I should have seen that Anna was a vampire. I mean I literally slept with her at the Met Gala. Come to think of it, I wondered if she remembered that. She seemed to be pretty convincing that she was just a normal, if not a little bit weird, high school student. I suppose that she had taken acting lessons or something. Or maybe she just was good at being under the radar because no one expected her to be anything but a normal high school student. It was too bad that I never asked her where she lived because that could solved this.

I was currently with Stefan and Rachel while we were looking for Elena. I thought about going to Bonnie to see if she could do a locator spell, but it is not a good idea to mess up with a cranky witch. It was 2 AM.

"Stefan, we're exhausted." Rachel said. "I don't think we're going to find her tonight."

"I don't think Anna is going to kill her." I remarked. "She needs Elena alive because she wants to open the tomb. We're just going to have to wait to see if she has any demands."

I was pretty sure that the book was on top of that list. That was probably the only thing that she wanted because I couldn't think of anything else.

"Let's get some sleep and we can resume looking for her in the morning." I suggested. We could probably get Bonnie to help us then, though she might be going to church. Were witches able to go to church? I wasn't sure because Rachel was never very religious.

I went to sleep and I wouldn't say that I slept well. In fact it was kind of bad. I was worried about Elena, even though I was pretty sure that she was safe at the moment. Her safety could definitely decrease if we didn't try to open this tomb as soon as possible.

I woke up and got dressed in a black and pink lace corset dress with black tights. Yeah I was fully embracing the goth look, but I didn't care. I liked these clothes and I was upset that I didn't figure it out sooner. I went to meet Stefan to discuss our strategy for recovering Elena from wherever she was. Damon was in the living room looking rather smug.

"Anna took Elena." Stefan declared. It really didn't get much of a reaction from the older brother.

"I know. I saw the million messages that you sent me." Damon remarked. I was pretty sure that he was still mad about last night. I wished that I could tell him that I had nothing to do with Stefan's plan to destroy the book, but I didn't think that he wanted to hear it.

"Damon, I know that you saw Anna last night. Please just tell me where she is staying." Stefan replied. Again Damon was having none of it. It seemed like he could really hold a grudge.

"I say this sincerely." Damon remarked. What was he about to say and I was pretty sure that it wouldn't be sincere. "I hope Elena dies."

So it looked like Damon was not going to be any help. He was so frustrating when he was in a mood. I was pretty sure that he didn't actually want Elena to die, but he was so pissed off that he was willing to say something like that. I couldn't believe that he was acting like this in the middle of a crisis. I realized that I should probably try to talk to him.

However, before I could do that, my phone rang. I would normally ignore it but I saw it was Elena. I did realize that it wasn't actually Elena, but instead Anna using her phone. Nevertheless, I answered the phone.

"Elena?" I asked. I mean it was possible that she managed to escape on her own. It might not be very likely, but it was at least possible.

"Nope." Anna answered.

"Where is she?" I demanded. I probably wasn't in the position to make demands, but maybe Anna liked me enough to actually tell me.

"She's fine." Anna stated. "Tell me that you have the grimoire and she'll stay."

"I know where it is." I declared.

"That must mean that Damon has it." She replied. She was very smart. "I need you to get it from him. I have the witch too, so all that's left is the book. I'm going to be in the very public town square. Come and meet me and we can discuss how much fun it's going to be to work together."

So it looked like my idea to use Bonnie to find definitely wouldn't work. That was unfortunate. It left me with no choice but to listen to what she said. She then hung up.

"Go ahead. Grovel. I don't care." Damon stated. He was starting to piss me off, even though I was pretty sure that that was exactly what he wanted to do.

"Damon. Quit being an asshole. I didn't know Stefan wanted to destroy the book. I wanted to get it so we could open the tomb, but I don't want you to leave. You're my family. You and Stefan are my family and I want us to stay together because that's what family does." I remarked. Okay, that sounded really sappy.

"I believe you have a date that you need to get to." He said.

"Okay, then give me the book" I declared.

"I'm not going to give you the book so she can steal it." He stated. You know that was probably a good idea. "Go meet her and maybe then I'll help you."

I wasn't sure if I believed it but I imagined that Anna did not want to wait for very long. I put on some shoes: a pair of black Maryjanes and headed to Town Square to meet Anna.

