Weiss's Dreamscape
Upon hearing that Weiss was infected by the Nightmare Grim Sonic and Ruby suggested they entre Weiss's dream first as a simple recon mission in which Shion Zaiden the Nightmare agreed to and now the two speedsters find themselves inside Weiss's Dreamscape
"Okay talk about a snowy wasteland in the middle of nowhere!" Sonic commented on seeing the snow as Ruby then said as she took a look at herself as she appeared to be wearing a black winter shirt a red jacket a winter hat that had RWBY on top of it with now goggles she unfolded then Crescent Rose as it appeared to have a different design
"So cool!" As she liked it she then saw Sonic wearing a dark red shirt a dark blue jacket that reaches down his legs and blue goggles on his head and his sword was a katana and he also had two black gloves with some holes that look like steam vents on them Sonic then chuckles and said
"Race ya!" Sonic then speeds through the snow as Ruby chuckles as she turns Crescent rose into a snowboard as she follows from behind until they reached a really ridiculous sign Sonic sees the pointing in many directions as he said a deadpan voice
"Really helpful Ice queen.."
Ruby then brought out some coins as she used one to summon a phone box to contact the outside world as she said
"Hey It's me. This is Ruby. Can you hear me?" As the voice of Zaiden was then heard
"Yes, I can hear you loud and clear so tell me did you two find the gate?"
Sonic sighed and said as he gently took the phone from Ruby "No dice Teach because there's snow everywhere and we can't find anything apart from a broken road sign and a train track.." then Shialon said
"Has anything appeared on the train tracks?" As if to answer the question a train appeared as Sonic gave the phone back to Ruby who sees the train
"It looks like the train is from Weiss's family company.." Just then they saw the train getting attacked by what seemed to be a fusion of the Grimm and White Fang members attacking the train
"I've got to help!" Ruby said as she was ready to fight back but Sonic grabbed her and said "You mustn't, Ruby." "Huh?" Sonic said acting smart on seeing how to approach this situation
"This isn't the right time to intervene!" Then Zaiden's voice said through the phone "I agree with Sonic…"
After watching the event the Grimm fang destroy the train and then leave seeing how they easily derailed the train without a second thought as Sonic said
"Those White fang knockoffs took out the train like it was nothing. I think I'm gonna call those guys the Grimm Fang because they're a fusion of the white fang and Grim!" Zaiden then said
"Are the train tracks all right?" "Yep!" Sonic said back as the Nightmare hunter suggested an idea to the two speedsters
"Try following the tracks and remember to leave some bread crumbs along the way and be sure to stay vigilant. You don't know where the enemy could strike." Ruby and Sonic nodded "Understood/Copy that!"
Ruby then hangs up the phone as she and Sonic see the sign and then have an idea they head to to the train tracks making sure not to be spotted by the White Fang then Sonic used his first coin to open a door for them they then arrive at a fortified gate with spikes on it
Sonic held onto Ruby's hand as Ruby uses her semblance to some of the gates bar as they started moving across the kingdom
"This is nothing A-ma-zing about this maze!" Sonic gumbled Ruby then yelled "C'mon let us inside already!" As Ruby her semblance as a boost and Sonic used a spin dash they saw a better view of the kingdom they land on a ledge as Sonic whistles
"Crazy this place nearly out ranks Castle Acorn." Ruby then said in a worried voice "Wherever you are Weiss we're on our way!"
Back in the real world
Mario and Joker were pacing in back and forth wondering if Sonic and Ruby were okay in Weiss's dream while Sora was just doing a remnant crossword puzzle to pass the time and Morgana was sleeping just then Shion's phone started to ring as they picked it up
"Yes?" As Ruby's voice was heard "Ruby here Sonic and I found a huge city in here.." Mario then said "Ruby this is Mario did you and Sonic get past the gate?"
Ruby's voice then said "I think so.." Shion then said "Excellent, keep leaving breadcrumbs and proceed with extreme caution. Our job will get harder if you both get caught!" "Got it!"
