"Dude, that's not fair!"
Robin sighed as he neared the main room hearing Beast Boy whine about something.
"I asked if I could order some action figures and the answer was no."
"Maybe that's because he knows you'll just end up donating them after a few months anyway." Raven retorted.
"What are you two arguing about now?" Robin asked as he walked in, approaching the two at the counter.
"You ordered her more books but said no to my figures!" Beast Boy pointed a finger at the box of books between him and Raven.
"You do realize that one of those figures was almost the same price as all the books right?" Robin raised a brow under his mask, causing one side to be bigger than the other.
"Still," he kicked an imaginary rock, "it's not fair. We all know you like her, you don't have to play favorites."
Robin fought hard to keep his blush down at the accusation.
"What about the comics you got the other day?" Raven pointed out. "And the vegetarian baked goods, that new video game, and the headset for the game station?"
Robin smiled. Raven was backing him up.
"Well, uh."
"Yeah. So I can get a few books if I want to."
"Whatever." Beast Boy grumbled, walking out of the room.
"You could have just ignored him." Robin said amused.
"And not prove him wrong?" Raven said, sifting through her books. "Hard pass."
Robin chuckled. "Give him a break."
"No." She shook her head and walked over to him, giving him a quick kiss on the cheek. "Thank you for getting me these. You spoil me too much."
Robin gently grabbed the sides of her head and placed a kiss on her forehead. "You're welcome. I don't think I spoil you enough."
"See?!" Beast Boy poked back in. "This is what I'm talking about! It's gross."
Raven only had to fix him a look and the green teen skedaddled away.
"You're too mean to him." Robin laughed, pulling her into a light hug.
"Someone has to be." She mumbled, wrapping her arms loosely around his waist.
"Oh, I love you." He sighed, giving her head another kiss.
"I love you too." She smiled into his shoulder.