When I got there, I couldn't help but notice that she was talking to Jeremy. I couldn't help but feel slightly jealous despite the fact that Anna was not my girlfriend and I didn't know if she was even into him like that. I could have listened to what they were saying, but I decided to respect the privacy of it because I didn't think that it was relevant to Elena's location. That was the most important thing that I needed to find out from her. She did look really pretty though. I hoped that she would like my outfit.

"What were you talking to him about?" I asked.

"There's going to be a party tonight at the cemetery with plenty of people for the hungry vampires to eat. Is that nice of them?" She asked with a grin. She was trying to sound evil, but I knew that she wasn't, so it fell a little flat.

"Can you please stop? I know you're not like this. How about we start with why you want to open the tomb?" I suggested. I imagined that it wasn't about causing chaos in the town. She had to have a good reason for it.

"My mother is in there." She admitted. "I told you about this before."

"When? At the Met Gala?" I asked. I didn't remember her saying anything about it.

"When you first got to New York." She said. I remembered that I slept with a girl when I…oh my god. She knew. The compulsion seemed so inconsequential that I didn't remember it until now. "I happen to like you better this way."

"Where's Elena?" I asked with a blush.

"I'm keeping her safe. Where's the book?" She retorted.

"I wouldn't bring it with you so you could steal it." I pointed out.

"Do you think that I would do that?" She asked.

"Yes." I admitted. "I know you're a good person, but I think you're desperate enough to do anything to get your mom back. You know I would have helped you if you just told me the truth. I miss my mom too and I would do anything to see her again."

She blushed a little but she turned her head to try to hide it.

"Well I want to open the tomb tonight. Bring the book and then I'll give you Elena." She replied before she ran off. She seemed flustered.

No sooner than she left, I got a text from Stefan saying that he had rescued Elena and Bonnie and I needed to meet him and Rachel at Bonnie's grandma house.

"I don't know where Bonnie's grandma's house is." I texted him before he gave me the address.

I headed there and knocked on the door. An old woman opened the door and I gasped. I had gone to school with her. I had kissed her.

"Sheila?" I asked in surprise.

"I'm not sure I remember you." She said before she grabbed my hand. "Oh that would explain it. How have you been, Brandy?"

"Just became a girl and a vampire." I stated. I was glad that she hadn't said my old name. I liked being Brandy. I hadn't ever thought of it back then but I kind of did hate myself back then. I hadn't really thought about being a girl, but I loved it. It was possible that I had been transgender and never realized it before. I then realized that it wasn't even time for something like this. "So this meeting is kind of awkward. Can I just come in and we can discuss the main reason we're here."

"Yes. You can come in." She declared before I stepped inside the house. Once I was inside, I gave Elena a hug. Rachel was there too wearing a white blouse, navy vest and black leather skirt.

"I'm glad that you're okay." I told Elena.

"So I guess this is over now." Rachel remarked.

"No, it's not." I stated. "I promised Anna that I would help her open the tomb tonight and that's not going to change just because Elena and Bonnie are free."

"Why would you do that?" Stefan asked. He must have not known her.

"Because all she wants is her mom back." I declared. "It's not like there would be any consequences to opening the tomb. The vampires in there are desiccated. They can't just walk out."

"She shouldn't get what she wants. None of them should." Bonnie argued. I would figure that she more than anyone would understand this.

"Witches being brought down by vampire problems." Sheila muttered. "I'll open the tomb tonight. You'll get your friend's mom out and destroy the rest with fire."

I was pretty sure that Damon wouldn't go for that, but we could negotiate Katherine's release as well.

"Aren't we forgetting something?" Rachel asked. "Damon still has the book and he's not just going to give it to us."

"Leave that to me." I offered. I figured that I was probably the only one who could get Damon to do anything. Maybe he would trust Elena, but I wasn't sure.

So that night, everyone else went to the tomb while I went back to the boarding house to talk to Damon.

"So we got Elena and Bonnie out." I told him.

"That's nice." He stated.

"Damon, I want to open the tomb. I always wanted to open the tomb. I didn't know that Stefan wanted to destroy the book." I declared.

"I don't know if I can believe you." He said.

"Why did you take me to Atlanta?" I questioned. "You could have left me there and just taken Elena, but you took me too."

"Maybe it's because I enjoy your company." He declared.

