Chapter 73: The Witch from Mercury
"Zaion-sama."
"Speak, S'btian," Zaion replied, reclining in his chair.
"The reverse engineering process is complete. I have finished retrofitting Yggdrago the Sky Emperor Dragon Tree to your desired specifications, and your new Deck is ready."
"Good. His Majesty the Great King has already been shipped down to Earth. Is Back Jack operational?"
"He is, Zaion-sama. Shall I dispatch him to carry out the mission to seize Ohdo Yuga's technology?"
"Yes, S'btian. See to it."
"Right away, Zaion-sama."

Yuhi gave Chupataro a few pats on his robot's shoulder. "Chupataro, step on it! We're losin' 'em!"
"Hang on, cabra!" Chupataro gave it everything he had.
Damamu laughed and sped up to stay with them.

Menjaburo wrestled his mic back from Makeru. "My! Two Duelists have raced onto the track and interrupted Yuhi-san and Chupataro's Riding Rush Duel! As our guest commentator mentioned, one of our surprise contenders is a robotic…space ghost thing! The other is a mysterious masked woman Duelist! What an unexpected turn of events, de gojaru!"
The female Duelist on the red motorbike was wearing a white mask that fully covered her face.
"The Witch from Mercury…Who the heck is she, chupa?"
"Oh, c'mon! This is General Study all over again! Are Yuamu and I the only ones who don't have face blindness? How can you not recognize someone just because you can't see their cheekbones? It's clearly –!"
"There is only one King! That's me!" Back Jack pointed up, held in the air by his jetpack and rocket boots. "Since you control monsters and I don't, I can summon Big Piece Golem without releasing! Then I activate my Trap Card, Underworld Reinforce, drawing one card and bringing back my Small Piece Golem! Its Level goes up by 1!" (Level 3 ↑ Level 4)
"Epo! It's Level 4 now, epo!"
"With Big Piece Golem and Small Piece Golem out, I can Special Summon Mid Piece Golem! I then send your Equip Magic, Book of Secret Arts, to the Graveyard as a cost, Special Summoning Equip Eater!" (Level 4 DARK Demon/Effect ATK 900 DEF 600)
"Her Equip Magic was eaten!"
"I'm sending my Level 4 Small Piece Golem and my Level 4 Equip Eater to the Graveyard! The ruler's heartbeats will now file through here! Bear witness to its galaxy-shaking power! Special Summon! My soul, Rush Demon's Dragon!" (Level 8 DARK Dragon/Effect ATK 2500 DEF 2000)
"2500 ATK?"
"When I summon a Level 7 or higher monster, I can Special Summon Summon Magnator from my hand!" (Level 3 EARTH Machine/Effect ATK 1000 DEF 600)
"What an incredible summoning chain!" Ranran shouted right into Miranda's camera lens.
"I send Big Piece Golem and Summon Magnator to the Graveyard to Special Summon! And I activate a Trap as well! Resonant Reincarnation! By sending Mid Piece Golem from my field and Rush Resonator from my hand to the Graveyard, I Special Summon another monster from my Graveyard with double Mid Piece Golem's Level!"
"He summoned three Rush Demon's Dragons!"
"Unbelievable, de gojaru!"
"Two cards per Rush Demon's Dragon off the top of my Deck activate their effects! My Rush Demon's Dragons gain 500 ATK, and after they attack a Defence Position monster this turn, I can destroy a Defence Position Monster you control!" (ATK 2500 ↑ ATK 3000)
"Her field and Life Points are going to be toast, chupa!"
"BATTLE! ABSOLUTE KING POWERFORCE!"
"In your dreams! Trap Card, Attack Nullification! Your monster's attack is negated, and you can't declare any more attacks!"
"Cowering behind a shield…Tragic. Turn end!"