Shinon then said "And be careful to not waste the coins. Each one consumes some of my Aura. If you run out, I won't be able to help you."
"So that means we have the danger of being trapped in here tenfore!" Sonic said through the phone as Ruby then said "Also our clothes and weapons have changed. Why is that?" As the Nightmare gave the answer to them "Your appearance is how Weiss views you which would mean the are other you's in there.."
Mario, Ren ami, Yang and Blake were surprised to hear that as they go over to the unconscious Weiss alongside the blue hedgehog faunus as Sonic said
"Another version of us huh?" as the Nightmare hunter then said "They're not there to replace someone in the dream it'll be much harder for the Nightmare to spot you but however if you were someone like me who isn't close to Weiss, you wouldn't have a character in the dream, and you'd be recognized as intruders
Ruby then said "So Weiss thinks we're close friends…" Sonic nodded and said "That must be the reason then thanks for that Professor we're gonna keep moving from here.." Sonic and Ruby hang up from their side of the phone as Mario said wanting to know what's happening on the other side
"What news from the away team?" Zaiden then said "They're deeper than I originally thought this could be a bit troublesome.."
Yang then suggested an idea to her teacher "What if we fought the Grim together with me, Blake, Sora, Mario and Ren.."
Ren then said almost agreeing "That could work, we did the same thing with Sora when he was under the Nightmare after we can be stronger in numbers.." Zaiden then said
"No not yet! The Nightmare has spent time burrowing into Weiss's heart, and has hidden itself. We have to find it within the dream first."
Blake then said as she frowned "I can't believe we didn't see this happen I was thinking only about myself.." Yang then sighed and said thinking she also may be at fault
"Geez, I'm the one who needs to think about what being a good teammate means."
Professor Ozpin smiled and said "Now is not the time to point fingers or blame each other for these current events and focus on our dangerous enemy now Weiss needs her most loyal friends more than ever to go into her dream and save her.."
Professor Goodwitch then said "Mario, Ren, Blake and Yang as well if we try to enter the Dream we will be instantly kicked out, the only ones Weiss can trust with all her heart you have to be ready to fight.."
Sora then said, speaking up "Yeah she's right after all Weiss is counting on us.."
"We'll save Weiss's heart no problem." Sora's friends nodded in agreement with him
Back in the dream Sonic and Ruby stand there as Sonic said "Well better start leaving the crumbs behind!" As Sonic used one of his coins to open a door to the train tracks as Ruby smiled "This is so easy!"
As Ruby closes the door Sonic then said "Well race ya to the bottom!" As Sonic spin dash downwards as Ruby follows with her semblance as they then arrive in the city
"Wow, talk about a busy street.." Ruby said looking around the place as Sonic then pulls Ruby back as he points to the statues moving eyes as Ruby nodded as they had to use stealth as they avoided some of the posters that had moving eyes on them as a voice ringed from the speakers
"And now, today's news. Another Company train has been attacked. There were no survivors. What an unspeakable act. We must exact retribution from the hated White Fang! But luckily the cowards are scared of hurting their little soldier we captured not awhile ago!"
Sonic and Ruby gasped at that meaning someone else is in the dream world besides them but how and who was it so they nodded as they had to find this person and save them while carefully avoiding some big grey robots with a glowing red eye as one shouted
"ALL HAIL BIG NICHOLAS!" As they find cover Sonic sees what something or rather someone the robots were guarding
"Hang on is that?"
Sonic sees a red cage in the middle of the city and saw echidna faunus but this faunus was one he was able to recognise right away he had red hair that reached down to his neck a dark red shirt that had his signature crescent moon on it a black belt that held black pants a purple cloth attached to the pants the person trapped in the cage
As the echidna faunus sighed miserly since he first woke up in this odd world and got separated from his ally not awhile ago
Sonic and Ruby attacked the robots and easily destroy them as they both landed with ease as Sonic knew who the faunus as he said
"Knuckles is that you?" Knuckles gasped in surprise to see Sonic here as Knuckles couldn't hear what Sonic said but it sounded like "Stand back."