"We're family, Damon." I declared. "I know that you have a rocky history with Stefan, but I'm not like that. I don't hate you, despite the fact that you killed my father. Actually I think it's time that we finally talked about that. Why did you kill my father? What did he do to you?"

"Joseph had called me there with a letter saying that he wanted to talk." He stated. "He lied to me. What he actually wanted was to imprison me. He had some men vervain me as soon as I got there. I didn't even feed on him. I just threw a knife at his neck. I was imprisoned for five years, where I was experimented on and tortured. When we first met, I didn't have any humanity, but I wanted to turn his sweet little girl into a vicious vampire. If I known that you weren't always a girl, or if you hadn't been turned into one, I probably would have just killed you."

"I'm sorry." I remarked. I wasn't sure if it meant anything. I couldn't believe that my father had done something like that. I could only imagine what I would have been like if Damon had trained me as opposed to Rachel. I would probably be a lot like him. "We need to get to the tomb. I don't want to keep them waiting."

"Before we go, I think we should drink on it." He said as he gave me a glass of whiskey. This was going to have an effect on me. "I'll kill you if you betray me again."

"I didn't betray you." I pointed out before I downed the whiskey. He then gave me a second one.

I was glad that Damon was driving there because I didn't know if I would have been able to. I wasn't as drunk as I was in Atlanta but I was definitely tipsy. It was another disadvantage of being this small. There were a lot of cars there. I couldn't believe that they were actually throwing a party there. What even was the appeal of throwing a party at the cemetery. When we got closer, I couldn't help but notice Caroline and Rachel. Was Rachel supposed to be in charge of keeping everyone else away from the tomb? I mean it was probably a good idea. We didn't want a drunk teenager walking into it.

"Hey Brandy." Caroline greeted me. "What's he doing here?"

"Caroline, maybe we should go back to the party." Rachel suggested as she grabbed the girl's hand. I really hoped that the two of them were going to get together. I knew it wasn't the best time but they hook up because I shipped them. Not to mention, Caroline obviously liked her and I was pretty sure that Rachel liked her too. Sure there was the vampire problem, but that didn't need to be addressed for a little while. I would like to see what Rachel was like in a relationship because she always seemed like she wanted to avoid one. The two of them walked off.

Fell's Church was pretty old. There really wasn't much left of it but apparently there was now a staircase to the tomb. Had there been some kind of spell to do that, because Stefan said that it was just a hole in the ground?

"Brother, witches, Elena." Damon greeted them as he handed Sheila the book. Sheila started to cast the spell and Bonnie started to do it with her. "What's she saying?"

"It sounds like Latin." Elena commented.

"It's not Latin." Stefan pointed out. How did he know that. Did he speak Latin? He wasn't old enough for that. Maybe he had studied when he was in college or something. I know that he had gone to school as well, but I wasn't sure when.

"I'm going to get the flamethrower." I volunteered as I started to walk.

"Are you drunk?" Elena asked me.

"It was the only way that Damon would agree to do this." I declared before I staggered out of there.

I wasn't sure how we had gotten a flamethrower. I wasn't sure why we had a flamethrower in the house. What did we even need one for? Was it something that Zach had bought to protect him from vampires? Something like that would really only work if you had the element of surprise. It was then that I noticed Anna was there. I also noticed Jeremy's unconscious body on the ground. What was she doing?

"Did you start with me?" She asked.

"Anna what are you doing? Let Jeremy go." I said. "Also who the hell is this guy?"

"I'm Ben." He declared.

"I don't care." I replied. Maybe it was because of the alcohol, but I just knocked his head right off. I then realized that I couldn't just leave the body out there, so I turned the flamethrower on him, after I had gotten Jeremy away from the flames. I had to run and get a bucket of water to smother them with.

I decided to go back to the tomb after that. I needed to tell Elena that she needed to take her brother home. I was not in any condition to do that right now.

However, once I got there, I couldn't help but notice that Elena wasn't there. Only Stefan, Sheila and Bonnie were.

"Where's Elena?" I asked.

"Damon took her inside." Stefan said. "Anna just went in."

"Stefan, Jeremy's out there unconscious. Can you get him home?" I requested. He ran off as I prepared to go in the tomb. Bonnie tried to tell me something before I heard Elena scream and ran inside.