"My turn! I draw! It's your turn to debut! Celeb Rose Mage!" (Level 2 LIGHT Spellcaster/Effect ATK 800 DEF 800)
"Celeb Rose?" Yudias caught on…somewhat. "It is certainly true she is using the same cards as Goha Yuna…"
"Who would've thought Yuna-sama's wonderful duelling would inspire a copycat? I'm crying tears of joy into my tsukemen broth, de gojaru!"
Yuhi was dying from everyone's obliviousness.
"During the turn I Normal Summon this monster, if I have Celeb Rose Magician or an Equip Magic Card in my Graveyard, I can activate Celeb Rose Mage's effect! I add Fusion from my Graveyard to my hand!"
"Fusion?"
"Now I'll activate the effect of Celeb Rose Sorcerer! I send Sorcerer, Mage, and Luminous Lady from my field to the Graveyard! Come back, if you please! Celeb Rose Magician!" (Level 7 LIGHT Spellcaster/Effect ATK 2100 DEF 1500)
"Uhuhu," Celeb Rose Magician chuckled on re-entry.
"I summon Light Sorcerer and release him. I Advance Summon Celeb Rose Witch, then activate Fusion! O noble flowers of light! Beware of our elegant thorns! Fusion Summon! Celeb Rose Luxury Magicians!" (Level 10 LIGHT Spellcaster/Fusion/Effect ATK 3200 DEF 1900)
"Huh? She's not Fusion Summoning Celeb Rose Fabulous Magician?"
"Equip Magic, Charis Magic Scepter – Death Wand! Luxury's ATK goes up by 400, and if the equipped monster is a Fusion Monster, that's another 600 ATK up!" (ATK 3200 ↑ ATK 3600 ↑ ATK 4200)
"4200?"
"Time to walk the red carpet again! Luxury's effect fetches Fabulous from the Graveyard!" (Level 9 LIGHT Spellcaster/Fusion/Effect ATK 3000 DEF 2100)
"And what? Celeb Rose Fabulous Magician is in Defence Position! She can't attack!"
"But she has been summoned, which means Luxury's effect continues! Because Luxury is equipped with an Equip Magic Card, Luxury can attack monsters twice this turn!"
"Back Jack has 3000 Life Points! If two of his Rush Demon's Dragons get attacked, he'll take 3400 damage!"
"Celeb Rose Luxury Magicians! Attack his Rush Demon's Dragons!"
"YAHHHHHHH!" Back Jack lost one of his turbo boosters, careening off-road. (Rocket-heeled Back Jack LP 3000 ↓ 0)
The Witch from Mercury stopped her motorbike by the wreckage, and Chupataro pulled up in his scooter with Yuhi, Damamu not far behind.
"Damamu, turn the camera off, chupa!"
"Call an ambulance! Quick!"
"No…He was never alive to begin with."
"The hell is goin' on?"
"He broke in."
"Broke in?"
"To Goha Company. Those are that guy's rockets!"
"They're Yuga's?"
"I was chasing him to get them back! Before he took off, he said he worked for a Ruthless Cheap Space Furniture Store?"
"THE RUTHLESS CHEAP SPACE FURNITURE STORE?"
"Yeah. You know them?"
"They're the creeps who've been browbeating Kamijo Gear Company!"
"Yuhi, what's 'browbeating' mean?"
"No, really! What's with the alias and alien witch getup?" Yuhi ignored Damamu's question.
"You think I'd sit back and not duel until the last minute? The President of Goha Company is an accomplished Duelist, but filling a Rush Battler takes time! Time I barely have as myself, arguing with Asaka on one hand, and Phaser, a.k.a. the one with one brain cell, on the other!"
"That's a conflict of interest! How can a Galaxy Cup organizer compete in the tournament?"
"Chupa! Y-you're Y-Yu –?" Chupataro finally realized.
"Your boyfriend's hopeless."
"Tell me about it."
"HOPELESS!" Damamu banzaied.
"More importantly, somebody sent this! Somebody built Back Jack and sent him to steal that guy's tech, but who? And why?"