Sonic brought out Cailburn and slashed the cage freeing Knuckles from it as the echidna landed on his feet
Knuckles sees his hands and discovers that he's still in his current form and not his true form said with a growl while glaring at his rescuer
"Some rescue this turned out to be! I'm still in this form Sonic!" Sonic said with a deadpan sigh
"Look for the record that's normal for people like us. It's to make sure the world stays in complete and total order or haven't you listened to Team Mystic's adventures across the universe.." Knuckles was sceptical at first but then nodded agreeing with it for the moment as he claimed down as Sonic said in confusion
"What are you doing here anyway Knuckles shouldn't you be guarding the Master Emerald back on Angel Island or maybe treasure hunting?" Ruby was confused on what a Master emerald was and what was Angel Island
Knuckles then said explains his side of the story to Sonic
"Well believe it or not I was minding my own business on Angel island when Tikal sensed a strong power. I went to investigate it with Chaos and we ended up here and battled some black monsters and thanks to these strange wristbands that gave me some cool weapon I like to call Fist of Fury…"
Knuckles clicks a button on the wristbands as Knuckles summoned the fist of fury
"But however someone managed to easily defeat me and Chaos next thing I woke up in that prison.." Knuckles looks at Ruby whose eyes were shining as Knuckles said
"What?" Ruby squeals in joy upon seeing Knuckles's weapons
"Oh my gosh your weapons are so cool. What kind of dust does it have? What can the weapon do.." Sonic chuckled grabbing Ruby as he pulled her back
"Okay Ruby, that'll be enough questions for Knucklehead.." Knuckles was confused on who this girl with Sonic was and said
"I'm sorry I literally missed the plot here first off. Who the heck is this girl your ward or something?" Sonic said in shock on why Knuckles would say that "What!? No!" Ruby then said
"Hello I'm Ruby, Ruby Rose, any friend of Sonic is a friend of mine!" Knuckles folds his arms looking at Ruby and says "Knuckles, Knuckles the echidna!" Ruby then said "Oh we're using nicknames now well I'm also known as Little red hood with a scythe which is also a gun.."
Knuckles then said backing up a bit to make sure he didn't get on her bad side "Okay then!"
"INTRUDERS DETECTED THEY HAVE ALSO FREED THE PRISONER!" Just then the three heroes were spotted by a robot "Oh boy!" Sonic said in worry as Ruby slashed the robot apart with her weapon Ruby gasped and said in a panic
"Oh my gosh sorry!" As more robots charged onto the scene "Intruders detected!" Sonic then said "Oh not good RUN!" As he, Knuckles and Ruby ran away from the robots Ruby brought her weapon to shoot the robots but however she fired backwards
"What the!?" Sonic said in shock as Ruby said looking at her weapons design "What? Weiss, this is backwards!" Knuckles then destroys two more robots with his weapons and said
"Worry about your weapon later, we need to move!" Sonic uses one of his coin to summon decoy's of him, Knuckles and Ruby
As they were repeating the words "we're sorry" over and over Ruby then sighed annoyed and then said "Ugh I'll have to explain what Crescent rose looks like to Weiss later. Sonic then said
"For now it looks like the Nightmare is keeping the old Snow princess away at the top of the castle.."
"Huh Nightmare can someone tell me what's happening here!?" Knuckles said as he was completely confused about what's happening and Sonic then said "Oh yeah you're basically new to all this well.."
Sonic takes a deep breath explaining that the Smash Mansion was invaded by Grim being chosen by Master Hand to this mission meeting team LEKY and Ruby as they capture Roman Torchwick and then Eggman kicking Sonic's butt at the docks and the Nightmare infecting Weiss to the current events catching Knuckles up to speed
"And then we ran into you, who somehow ended up in this world!" Sonic pants so fast as he, Ruby and Knuckles were now in front of a wall "Okay then.."
