Damian's POV

I know for a fact that I was nonchalantly saying 'blah blah blah' for quite some time, but what I heard really got my attention.

"Master? Me? And why's that?" I filled Roman with loads of question, heh, what a fun way of putting those together.

"As I was saying, when you are yapping off nonsense… I analyzed the data earlier, and it seems that Mash has become your Servant."

"And…?" I leaned a little closer to clarify that.

"Which means that you are Mash's Master, the first Heroic Spirit that you have made contact with." He explained to me.

"And what does that entail?" I asked him.

"Right, I never explained what Masters and Servants are to you. Very well. I'll explain them to you in detail so that you get the gist of it, the current…" all of a sudden, Roman starts becoming static and Mash looks at him.

"Dr. Roman, you're breaking up. You only have ten seconds before we lose contact." Mash pointed out and he looks around him.

"So Sheba's output is unstable because we switched up to the backup generators, then I guess I'll brief Damian about it later. Both of you, listen to me carefully, I'm receiving a strong reading two kilometers from where you are— it's a leyline…" Roman starts breaking up even more, "Go there, we'll have our connection stabilized by then… Don't do anything reckless while you're on your way, I'll bring the powers back as soon as—" Our connection was suddenly cut off after that and we're standing alone from this desolate place.

"Well, there's nothing else that we can do now, Mash. Let's get going," I told her.

"You're right, Damian, it petrified me for a moment there." Then a small creature brushed past me, I didn't even remember that Fou was here.

"Kyu! (Cheer up!) Fou, fooou! (I'm coming along!)" Fou said cheerfully and Mash chuckled.

"Yes, you're coming with us as well, Fou. Thank you for cheering us up." Fou climbed up on her and rested on her chest, "It seems that Fou Rayshifted with you."

"I am aware of that yes," I replied.

"But I happen to forget to let Dr. Roman know about this incident as well," she muttered to herself. Fou climbs down and sat on my head to say something.

"Kyu. Fou, kyaao! (Don't worry about that guy!"

"Fou said to not worry about Roman," I said to Mash and she nods in agreement.

"I guess you're right, I'll tell him about our condition later once we find the coordinates he mentioned 'll be able to set up camp as well," Mash said and we began walking, I suddenly felt cold in all of my body and I felt nervous. That is always never a good sign, father must've caught up with my disappearance. Mash turned around to look at me, "Is something wrong, Damian?"

"What? Oh, n-nothing. Let's go," I said to her as we venture the desolate land of Fuyuki.

Major Styx's POV

As we sit in agony because of Damian's disappearance, his father grew angrier as we cannot answer to the Prince's whereabouts. The triplets, Vetis, Verin, and Vespa exchanges hit every 'no' or silence we give to his Father.

"Please, sire, you have to understand. Even Tentadora and I have been looking for him for days, yet we cannot see a single strand of your son's hair!"

"SILENCE!" Lucifer bellowed and his voice reverberated in all place of Hell, "I did not give you permission to speak," he thundered and paced back and forth before snapping his neck to glower at us, "You better find Damian if you don't want to be barbecued for the rest of your life, this is Damnation we are talking about, Major Styx." He ordered the triplets to cut us loose.

"T-thank you, sire, we'll find your son in no time." Tentadora didn't say anything as she lifted me up and walked back to our quarters, "Where in Damian's mind did he lose his sense of time!" I groaned in anger and threw my baton on the ground. Hilda suddenly pops up out of nowhere and is throwing icy glares at us.

"I know I can't trust the both of you to take care of Damian," she hissed.

"He'll know his way around, you hag. Right now everyone is out of their minds," I retorted back to her.

"Be thankful that someone saw what happened to him," Hilda turned around and started to leave.

"What?! Who witnessed Damian's disappearance?!" I raised my voice at her and she gave me a disgusting look.

"Look at you, being in despair, how disgusting. But I suppose there's nothing else that I can do except to give clues." Hilda sighed and faced us, "Damian accidentally fell down the edge of Safe Haven's barrier while he was looking for his friend, that was what someone told me. If I'm not mistaken, the people across all havens are in despair as well, except Heaven that is." Hilda pointed out before leaving.

"Damian fell off Safe Haven's barrier? What do you make of that?" When I turn to look at Tentadora, she seems to be fixated at something outside her room. Then, a slice. A feather falls down on she retrieves it back, I immediately know who witnessed his disappearance, "Bozzwick, you bastard!"

Damian's POV

Mash seems to be determined to reach the place, I wonder why.

"We'll reach soon enough the destination that Doctor Roman told us, as you can see, the flames seems to be out of reach from here. But this is more than what Fuyuki is based from the previous data," she explained to me.

"Oh great, why is that?" I sarcastically asked and she doesn't seem to notice it.

"According to our data, this used to be a regional city, a disaster like this has no record during Mana density seems abnormal as well in the atmosphere, much like the ancient Earth from before.
