Following The Heart

Chapter 9

(Sweetheart you are beautiful. Perfect.)

(Don't let boys or anyone else. Define who you are.) Brooke replied.

(You have to say that. You're my mom.) Belinda Brooke replied.

(Why don't we hang out that night instead. When is the last time we've had a mother/daughter night?) Brooke suggested.

(That would be fun. I do like hanging out with you.) Belinda replied.

Before leaving the bedroom.

(I read it all. I couldn't put it down. Luke this needs a be seen by more people. It's being wasted. You're talent.) Brooke insisted.

(I gave that up years ago. No one is going to care about this.) Lucas replied.

As he started to get ready for work.

...

Awhile later

(What do you think.?) Brooke questioned.

(I think he needs an agent and an editor. This is a story. The world would want to read. We would call it the suburban.)

(He left the ending open there is the chance for a second novel.) Lindsey Strauss explained.

(I would love to work with him. You're husband has talent and this is just the start.)

(Give him my card.) Lindsey said.