Knuckles said as Sonic and Ruby ran up the wall while Knuckles was climbing with his fist of fury just then these thorns block their path as they landed without a scratch
"It's prickly just like Weiss.." Sonic looked at his hands and wondered if he can use the Fall Maiden's power but then realised Knuckles was there and was worried Knuckles might find it strange and start asking questions about this strange power so he decided not to use it and said
"Yo Weiss let us in already, it's rude to leave guests outside!" Ruby and Knuckles nodded in agreement as the thorns became speakers as a voice said
"Unauthorised Semblance use is prohibited. Loyal citizens of the Empire must travel the true path." Knuckles growls and said as he was searching for this path
"Where the heck is this path?" Ruby then uses a coin to summon a map where she and Sonic have been as she said looking annoyed
"What? It only covers the places I've walked?! That doesn't give us any idea where to go. I wasted that coin."
Sonic then idea and then said "Or maybe not!" Sonic took out his scroll and took a picture of it and said looking at a big building "Maybe that place could lend us a helping hand Professor Shion did say that the path in the dream would go through places connected to Weiss's dreams.."
Just then the three hear a noise as they get into battle stance but instead see these workers as they decided to blend in with the crowd as a statute of Jacque said
"The Company provides the people with a place to work. Dust mining, refinement, transport, and how many jobs do you think I've created for you? My father-in-law Lord Nicholas was indeed a very great man. He risked his life searching for Dust mines, and brought peace to Atlas. But the one who brought wealth and expanded the Company… Was I, Jacques Schnee."
Ruby then said "Schnee as in Weiss's dad.." Sonic said not likening the guy one bit "Hmm if so the guy reeks of bad blood!" Knuckles nodded in agreement
As this was happening the robots dealing with the decoys had Sonic's decoy on the ground as a robot was pushing down hard on it with it's foot another robot was choking the Knuckles decoy and Ruby's decoy was being stretched as a small little bat sees the commotion and said
"What the heck are those things?" Just then the decoys get destroyed as the bat laughed at the robots and said "Well isn't that cute. A decoy. Someone's wandering around without permission. Track them down and bring them to me."
As this was happening Sonic and his two allies were inside the factory making dust bottles as this was getting a bit boring for Sonic as he grabbed the bottle and smashed it against the wall "Okay that's it we came here for Weiss not to do slave work!"
Ruby and Knuckles nodded in agreement as Ruby uses her semblance as she grabs Knuckles and Sonic's hands as they speeded off not knowing a statue caught a glimpse of Ruby's semblance
The three stop to see a poster of the one called Big Nicholas as a robot with happy look on his face said
"Praise Big Nicholas!" Sonic jumps back in shock "Where did you come from!?" Knuckles sighed and said "Listen we don't want any sort of trouble we just want to find a way through."
The robot looked at Sonic, Ruby and Knuckles and said "Hmm you're not like the others aren't you? You want to go to the other side of the wall?"
Ruby nodded and said "Yes and you are.." The robot laughed in joy and said "Where are my manners? I'm Happy Klein, one of the Seven Butlers, and the director of this factory. Oh that's right. The Dust shop next to the Sillies' jail is still open."
As Happy Klein was about to leave Sonic said "Wait hold up what is this about a jail for Sillies you said?"
"Well we are all aware how fortunate we workers are. Master Jacques told us to make workers perform cheap labour."
Sonic then sees the exit as he and his friends as Sonic said "Yeah we're gonna leave you to your work pal keep up the great work!" Sonic then closes the door as they were in a different part of the street now
Knuckles then said to Sonic and Ruby "Is that the Dust Shop we're looking for?" Sonic nodded just as Sonic could open the door a voice called out
"Hello, hello, hello!" Sonic and the others jumped back to see a talking door as Knuckles said "What the?! A talking door, what is this Alice in Wonderland!?"
"Tee hee hee. It's me, Dopey Klein. I'm one of the Seven Butlers! I'm guarding the Sillies here to make sure none of them don't escape from here."
Sonic and Knuckles said in confusion as they looked at the prisoners as Doppy Klein said "Really certified dummies If they get out, um, something really bad will happen!"
