I don't know how long I have been blacked out for, but what I did know was that I could hear my two familiars Elyse and Ananta very close to my head and I could also hear Danica's worried voice as she tried to stop the bleeding from coming out of my leg. I was unable to talk and I was unable to move, I tried more than once to make a sound, any sound but nothing would come out. After a while I heard what sounded like two doors swinging open and banging against the stone wall as a voice I thought I would never hear again until I went back to my old life could be heard. "Stand aside. Your level of magic is useless for this type of wound." said a slightly higher pitched male voice as he entered the chamber I was in. I wasn't listening closely to the conversation Danica and the man were having as I was trying to figure out how he was even here in the first place. He was from my old world so the chances of someone here having his exact voice were slim. "Who by the eight divines do you think you are?" I heard Danica demand as I felt her be pushed away from my wound. "There's no time for introductions. If you want to help then start feeding him this potion while I heal him using the Heal Other Spell." As he said this I felt the last of my bandages get cut off of my bleeding leg while a cold liquid was being poured down my throat tasting awfully like honey. "Lift his head slightly while you pour that in his mouth." When he said this I felt Danica lift me slightly making the liquid run down my throat faster. Without warning I felt the magic of the heal other spell slowly weave and flow through my wound slowly mending the broken bone, torn muscle, damaged nervous system, main artery and torn flesh. At first the spell only made me feel a slight tingling sensation as well as a slight twinge of pain, however when the spell finally fixed my nervous system in my leg that's when the pain finally hit. Danica had just put the empty potion bottle to one side as I opened my mouth and let out an ear-piercing scream of pain and agony. However, before I could start thrashing around Danica quickly held me down to stop me from disrupting the healing process. "FARKAS..VILKAS. HELP ME HOLD AMARA DOWN." shouted Danica as two footsteps could be heard running into the room. "Vilkas hold down his legs so they don't move while this man heals the wound. Farkas help me hold down his upper body." once Danica said this two sets of hands held me down firmly preventing me from moving at all as I screamed in pain feeling each broken part of my leg click back into place as well as feeling each individual blood vein slowly reconnect as the skin and muscle slowly and painfully knitted itself back together.
"Danica Kechan needs your assistance.. He's injured." said Aela as she ran into the room. "How bad are his injuries?" asked Danica as I was still thrashing around in pain. "Not as bad as Amara but I don't know what dragonfire can do or if it has lasting effects?" Said Aela grabbing Danica's attention immediately. "Go and help this Kechan man I'm nearly done here anyways." said the man that was healing my leg. Without another word Danica ran out of the chamber with Aela not far behind her. "How much longer?" asked either Farkas or Vilkas. They sounded as though they were struggling to keep a hold of me. "I don't know some of the skin is not healing properly... I might have to leave the rest of it to heal on its own. The bone, muscle and blood arteries are fully healed however." Explained the man as the magic of the heal other spell slowly retracted from my leg leaving it feeling numb and slightly stiff. "You may go now. I'll inform you when I have finally awakened young Amara." said the man as I felt him sit beside my left leg as the two men that held me down grumbled a bit before slowly walking out of the Chamber shutting the doors behind them.
The man said nothing apart from him shushing me as silent tears ran down my face from the pain I had just experienced. "Can you open your eyes for me hatchling?" said the man as he started to gently stroke my hand with his thumb. I struggled for a long moment however after a while I was finally able to slowly open my eyes only to be surprised at the person I saw. He was a handsome man with pale skin and grayish white scales scattered along partially on his lower face and neck, some of the scales were even on his hands. He had dark black hair with horns on either side of his head that curved backwards and around his ear before coming back to the front with the tips of the horns touching the bottom of his earlobes, dark brown eyes with hues of red in them finally he was wearing a long black robe with black boots to go with them. "Hay Red how did you get here... And... What race are you?" I asked making Red laugh. "You see me for the first time in ages.. And that's your first question.. Sorry correction two questions..Hehehe.. Well to answer your second question I'm part Argonian as you can clearly tell from the scales, horns.. My claws and my tail." as he said tail his black robe lifted up slightly revealing a long tail with black, white and Gray scales all over it. "And I'm part Redguard and High Elf.. The High Elf and Argonian blood are why I have such a pale complexion." he explained completely avoiding my first question. "Red how are you here?" I asked again trying to figure out why and how he was here. Red looked at me for a long moment before he flicked his wrist and some sort of magical barrier formed on the double doors behind him before another magical barrier formed all around the rooms walls and doors. "A spell to keep nosey people from hearing and entering when they are not welcome." He explained as he took another deep breath before speaking again. "Amara you remember when you were younger and used to see me in your dreams?" he asked waiting for a response. I quickly nodded my head remembering every time I was locked in my cupboard I would dream of a tall and considerably handsome man with black hair, pale skin, skull-like face and blood red eyes. "Well do you remember before that when you used to have a nightmare of a figure hidden in a dark robe and a bright green light flashing...well that wasn't a dream." when he said this my eyes widen confused at what he was saying. "Amara the figure hidden in the dark robe was me... Wait before you speak let me finish... My real name was Tom Marvolo Riddle.. And that Dream.. I mean that memory of yours was of me coming to kill you and your brother.. Wait. Wait. Let me finish.." however I didn't let him finish I was confused at the words he was saying. "Kill me and my brother... But why." before I could continue speaking Re... I mean Tom began speaking again.
