R&R longer note at the end

The light haired brown girl sat waiting in the park for her friend despite being rivals the two had always seen eye to eye, the sun reflected off her glasses as she looked up as she heard someone approaching with a smile seeing the dark brown haired girl stopping in front of her panting.

"I'm really sorry for being late" she said smiling hoping the other would forgive her "Something came up on the way here". Imu looked up staring directly at the other crossing her arms across her chest staring at the other who nervously began to play with her hair under the others intense stare, the Hebijo elite member had known of the others antics.

"Really now?" She asked her tone rather accusing "What may I ask was this 'something' you spoke about?"

"We-well you see" Asuka began as she chuckled nervously as she continued to play with her hair sighing eventually cracking under that intense stare "I saw a cat but it was a really cute cat and it came and said hi to me so I couldn't just walk away". The other shinobi sighed, of course she got distracted by an animal this was truly nothing new to her of course the two had decided to set up a small training session for an upcoming tournament in the past.

When Asuka had finally arrived she had been ten minutes late with bags of food from different stalls the other had passed, of course after the training session was over the two had happily eaten their share however the lack of focus that Asuka showed to being on time had always been something Imu had predicted each time she had made plans with the other.

"Fine, as always I'll forgive you" Imu said finally as the other smiled clapping her hands happily "However would it kill you to actually turn up on time or heaven forbid be early to something without getting distracted?"

"Oh come on Imu, why are you always so serious and strict?" Asuka asked as the girl looked up at her raising an eyebrow "I predict you have no idea how to have fun". Imu's cheeks flared up as she stood up suddenly feeling rather embarrassed and frustrated by the sudden accusation, Asuka took a step back as she smirked a little knowing how to push the right buttons to throw even the most serious people off their game.

"Ex-excuse me? I'll have you know that I know how to have fun" Imu said a hint of annoyance behind her voice as she spoke "Just because I prefer having people be on time for something they agreed to does not mean I don't know how to have fun".

"Well, prove it" Asuka said causing the other to look a little confused "We agreed to go shopping right? So prove you can be fun". Imu nodded ready to prove herself in this foolish game her friend had tricked her into, the smile remained on the others face as she hooked her arm with Imu as they both headed towards the shopping district.

Asuka sat in the comfy chair tapping her foot as she stared at the curtain on the dressing room in front of her waiting for Imu to come out, after all her talk the dark brown haired girl couldn't help the feeling that the Hebijo shinobi was now wishing she could back out.

"Come on Imu" Asuka said smiling "It can't really be that bad right? After all you know how to have fun ri…" Asuka's sentence was cut off moving just in time to dodge the thrown bag of Imu at the obvious taunt, chuckling a little the girl couldn't help but wonder just what the other looked like.

"I know how to have fun" Imu's voice came from the other side of the curtain "That's not the issue, it's this stupid outfit you picked for me. I refuse to be seen in it, why would you even think I'd wear this?" Looking at herself in the mirror she couldn't bring herself to allow someone else to see her let alone one of her friends however she knew better than anyone how stubborn the other girl could be, with a sigh she looked at herself once more steeling her resolve as she opened the curtain.

"F-fine" Imu said eyes closed so she could ignore the obviously stupid grin on the others face "Go ahead and laugh".

"Huh? Laugh?" Asuka asked causing Imu to slowly open her eyes a little seeing not the obvious teasing grin she had pictured in her mind but a smile of genuine happiness "You look amazing, when I picked it out I wasn't sure what to expect but I felt it would be fun and nice to pull you out of your comfort zone and I just never imagined it would suit you so well". Calming herself down Imu turned to look in the mirror taking another look at herself, usually she would wear a simple top and black skirt however today Asuka had chosen something more interesting for her.

She rested her arms at her sides staring at the white frilly dress she would not normally wear, black sensible shoes replaced her usual boots making her feet feel a little lighter than normal as she allowed a smile to cross her lips staring into the mirror she could see her friend smiling as she let out a small sigh.

"Go on then" the light brown haired girl said as she turned to the other girl "Pick me out a few more things, who knows I might buy one of them".

After a long shopping spree, the two shinobi walked back to the park smiling and laughing happy to have enjoyed their long hard day, despite how it had begun Imu couldn't deny that it had certainly turned out to be a rather enjoyable day she was almost sad that it was coming to an end.

"So was that proof enough for you?" Imu asked as she hugged her friend picking up the bags she had with her one containing the white dress and shoes she had been reluctant to try "Still going to say I'm not fun?"

"You get" Asuka responded as she put a finger to her chin thinking "A passing grade". She chuckled seeing the look on the other girls face as her eyes suddenly widened feeling the soft feeling of the others lips against her own, it had only lasted a few seconds but it had felt longer.

"Be safe on your way back" Imu said a grin now crossing her own lips as she turned to walk off "Don't get distracted by anything and end up hurt".

Unpredictability strikes once more as I'm sure people assumed we were done with I after Ikaruga? Well there was always going to be another I to go and that was lovely Imu who really doesn't get much love but here she does and of course a little back and forth teasing

However with the Imu chapter out of the way it's the end of the I section and next we move onto K, who will feature in K you ask? Well you'll have to wait and see