Ruby had a deadpan expression and said "Right.." Just then she sees Team Jaune, Nora and Ren making cat noises as Sonic said in shock "I cannot believe this is how Weiss sees Jaune's team.."
Just then Dopey said "Say miss and misters are you Sillies if so you're welcome to come inside." Knuckles scoffed and said "Yeah right I'm not that stupid.." Ruby politely declines "Thanks anyway but no thank you bye then…"
Dopey then said "Okay then have a nice day!" Just as Sonic, Ruby and Knuckles entered the room they started voices and saw some shadows talking with each other both females "Heard another train was attacked." "That's terrible! I get chills thinking about the Faunus being so close."
The shadows then leave the room as they went through a door as Ruby opens the door and sees some sort of higher class distract
"Crazy each floor is different then the other one.." Sonic said look as he, Ruby and Knuckles the jump upwards to get a better view of the place unaware of being spied on by a flying bat above their heads
Sonic brought out his coins and said "Okay the castle is up ahead so we better make these count!" Ruby nodded looking determined
Dreamscape Schnee mansion
The mansion was almost a spitting image of the real mansion as the Dream version of Weiss entered the council room as a dream version of Mario bowed to her the Mario of Weiss's dream was wearing a red and white tuxedo and didn't have his signature red cap on him but he did have his gloves on
"Welcome home my lady!" Weiss smiled at her loyal ally and said "Thank you kindly my dear knight!" As the laughing of Weiss's mothers shadow was laughing as she was having herself another drink in the background Dreamscape Mario brought over a chair as Weiss sits in as she said
"Doc Klein report!" Just then a small candle became to life as Doc Klein came fourth as he appeared to be a small candle
"Reporting. Yet another train has been attacked by the White Fang inhabiting the valley and grows stronger by the day." Dreamy Mario growled and said "Those wretched animals again my lady no doubt that wretched beings are behind the new attack!"
Weiss nodded to Dreamy Mario and said "How long will it be before we are able to safely receive trains again?" As Dream actor Willow laughed in amusement as she was drinking as Doc Klein said
"But luckily there hasn't been any reports of any Faunus in the empire ever since we captured that strange echidna that found his way here but however the girl in the black garments alongside the masked gentleman keeps appearing again and again.."
Weiss nodded and said "That is true I cannot seem to get my mind off her monitor every one of their movements right away!" Just then Whitley Schnee flew onto the scene and said
"Hey sis we got trouble! very big trouble.." Dreamy Mario said "Speak your mind you floating troublemaker after all our mistress didn't give YOU permission to fly around!"
Whitley scoffed as he hung himself upside down like a bat would do
"I was doing flying patrols to make sure nothing happened that you would get blamed for. I don't want my dear sister to be punished for anything very naughty." Whitley then chuckles as Weiss then said getting really ticked off at her brother
"Just state your business dear brother!" The bat nodded and said "I saw another Faunus rescue our little prisoner without any shred of mercy and worst of all teaming up with a dummy!"
Weiss then said shocked about hearing this "What did you just say?!"
Whitley then said "After breaking a soldier in the factory town, she and the two Faunus used a weird decoy to escape."
Weiss scoffed and said "No doubt in my mind that is dummy behaviour!" Weiss then placed her onto a hand scanner as it shows the hologram of Jacque as Weiss
"Big Nicholas!"
The hologram then said "Weiss, you carry a heavy responsibility. It is your birthright to bring order to the world!" Willow is then heard laughing even louder just then Weiss sees Ruby and Sonic on screen as Weiss said in shock
"Ruby what is she doing out there and worst hanging around with that blue pest Sonic!"
Jacque's hologram then said "And here I thought you were a proper daughter of the Schenee family Weiss.."