"Amara back where we came from.. Earth. There was a society of magical beings called wizards and witches as well as Magical Creatures.. Well you'll get to meet them when we go back. However you and I are wizards and I was known as Lord Voldemort or the Dark Lord... And before I came to kill you and your brother two nights before I had learned from one of my followers part of a prophecy.. The part of the prophecy that my follower had heard and told me was. The one with the power to Vanquish the dark lord approaches." it was then I snapped at Tom when he said this. "YOU TRIED TO KILL ME AND MY BROTHER... YOU MADE ME LOSE EVERYTHING. CAUSED MY SUFFERING AND DEATH OVER A PROPHECY THAT YOU ONLY KNEW HALF OF! OW OW OW!" I had begun screaming at him as I sat up abruptly causing my leg to twinge in pain forcing me to stop shouting at Tom as my eyes welled up with tears. Tom however just sat there calmly as I had my little meltdown, but when I finally stopped because of the pain in my leg he moved closer, as he moved my left leg onto his lap while he grabbed a small wooden box with some sort of sticky substance inside of it and before I could say anything he began to rub the substance on the large, thick, jagged pink mark on my leg. At first I pulled my leg away from him not wanting him to touch me but when the sticky substance touched my aching leg it began soothing the pain making it almost non-existent. "Why...Why were you so nice to me then?" I asked wanting to understand but not fully. Tom took a deep breath in before speaking. "Back then I was afraid of death... And the night... I had tried to kill you and your brother, the spell had backfired and hit me instead... However when that happened the last of my soul that was already broken into many pieces had taken refuge inside of a scar." Tom then looked at me in the eyes before looking at the right side of my forehead. "A scar that looks awfully like lightning striking across your forehead and down underneath your right eye." I knew of what scar he was talking about it was something that my aunt had tried to hide so many times and failed. The scar took the appearance of a fern-like pattern across the right side of my forehead that reached down just below my right eye and partially on the bridge of my nose.
"What does that mean?" I asked not fully understanding what he meant. "It means Amara that I am part of you... I'm a part of your scar wherever You Go I Go... You are what the wizard and witches call a horcrux. A dark forbidden part of magic that can only be made from the act of murder.. When I tried to kill you and your brother I had accidentally made a seventh horcrux which is your scar... That means if you die... Well I guess that doesn't really matter since you have died and I'm still with you... but if my other horcrux's get destroyed the sole fragment that I placed in them will die also." he explained not fully looking me in the eye as he put the box back in his bag before wrapping my leg in a bandage so the tender flesh wouldn't get infected. "That doesn't explain why you're so nice to me... I mean you wanted me and my brother dead... What changed?" when I asked this Tom seemed to stutter in his movement before continuing to bandage my leg as he spoke. "Well I guess the best way to explain it is that while I was in your scar I could see and feel everything that happened to you... And watching you go through all that. It reminded me of when I was a child.. I needed help and I asked many people for help, but I was never given help... I thought and believed for a very long time that what I went through with the muggles was the worst that anyone could get.. But watching your life.. You've been abandoned. Then abused.. And assaulted and.. And then murdered. I realized that I hadn't had it worst and that there may be other children, men, women even creatures that may have it worse than even I did." As he explained this he looked up at me and I could see in his eyes that he was telling me the truth as well as I could feel my scar on my forehead filled with the motion of sorrow and regret. It's not the first time my scar has done this as it has done for many times. "You changing your strategy then?" when I said this Tom smiled slightly before he handed me a small leather bound book. When I opened it and read the first page which had a title that red :Plan To Save Our World And Mother: I smiled at the title as it reminded me of mother Earth, Gaia. Thinking of Gaia and the other gods and goddesses I couldn't help but get suspicious of Tom.