Inside was one of the scariest places that I had ever seen. Bodies of desiccated vampires lined the walls. I needed to find Elena so I listened for the sounds of any beating hearts and I found Anna was feeding her to her mother, at least I thought it was her mother.

"That's enough!" I screamed. "Let her go."

Anna complied and the woman started to regain her color. She looked so happy. Anna went over and hugged her mother. I started to cry a little as I watched their beautiful. heartfelt reunion.

"Thank you." Anna remarked.

"You're welcome." I replied before she and her mother started to walk out.

It was then that I realized that I didn't know my way around this place. It was like a scene out of a horror movie. I wasn't even sure where the exit was. I should not have let Damon talk me into drinking that. Speaking of which, where was he?

"Where's Damon?" I asked Elena.

"I don't know. He went his own way as he soon as he brought me in here." Elena explained. I decided that maybe it wasn't the best idea to tell her what Anna had done to her brother. It wasn't important because he was fine now.

"Just go outside and I'll find him." I declared. Fortunately, she did what I said.

Once she was out, I was back to looking around the scary tomb. This place wasn't even supposed to be a prison, but I couldn't help but wonder if Emily wanted to make it one. I was pretty sure that she had one it because Damon offered to save her children. I couldn't help but wonder what had happened to her. She had made it so creepy.

"SHE'S NOT HERE!" Damon screamed. I rushed to the sound of his voice. I then realized who he was talking about? That didn't make sense though. Wasn't the tomb made specifically to keep Katherine safe? How could it be that she wasn't in there? Damon looked devastated and confused. I was just confused. "How could she not be in here? I saw them take her away. How could she not be here?"

He appeared to be in shock. He kept repeating the same thing and I felt really bad for him but I also had a feeling that we wouldn't have a lot of time in here.

"Damon, we need to go." I told him. That didn't appear to work, so I slapped him. "Damon, I'm sorry that she's not in here but we need to get out of here."

The two of us managed to get out. I was glad that he knew where we were supposed to go because I was pretty sure that I didn't. As we exited, the stone door closed behind us. Elena then gave me a tight hug after we exited. I assumed that Stefan had not come back. I was just glad that we were all okay.

Well Damon wasn't okay. I just hoped that he wouldn't turn off his humanity after not finding Katherine. I still couldn't help but wonder where she was if she wasn't in the tomb. Was she still alive? Had they just killed her? I had so many questions and I needed answers even though I was pretty sure that we didn't want Katherine around. I also hoped that Damon didn't plan on leaving town in hopes to find her. I needed him to stay. Maybe I was being so needy because I was drunk but I really needed him to stay.

I thought about calling Anna before I realized that I didn't actually have her number. I didn't know what she planned to do now that her mom was back. I probably should have discussed that with her. I also probably should tell Rachel that we were going to be going home and she didn't need to keep anyone away anymore. However, I didn't see her so I decided to ask someone.

"Have you seen Rachel?" I asked Matt.

"She and Caroline left together a little while ago." He explained. Well that meant that she failed her job, but I would let it slide since she left with Caroline.

So I went home alone. The only thing was that I found that I wasn't alone when I got to my room.

"What are you doing here?" I asked her.

"Well for starters, I wanted to apologize. I should have been honest. I'm just not used to being around people like you. I guess that was what drew me to you so many times." She said.

"Did you really need to do this right now?" I asked. It seemed odd to do it so late.

"Yes." She said. "I don't know what's going to happen with my mom, but I wanted to take this opportunity to properly thank you."

"You already did that in the tomb." I pointed out.

"That's not what I meant." She declared before she kissed me. Maybe it had to do with the alcohol in my system, but I kissed her back. We took off each other's clothes and started to kiss each other's bare bodies. Anna was already the only person that I had sex with twice and now we were doing it again. She then reached into her bag and pulled out something extra special. It had been a while since I used one of those.

"Get on your knees." She commanded. I did so and she entered my vagina from behind. She was fucking me hard and I was moaning through it. I hoped that Stefan wouldn't be able to hear it, but I also didn't care if he did. She made my pussy feel excellent and I kind of wished that she would be able to fill it, but we still both orgasmed before she pulled out and laid beside me. I wrapped my arms around her before I fell asleep.

So Brandy and Anna had sex with each other and she and Damon also talked about her father. Now the tomb has been opened and things are going to get complicated. Please don't forget to review.