As Weiss said "What are you trying to say to me?" As Jacque's image said "Sneaking outside without permission and allying themselves with those wretched animals who's most likely a thief is such behaviour worthy of a Schnee.." Dreamy Mario could feel Weiss's frustration and the look of sadness in her eyes as Whitley said
"And the last thing we need is Dummies wandering around the wonderful empire sister!" Dreamy Mario yelled being the voice for Weiss's emotions as he threw a vase at the bat as it shatters on impact
"BEAT IT YOU LITTLE TWERP!" Whiteley flies off chuckling while Willow is laughing as she poured herself another drink as Dreamy Mario said
"My lady I'm going to get Grumpy Kelin and track Ruby and Sonic.." Weiss said "Good thinking Mario I will join you shortly!" Mario nodded as he leaves the room as his butler uniform was transforming into red and white armour even having a sword with a sash and a white helmet that bor Mario's signature 'M' on it
Weiss then walks over to a book near the fireplace and picks it up while saying "I will make everyone fully aware more than anyone am the rightful heir to Grandfather Nicolas's legacy!" As the book gained thorns on it
Knuckles was starting to shiver "Geez it's so cold why didn't this Weiss girl not make heaters in this dream of hers if it's snowing all the time!?" Sonic then came over as he had some brought some food from a nearby vendor who was selling Chili Dogs and grapes
"Well there's one bright side to all this.." Knuckles then said "What?" Sonic smiled as he started to have a bite at his chilli dog , "At least Weiss knows what kind of food I love!" Knuckles gasps when he sees his favourite food "Grapes for me finally I'm starving!"
Sonic gives the grapes to Knuckles as Sonic comes over to Ruby who was talking to Zaiden
"It's been a while and we still haven't found Weiss yet, maybe she hates me.." Ruby sighed sadly as Sonic placed the chilli dog aside and decided to wait until Ruby was done talking to the Nightmare hunter
"Have you ever swum in a fast current?" Shilon asked Ruby as the Huntress in training asked
"Yeah but when I was small.." As it shows an image of Ruby near a water pond "Dad got mad at me and said I could've drowned.
As Zaiden said to her "The river isn't deliberately trying to drown you as it flows. When you enter it, the flow of the water changes."
"How does it change?" Ruby asked as Zaiden said "A dream is a large river where many different souls come together. Some of them are evil, the others are good. Lies and truth are but small parts of a dream. Don't let it swallow you up. You must face it head on with Sonic."
Sonic then said through the phone "Don't worry about Professor we'll be okay as much as I wanna hear more of your wonderful tale it's best not to waste more of your coins.." Zaiden chuckled and said "Good to hear anything else you wish to say or add?"
Sonic smiles as he gives Ruby a chilli dog as she starts to eat it and then says "No thank you.." She then hangs up as the phone disappears as she was enjoying the chilli dog
"Wow this chilli dog is amazing!" Sonic chuckles and says while taking off her snow winter hat and ruffling her hair as she laughs at Sonic "Glad you like it you got to save your strength after all!" Ruby nodded as she placed the hat back on to avoid getting a brain freeze
Once the group finished having their meal to eat they continued moving on as Sonic said "C'mon I'm for sure it's this way!" Knuckles' eyes widened in complete worry
"Ah guys.." Sonic and Ruby turn the direction Knuckles was pointing to as they both gasped and saw wanted posters of Knuckles, Ruby and Sonic all over the place as two silhouettes said
"Is that them?" "Yep, that's them!" The girls vanished from sight "This might be trouble!" Knuckles said in worry as they heard footsteps and a voice shouted
"There they are! Wretched scoundrels surround them and don't allow them to flee!" The robot looked like Happy Klein however this robots face was red and mad this was Grumpy Klein
"A silly wandering around without permission and hanging out with Faunus you will return with me to the tower while the Faunus are hereby ordered to be executed!"
"Return?" Ruby said in confusion on what that meant while Sonic and Knuckles shouted in pure shock to hear that
"Executed!?"