"How did you convince the gods and goddesses to let you come with me?" I tried to hold back my laughter at the look Tom made at my question. "I Erm..well ..you see... hu when you walked through the door of Skyrim I was able to sneak back to the room you were originally in designing your forms you would take in each world... Well I sort of did the same... However since the gods and goddesses didn't know or at least I don't think they knew I was there I came to this world nameless." when he said this and saw the look I was giving him tom quickly started to shake his head. " .no you're not giving me a name." however I was not listening as I was thinking of different types of names that would suit him. "Can I give you a list a names and you choose out of them." hearing me say this and seeing that I was not going to give up Tom nodded his head while waiting for the list of names. "Well I like Tom and it means twin.. Soooo. What about Tamsin, Tavish, Romelo, Tomasz or Maso." after hearing the list of names I could see Tom's face conforming into different expressions as he thought of the names I liked. "Well I do like Tavish but I also like Maso." when he said this I came up with an idea. "Why not call yourself Maso Tavich Darnell.. Darnell means hidden and since you think you were able to hide from the gods and goddesses, I think it suits you." I said with a cheeky grin on my face which only made Tom laugh slightly. "Maso Tavich Darnell.. I like it so that shall be my name." said Maso as he took down the two wards only to have the two twins from this morning fall through the door as it opened suddenly. "WHY COULDN'T WE GET IN?" demanded the twin with hair that reached above his shoulders as he stormed over to me and Maso as my two familiars rushed to my lap in hopes of protection. "STOP THAT AT ONCE YOU'RE SCARING MY FAMILIARS!" I shouted making him stop and his tracks. "You couldn't get in because I asked Maso to put wards up so we could talk in private." I stated as I stroked my two familiars to calm them down reminding the twins that my familiars were just hatchlings and would get scared very easily. "My apologies we did not mean to scare your familiars." said the twin with hair just above his ears as he pulled his brother out of the room. "Maso how long will it take for my leg to fully heal?" I asked trying to change the subject of what just happened. "Since it's just the skin that didn't heal properly I would say a couple of months if you keep on applying the ointment I had just used on you... Don't give me that look you'll still be able to go on your adventures... And I'll most likely be following not far behind you." Hearing that I will be able to still go on quests with Kechan I couldn't help but feel overjoyed.
However as the days turned into weeks and then into a full month thanks to Kechan who had refused to let me walk until the pain in my leg was at least mostly gone. Within this time I had been told by Kechan who was healed by Danica that me and him were Dragonborns and had to go and see the Greybeards at some point to find out more. I was amazed at the story he told me of him slaying a dragon with the Sheelf and some of her soldiers. Kenchan in this time had crossed off two small tasks from my book, the two being talk to Mikaes about Carlotta and delivering the sword to Proventus Avenicci. I then found out that the Jarl had named Kechan Thane of Whiterun for slaying the Dragon. I was then informed by the Sheelf now known as Irileth that the Jarl after learning that I was also a Dragonborn had anointed me the peace bringer of Whiterun thanks to my clever ways to stop fights from happening. Part of me wishes that Maso was not here at all with me as time and the other gods and goddesses had in fact known that he would be here with me thanks to gift explaining it to me and Maso in a dream. Maso in his time with me and the Companions had somehow convinced Kechan that while he was not letting me walk around that it was probably best for me to learn how to write, read, read maps, make potions, alchemy and anything else they could think of. I didn't complain however as I learned many skills while practicing what I read, I enjoyed learning how to read a map and I became very skilled at writing. I had also learned the basics of all the skills including how to fight as I was finally allowed to walk by kechan who took it upon himself to teach me how to fight. My leg still hurt on an odd occasion however it didn't hurt as much.
Before I realize it more than a month has gone by thanks to Maso who taught me skyrims month names, day names and all the holidays that was in each month. I had learned that I had came to Skyrim in July 28th and it was now september 3rd, september was known as Hearthfire in Skyrim and the 3rd was a holiday known as Tales and Tallows a day that celebration of Necromancy. I was told that many people feared this day and often travelled in numbers from three to five people in a group and they often try to avoid going out in the streets at night. It was early afternoon this Hearthfire 3rd Middas as me and Maso sat in the small book area in the Companions food hall which at this time was mostly empty as some of the Companions travelled in groups to complete their tasks fearful of the day's meaning. "Maso I was thinking... I was thinking of talking to Farengar about making a book that's endless and can only be opened if the creator of the book gives you permission." I said as I looked up from the book I was reading. "Ahh in our world what you have just described is called a Grimoire... And I know how to make it I've made a few in our old world. However I do suggest if you make it endless to have the pages melt together when you turn a page that way no matter how many times you flip a page it never looks as though your reaching the end." explained Maso as he got up from his seat not waiting for me to follow and headed towards the stairs that led downwards underneath the companions Hall. I rushed to keep up with him excited at the thought of making my own Grimoire.
Entering the supply room the companion's had. "How thick do you want your grimoire to look." asked Maso as he began picking up the necessary supplies to make a standard book. "Erm. I want it to look as big and as thick as one of my sketchbooks." I said as I pulled out one of the books that me and Kechan had made together out of my hip satchel. The book size being 210mm ×148mm and having 200 pieces of parchment inside. The book cover was made with the dark bluish black skin of a dragon as well as being held together with the bones and teeth of the dragon that Kechan had killed. "You have more than one of those. Is one of them blank?" when he asked this I blushed as I slowly shook my head remembering how bored I had gotten in one week and had sat down and filled more than two of the three books I had and I was now starting to draw in my last book. "Does Kechan have any more dragons skin and bones and teeth then?" he asked as he grabbed 200 pieces of parchment and a thick needle as well as some strong but thin leather straps before starting to lead me back upstairs into the book section of the hall. "Yeah he had kept some aside in case I needed more sketchbooks." Maso nodded his head when I said this obviously pleased. When we sat down Maso placed all the supplies on the table before handing me the needle. "You make the book and then I'll show you the spell to make your book not only endless but also to have the pages melt together so it looks like you never reach the end or get further than the middle of the book. I'll also show you how to bind the book to you so no one can read what you write. To them it would look like some doodles and sketches." once he said this I grabbed the needle and got to work.
