.
"They're right. You're being too nice. You should go back and punch him in the face." Floyd said looking annoyed.
"If someone betray me that person would wake up at the bottom of the sea with concrete shoes." Jade explained with an evil grin.
"Jamil betrayed you." Grim repeated.
"Then tried to blame everything on you. You did nothing wrong." Odette added. "He's the absolute worse."
"You should go back and punch him in the face and call him a traitor to his stupid face." Floyd repeated punching his fist into his hand.
"They're right, you've done nothing wrong. You can't help you were born into a higher class status. You grew up to be a good person, a caviler person. It can rub some people the wrong way, oblivious." Azul explained.
"Jamil is a bad person isn't he?" Kalim said.
"Yes!" The group exclaimed.
"Then let's go back so you can tell him to his face." Jade said.
"He deserves that punch and more for making us march to the oasis every morning." Grim grumbled folding his arms over his chest.
"Or for blaming others for his problems." Odette added. "And for flinging us like that."
"His life is in danger through, over blots takes it's toll on their user, right Azul." Jade said looking for at his dorm leader.
"It's true. So we need to hurry back walking will take all night and you two might die before that." Azul sighed as he crossed his arms over his chest. "If there a river that would the quickest way but they're all dried up."
"Water? You need water?" Kalim perking up a bit.
"Yeah." Floyd sighed.
"I can do that. My signature spell can make as much water as you need." Kalim explained.
"Enough to fill a river?" Jade asked looking shocked for a second.
"Oh yes. Oasis marker!" He exclaimed and it began to rain.
"You can make water? That's very useful." Azul said watching as the river began to fill.
"Not usually." Kalim replied with a shrug.
"You could make lots of money by selling water to other countries who have shortages." Azul explained with a grin.
"Azul! That's crossing a line!" Odette snapped giving him the dirtiest look she could. "Kalim don't listen to him on that, it's beyond dirty." She said smiling at Kalim.
"Seems you stuck a nerve there." Grim pointed out to Azul.
'Who does he think he is? Nestle?' Odette thought as she rubbed her temples. 'Wait why did I think that? What the hell?'
Once the river had a decent amount Jade and Floyd wade up to their waists and transformed into their real m forms.
"Come on Kalim, you and Azul will be riding on me. Odette and Grim you'll be riding on Floyd." Jade explained once they resurfaced.
"Why don't you transform?" Odette asked looking at Azul.
"My real form isn't as quick as theirs. This is the fastest way to get back." Azul explained as he wandered into the water.
"Aw okay then." Odette muttered as she followed him. 'Too bad I would have like to see it.'
"Hold on tight, we're gonna go pretty fast." Jade warned them.
They group took off and headed back towards the dorm.