"Brilliant work Grumpy Klein!" A voice shouted as the robots halted and moved to the side to Dreamy Mario walking over as he smirks at the robot
"Is that Mario?" Knuckles said in confusion upon seeing why Mario was here Sonic and Ruby knew this was another one of Weiss's Dream Actors as he said "Bow before her majesty Weiss Frostina Mariana Schnee ruler of Atlas!" Mario bows as Weiss came walking in
alongside a robotic dog that had a small sneeze Weiss then removed her sunglasses and glared at Ruby and her friends
Ruby gasped in joy upon seeing "Weiss it's you your-" But however Weiss said
"Be quiet you!" And that caused Ruby to stop midway as Weiss said "I don't even recall giving the idea to speak or even worse allying yourself with the Faunus you are such an embarrassment!"
Sonic growls and says "I should've known it was fake! You're still on edge on Ruby being your leader, is that what this is all about to you?!" Weiss then glares at Sonic and said
"I don't believe I asked you to speak to me, filthy little blue rat!" Sonic said back not liking being called a rat "I am not a rat, I am a hedgehog HEDGE-HOG!" Weiss then looks at her book and then said
"Alright, Winter time to lay out your verdict!" The book opens up and shows Winters silhouette as she says
"The powerless return to dust the wicked will wander the void alone, imprison the traitor and execute your enemies without a shred of mercy!"
Dreamy Mario then said "You heard the lady your execution is now!" Weiss nodded "Indeed you all have been found guilty now prepare yourself Sonic and Ruby for battle!" She places Winter's book back onto Sneasy Klein's back and tosses her cloak aside as she entered a battle stance while pointing her weapon at the heroes as Ruby said almost heartbroken
"So all of it was a lie?! About wanting bunk beds, about accepting me as your leader and even Blake!? WE WERE ALL TRYING TO HELP YOU WEISS!" A single tear hits the floor as she said
"You know what fine I don't care anymore we're getting your sorry butt out of here and I WILL NEVER SPEAK TO YOU AGAIN!"
Weiss felt greatly offended and bit sad to hear that but she unleashed a barrage of ice shards at Sonic, Ruby and Knuckles who all dodge in time
Just then Dreamy Mario tackles Knuckles as the echidna crashes into a wall cracking it "Oh you're asking it for Mario I don't wanna do this to a friend but you forced me to do THIS!" Knuckles slams his fist of fury right into Dreamy Mario as the the knight crashed into some robots destroying some of them in the process
Sonic is clashing swords with Weiss as the frosty woman kicked Sonic off her as her weapon glared a blue glowing aura Ruby gasped as she grabbed Sonic's hand and used her semblance to avoid a massive explosion
Sonic sighed in relief that he was rescued in time as he, Knuckles and Ruby now had to run as they were jumping from house to house as Weiss appeared above them ready slash them back but Sonic quick on his feet grabs his two friends hands boosted right past her
Weiss growled as she unleashed a powerful lightning dust attack at the trio who as Knuckles caught midair struggling to control it as it overpowered Knuckles as the three crashed down to the ground
"Ah that's gonna hurt!" Knuckles said Sonic then gasped as he saw Dreamy Mario in rage unleashing fireballs at them "Ahh! No time for a rest, let's move it!"
Ruby nodded as she and Sonic threw his last two cards, one for a door and the other coins for some decoys shouting "I don't care!"
Mario caught the Sonic and Knuckles decoys and burns them while Weiss slashed the Weiss decoy apart
Sonic sees that he has run out of coins as he used up his to create as he said "Geez Weiss I have seen cold hearts before but yours could make Shadow more lonesome if you were always like this .."
As Ruby looks at her last coin and then says "This is my last coin!" Sonic then said "If so then let's use it and get the heck outta now!"
"No! I don't wanna leave Weiss here.." Knuckles said as they were running through the streets "Ah do I have to remind you that your friend wants to keep you trapped here while she wants our heads on a spike!"
"Exactly!" Weiss's voice said as she and Dreamy Mario emerged from an alleyway "Wherever you like it or not we're solving this problem!"
Weiss then pointed her weapon at her foes and said "Isn't that correct Ruby?" She and Dreamy Mario jumped into the air ready to finish as Ruby had a determined look while Sonic and Knuckles had worried looks