It took a while to stitch all 200 pieces of parchment together with the leather straps but it was done. I had also found Kechan who was more than happy to help me make the cover of my book with the dragon skin, teeth and bones once again. Once done I looked over my handy work with relish as I made my way back to the book area in the hall placing the finished book in front of Maso who looked over it with impressed eyes. "Right before we start what's your plan with it? Because if you have a plan we might be able to make a system inside of it." asked Maso as he took out a twig pencil and piece of parchment. "Well erm. oh I want to put potion and food recipes in it. erm... I want to put in how to make certain armour and weapons... oh and different ingredients for food, potions and smithing where to find them and what they look like as well as what they are used for... and different creatures we can hunt and different stuff we get from them.. Different types of Magical Creatures if they're deadly or not and how to take care of the ones that aren't deadly and what different parts of them can be used for... Different races and what we know about them.. Oh and can't forget about spells and enchantments.. Magical artifacts... My clothes designs and different materials and other things that can be used. And what else there's something else oh how to make different types of jewellery.. alchemy.. Oh I want to put my sketches in as well... And then whatever else I learn, find or invent." as I spoke Maso wrote down what I said as he grabbed a book titled ruins out of his bag that was on the floor next to his feet. "All right what you're going to do is take this book this small carving tool and your soon to be grimoire and you're going to look at all the ruins in this book and carve it in the bones on your book." when he said this he handed me all three items as well as the small list he had made.
Sitting on the floor in front of my temporary bed in the shared bed Chambers of the other new companions I was happily stitching away on my hips satchel when I suddenly heard the chamber door open. "Ahh here you are I was wondering where you were?" I couldn't help but smile as I looked up at Kechan who walked in with a small plate of food placing it on the floor beside me. "What's got you so infatuated that you would actually miss dinner?" I blushed hearing him say this as it meant I was that concentrated on finishing the ruins on not only my grimoire but also on my chest and hips satchel that I almost missed dinner. "Maso gave me a book on ruins so I could make my book endless... However I got a little carried away. I made my chest have some extra compartments inside. It has an ingredients storage compartment, a library compartment, wardrobe compartment, a weapons compartment, potion storage compartment. It also has a liveable space inside, it has a large forest area with one open field space with one story house and a small farming section on the outside. On the inside of the house it's a lot larger. My hips satchel is now connected to my chest. And now anytime I place anything inside my chest or in my hips satchel it will instantly go where it's meant to be, then if I need it out of my chest all I have to do is place my hand inside and think of the object I want and it will come out. I also made all three items unbreakable and all have security measures to stop nosy people from trying to look inside them. Only I can give them permission and I must mean it full heartedly." as I explained Kechan opened my Grimoire wanting to see if what I said was true and was impressed at the result. "I'm in pressed. But if your chest and hip satchel are the same why have both?" asked Ken as he placed the book on top of my chest.
"There not the same. My hip satchel can only show 5 weapons of my choosing, one standard armor, two sets of clothes, a standard set of Medical Supplies, one small case of potions and ingredients, a small fabric covered supply of food and ingredients, an extra pair of boots and my grimoire with a pencil. However anytime I place anything extra in my satchel if i don't need it at the time it will instantly be sent to my chest where it can be stored, that way we're not leaving stuff behind in caves and stuff. I can put my chest in my bag it will just be shrunk down and placed in one of the inner pockets. On the outside of my satchel is the fur blanket and bedroll you had made me strapped to the underneath of the satchel and my money bag that I had made bottomless tied to the right side of the satchel." as I was speaking Ken was examining all three of my handyworks looking at each ruin carved or stitched into it. "Nice very nice. I might have you make my money pouch bottomless, however for now you need to eat then get some sleep because tomorrow we are going to the Greybeards." said Ken as he nudged my plate of food towards me to get me to start eating. I hardly got any sleep that night excited at the prospect of going on an adventure finally after months of healing.
Getting up the next day I couldn't help the excitement I felt as I got ready in my new steel soldier armour that Ken had made me and him, however I still refused to wear the helmet. Once everyone else was ready to go and after Lydia tide my hair up in a milkmaid braid with a red ribbon weaved in the braid. I had presented them all a present I had made while I couldn't sleep during the night. During the night I had made a dragon hide utility belt for myself, Ken, Lydia and Maso and each one was different in its own way. My utility belt was fastened at the front by the buckle I had made with silver ore and smaller teeth of the Dragon, it had my satchel with my fur blanket and bedroll strapped underneath attached to its right side, in front of the satchel I had attached a waterskin, I had removed my money pouch from my satchel and had placed it on my right side before my waterskin on my utility belt, on my left side there was a bit of the Dragon hide sheath with enough room for my one handed sword to fit in it, in front of my sword was my black quiver of Steel arrows, the Utility Belt then extended up my back and over my right shoulder before fastening in between my sword and quiver with my hunter bow attached securely on my back and finally at the back of my utility belt just under my bow was my Grimoire strapped carefully and securely. Ken's utility belt fastened at the front by the buckle I had made with silver ore shape of a Dragons head, it had it's own satchel attached to it that had extra compartments inside if we ever parted ways while traveling Skyrim, he had a money pouch also in front of his satchel but both were on the left side as Ken was left-handed, on the right side was his quiver, his waterskin was in front of his quiver, the Utility Belt then extended up his back and over his left shoulder before fastening in between his money pouch and satchel with his two-handed sword sheathed on his back with his Hunter bow strapped in front of his sword so that it was still accessible but wouldn't be in the way. Lydia's Utility Belt fastened at the front by the buckle I had made with silver ore that took the shape of a Warriors shield and the rest looked nearly identical to Ken's own utility Belt. Maso's utility Belt fastened at the front by the buckle I had made with silver ore that took the appearance of a snake slivering around the buckle, his satchel was on the left side with his money poach, however on the right side he had his own Grimoire and waterskin this was all Maso said he needed as he could summon his own weapons. All the utility belts had the same ruins as I did which were the feather light, unbreakable, theft resistant, size adjustable, nothing would come loose or fall out and stuff like our fur blankets and bedrolls that were underneath our satchels would flatten and shrink against the bottom. When we put the utility belts on Ken made it so that the front strap that went over our shoulder would be hidden by the front of our armour.
"Amara these are amazing." Said Lydia as her belt adjusted to her size when she finished buckling it. "I'm glad you all like it." I said as I watched Ananta and Elyse settle down in the makeshift nest I had made in my satchel so they wouldn't be left behind. Closing my satchel I looked at the one single ruin on the satchel itself which would make it so no matter how much it was jostled around or thrown across a field Ananta and Elyse would not be bothered by it or hurt. We headed out of Whiterun and walked down to the stables were three horses stood with Steel Armor on them. Ken's horse was the largest and was dark brown with it being the same horse we had first bought when we went to retrieve the stone tablet and Golden Claw, Lydia's horse was pure white and my horse being the smallest was mostly white with black and brown patches of colour scattered across her. "Do you need help Amara to get on your Steed?" Asked Maso as he summoned a ghostly blue horse with a saddle on it making me think he was going to ride a Spell. Shaking my head I turned to my Steed. ~Is it all right if you can lower yourself a bit so I can get on you please?~ I asked in her language. ~Hehehe I don't think I will ever get used to you speaking to me.~ said Taffeta as she lowered herself enough for me to pull myself up onto the saddle before she stood upright again and moved to the stone path where the others were waiting already being on their steeds. "It's nearly 9:30 isn't it?" I asked looking at Lydia. "Yes and it's Turdas 4th of Last Seed." she said as we started to follow Ken as he took the lead of our group while Lydia moved to take the rear.
While riding we came to a three-way fork in the road where we took the middle path which was a small wooden bridge that faced a very large mountain that looked almost completely covered in snow. Riding around the large mountain we came up to a two-tower bridge where a dark skin woman stood. "Hold it. This is a toll bridge you have to pay say 200 gold coins to get across the bridge or the path." said the woman as she gripped the hilt of her sword, however Ken was not afraid as he got off his Steed and walked up to the woman making himself look intimidating unfortunately this did not deter her. "Trying to be intimidating. Huh. That's a brave action of someone about to get their guts spilled." she said as she pulled out her one-handed iron sword and began to fight Ken. Lydia had quickly jumped off her horse and joined in the fight. The dark skinned woman had found herself in a very sticky situation when she paid more attention to Lydia Ken would rush at her with full Force forcing her to pay more attention to him, Lydia taking full advantage of the distraction swung her sword down cutting right through the dark skinned woman's left thigh forcing her down to her knee and as she looked up she was met with Ken's sword hacking straight through her skull splattering blood across the path as it did so. Before anything else could be done Lydia and Ken ran into the tower. This was followed by a large explosion as well as battle cries and screams of pain.
A thunderstorm with heavy rain had started while me and Maso waited patiently on our Steeds as we waited for the others to get back, however we were not expecting to see Ken and Lydia carrying two large chests as they slowly placed them into their satchel making the chests look very funny as they slowly shrunk when they were placed inside. "Amara these things are the best. we could live in these satchels." said Lydia as she got back onto her steed. Once Ken was back on his steed we continued riding through the storm as lightning lit up the path, so we were able to at least see partially in the storm. Continuing down the road we crossed a stone bridge before coming to a fork in the road which Ken took out the map. "I think it's right we have to go?" he said questionably as he put away the map and steered his horse to go down the right path. Not far down the road we came across a tower that was being used as a fort, however we did not stop as we continued across another large stone bridge as the storm finally subsided and let through the bright sun albeit low because of how late it was it was still there. It wasn't long before we had to stop as a loud Roar could be heard before seeing a large black dragon with spikes as large as some of the smaller houses in Skyrim as it fly's just above us before disappearing in the mountains ahead. "Right keep an eye out in case that dragon pops out." Said Kechan has he got out his bow just in case.
By the time we had made it to a small town called Ivarstead a day and a half had passed thanks to Kechan who decided that we would not stop to make camp. Looking around the small town there were only two houses, an inn and a tomb like structure that we had learned was called Shroud Hearth Barrow that Ken had said we would adventure inside after we had met the Greybeards in the morning as he led us to the inn so we could all get some rest.
Feeling myself gently shaken awake I opened my eyes only to see Lydia smiling at me. "Wakey wakey sleepyhead." she said as she went in my satchel and pulled out my winter clothes before leaving the room so I could get changed. Once I was dressed and placed my armor into my satchel where I quickly give my two familiars a quick scratch under the chin before leaving my room while eating an apple. After realising my three companions were no longer in the inn, I went outside only to see them convincing a farmer to take care of our horses while we are gone. "I'll give you 100 pieces of gold." said Ken as he took said amount out of his money pouch and handed it to the farmer who was Now more than happy to look after our horses. "Where are we going now?" I asked as Ken rested his right arm over my shoulder leading me through the town and towards a solid stone bridge. "We go up the 7,000 steps..oh here is a small bag of food.. Some guy who finds it difficult to go up the steps asked me to deliver this to the Greybeards." said Ken as he handed me a heart shape bag while pulling me across the bridge. Once at the bottom of the steps I couldn't help but wonder if there were really 7,000 steps. "I'm going to count them." I declared making the others look at me strangely as we started to walk up the steps, me walking slower as I counted each step.
I got up to 40 steps before we ran into a brown bear feasting on a small goat. The bear seeing us stood up on its haunches before letting out a loud roar as it ran towards me specifically. I didn't have enough time to attempt to speak to it as I was concentrating on counting the steps however luckily for me Maso blasted the bear back as shadow appeared out of nowhere and began clawing and pecking viciously at the bears eyes. Ken took this opportunity as the bear was fighting shadow well trying to fight shadow to thrust his sword into the bears neck and drag it down its body as it was standing with its head looking up at the sky. Seeing the bears inners slowly and slimily roll out of its body before it fell to the ground with a loud thump. "Feh Meh..oh that's so gross!" I exclaimed as my feline ears flattened on my head and my cat tail wrapped around my stomach where my arms were pressed against it as well. "Come on Amara you'll get used to it eventually." Said Ken as Lydia moved over to the bear and began to gather what was needed from it. Ken with his hands still bloody grabbed me by the hand and pulled me up the 7,000 steps that were becoming slowly covered in snow and ice the Further we got to the top. Ken only let go of me so he, Lydia and Maso could slay two Frost trolls that had come out of nowhere and had attacked us vehemently. The two Frost trolls were just as ugly and as big as what some of the Companions that had fought them said they were. Watching the smaller of the two trolls finally fall to its knees as Lydia cut through it's spinal cord making it immobilized but still alive on the ground, the larger troll was a lot harder to kill as every time one of them got a good hit on the troll it would bang its fists against the ground making a shock wave that would knock Lydia and Maso to the ground forcing them to roll out of the way of any attack the troll would attempt when they were on the ground. Ken was able to stay on his feet however he was still slightly knocked back a few steps each time the troll hit the ground with its fists. ~Talia how can I use my Earth elemental?~ I asked her mentally as the troll was able to temporarily immobilize Maso, Lydia and Ken before it set its eyes on me, however it did not attack me as it raised its head up before starting to sniff the air for something.
It was then as it stood up on its back legs that I realised that something was terribly wrong. Watching the frost troll closely my eyes had noticed something that made my face burn up with embarrassment at what I was seeing. As my eyes travelled down the torso of the troll I couldn't help but notice what started out as a fur covered prepuce was slowly pulling back to reveal a very thick and long dark blueish pink member that was very quickly growing in size as it stuck up and on the odd occasion bounced off the trolls lower torso which only made the member slowly leak white fluid as the troll huffed and grunted. ~AMARA RUN!~ Apollo shouted however I had already turned around and began to run as fast as I could down the steps. ~WHAT'S HAPPANING?~ I shouted through our link as I could hear the troll chasing after me but I didn't want to turn around to see how close it was. ~You've started your heat cycle way too soon.~ said Talia as I hid behind a large Boulder watching the troll run straight past me. I ran as fast as I could back up to Ken and the others hoping that they were conscious now as I could feel a strong heat building up inside of me but it was different to the fire element I had used to save Ken and Hadvar, no the heat I was feeling Rush through my body was making me feel slightly sluggish in my movements as well as making it slightly harder to concentrate on my breathing as it got heavier. Seeing Ken helping Lydia to her feet I felt slightly overjoyed but that joy quickly turned to fear as I heard the trolls roar that sounded too close for my liking, and I didn't know about anyone else, but I didn't feel up to being screwed by a frost troll. "HELP! KENNY! I'VE STARTED MY HEAT CYCLE!AND NOW THE TROLL IS TRYING TO SCREW ME!" I screamed as I began to cry at the realization of what might happen if I didn't get help soon. Ken however was not the person who reacted first, no it was Lydia as she picked up her two handed axe and charged at the troll that was much closer than I thought and with one quick motion with her axe the trolls hand that had just reached me was clean off as blood splattered across my back as I moved far and fast away from the troll. I turned around in time just to see Lydia swing her two-handed axe around madly sometimes not even hitting the troll, but it was done as she swung her axe once more at the hardly recognizable troll it was dead. "If either one of you touch him I will cut your things off!" said Lydia in a deadly tone as she turned around covered head to toe in blood. "Trust me when I say I have no intention of attempting a mating with Amara." stated Maso as he raised his hands before continuing up the steps, Lydia then looked at Ken expectantly. "I've got my eyes Set on someone else. a female Someone else." he said which only made me giggle breathlessly as the thought of Camilla popped in my head. "It's Camilla, isn't it?" when I asked this Ken just winked his eye as he picked me up and placed me on his left hip slightly resting on the satchel which gave him extra support in carrying me the rest of the way up the 7,000 steps.
"So Amara how many steps have we walked up?" asked Ken as we walked up the last few steps only to stand in front of a castle-like structure with a single chest in front of it. Looking up at Ken I couldn't help the animalistic growl that came out of me as a response. This however only made Ken laugh. "Aw is the little kitty cat angry that he didn't get to count all the steps?" said Ken in a baby voice as he took the heart shape supply bag out of my satchel and placed it inside of the chest while still holding me close to him. I however was not finding it funny at all as I was now feeling slight waves of pain shoot through my body anytime I breathed or moved. "Ke.n.. ." I said breathlessly as Ken walked up to the doors of High Hrothgar. "I know Kitten but there's nothing I can do it's just something you have to wait through." said Ken as we entered the castle like building.
Once inside and with the ice wind no longer hitting us I sighed a breath of relief as the mind numbing heat I was feeling subsided slightly letting me concentrate on my surroundings more. Only to see four elderly looking Men in Black ropes with hoods over their heads waiting and a somewhat circle for us in the center of the room. Ken placed me on my feet and made sure I could stand on my own before moving towards the closest man in the circle. "So... Two dragonborns appear at this moment of the turning of the age." said the man that didn't look impressed at seeing me in my heat ridden state as I wavered on my feet slightly before moving closer to Ken to prop myself up slightly as he spoke. "You did summon us when I used the Unrelenting Force." "Ah. yes well shout for us dragonborns. prove that you are just that... And don't worry the shout will not harm us." said the elderly man as he waited patiently. As I stood up straight I let Ken walk up first to get an idea of what I needed to prove only to be impressed by what I saw. "FUS!" shouted Ken forcing two of the four men back a couple of steps at the sheer force of his shout. "Ah so you are a dragonborn." stated the elderly man as he straightened up his robes looking highly impressed at Ken. "Now it's your turn." he said as he looked at me obviously not expecting much to come out of me while I'm in this state. "FUSS!" I shouted as the bubbling anger inside of me mixed with the heat I was feeling added to the force of my shout as it forced all four elderly men as well as Ken back 10 steps. "Hay! Good job kitten." cheered Ken as he gave me a beaming smile of pride as he moved back to the side of me so I could lean against him. The old man however was surprised at the sheer force of my shout obviously shocked that my shout was stronger than Ken's. "Dragonborns it is you both welcome to High Hrothar. I am master Arngeir. I speak for the Greybeard. Now tell me Dragonborns why have you come?" Asked Arngeir as he straightened up his robes once more. "We're answering your summons."answered Ken taking note that I was unable to speak again for the time being. "We are honored to welcome a Dragonborn to High Hrothar. We will do our best to teach you both how to use your gift in fulfilling of your destiny." Said Arngeir in a serious tone. "What is our destiny?" asked Ken with the confused look on his face. "That is for you to discover. We can only show you the way, but not your destination." Said Arngeir as he began speaking again he led us to the Center of the room where diamond shape was on the ground with 12 squares inside the diamond.
"You both have shown that you are dragonborn. You both have the inborn gift. But do you both have the discipline and temperament to follow the path laid out for you both? That remains to be seen. Without training, you both have already taken the first steps towards projecting your voice into a Thu'um, a shout. Now let us see if you both are willing and able to learn. When you shout, you speak in the language of dragons. Thus, your Dragon Blood gives you an inborn ability to learn Words of Power. All shouts are made up of three Words of Power. As you master each Word, your Shout will become progressively stronger. Now Master Einarth will teach you "Ro," the second word in Unrelenting Force. Ro means "Balance" in the dragon tongue. Combine it with Fus - "Force" - to focus your Thu'um more sharply." As he explained this the man behind him walked up to the diamond in front of us before saying Ro which made strange carvings that now glowed red as the power inside the carving flowed towards me and Ken. "You learn a new word like a master... you truly do have the gift. But learning a Word of Power is only the first step... you must unlock its meaning through constant practice in order to use it in a shout. Well, that is how the rest of us learn shouts. As a Dragonborn, you can absorb a slain dragon's life force and knowledge directly. As part of your initiation, Master Einarth will allow you to tap into his understanding of "Ro."" when Arngeir spoke the same man as before opened his arms letting a whiteish blue light seep out of him and into me and Ken. "Now let us see how quickly you can master your new Thu'um. Use your Unrelenting Force shout to strike the targets as they appear. Use both Fus and Ro. Together, they will make the Shout more powerful." he explained as the two men at the Far Side began to summon men like figures for me and can to use the Thu'um.
Me and Ken managed to get through the full training session from start to finish. We of course started inside where we had to use the Thu'um to get rid of the blue men like figures, however once we had completed that albeit slightly messy for me with me being in heat and unable to stand on my feet properly we were then moved to the courtyard for the last part of the training where we learned a completely new shout as Lydia and Maso stayed by the back door watching curiously. The new shout was called Wuld which means Whirlwind. Arngeir was impressed at how fast we learned it despite how hard it was meant to be to learn, however it felt easy as all it did was make us run fast across the courtyard. Arngeir then give us a quest to Retrieve the Horn of Jurgen Windcaller. Ken however told me as we descended the 7,000 steps that we would wait until I was properly trained to complete our destiny and that was fine with me.
By the time we descended the 7,000 steps and were back in the Ivarstead village it was already 10 at night and I was slowly swaying in the arms of Maso who had taken me out of Ken's Arms to let him rest for a bit. When we got closer to the inn my heart stopped at the people that were approaching us and even Ken tensed as he looked at me over his shoulder and quirked an eyebrow in question. "How...no... can't be... The people in strange masks." I say with fear clear in my voice, hearing me say this Ken's face went Dark as he took a slight defensive stance in front of me and Maso blocking me from view of the two strangers approaching us. "Can I help you gentleman with something?" asked Ken with a slight hint of venom in his voice which was not noticed by the two men in strange masks as the larger of the two spoke in a deep voice. "You there! You're the one they call Dragonborn?" he asks seemingly not noticing me, however I couldn't help but notice the second man that was with him had tilted his head slightly to the right seemingly staring right at me as I tried to hide my face and tail as best as I could. "There are those who believe that I am. But also those who believe that I am not." stated Ken as Lydia with her hand on the hilt of her sword noticed the smaller man seemingly looking straight at me and stepped forward next to Ken in warning to back off or get hurt. "You shall not stand in the way of the true Dragonborn's return. He comes soon, and we shall offer him your heart!" shouted the taller man in pure rage as the smaller one quickly spoke up at the end of his companion's speech. "And will hand him his submissive that you have stolen from him." he said in a voice that sounded almost like a pur of joy at the prospect of taking me to this so-called true Dragonborn. I however was not going to take that comment lying down. "I. AM. NO. ONES. SUBMISSIVE. HISSS!" I shouted screamed at the two men in strange masks as I also give them a very venomous, animalistic hiss in warning as the air around us got slightly tighter. This however only made the two men chuckle at the site I made in Maso's arms as they got out their weapons and stepped closer, only to be knocked down by a large black furred feline with blues and purples mixed in with its black fur. Everyone in the village how to find somewhere or another to cover their ears as an ear-piercing roar could be heard from the big black beast that was standing above both men effortlessly as it roared in their face as they screamed in fear and terror. Once the Beast finished roaring and jumped off them, the two men run for the hills as fast as I could with their metaphorical tales between their legs. When the Beast faced me I couldn't help but shriek in delight at who I saw. ~Starlight.. your here... Where were you... An hour and a half ago... When the troll instant happened?~ starlight purd as she lifted herself up slightly to rub against my lower leg as she answered. ~We're sorry our cub. But we did try. There was simply no Shadows dark enough for myself to come to help you. But shadow was able to help with the bear, however he simply couldn't help you with the trolls they were smart enough to have been able to catch him.~ Ken shook his head as he led our small group Plus Starlight to the farmer who was standing next to our horses obviously shocked at what he had just witnessed and was apprehensive at the large black cat walking beside Maso as he carried me. "Thank you for looking after our steeds." said Ken as he handed the farmer some more gold for the trouble. As I was in my heat state I could not sit on Taffeta properly without nearly falling so I ended up sitting in front of Lydia who held her left arm around me so I would not fall. "This is going to be a long ride isn't it?" I asked as I turned to Maso who was on my Steed, he just gave me a look that said I'm sorry as he summoned a weapon in preparation just in case. As we rode home we had ended up in the formation of Ken in the lead with shadow circling above, me and Lydia were in the centre of the formation, Maso with Starlight brought up the rear ready for any attacks by possible dominance or wild animals and magical beasts.
